DD - We need to talk Neil.

Neil nods.

He was about to get up but Avni held his hand tightly mumbling in her sleep. Her whispers were almost inaudible so Neil leaned closer to her face in order to listen what she is trying to convey.

Avni - He will come again.... ( shivering voice ) he...no....no......

Neil entwined their hands more tightly as a gesture of assurance that he is there with her, she's not alone. He placed a soft kiss on her temples removing all the scary thoughts and dreams that are disturbing her peaceful sleep.

DD - You sit beside her, she needs you. I will sit here. ( pointing towards the couch )

Neil nods.

DD - Actually, Ali have traced Arjun's location.

Riya - So, what are you waiting for DD. Let's go and catch him red handed.

Neil - It's not the right time Riya. We need to know who is helping him.

Riya - We can make him spill out the entire truth.

Neil - It's not that easy. He isn't afraid of anything or else he would have never entered this society. He freaking came to my home for harming Avni, he don't fear anyone that's why he dug his own grave. ( sternly )

DD - Neil, are you planning something ?

Neil - Arjun is a stranger so he can't enter this society as security guard can never allow entry of some unknown person in this society.

DD - That's what I am wondering. Should we confront the guard ?

Neil nodded.

Neil - How he escaped from jail ?

DD - Me and Ali are working on this matter. Hopefully we will get to know about this very soon.

Neil - Keep a check on him DD. We can't loose our target, keep a track of his each and every activity.

DD nodded.

Riya - Neil, Avni's condition have worsened after this incident. Have you think about her further treatment ?

Neil - I have talked to one of the best doctor in London. After closing Arjun's chapter, I am gonna take her to London for her treatment. I want my Avu back and I will do everything to bring her back.

DD - What about her family ? I mean, are you gonna tell them about her condition ?

Neil - No, right now I am taking decisions for Avni so I won't allow them come near her but in future when Avni will become capable enough to take her own decisions, she can reunite with them.

DD - Ali have got some clues so he wants to meet me after half an hour. Do you want to accompany Neil ?

Neil - I want to but Avni....

Riya - Neil, I am here, so don't worry about Avni. I will call you if she wakes up.

DD - I will message Ali to come here so that we can discuss everything before leaving.

Neil - DD, trap the mouse into the bill.

DD - I think we should welcome him in a grand way. What say ?

Neil - No, I want to have all the fun.

DD - Fine.

He stepped aside for making a phone call.

Neil - Before leaving, I have to make her eat something.

Riya - I will cook something for all of us.

She went to the kitchen.

DD - Everything is arranged Neil.

Neil nodded.

DD - Don't worry, we will expose her culprits.

Neil - The people who are responsible for my Avu's pain will be punished brutally DD. I am not gonna spare them.

DD nods.

After sometime

Riya came inside avneil's room and placed the food tray on the side table.

Riya - You and Avni eat here, me and DD will have our dinner in the living room. Avni will get scared if she spot any stranger in her room.

Neil nods while DD and Riya went to the living room.

Neil caressed Avni's cheeks while she stirred in her sleep.

Neil - Avu wake up baby. ( patting her head )

Avni opened her eyes slightly and started shivering in fear as her mind was trapping her into the mesh of her worst nightmare. She was imagining Arjun sitting beside her with an evil grin plastered on his face. He was about to touch her cheeks when she screamed in horror showing her helplessness, her eyes shed tears of hurt, her fragile body was suffocating her, evilness disguised as her mind wasn't leaving her and was playing flashbacks as if her screams and pains were the reason of it's happiness, the tenderness of her heart was scattered into broken pieces.

Neil was shattered after seeing her condition but compose himself. Avni was pushing him away from her as she was assuming him as Arjun but Neil held her tightly and wrapped her shivering body within himself. Avni was hitting him but winced in pain as her hands were already swelled due to her encounter with Arjun. Neil held her hands and kissed them smoothly, healing her wounds with his love.

Neil - Avu it's me your Neilu, I won't hurt you baby. ( softly )

Avni - A....a....Aahana...

Her words came to halt and she burst into pool of tears, Neil was crying with her, lending her his shoulder for pouring her grief, his heart for sharing her pain, his mind for erasing the negativity from her thoughts, his soul for healing her aching inner-self.

Avni - Aahana .... ( crying ) S.....sh....she...is....h....hurt..he...harmed .....h....her......

Neil joined his forehead with hers and positioned her in his lap whispering sweet nothings for soothing her.

Avni - He will....k....k...kill...me....

Avni slapped herself while Neil held her hand in gentle grip as she was already wounded badly.

Neil - Avu.... don't do this. ( crying ). No one will kill you, I am here with you. ( cups her face ).

Avni buried her face within his chest and sobbed harder while Neil was patting her head tenderly.

Avni - He...he...said that Aahana was a doll. Neilu Aahana wasn't a doll, she is my baby. I am right, you also know that she's my baby. Right ? ( pleading )

Neil nods positively while her lips wobbled up and she drowned into the trail of her conflicting thoughts.

Avni - She was in so much pain. ( crying ) She will hate me now.

Neil - No one will hate you Avu. No one.

He closed his eyes while his face was covered with tears.

Avni - Please bring my Aahana back. Please Neilu.... please.. I.....I...can't live without her....please. ( crying continuously )

Neil - Avu. ( broken voice )

He again hugged her and both were pouring their grieves within each other's embrace.

Neil - Everything will be fine.

Avni - Please bring her back. ( crying )

Neil was speechless, he can't refuse her and he needs to cooperate with her or else her condition will worsen  but at the same time he can't make any false promises to her.

Avni broke the hug and looked at him with begging look. Her face was red, eyes were red and puffy, her lips were trembling.

Avni - He...he... said that my baby is dead. He is wrong, wrong, wrong. He is wrong Neilu. I am not mad, I can feel my daughter. He was wrong Neilu. Please tell me he was wrong. Please. ( sobbing )

Neil - ( cupping her face ) My Avu isn't mad, she is very intelligent. He was lying and I will punish him Avu.

Avni - He will hurt you Neilu. ( shivering )

Neil - He won't, I promise.

Avni - You will bring Aahana back. Right ? You will bring her back. ( innocently )

Neil - I will bring her back but you have to get well soon so that she won't get sad after seeing her mother in pain. Will you do this for her ?

Avni nods and wipes her tears.

Avni - She was screaming Neil, she was in so much pain. Let's take her to doctor uncle, he will heal her Neilu.

Neil - I already admitted her in hospital.

Avni - She will be crying Neilu. ( welled up eyes )

Neil - She is strong Avu and doctor uncle said that we can't meet her until she recovers properly.

Avni - She is alone. ( sobbing )

Neil hugged her lovingly and patted her back.

Neil - She will be fine Avu and we will meet her soon.

Avni - Promise. ( weakly ).

Neil - Promise. Now let's eat something, my Avu is hungry.

Avni - Who will give milk to Aahana ?

Neil - Hospital staff will give her. Okay ? ( softly ).

Avni nodded.

Neil fed her food after convincing her and gave her medicines afterwards. Avni fell asleep after consuming medicines and Neil tucked her into the bed and kissed her forehead lovingly.

Neil - Don't worry Avu, everything will be fine. Just give me some time.

He went out and found DD, Ali and Riya sitting in the living room.

Ali - Neil how's Avni ?

Neil - She's fine now. Riya, I have given her medicines so she's sleeping. Just be with her.

Riya nods.

DD - Let's go Neil, we need to investigate alot of things.

DD, Ali and Neil left while Riya stayed with Avni.

Three of them went to the watchman who was guarding the society.

Neil - Raghu, I want to ask you something.

Raghu - Yes sir, how can I help you ?

Neil - An unknown man barged into my flat today and harmed my wife. Why you gave him permission to enter the society ? ( sternly )

Raghu - I am sorry sir but I wasn't guarding the society at that time. Today I have night shift, Subash was guarding the society in daytime.

Neil - Give me his address.

Raghu - Yes sir.

After penning down the address, the boys left from there.

After 20 minutes, they reached infront of a small rented room and knocked the door. The door flung open after few minutes revealing a dishevelled man who frowned instantly after seeing them.

Subash - Neil sir ?

Neil - I need to ask you something.

Subash - W...w...what ?

DD - Why are you stammering Subash ? Have you done something wrong ? ( smirks )

Subash - I haven't done anything wrong.

Ali - Really ? Then why are you stammering ?

The boys entered inside the room and closed the door. Subash looked afraid and they knew very well that he's hiding something.

Neil - So, did you enjoy your shift today ? Did you enjoy meeting new people ? ( smirks )

Subash - Sir, I didn't let any stranger enter the society.

Neil - But I didn't say that you let anyone in then why are you giving me explanations ? ( smirks )

He got up and punched Subash's face and threw him on the ground like a trash while his eyes were throwing draggers at the horrified man.

Neil - Tell me the truth or else ...

Subash - I am sorry sir. ( joining his hands ) That man wanted to go into your flat and when I stopped him, he offered me huge amount of money so I let him in.

Neil was about to punch him again but DD stopped him.

Ali - We have more important things to do Neil. Leave him and let's go from here before we miss our prey.

Neil nodded and they left from there.

Ali was driving to their next location.

DD - How he arranged money when he was in jail the entire time and their assets were sealed by government as their businesses were illegal ?

Neil - I think I know the answer but we need to find out everything before taking any action.

DD received a message and smirked after reading it.

Ali - What happened ?

DD - Our work is done.

Neil- Drive fast Ali our prey is waiting for our special hospitality.

Ali - Yes boss. ( mock salute )

Neil - I will make him regret everything he did with my Avu. It's my promise to myself and my Avu.
