Your beautiful neon lips attract me.

Almost as much, as the stunning look you had in your eyes when you attacked me.

Through your brown eyes, I saw myself.

Merely looking back at my own reflection, I felt hurt.

You attacked me, using your beautiful weapons of war,

words of false hope, that played truths' part.

Deceiving, they were, but you were the best at that.

Your words were bait, & I was foolish enough to have ate.

You tailored everything to my taste, before I knew it, you already knew how I behaved.

My every move you had already anticipated.

But, you forgot,

I was the one who waited, but at the end, you left me tainted.

I was as absorbed as a sponge, and it wasn't very fun.

You kept on luring me on. 

Dumb, was I.

I went along.

You kept to yourself about what was really going on.

And left me in the dark, only following the neon glow that illuminated from your lips,

& that warm alluring aura, I sensed among all this.

Aimlessly, following you like a kid on a field trip.

You were my painkiller, yet you caused all the pain.

You kept me sane, but drove me insane.

Love was your special game,

a specialty you kept in secret.

Now I understand, why you didn't want to reveal it,

otherwise, it would have been your greatest weakness,

the fact that, I would've saw through your specially tailored lies.

This was the kind of love that hurts like knives,

yet I've already been stabbed by the same blade, countless of times,

but I never learn.

I just kept on yearning for you.

I thought we were the destined to,

but I now know,

you were both the poison & the cure, too.
