ㅤㅤㅤHer creator, ᛗᚨ ━or mother, as all the Eriynxinians called her━, took her time making small petals of a cherry tree to put each of them in a newly made wood crown, thin enough for it to be light. She made sixteen petals in total, representing Solaomoni's age.

ㅤㅤㅤᛗᚨ kneeled in front of the smaller fairy━ the oldest fairy of them all was at least thirty-two feet tall, the size of the biggest tree in Eriynx. Still, as she sat at half her height, Solaomoni had to raise her head to look at her creator's eyes.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Solaomoni Ilzzetrum," she spoke, her voice so powerful that it shook the ground, "do you promise to protect your family, to bring to your siblings only the creatures nature offers you, and to not harm the ones protected by Nari, out of respect for their honor?"

ㅤㅤㅤ"Yes, I do." eager to finish the ceremony, Solaomoni rushed her words, breathless as she played with her fingers. Her mother chuckled at her lack of patience, not knowing that ᛗᚨ's slow movements were starting to make her anxious.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Very well. By Nari's grace, I proclaim you, Solaomoni Ilzzetrum," she raised her arms above the ginger's head and the smaller fairy closed her eyes, moving her head down so it would be easier for her creator to place the wooden crown on top of her head. As she moved, the sound of wood, almost the same as an old door opening, could be heard coming from her. "Eriynx's newest ᚷᚢᛖᚱᚱᛖᛁᚱᚨ━ our youngest Warrior!"

ㅤㅤㅤScreams of joy erupted from all around, Solaomoni's siblings were as happy as she was, they all knew it was her dream to become one of Eriynx's Guardians, as most of her siblings already were.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Congratulations, Sol!" a scream by her side made her turn with a smile, Kinowl ━or just Owl; one of her older brothers and her best friend━ hugged her aggressively, almost making the girl fall on her back. A couple of the other fairies followed behind him, hugging Solaomoni until she actually the grass, laughing along with the Eriynxinians.

ㅤㅤㅤThey were all happy for her, and she couldn't be more grateful for everything.

ㅤㅤㅤThe fairies danced around the fireplace all night, and Sol danced with all of her older siblings, never getting tired of it all. Her oldest sister, Luczianao, prepared a delicious meal for them: two roasted chickens with boiled potatoes, boiled eggs, rice, beans, and ᛒᚩᛚᛁᚾᚹᚩ ᛞᛖ ᚳᚹᚢᦾᚨ ━Solaomoni's favorite food━ as dessert.

ㅤㅤㅤAt only sixteen Solaomoni Ilzzetrum hadn't lived much, but she could say for sure that the night she became a Warrior was the best night of her life.

ㅤㅤㅤAll her life Sol never felt as if her wings served for something: flying was a natural thing that she was blessed with only because she was who she was━ a fairy. After she officially became a Warrior, many things changed, her wings had a purpose, she had a purpose.

ㅤㅤㅤEven after two years of serving as a Warrior, she was always excited to be away from Eriynx, where no rules could keep her stuck to the same routine━ her partner in hunt, Kinowl, encouraged that behavior by following her around with no complaints. He only ever stopped her when she was about to do something really dangerous, which meant freedom for Solaomoni Ilzzetrum!

ㅤㅤㅤAnd, oh, how she loved every second of it.

ㅤㅤㅤInside her home, Sol never went against her elders (as she was taught since a little girl, respect being a part of their culture), she was respectful to her older siblings and parents, always taking rules very seriously. Out of Eriynx, she felt like another person, someone free, someone fearless.

ㅤㅤㅤSo fearless, that she dared to cross the boundaries set by her parents to keep them all safe.

ㅤㅤㅤCamelot was enchanting━ hypnotic, even. Or, at least, that is what Solaomoni could say about the walls that separated their little world from her vast one.

ㅤㅤㅤSolaomoni had tried to replicate the music she had heard within with her voice, but it was hard to make it sound as melodic and wonderful, Sol was no singer.

ㅤㅤㅤHer only wish was to see what was happening on the other side of the wall, but even she knew it was too much to ask; as soon as a human saw her, chaos would erupt, and Solaomoni knew they would never have mercy on a creature made of magic like herself.

ㅤㅤㅤInstead, she appreciated their culture from afar and learned their language slowly to hear and understand their conversations━ one more interesting than the other.

ㅤㅤㅤAs much as Owl appreciated her rebellion once in a while, he was entirely against the idea of being near Camelot━ which was the only place where he wouldn't follow his sister. He despised humans from only the things he had heard of them, and ━although he'd never admit it━ Owl was scared of them, too. Beings with a passion for chaos and destruction were not made to be enchanted by.

ㅤㅤㅤAfter he told their oldest brother, Lupini, what she was doing without their permission, Solaomoni was prohibited from going out to hunt for a whole week. She didn't let that stop her, however, and kept going out of Eryinx without any of her family members' knowledge to visit the white walls of Camelot.

ㅤㅤㅤSol would never hide anything from her brother, Kinowl, so it was a new thing for her to start going somewhere without telling him first. Yet, the curiosity got the best of her, and the humans were odd enough that she became very interested in them.

ㅤㅤㅤShe even began to train their language to herself, muttering sentences that made no sense to her to understand them. Bit by bit, she became more and more interested in the humans' culture.

ㅤㅤㅤSolaomoni was never one to lie, she didn't know how to, and so she didn't deny it when Owl questioned her if she was still spending her days staring at the white walls.

ㅤㅤㅤHe knew he couldn't make her stop; Sol was as stubborn as she was fearless.

ㅤㅤㅤBut Owl still tried.

ㅤㅤㅤHe ignored his own fear to show his sister how merciless humans could be━ they tortured innocent creatures for pleasure, imprisoned trolls only because of their mere existence, and killed anything that could use magic in their favor out of fear. However, Solaomoni had no interest in humans━ she despised them just as much as all her family did━, her only interest was in their culture, the way they lived, and how they were as curious about the life outside as she was about them.

ㅤㅤㅤThe foolish thought of convincing that race that they ━not only the fairies, but all magical creatures━ were inoffensive never left her mind. But she knew it was only that, a foolish thought.

ㅤㅤㅤ𝐎𝐖𝐋 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐎𝐏 𝐎𝐅 𝐀 𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐇, attentive to the boar a few feet away from him as he pulled the string of his bow to steady it silently. Owl glanced to his right, where Solaomoni sat on a branch of another tree, holding her longsword firmly, ready to attack at his command.

ㅤㅤㅤHe raised his bow and pulled on the nock of the arrow as it remained still between his index and middle finger.

ㅤㅤㅤOwl took a deep breath.

ㅤㅤㅤ☀︎︎

ㅤㅤㅤWith a flicker of his blue moon butterfly patterned wings, he released the arrow and it stuck to the back of the boar's head, making it let out a pained screech.

ㅤㅤㅤJust like they had planned minutes before, Sol jumped from the tree and ran towards the boar with a war scream. Even unprepared, the animal didn't hesitate to attack her before she could get him. It ran towards her at the same speed, but it was stopped by another one of Owl's arrows, which hit the same place, making the arrow that was stuck there lean to the side. The boar lost the strength in its legs and fell helplessly to the floor, Solaomoni only had to finish the job by getting on the boar's back and inserting a deep cut into its neck with the longsword.

ㅤㅤㅤAlready used to the blood, Sol only flinched when it stained her hands and face.

ㅤㅤㅤ☀︎︎

ㅤㅤㅤBreathless, she got off of the boar's back and kneeled by its side along with her brother, who had climbed down on the tree after it was dead. They closed their eyes and prayed with their heads down out of respect for the animal.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Thank you for blessing us with this food," they both chanted, raising a hand over the boar's head. "We wish you peace in the Afterlife."

ㅤㅤㅤSighing, Owl stood up, fixing his black hair in the process, as it was starting to compromise his vision, and grabbed the boar by its front legs, pulling it around to put it comfortably on his own back and staining his shirt with blood in the process. He looked over at Sol to find out that her eyes were not on their food, but somewhere distant in the forest. Rolling his eyes, Owl sighed again, already knowing what was hiding beyond the Wild Wood.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Izzy, no." he warned, making the fairy turn to him as she flew up to see Camelot's walls a bit better━ the walls were too distant for her to see a mere brick, however. Owl was smart, he used the sweetest nickname he had given her for her to feel bad. "You know you're not supposed to be there. Please, let's just go home."

ㅤㅤㅤSolaomoni flew back down, pouting as she placed the bloody blade back on her waist along with the pocketknife.

ㅤㅤㅤ"I'm just━ I'm just going to go get some bunnies, I promise." Solaomoni Ilzzetrum wasn't a very good liar, everyone knew that, and so she didn't convince her brother with all the hesitation in her phrase and the way she stuttered━ it was too easy to point out her lies.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Izzy..." Sol whimpered at the use of the nickname again, avoiding Owl's ice-blue eyes as she cleaned her hands in her brown shorts. Owl frowned━ his sad puppy eyes wouldn't work with her if she wasn't even looking at him. "Hey, look at me."

ㅤㅤㅤSol shook her head, turning around so Owl would only stare at her back. Sighing at her childish behavior, he pulled the boar once more to put him back in place━ its heavy weight was pulling the fairy down with immense pressure. Not wanting to deal with the heavy weight on his shoulders for too long, he gave up trying to convince Solaomoni to go home with him.

ㅤㅤㅤ"All right, whatever," Sol smiled in pure joy as her brother scoffed, turning back to walk back home. "don't think I'm not going to tell Lupini where you went."

ㅤㅤㅤ"Oh, come on!" Sol whined, turning to her brother as he slowly walked away with the boar staining his back with its blood.

ㅤㅤㅤHuffing, she turned back, her scowl had disappeared in a second, and an excited expression took over her face as she flew as fast as she could to get to the walls.

ㅤㅤㅤAs promised, she returned home with three adult rabbits in hand and managed to fly back fast enough to find Owl as he was almost arriving home.

ㅤㅤㅤ"See? I told you, only to get bunnies." she smiled, shrugging as she flew around her brother, who only rolled his eyes in annoyance.

ㅤㅤㅤ"One of these days you'll be face to face with a human, and trust me, you're not going to find them as interesting anymore." he warned, to which she only scoffed in response. The black-haired fairy found that incredibly disrespectful and was about to reprehend his sister for doing it, but was interrupted by herself, as he had not realized they were already at Eriynx's butterfly-shaped gates.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Good morning, Lupini." she called, waving at their oldest brother as he stood on guard at the wooden gates.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Morning, Lupini." Owl followed her action, proudly pulling the boar on his back again to show its face to Lupini, who only smiled.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Good morning, Owl, Solaomoni." he nodded at the both of them, scratching his eye bags as he yawned. Both of his younger siblings knew why he was so tired, their older brother had to stay up all night since he was the leader of the group of fairies that had to protect Eryinx's gates during the night.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Look! I brought three bunnies this time." Solaomoni showed her hunt to her brother, who frowned as he slowly connected the dots━ even with a slow, tired mind, Lupini was far from being dumb enough not to know where she got the rabbits. Those animals used to hide near Camelot, where trolls and other magical creatures couldn't get them.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Were you near Camelot again?" he didn't hide his disappointment as he crossed his arms at Sol, who lost her smile and flew back down to stand in the grass barefoot, as always.

ㅤㅤㅤ"No..." Sol was yet to be a good liar.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Yes she was, I told her not to go there, but she didn't want to listen. Again." Owl muttered as he walked in to get rid of the boar on his back.

ㅤㅤㅤLupini glared at Solaomoni as she recoiled, his jet-black eyes could be scary, sometimes.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Why do you insist on disobeying us when you're out of Eriynx?" he was genuinely confused, Lupini couldn't understand how his most obedient sister could be so rebellious when away from them, even with Owl's encouragement. "Sol, you know we only set that rule for your safety. Humans━"

ㅤㅤㅤ"Are all evil creatures, yes, I know." Solaomoni resisted the urge to roll her eyes. "I already told you, it's not in them that I'm interested, it's their culture that captivates me!"

ㅤㅤㅤLupin frowned, concerned; Solaomoni was never one to interrupt him when he spoke to her. He worried that her rebellious mannerism was starting to grow inside their home as well, and that wouldn't be good. He sighed, getting out of the way so Sol could go inside, and she hesitated before walking in.

ㅤㅤㅤSol breathed in and out slowly before she flew her way through Eriynx to get to ᛗᚨ's house, nervously fiddling with her fingers as she did so. In her way, many of her siblings were too occupied with their respective works to acknowledge her presence or even wish her a good morning, but all of the younger fairies waved at her as they ran around the yards.

ㅤㅤㅤThe different trees inside Eriynx were quite hard to avoid when she flew out of the path made by her older siblings, Luczianao and Sani, to guide them through the village, but Solaomoni barely paid any attention to that━ her mind was elsewhere.

ㅤㅤㅤThe sound of music from not too far distracted Solaomoni for a second━ she could've sworn that the song her sister, Juni, was playing with her bone flute was one of the human's songs that she had heard before, but the tunes quickly changed to an old Drupyn song and Sol lost interest, turning back to fly to ᛗᚨ's house.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Did Owl already tell you?" Solaomoni sighed as she entered the big house to see ᛗᚨ frowning, which was never a good thing. The oldest fairy was resting in the middle of the house, where a shy ray of sunlight peeked from the cracks in the wood on the cherry tree's branches that formed a tall roof.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Yes." her creator extended her hand and Sol gave her all the rabbits she had managed to capture on the hunt. "And I must tell you, dear, I am not proud of what you did."

ㅤㅤㅤThe young sun fairy had already predicted that, she copied ᛗᚨ's sentence in a whisper at the same time as the older fairy spoke and sighed after she was done speaking.

ㅤㅤㅤ"I know." she bit her tongue, not wishing to infuriate ᛗᚨ with any of the sarcastic remarks she had thought of.

ㅤㅤㅤᛗᚨ was silent for a moment, judging Solaomoni with only her eyes. Deciding not to say anything, ᛗᚨ moved back from her place━ the sound of old wood following her movements━, standing up carefully to not hit her head on the ceiling.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Solaomoni Ilzzetrum," it was rare for her mother to call her by the whole name, Sol felt a chill down her spine, gulping silently as she fiddled with her fingers. "You will stay here, helping ᛕᚨᛕ on the forge and train your younger siblings, you are prohibited from going out ever again."

ㅤㅤㅤSol's shiny yellow eyes went wide. No, that wasn't fair, she thought, that wasn't fair at all.

ㅤㅤㅤ"But━" she tried to reason with ᛗᚨ, but the bigger fairy didn't let her speak.

ㅤㅤㅤ"You are not a Warrior of Eriynx anymore." the wood sounds that came out of ᛗᚨ as she reached for Solaomoni's crown on one of her walls were almost agonizing for the sun fairy, who could only stare in disbelief as she easily turned the crown into nothing by squeezing it slightly with her right palm. "I take that position from you, and I will not give it back. This is not up for discussion."

ㅤㅤㅤ"Why?" Solaomoni refused to cry, it would be too embarrassing, but she couldn't stop her voice from trembling.

ㅤㅤㅤ"You won't learn otherwise, Sol." the sun fairy ignored ᛗᚨ's soft voice as she reached out for her face, frowning as Solaomoni flinched away from her touch. "You won't listen to us, no matter what we say to you. I'm only doing this for your own safety. You must stay here, in Eriynx, with your family━ with me, where it is safe."

ㅤㅤㅤSafe.

ㅤㅤㅤShe had heard that word many, many times. It never impressed her enough to make her resist her curiosity about humans; the word meant nothing. Not anymore, now it made Sol angry. It was upsetting that she had no control over her life━ she wanted to scream at her mother, to call her names in the human language that she knew ᛗᚨ wouldn't understand.

ㅤㅤㅤShe didn't do that.

ㅤㅤㅤBut she didn't restrain herself from doing something.

ㅤㅤㅤSomething seemed to snap inside her head, a realization: Solaomoni didn't have any freedom inside her own home. Rules and more rules kept her from doing anything she wanted to do, the things that she only had the pleasure to try when she was far from Eriynx, far from her parents and older siblings, and far from everything. Sol felt like she was going crazy inside Eriynx━ she hadn't thought of it before, but the sun fairy enjoyed staying outside much more than staying with her family, and that was completely wrong━ it sounded wrong, and so it must be.

ㅤㅤㅤHuffing━ Sol was so angry that it was almost possible to see smoke coming out of her nose and ears━ she bit the inside of her cheeks to try and calm herself down and even forced her hands into fists until her nails were almost carving holes in her palms, but it wasn't enough.

ㅤㅤㅤ"I would rather die than rot in Eriynx by your side." Solaomoni's mouth was burning━ she didn't know if there was actually fire in her throat because of all the anger she was feeling, or if ᛗᚨ had done that as a punishment━ it couldn't be because she had the immense urge to cry, no, Solaomoni Ilzzetrum was fearless, she never cried, it couldn't be it. Even when her voice sounded weak, she assured herself that it was not because she wanted to cry, it was not. She didn't stay to find out why her throat burned so much, however, Sol stomped away in fury as soon as ᛗᚨ's eyes went wide in shock.

ㅤㅤㅤShe hated herself for it, but, for a moment, Sol let herself feel proud for standing up for herself like that.

ㅤㅤㅤ
ㅤㅤㅤ

ㅤㅤㅤ𝐀𝐒 𝐌𝐔𝐂𝐇 𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐃 𝐎𝐅 𝐈𝐓, Solaomoni's first act of rebellion in Eriynx did not change her fate as a babysitter to her brothers and as ᛕᚨᛕ's apprentice on the forge, as expected, it only made her mother mad enough to avoid the sun fairy for a long time.

ㅤㅤㅤIt was infuriating to see her other siblings going out to freedom while she wasn't even able to sneak out of Eryinx since her father━ ᛕᚨᛕ, also the blacksmith━ started following her around wherever she went. It was almost like Owl used to do, but Solaomoni didn't enjoy it as she did with her brother, who was the best company in the world compared to ᛕᚨᛕ.

ㅤㅤㅤIt was also infuriating to train her younger siblings━ she was far from being hot-headed, but losing her position as a Warrior made her so incredibly upset that every time that she remembered the fact, she became angry. Sol could never forget the fact, it haunted her, even in her dreams. She slept angry, woke up angry, helped her father angrily, trained her twenty younger siblings angrily, and ignored ᛗᚨ and Owl with anger.

ㅤㅤㅤ"How do I hold the sword again?" Untam, one of her younger brothers, moved the wooden sword━ carved from a cherry tree, as most things in Eryinx were━ from hand to hand, unsure of the way he was supposed to wield it. He had made the question more than twenty-two times now.

ㅤㅤㅤ"You━" Sol bit the inside of her cheek to restrain herself from cursing in front of the kids, then smiled, taking a deep breath to calm herself down. "Just hold it like this." she demonstrated by taking his false sword━ a bit too aggressively━ from him to hold it the right way, almost shoving her hand onto Umtam's face to show him from close so he would know what to do.

ㅤㅤㅤThe boy nodded and took the wooden sword back, struggling with it before he managed to hold it the way Solaomoni had told him to.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Solaomoni!" ᛕᚨᛕ called from the door of his forge, waving to call her attention. "Come here for a second, I need to ask you something."

ㅤㅤㅤHuffing, she obeyed him, rolling her eyes as she flew to the forge. The inside of the forge was hot because of the furnace by the corner. Because of the fire, the forge was the only house not made of wood, but bricks instead. The lack of vines and mushrooms growing around made the forge look rather empty, with only a table with all of ᛕᚨᛕ's tools and another table to put the finished weapons, which had multiple shelves underneath━ Solaomoni did not know what ᛕᚨᛕ placed in those. Beside the furnace, placed on the back wall, was a cauldron with water and multiple cloths hung on the brick wall, all stained with different materials.

ㅤㅤㅤ"ᛕᚨᛕ? Where are you?" Solaomoni called for the man, looking around in confusion. She could feel his aura and hear the fluttering of his wings━ which were different from her siblings, looking more like dragonfly wings rather than a butterfly's, like the rest of her family, and that made it easier to recognize him━, but not see him anywhere.

ㅤㅤㅤ"I'm in the library!" his voice was a bit distant, Sol felt proud of herself for managing to hear his wings and feel his aura from so far away.

ㅤㅤㅤSolaomoni flew up until she was almost reaching the ceiling, then pulled on a specific brick to open the secret door to the library━ very few Eryinxinians knew of its existence, only Sol, ᛕᚨᛕ, Luczianao and Sani (and, at some point, Aspen Yudith) knew of it, it was their little hideout, where they could be at peace without the constant noise from the fairies as they did their respective jobs or the screams from their younger siblings.

ㅤㅤㅤLuczianao was found sitting by the corner reading a book about types of poison, while ᛕᚨᛕ flew around the two bookcases, both full of books, in search of a specific one that he seemingly couldn't find by the frown and impatient pout on his face. His characteristic goggles hung around his neck, and one of the brown lenses was broken.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Did you take my book?" he didn't look at her as he spoke, continuously flying around the same areas to check for the damn book again and again.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Which one?" Sol raised her brow as she crossed her arms, trying to remember if she took any books from there.

ㅤㅤㅤ"The one about magic bombs." oh. She did take that one.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Oh, yes, I forgot to return it. I'm sorry." Solaomoni scratched the back of her neck as her eyes wandered to the floor, a little embarrassed that she had forgotten to put the book back in place.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Why would you need a book about magic bombs?" the moon fairy looked away from her book, raising a brow at the sun fairy as she blinked her tired shiny white eyes in slow motion.

ㅤㅤㅤSol couldn't explain why, it would get her in trouble. She was using the magic bombs as a way of getting her younger brothers, Estria and Camillo, to stop eating the ᛒᚩᛚᛁᚾᚹᚩ ᛞᛖ ᚳᚹᚢ she had tried to make more than once while they were out to cool down a bit before she ate them.

ㅤㅤㅤ"It's none of your business." Solaomoni muttered, unable to stop her own words from escaping her mouth, and immediately winced as ᛕᚨᛕ and Luczianao stared wide-eyed at the younger fairy. She didn't have time to apologize as her father frowned and flew to her at high speed.

ㅤㅤㅤShe had expected him to scold her for talking in such a manner to her elders, maybe pull on her left ear until it became red and tell ᛗᚨ the situation in exaggerated details so she would add more chores for her to do as punishment. Instead, ᛕᚨᛕ's hand rested on her shoulder, soft and reassuring, as most of his actions were.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Izzy," that damn nickname again━ it never failed to make her soft. "is something going on? First, you disobey us, gravely, and now this. What is wrong, my dear?"

ㅤㅤㅤ"Nothing is wrong." Solaomoni was denied immediately. It wasn't a lie, she told herself, it was just that all ᛗᚨ's orders to keep her in Eriynx━ far from the freedom she thought she had outside━ were incredibly unfair. Sol knew her father would only agree with the matriarch of Eriynx, and she was scared that it would sound silly if she said it out loud, so she said nothing. Solaomoni only ignored the way the back of her throat burned consistently, she tried to force the feeling away by gulping twice, but it was still there, stuck in her throat, choking her and making it hard for her to speak up. It wasn't tears; she was sure of it ━so she thought━. Solaomoni didn't cry. Because she was fearless, and fearless people didn't cry, and so she wouldn't.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Are you sure?" it was Luczianao who worried this time, her sister frowned as she carefully placed the book about poisons by her side.

ㅤㅤㅤSolaomoni took a second to open her mouth, she waited for her throat to stop burning before she spoke anything, too scared to let out whatever was choking her so quietly.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Yes, I am sure." her harsh tone wasn't purposeful, and Sol felt bad for a moment, but the guilt went away once Luczianao's frown went from worried to angry, she lowered her eyebrows in a dark expression. The sun fairy chose to ignore her glare, turning to leave after she was sure the conversation was over.

ㅤㅤㅤ
ㅤㅤㅤ

ㅤㅤㅤ𝐀 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐍𝐎 𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃. Solaomoni was still helping her father in the forge and training her younger siblings, and she was still easily angered.

ㅤㅤㅤAnd after ᛗᚨ said nothing about giving her Warrior position back, Sol wondered if she ever would ━had she angered the matriarch that much?━. Sol lost hope, slowly, and her anger became sadness; suddenly she didn't get mad at everything anymore.

ㅤㅤㅤThat was it. That was the end of Solaomoni Ilzzetrum's freedom━ if she ever had any, that is. If it could so easily be taken away from her, was it even freedom? Such a fragile little thing, Sol thought.

ㅤㅤㅤShe didn't want to think of the subject for too long, it brought back that uncomfortable feeling in her throat ━the burning and aching━ and she hated it.

ㅤㅤㅤIf that was how it ended, then she would have to let go of it. Let go of the curiosity she had. That would be a bit hard.

ㅤㅤㅤIn the morning, when her magic was the strongest because of the light, she had sneaked out from Eriynx with an invisibility potion she had stolen from Sani ━she would deal with her sibling's anger later, Sol didn't worry about it too much since Sani was very calm and forgiving, which is why she had specifically stolen the potion from them━.

ㅤㅤㅤIt wasn't until she had arrived at Camelot that Sol realized: she didn't know how to say goodbye to a wall.

hello! I've spent almost two weeks writing this chapter, I only used the first version as a base and wrote it from scratch, so it took some time, sorry for the wait!

in my first version of the chapters I didn't write any author's notes, so this is a bit new for me, sorry if I'm a little awkward :']

I'm trying to make the chapters longer and a bit more interesting, I regret not developing solamon's relationship with her family more and I think I could do much better regarding the way they're described. when I first wrote this story I focused too much on sol's relationship with douxie and forgot to develop her character, so I'm working to show more of her personality here.

I hope you guys like the new version, and, if you're new here, I hope you enjoy this fic as much as I enjoy writing it :]

I hope you all have a great day/evening/night! ily ♡
