Reina: I've had this idea for a while, but HumbleTomato suggested that I should write this and she also gave me ideas, so a shoutout goes to her!

Basically this is a Fire Emblem story with some inspiration from Hyrule Warriors.

"You're pathetic fighters," a masked man muttered as he walked past me. I attempted to grab his foot to stop him, but he kicked my hand away. A few feet away from me was Leo, who was knocked out, and Takumi, who had fallen next to him.

I glance up at the man. "You won't get away with this."

The masked man looked at me. "It's too late, Corrin. I've already won." He raised his hand and magic began to swirl around his hand. I attempted to crawl away, but I could barely move. Tears stung my eyes as the man's hand was ready to shoot at me.

I wouldn't be able to play with Sakura and Elise again.

I wouldn't be able to incite a squabble between Leo and Takumi.

Hinoka and Camilla couldn't mother me when I was alone.

Ryoma and Xander wouldn't be able to help me rule my kingdom.

Azura could never sing for me again.

All of the friendships I have would be gone if I died.

I shut my eyes and waited for death. As the fire left his hand and Takumi screamed my name, a man stepped forward and blocked the attack.

"Who goes there?" The masked man asked.

The white haired man laughed. "Don't recognize me, Grima?"

Grima spat at the man. "You should be dead."

"I beg to differ," the white haired man replied as lightning surrounded his hand. "You should be dead."

Before Grima could move, lightning surrounded his body. He screamed and stumbled backwards, allowing me to move backwards. Takumi crawled over to me and tried to help me up. We kept tumbling, but we eventually got up.

Grima focused his attention on me. "You're lucky... For now. Until we meet again..." A portal opened up behind him and he stepped into it, disappearing. The white haired man lunged after him and sent a lightning bolt, but the portal closed, causing the bolt to continue outward until it fizzled out.

The white haired man sighed. "I missed him. Dang it."

After making sure I could stand, Takumi went to check on Leo. I looked at the man, trying to figure out who he was.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"My name is Robin." He held out his hand to me, as if he wanted me to take it. "And if I don't help you, everyone you know will die at the hand of Grima."

Reina: How convenient that Robin showed up at the right tome, although I'm wondering how he showed up in Corrin's time. The next chapter will set up how Corrin, Takumi, and Leo got into this mess.
