ㅤㅤㅤHOURS AFTER THE event, Sol could not get up from the floor. She remained crying on the cold stone ground, trying to reach the place in her back where her wings where supposed to be; she could only find small remnants of what were once sunlight made wings, and that broke her heart into pieces.

ㅤㅤㅤHer people had the right to fight against the humans of Camelot, yet she couldn't understand why would they ask for Gunmar's help for that. All her scars were made by a fight she had with that brute, they all knew that.

ㅤㅤㅤThe sound of the big doors opening made her flinch, Sol automatically pushed herself as fast as she could to the wall and kept herself against it. The footsteps were getting even louder, she didn't dare to look.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Hey..." oh, she knew that voice. She knew it well. Finally, the girl looked up, sighing in relief as Hisirdoux's gentle hazel eyes and Archibald's curious green eyes looked down at her.

ㅤㅤㅤ"God... I am so sorry that happened to you, it must hurt so much..." he whispered out to her, carefully involving the young fairy in a hug as she let the tears fall once more. Archie found a way to lay comfortably on Sol's lap, staying there while she pet him.

ㅤㅤㅤIt didn't take long for her to run out of tears, she had already cried all day, pitying herself for her wings.

ㅤㅤㅤ"If there's anything I can do for you right now, you can just ask me." he whispered once more, as if scared he would startle the girl.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Just your company is enough..." she sighed once more, hugging Archie close to herself as he purred.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Appearently Morgana ran away two days ago, Merlin told me she created some monsters and called them "changelings", they can disguise themselves as humans, the changeling was the one who put all those bombs around Camelot. She is helping Gunmar to destroy Camelot." she frowned; it did made sense, that's why she didn't found the woman anywhere, were they covering her disappearance? Did anyone even noticed she was gone?

ㅤㅤㅤ"Did he say anything else? What the king said about my family, about them joining Gunmar to free me and all, it's probably a lie." the girl frowned, wondering if the king was saying that as an excuse to discount the anger of a betrayal in something that he wouldn't feel guilty for hurting.

ㅤㅤㅤ"What do you mean?" Hisirdoux stopped patting her back as she said that, he seemed curious about what she had said just now.

ㅤㅤㅤ"My people are peaceful, we have never started a war and always avoided being part of one. Gunmar is our enemy, why would we join him in a war against humans? It doesn't make any sense!" she explained to the boy, who only frowned and nodded, but then sighed.

ㅤㅤㅤ"But Merlin said he saw the fairies too..." the boy shrugged.

ㅤㅤㅤ"I don't trust what he says either..." Solamon murmured as she stared at the floor; she became salty towards the old man after he did not try to help her while she was stuck underneath that brute human.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Merlin asked me to tell you he's sorry..." the boy separated himself from the hug to look her in the face while he spoke.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Why didn't he came here and told me that himself?" she huffed in anger, staring Hisirdoux in the eyes as he tried to find the best way to explain the situation.

ㅤㅤㅤ"He had to fix Camelot's walls and he told me he was going with the king to see the trolls to ask for their help." Sol wouldn't have believed him if he hadn't said that in such a worried tone. "I... wasn't supposed to tell you this, but he also said he didn't have the courage to face you right now..."

ㅤㅤㅤIzzet felt the frown in her face fade for a moment, though she refused to feel bad for the old man, quickly clearing her throat to pretend she didn't hear that.

ㅤㅤㅤ"I really don't want to think on that right now... all I want is peace and a piece of that blueberry pie from before..." the fairy caressed Archie's left ear as he snored, sleeping peacefully in her lap.

ㅤㅤㅤ"I knew I should have brought you something to eat- I'll go get it, just-" Hisirdoux started to get up to leave the room, but the girl pulled him back to where he was, frowning once more.

ㅤㅤㅤ"No! Don't leave yet..." for some reason, she felt silly for being so scared of being left alone, even for a minute or two. The apprentice seemed confused; just second ago she was asking for the blueberry pie, wasn't she?

ㅤㅤㅤ"You're weird." he concludes, giggling to himself as Solamon tilted her head to the side and raised an eyebrow.

ㅤㅤㅤShe was silent for a minute, trying to figure out what that meant, but she gave up quickly, only shrugging in response.

ㅤㅤㅤ"I do not know what that word means."

ㅤㅤㅤ"...Wait, are you serious?" he raised his eyebrows in shock, though a simple smile was still present in his face.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Yes...? How am I supposed to know every single word that humans use? All I learned from your language comes from the books የልየ has in his big library, it's impossible to include all human words there!" she explained, looking away in embarrassment for not knowing that simple word.

ㅤㅤㅤ"It's okay for you to not know, it's not a big deal, don't worry." Sol's friend put his hand in her shoulder to comfort her a little, smiling at her.

ㅤㅤㅤThe calm moments in her life where rare, but she always had them when Hisirdoux was there, it made the life in Camelot more bearable. Sol didn't really like to acknowledge that, but the moment she suffered in Arthur's hands made her remember why she was there in the first place; Solamon was nothing but a prisoner. With that reminder, the fairy had many thoughts all day long, one of them got stuck in her mind until she was convinced that's what she wanted to do.

ㅤㅤㅤThe ginger hated the way that his eyes remembered her of Merlin, looking down at her with slight pity. And still, she couldn't stop staring at them, Hisirdoux had something in him that the fairy couldn't seem to figure out, like a puzzle she enjoyed and hated at the same time. It was infuriating. In a good way, but still.

ㅤㅤㅤApparently Hisirdoux felt almost the same as she did, he didn't look away, not even for a moment. Solamon felt her face feel hot when he started getting closer, she didn't know what the boy was doing and didn't want to discover, only turning her face the other way to prevent him from doing whatever he was trying to do.

ㅤㅤㅤ"I'm going to run away." those were the words she choose to keep him from getting any closer.

ㅤㅤㅤ"...What?" Hisirdoux frowned, not understanding what she had said all of a sudden; maybe he got the wrong timing? Probably. He cleared his throat in embarassment while scratching the back of his own neck.

ㅤㅤㅤ"I can't stay here any longer, my life is already in danger and so is my family's. If I'm the reason they're going to the war, I can simply go back home and prevent them from participating, it'll make it a lot easier for you humans to win." she explained, moving her hands around as she spoke. It really hurt for Hisirdoux to be degraded as only a human, not a friend.

ㅤㅤㅤ"I... no, you can't just- what would Merlin think of that?" Hisirdoux tried to think of any excuse to try and take that idea out of her head; she could be putting herself in big danger by running away just like that. Besides, they were friends, and there was a great possibility that they would never see each other again after that.

ㅤㅤㅤ"I couldn't care less about Merlin!" that was half a lie, Solamon still cared, though she was very angry at the old man for the situation that happened hours before. "All I really need is my family to be safe, Hisirdoux. I'm not going to change my mind now."

ㅤㅤㅤThe boy sighed, then took Archie in his arms and stood up.

ㅤㅤㅤ"I guess you should prepare to leave then, if you wait until morning it'll be too late." it was clear by his tone that he became sad and maybe even disappointed at her, Sol didn't like that. She stood up along with him and tried to speak, but he proceeded to talk as he walked out of the room.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Goodbye, it was nice to be your friend..." Hisirdoux had a way with words, Solamon felt brokenhearted with that simple phrase.
