Grow like a plant, 

you might even bend & break.

Grow like a plant,

people love to pluck and take.

Society never really was a person, 

but just a group of people allowing this to worsen.

They put us in pretty flower pots; each has their very own spot.

They don't allow our roots to intertwine,

they say, 

"that's just a big waste of time."

Just separate yourselves from others,

now that's fine.

But, 

they don't allow me to ask them,

why?"

Growing in our own little flower pots,

if one of them break, 

then someone has just lost their spot.

What happened to those times,

when we would grow on un-toiled soils, 

plant by plant, 

we'd bloom together and last forever.

Is it wrong to ask, 

"why?"

Is it wrong to question what happened to those times?

We were all different, but our roots once intertwined.
