Neil looks at Avni lovingly while she was busy with Aahana. He went towards her and sat beside her. He noticed how thin she have become,  her hairs have become short and were mismanaged as if someone have brutally tried to cut her hair.

He flinched as he assumed that Avni must have cut her hairs when she became mentally unstable. He caress her hairs gently while she looked at him with her big doe shaped eyes, battling her eyelashes continuously. Neil smiled and pulls her cheek tenderly while she pouts making him smile widely, he gently caressed her cheek and she smiled widely.

Avni placed the doll in her lap and looked at Neil. He smiled at her while she smiles back and forward her doll towards Neil as if indicating him to embrace it in his arms.

To say Neil was shocked would be an  understatement, the girl who don't allow anyone to hold her doll was giving this right to Neil. Neil's eyes turned glassy as Avni's innocent action depicted the amount of trust she have on him.

He gently took her doll and placed it in his lap, caressing her face gently. Avni smiled widely after seeing Neil's affection towards Aahana and claps her hands in happiness.

Avni - Neilu, Aahana is happy with you. ( innocently )

Neil - And I am happy with you both. ( smiles )

He extended his one arm towards Avni while he was holding Aahana in his other arm. Avni threw herself in his arm and he embraced her within his warmth. Avni kept her head on Neil's chest and wrapped her one hand around Neil's waist while her other hand was caressing Aahana who was lying on Neil's lap. She was admiring Aahana while Neil was admiring Avni. They both sat like that for a long time until and unless a door bell broke their silent yet peaceful moment.

Neil handover Aahana to Avni and went for opening the door.

Neil - Welcome Ms. Arora. ( smiles )

Ms. Arora - Thank you Mr. Khanna.  ( smiles )

Neil - Please come inside.

She came inside along with her team and Neil took them to Avni who was busy in playing with Aahana. Avni engulfed Aahana in her arms and clutched her tightly when she saw strangers. Neil understood her turmoil and went towards her.

He cupped her face and wiped her tears that were flowing down from her eyes as she can't bare new people around her.

Avni nods her hear negatively and wobble her lips in order to tell him that she is scared of them, Neil held her hand and rubs it gently.

Neil - They won't harm you. They are here cos I want new clothes for my Avu. ( smiles )

Avni frowns cutely at his statement.

Neil - Avu you like new clothes, right ?

Avni nods positively.

Neil - We will purchase clothes from them. ( pointing at the team of fashion designers )

Avni smiles widely.

Avni - We will buy clothes for Aahana as well ?

Neil - Yes, in evening we will go to mall and buy Aahana's clothes but now we should buy your clothes. Okay ? ( calmly )

Avni nods cutely. Neil caress her hairs and takes Aahana in his arms.

Neil - You need to try your new clothes. I will take care of Aahana. Okay.

Avni smiles at him.

The designers showed alot of new clothes to Avni while she became confused and looked at Neil who was sitting beside her with Aahana.

Neil - What happened ? ( softly )

Avni - I don't know about these dresses. ( innocently )

Neil - We should try something new. Right ?

Avni nods.

Neil - ( to designers ) I hope these dresses are comfortable.

Designer - Yes sir.

Neil picked up a blue coloured floral  maxi dress with boat shaped neck.

Neil - Try this Avu, you will look beautiful in this.

Avni took the dress and looked at him confusingly. He got to know that she don't know how to wear it.

Neil - ( to lady designer ) Can you help her in wearing this ?

Designer - Sure sir. ( smiles )

Neil - Go with her Avu, she will help you out.

Avni's eyes widened in fear and she clutched Neil's arm.

Avni - I don't want to go. I don't. ( tears rolling down from her eyes )

Neil - Avu, she won't harm you. ( cups her cheek )

Avni - No ....no... I don't... want to go ( crying )

Neil - Don't cry baba. ( wiping her tears ) I will help you. Okay ?

Avni nods positively.

Neil - Come with me.

He held Aahana in his arms and held Avni's hand. They both moved into the bedroom. Neil closed the door and placed Aahana on the bed, he kept cushions beside her and stood infront of Avni.

Neil was hesitating a bit but at the same time he knew that now he have to help her out as she won't trust anyone else. He undressed her while looking into her eyes and she smiled at him, he made her wear the maxi dress and then looked at her.

He smiled as she was looking uber cute in that dress. He took her towards the dressing table and pointed towards the mirror indicating her to look at herself. Avni kept her palms on her mouth and smiles widely.

Avni - Neilu it's beautiful. ( happily )

Neil - You look amazing Avu. ( pulling her cheeks )

Avni started taking rounds around Neil as she was enjoying her little moment. While spinning, she was about to fall but Neil held her from her waist protectively.

Neil - ( still in dip position ) What are you doing Avu ?

Avni - Thank you Neilu. ( smiles )

Neil made her stand up and kisses her forehead.

Neil - Are you happy ? ( cups her cheeks )

Avni - Very. ( in excitement )

She went to Aahana.

Avni - See, Aahana my new dress. ( smiling ). You liked this.

Neil - She loved this. ( holding her from shoulders ) Now come let's see more dresses.

Avni - But I don't want to remove this dress. ( pouts )

Neil chuckles.

Neil - Okay.

They both went out and chose more dresses for Avni. She was on cloud nine as she was getting excited after seeing so many colourful dresses.

As soon as designers team left, hair stylists came.

Avni looked at Neil in confusion.

Neil - My Avu's beautiful hairs needs proper cutting. That's why they are here. ( smiles )

Avni - They will cut my hairs. I don't want to loose my hairs Neilu. ( innocently )

Neil - They won't cut your all the hairs Avu. Don't worry, I am here with you.

The hair stylists gave her a hair wash and then gave her proper hair style. Neil was there with her all this while and she didn't fear anything as her Neilu was present with her.

After sometime, he showed mirror to Avni and she was dancing in joy. Neil was happy after seeing that magical spark in her eyes which reflects her inner peace and happiness.

Avni - Neilu when we will buy  Aahana's dresses ?

Neil - Take rest for sometime, after that we will go.

Avni - I want to go now. ( pouts )

Neil - I thought that I will cook poha for my Avu but ....

Avni - Poha ( excitedly ) I want poha, I want poha ( jumping )

Neil - I will go and cook for you.

Avni - Aahana is also hungry. What she will eat Neilu ?

Neil - She is a small baby Avu. She can't eat.

Avni - But she will be hungry.

Neil - I will bring milk for her.

Avni nods.

Neil - You go and play with her.

Avni ran towards bedroom while Neil went to kitchen and cooked poha for Avni, after that he heat milk for Aahana and fill it into the feeder which he brought earlier.

After preparing lunch, he went to their bedroom and saw that Avni was talking with Aahana.

Neil - Avu, here is your poha and Aahana's milk.

Avni - Firstly I will make her drink the milk then I will eat.

Neil sighed and gave her feeder.

She was trying to feed Aahana but she wasn't consuming the milk and this brought tears into Avni's eyes. Neil looked at her helplessly.

Neil - Avu, I will make her drink the milk.

Avni - She's not having milk. ( glassy eyes )

Neil - Come with me.

He held Aahana in his arms and took her to the balcony while Avni followed them.

Neil - See the view is so mesmerising. ( smiles )

Avni smiles a bit.

Neil - Now, we will make a deal.

Avni - Deal. ( puppy face )

Neil - You will close your eyes and count till ten. After that you will open your eyes and Aahana will drink the whole milk.

Avni - Really. ( battling her eyelashes )

Neil - Yes. ( smiles )

Avni closed her eyes and started counting.

Neil emptied the entire feeder into the  flower pot kept there. After sometime, Avni opened her eyes and smiles when she saw the empty feeder.

Avni took Aahana in her arms and kisses her cheeks.

Avni - My good baby. ( hugs her )

Neil - Avu, let's go and eat poha. I am hungry. ( puppy face )

Avni - Okay. ( smiles )

They both went inside and Neil made her eat the poha while she was talking about random topics that he was listening keenly though most of her talks were meaningless but for Neil, her each and every word is precious.

After their lunch, Avni again started insisting him regarding the shopping.

Avni - Neilu, let's go and buy dresses for Aahana. Please. ( pouts )

Neil - Okay. Let's go.

He held her hand while she was holding Aahana in her arms. They both went out of the house and drove towards the shopping mall in Neil's car. Avni was enjoying her ride while looking out. Neil on the other side was satisfied with his small happy world.

After reaching the mall, they went inside toy shop.

Neil - ( to sales girl ) We want dress for this doll. ( he spoke slowly so that Avni can't hear him )

Sales girl - But sir...

Neil - Listen, I am ready to pay the desirable amount. You just arrange some clothes and we will be purchasing toys till then I want some dresses for this doll.

Sales girl - Okay sir 

She left.

Neil - Avu, they are bringing dresses for Aahana. Till then let's buy some toys for her.

Avni - Really. ( smiles )

Neil - Yes, come let's go.

Avni was purchasing toys for Aahana while Neil was helping her.

Some people present there were giving a weird look to Avni, Neil saw this and held Avni from her waist protectively.

Lady - Is she mad ?

She said this to another lady who was present there.

Neil just glared at them which was enough for them to understand the intensity of his anger so they left the place. Neil held Avni all this while.

After sometime, sales girl brought some dresses for Aahana and Neil purchased all the dresses for her.

After their shopping, they went inside ice cream parlour as Avni wanted to eat ice cream.

Here also, people were giving weird looks to avneil but both didn't cared about anything. Avni was lost in her world of happiness while Neil was lost in Avni.

Avni's mouth was smeared into ice cream. Neil wiped her mouth with the tissue paper without caring about the murmurings of the people.

Avni - Neilu why everyone is staring me ? ( fearful )

Neil - Cos you are the best and people always admires the best. ( smiles )

Avni - Really ?

Neil nods.

Avni smiles at his statement.

Neil held her hand and pulled her out of the parlour royally ignoring all the weird looks of the people present there.
