To celebrate the success of my new book "The Little Merman" I am holding this contest! Please put your registration sheets on this chapter if you are competing in this contest as well as any questions!

"The algae is always greener on the other side." That seems especially true in this twist on Disney's "tail" of the Little Mermaid. Aries would do anything to become a part of their world. Even go to extreme measures to gain his legs. With his brother transformed at his side, Aries has exactly one month and a day to make the spell that gave him his legs permanent. The problem? Getting true love's first kiss...from a straight guy.

The theme of the prompts will be...you guessed it! Disney princesses! You will have two weeks to turn in your stories to me (if you don't you are eliminated.) from the time I say go. I will tell everyone at the end of the first week as a reminder.

THE PROMPTS.

The prompts will be arranged as such. •Name of the prompt. What object must be in it somewhere (Ex: dog). Must say the word (Ex: disco) somewhere in it.

•Cinderella: Stiletto, mien

•Sleeping Beauty: Bed, hebetude

•Pocahontas: Paintbrush, achromatic

•Mulan: Lantern, aggrandize

•Ariel: Goldfish, admonish

•Jasmine: Carpet, anhydrous

•Rapunzel: hairbrush, citadel

•Tiana: frog, jejune

•Belle: book, quadruped

No two people will have the same prompt. First come first serve. Which means if you want Belle you better be quick to claim it!

You will be graded on:
•Spelling
•Grammar
•Use of the word
•Use of the object
•Plot
•Characters
•Originality

Your work must:
•Be less than five pages
•Have the object somewhere in it
•Say the word somewhere in it
•Be turned in before the 2wks are up
•Not be historical fiction
•Not be paranormal
•Not be horror
