I wanted to see them grow,

I wanted to see the sunrise with my husband,

we'd be staring at each other's tired eyes,

smiling like fools, remembering our sweet memories in my mind.

But in this world full of injustice & crimes,

I will be the sacrifice.

Take me, take my life,

but leave my family, so that they may just cry.

No need to bring them with me,

they need not die.

Closing my eyes,

embracing my self for the knife.

A sharp pain. So swift & precise.

Stabbing me left & right.

In a pool of my own blood,

red like wine,

the killer smiles,

he just smiles.

He finds joy in taking other innocent lives.

I crawl on our stained floors,

I crawl towards the closest door,

but it's pointless.

I can't move anymore.

I'll die as a sacrifice.

Such a wise exchange,

to spare my family's life.

Emotional pain fades, and their tears will soon dry.

So they'll be all right.

I think I remember the killer's smile.

Oh, yes.

He's been watching me for quite some time.
