Name: Angel Coletti

Age: thirteen

District: 8, Textiles.

Family or Relatives: Angel has been an orphan her whole life; her mother died at birth, father a criminal who was executed when she was a year old. She lived in the District Eight orphanage up until she was seven years old, when a Victor of that year's Games took her to live with him in the village. Though he was only twelve, he officially adopted her from the orphanage.

Romance: Slipped in and out of crushes since she was twelve, but nothing too serious. She may be sort of in love with someone at the moment, however.

Appearance: Shoulder-length strawberry blonde hair, that was much more blonde when she was younger; bright blue eyes; soft, pale skin; rosy cheeks; very baby-faced, she looks much younger than she is, (imagine her looking slightly older on the cover) and her face is round and smooth, lips small and puffy. About 4'9", but she can handle herself amazingly; although her strides are small because of her short legs, she can run extremely fast and climb trees with ease, making it to the top in under thirty seconds, depending on the tree.

Personality: shy; cheerful; optimistic; playful; caring for all; funny; smart; can be out-going, but normally she's a bit shy; loves playing games, making friends, and solving problems; she's the go-to when you've got a heavy heart in need of comfort, or just an ear to listen, or advice, even if she doesn't think hers would do much good.

Weapon: she's not very trained when it comes to weapons, but her "big brother" as she calls him (the one who adopted her) taught her to use knives. Fearing the day when she may be Reaped, he also taught her everything he knew about sword-wielding, which he'd learned being in the games himself many years back.

Token: a brass necklace engraved with hers and her adoptee's names on the back, also with the words "We'll carry on forever" there. Inside is a picture of Angel and her big brother when she was eight years old, at the cancer ward where she learned she'd beaten it.

Status: volunteered for her "little sister", a small child recently adopted by the small family.

Other: Years ago Angel had cancer, when she was only seven. She met her adoptee at the orphanage where they both grew up. Later that same day he learned of her cancer and was then reaped into the 70th Hunger Games from which he emerged Victor at only twelve years old. He came home to find her in a hospital getting better. Around the time of her eighth birthday, only a few weeks later, she received news that she had beaten the cancer, and was on her way to full recovery. Ecstatic, the two of them celebrated by signing the adoption papers, even though the boy was barely thirteen years old, they allowed it because he was the Victor and could give her a good home. Angel lived with that boy in the Victor's Village the rest of the time up until now. Three years ago, they decided to adopt another young girl living in the orphanage with a similar back story to theirs. Her mother died giving birth to her, and her father had run away because he was a criminal. She was only nine years old then, and this year at twelve was reaped as tribute for the games, but Angel stepped in and volunteered herself, much to her brother's utter disappointment. At least he'd be her mentor this year, at eighteen years old, and could help her learn to survive.
