ㅤㅤㅤAS HISIRDOUX PLAYED his lute from the pile of books, Solamon was cleaning the floor with a broom as Merlin asked her to; she really wanted to search for Morgana instead, but the situation was really stressing her out, so Sol thought it was good that she was taking a break from that.

ㅤㅤㅤShe sighed and tried to relax her shoulders, but it seemed impossible to do so, Morgana and her possible plans of betrayal were always invading her mind.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Hey, are you okay? You seem stressed..." her friend asked from where he was sitting, pausing the song he played to pay attention to her.

ㅤㅤㅤ"I can't stop thinking of Morgana, she must be hiding somewhere, but I can't even get out of Camelot to search for her!" she threw the broom to the side of a wall angrily, watching as Hisirdoux sighed and found a more comfortable position where he sat.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Why don't you sit and relax a bit? You seem like you could use some of that. Come here, sit with me and listen to the master of all music play one of his creations!" he joked, smiling as he patted a place by his side for Solamon to take a sit.

ㅤㅤㅤThe fairy hesitated for a bit, but still walked to her friend and sat by his side, leaning her head onto his shoulder so she could relax for a bit. Hisirdoux didn't seem to mind, he continued playing his song, making chord corrections from time to time.

ㅤㅤㅤ"I like that song, what's it called?" she asked silently after some time, feeling Hisirdoux flinch as he wasn't expecting the sound of her voice to echo so close to his ear.

ㅤㅤㅤ"I didn't come up with a name yet. Couldn't find one that fits." he murmured, playing with the strings as the girl sighed and looked up, trying to help him find a name.

ㅤㅤㅤ"What do you think of "ል ዪዐነል ዕቿ ልጠጌዪዐነጎሁነ"?" she suggested before the boy looked at her in confusion, for a moment Solamon forgot that he couldn't speak Eriynxit, but she was quick to fix her mistake.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Oh, yes, sorry- I think in your language you would say "The Rose of Ambrosius", you know, like Merlin's name, since it's about magicians and all." she corrected herself, Hisirdoux smiled in response, nodding as he thought of the name for a moment before he started to play again.

ㅤㅤㅤAfter some minutes, Sol was indeed relaxing, it was hard not to with such calm music playing and a comfortable place to sit by her friend's side.

ㅤㅤㅤShe enjoyed when Hisirdoux played his lute, and the fact that this time he was playing for her brought her a feeling she liked a lot; warmth to her cheeks and happiness to her heart, Sol could almost feel a bunch of butterflies dance in her stomach, but it could be a reminder that her family was still waiting for her to come back for dinner.

ㅤㅤㅤIzzet grew to enjoy new things with time because of her brother Owl, he was the only rebellious and curious child in all Eriynx and probably made her have that characteristic traits on herself so he wouldn't feel alone anymore; she thanked him for it at that moment, or else the new feeling would scare her out.

ㅤㅤㅤ

ㅤㅤㅤSol woke up at peace, even after she slept sitting on the floor. The cherry tree with a bunch of flowers around it's trunk by her side made her calm as she stood up to check if she had all of her equipment before looking around at the trolls, all lying down on the grass - Merlin told her that they didn't need to sleep, it was a little weird imagining the trolls staring at her as she slept -; it wasn't shocking that they were all still resting, Solamon was used to waking up very soon.

ㅤㅤㅤIt had been only a day since Sol's decision of training Claire, but in their first training session Claire ended up getting a lot of bruises all over her arms and legs; Solamon did warn her she wasn't going to be gentle and she agreed to it, so it wasn't the fairy's fault, but it still gave Claire some extra time to recover until their next session.

ㅤㅤㅤShe discovered quickly that Hisirdoux was not there, he stayed in Arcadia to protect the people there, which made Sol a little sad, but relieved that she didn't have to face him at the moment; the poor fairy didn't know if she was ready to do that.

ㅤㅤㅤThe calming sounds of the birds chirping all around the forest was enough to make her think of Eriynx, where the birds visited everyday to feed them new seeds of plants they used later on as protection for the fence or resource. Even though Lupin's death and the fairies participation on the war was not her fault, it was still Solamon's responsibility to protect her younger siblings while the other half of her family was being used as Morgana's puppets and she failed to do that.

ㅤㅤㅤShe still had something to blame herself for.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Hey, it's Solamon, right? Can you help me out with something?" she heard someone say, taking her out of her deep thoughts. Sol turned to the voice, watching as the trollhunter scratched the back of his neck uncertainly, as if scared of her answer - he saw the harsh way Solamon trained his girlfriend and judged the fairy as not so friendly -.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Depends. What is it?" she crossed her arms, raising her chin to at least look a little higher in comparison to the big half troll.

ㅤㅤㅤ"I'm having trouble trying to hunt something that we can eat, our socks are almost gone and I have to compensate it so we have enough for everyone." he explained, pointing to the places he tried to set up traps for the wild animals that lived in the woods.

ㅤㅤㅤSol didn't understand why was he doing that so early in the morning instead of the night before that, when it was still dark and the animals would feel safer to come out. She pitied the poor boy, he mustn't know how to hunt properly since all the traps were very visible and too close to where they were camping.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Oh. Well, to start, you can't have them so close to each other, it won't work this way." she tried to ignore the other problems his traps had, pitying the boy too much to make him more embarrassed of his poor hunting skills.

ㅤㅤㅤ
ㅤㅤㅤ

ㅤㅤㅤSol could say she was proud of the boy after teaching him the proper way of hunting, he had gotten a lot better. She was lucky he wasn't as curious as his girlfriend, who kept asking her questions about Eriynx as they trained the night before.

ㅤㅤㅤAfter they served the trolls with wild animals they could catch, Merlin guided them to keep walking, they still had a long way to go.

ㅤㅤㅤThe trolls seemed to get tired very quickly, or they were just faking that to take longer to get to the place Merlin told her they were going; to find a headstone in New Jersey, where they could live safely.

ㅤㅤㅤAs they walked, Jim told her part of the story of how they ended up there, she wasn't surprised to hear that Morgana and Gunmar were the reason of the chaos that erupted in their old home, though she didn't believe the fact that Jim and his human friends were the ones to destroy them at first.

ㅤㅤㅤThey stopped shortly in a safe forest after Merlin and Jim checked their surroundings closely, it was training time for Claire and Sol.

ㅤㅤㅤThis time, the girl was careful with her questions as she tried punching Sol like she was asked to, she didn't want to get her ass beaten like the day before. Most of the questions she asked were about her old home, how was it to have wings - to which Sol couldn't respond, since most of her life she lived without them, so she couldn't remember the feeling - or just basic questions of her language.

ㅤㅤㅤAs she walked around the camp to search for the crow, Merlin approached the girl, clearing his throat before he said anything.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Do you need help? if you're searching for your familiar, I'm pretty sure I saw him with the trolls over there." he tried to start a conversation, but Solamon didn't try to get along with him, only walking away in the direction he was pointing. The old wizard sighed at his failed attempt, but decided not to give up just yet.

ㅤㅤㅤThe fairy saw her familiar trying to escape the troll's black hands as they tried to eat him, she was quick to save the bird before frowning at the bigger creatures surrounding herself. The one trying to eat her familiar was entirely black with big blue eyes and a pig looking nose.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Woah, woah, okay- didn't your lider teach you any manners?" she crossed her arms as the trolls flinched at her irritated tone.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Sorry, smells good." the troll explained, pointing at the crow. Sol sniffed him curiously, but didn't like the putrid smell of trash a bit.

ㅤㅤㅤ"You trolls have a weird taste." the girl criticized as another troll with big horns approached, showing curiosity.

ㅤㅤㅤ"What does fairy eat?" it asked, sitting around the bonfire with another skinny troll with pink skin and green eyes.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Mostly meat and bones, but I do like salad a lot." she explained, walking around the fire before sitting in front of it.

ㅤㅤㅤ"You eat raw meat?" Jim asked as he approached the bonfire with Claire by his side, they both sat by the skinny pink troll's side.

ㅤㅤㅤ"What? No! We used to have a stove my የልየ made to cook the meat, we usually sat outside to eat the food from there." she explained, confused on why that was his first thought.

ㅤㅤㅤ"What kinds of seasoning did you use?" he seemed interested in the topic, Solamon wondered if he liked to cook.

ㅤㅤㅤ"All types of seasoning, most of them used to come from our own plantations, like paprika, oregano, cumin, bay leaf..." she listed, watching closely as more trolls gathered around to know more about fairies; Izzet thought it was awesome to get to talk about her family, it was the topic she most knew of.

ㅤㅤㅤAnd they didn't talk only about food, the conversation extended to the fairies costumes and how similar they were to the human's. At some point, the girl started to tell stories about what happened after her village was destroyed - she spared the details about that, not being comfortable enough to share that part -. Standing up on a branch the trolls where using as a seat, she smiled and jumped around as she told her history.

ㅤㅤㅤ"...And then she found me with her gold in hands!" the trolls gasped as Solamon told them about the time she had stolen a witch.

ㅤㅤㅤ"She raised her staff and started attacking me right away! I knew I couldn't overpower her magically, so I did it physically, the witch wasn't as athletic as I am." she smiled proudly, doing a hero pose before one troll's comment made her confidence downgrade.

ㅤㅤㅤ"How did you do that?" it asked, amazed by her story.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Uhh... well..." that wasn't something that Solamon was extremely proud of, she remembered very clearly how she was cowardly dodging her attacks until the witch hit a chain that was holding a shelf up with one of her spells, making all of the contents that were up in the shelf fall on her. The witch stumbled from the impact and fell inside her own cauldron, which burned her to death with it's boiling liquid.

ㅤㅤㅤ"...It was pretty horrific, I don't think you actually want to know how I did it." she lied. Solamon wasn't a very good liar, but she managed to make the trolls believe her.

ㅤㅤㅤJust as she was about to continue telling how she gathered all the things that she had in hand right at that moment, Merlin appeared from the forest and looked around in surprise at how much attention the fairy was gaining from the trolls.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Okay, I think this is enough storytelling. We should be resting now, it's late." he spoke, gaining a pout from the girl, who sighed before getting down from the branch. All the trolls sighed along with her, preparing themselves around the firepit to rest a little before it was time to walk again.

ㅤㅤㅤThe old wizard sat on the ground and threw some crystals he gathered on the grass, gaining Sol's attention from the amount of jewels there. She hesitantly sat by his side, taking a big citrine in her hands to compare it to the small one in her ring; both of them shared the same energy in them, made specifically to preserve the sun's light. That's probably why she felt a strong connection to the big jewel in her hands.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Do you like it? You can keep it to yourself if you want." the old man murmured, not looking at the girl as he spoke; she noticed how he did that a lot, always with regret marked in his wrinkles.

ㅤㅤㅤSol pitied the old man, as much as she insisted on prohibiting herself to do so. Just like her, he blamed himself for the past. She wondered if it was a wizard's trait they all shared.

ㅤㅤㅤ"No, thank you." speaking in a soft voice, she put the citrine back in place and walked away, sighing to herself.
