Pachai Kiligal....

Episode 22...

The atmosphere in the hospital room was filled with joy and relief. Malini rested with her newborn son in her arms, surrounded by her family. Everyone was taking turns holding the baby, their hearts brimming with love. Hussain sat beside her, his eyes shining with pride and affection, never leaving the baby for a moment. Zaara, in her playful way, tiptoed around, curious but cautious, while Shreya and Keerthana looked at her with soft smiles.

Soon, Surya arrived, his face lit with happiness as he saw his daughter and his grandson. But even before looking at the newborn, he rushed to Malini's side, his concern as a father evident. He gently kissed her forehead and asked, 'Thangam, epdi irukka pain edhavudhu irukka?'

Malini smiled at him. 'nalla iruken pa, light ah dhan irukku'

Only then did Surya turn his attention to the tiny bundle wrapped in soft blankets. His breath caught for a moment as he gazed at his grandson. 'Naa first uh first Ajay en kaila vangunapo epdi irundhano, apdiye irukan' Surya said, his voice thick with emotion. He carefully lifted the baby, cradling him with the utmost care, as if holding a memory from years ago.

Ajay stood beside him, overwhelmed by his father's words. 'Nijamava pa'

Surya nodded, smiling at Ajay. 'nijama da andha kannula irundhu expression varaikum apdiye unna madhiri irukan, enaku enamo unnaye thirupi kaila kolandhaiya thookuna madhiri irukku'

Ajay's eyes misted, his heart swelling. Shreya stood close, her hand resting on his arm, offering silent support. Malini and Hussain exchanged a look, filled with warmth and happiness. The room was a reflection of family-every gesture, every smile, a celebration of new life.

As they savored the moment, Surya's eyes wandered to the door and saw a small baby in Keerthana's lap, where a nurse passed by, followed by Abi, who was giving instructions. He then noticed a man standing next to her. Curiosity sparked within him, and turning to Shreya, he asked, 'Shreya andha kolandha yaru ma? Keerthana madiyila'

Shreya smiled. 'Nila mama, Abi oda ponnu'

Surya's eyes widened slightly. 'Abi ku ponna?'

'Ama mama' Shreya nodded. 'She's grown up beautifully, mama. Adho anga Abi pakathula nikuraru la avaru dhan Abi oda veetukarar'

Surya, intrigued and impressed, decided to meet Abi and her husband. He excused himself from the room and made his way out into the hallway. Approaching Abi and Vijay, he introduced himself with a warm smile. 'Hello, I'm Surya. Ungaluku enna already theriyum nu ninaikuren'

Abi turned and smiled, her eyes lighting up with recognition. 'Of course, uncle. I remember you very well. Ungala pathadhula romba sandhosham'

Vijay, too, greeted Surya respectfully, 'It's a pleasure to finally meet you sir. Abi ungala pathi niraiya solli irukka'

Surya was instantly taken by their humility and pleasant nature. Despite everything he knew about Abi's complicated past, it was clear to him that she had turned out to be a well-mannered and graceful woman. Vijay, too, came across as kind-hearted and grounded, and this eased Surya's concerns about Abi's well-being.

'You both seem to be doing well' Surya commented, his eyes softening as he glanced between them. 'Indha chinna vaiyasula neenga edutha steps ellam paarthu kandipa unga parents perumai paduvanga'

Abi's smile faltered briefly, but she quickly recovered, nodding politely. 'Thanks uncle'

Ajay, standing nearby, watched the interaction with Shreya. He felt a deep sense of gratitude, seeing his father speaking kindly to Abi and Vijay. This moment of acceptance and peace was something he hadn't expected, and it filled him with relief. Shreya squeezed his hand gently, sharing the moment with him.

As the conversation wound down, Abi excused herself to check on Malini. After a thorough examination, she informed the family, "Maliniyum kolandhaiyum nalla irukanga. She can be discharged tomorrow.'

As the air in the room became lighter with the knowledge that Malini and the baby were both healthy, the conversation naturally shifted to one of the most exciting parts of welcoming a newborn-choosing a name.

'Okay' Hussain began, holding his son gently in his arms. 'namba ellarum ivanuku oru nalla peru yosikalam'

The group instantly buzzed with energy. Keerthana, always the creative one, was the first to speak. 'Aryan epdi irukku? It's strong, meaningful.'

Ajay shook his head with a chuckle. 'Ivanuku Aryan romba serious ah irukka madhiri irukku. He needs something more fun. What about Aarav?'

Shreya joined in, laughing. 'Aarav? Enga anna paiyan perum Aarav dhana, apo confuse agatha'

Everyone was throwing out suggestions left and right, their excitement building. Even little Zaara, perched on Naren's lap, seemed to be part of the discussion, babbling in her own language as if giving her input. She waved her tiny hands in the air, trying to catch everyone's attention.

'en ponnum idea solluralam' Naren grinned, playfully holding his daughter up. 'nee sollu ma un thambi ku enna peru vaikalam'

Zaara giggled, clapping her hands together, and the group couldn't help but laugh with her. Her cuteness added an extra layer of joy to the already heartwarming scene.

Then, Abi and Vijay, who had been sitting quietly and watching the lively discussion, finally chimed in. 'Edhavudhu nalla artham oda vacha nalla irukkum la?' Abi suggested softly, her eyes resting on the baby. 'A name that carries a legacy, maybe from your family?'

Ajay smiled at her. 'Idhu kooda nalla idea va irukkey'

'I was thinking maybe we could name him after someone important in our lives,' Vijay added thoughtfully. 'like anbayum, strenthayum depict pandra madhiri'

Keerthana nodded in agreement. 'Ama, idhu nalla idea. He should carry a name that will inspire him.'

As the discussion continued, everyone started throwing out names that held special meaning. Names like 'Raghav,' 'Krishna,' and 'Dev' floated around, each one met with laughter and fond memories.

In the midst of it all, Nila, who was perched comfortably on Abi's lap, suddenly babbled loudly, as if she wanted to contribute to the conversation. Everyone turned toward her in surprise.

'Nila kutty ku kooda edho idea iruku pola' Shreya teased, her eyes sparkling as she looked at the little girl.

Abi laughed, gently bouncing Nila in her arms. 'Namba soldra perulam romba nalla irukku nu soldra nenaikuren'

'neenga kolapura kolapuku Nila vaye select panna vachiralam' Naren joked, winking at the baby.

Nila responded with more baby talk, making everyone laugh even harder. Her presence seemed to melt away any remaining tension, and the room was filled with a sense of pure joy.

Ajay, still holding his newborn nephew, felt a deep sense of gratitude. He looked around the room, at his family-Naren and Keerthana, Zaara giggling in the background, Hussain looking at Malini with such love, Abi and Vijay contributing to the family warmth-and he realized just how precious this moment was.

Shreya leaned over to him, whispering, 'Namba enna peru vechalum seri, this baby is already surrounded by so much love.'

Ajay smiled, nodding. 'You're right. Ivan evlo lucky la'

Just then, Hussain raised his hand, calling for everyone's attention. 'vilayadunadhu lam podhum, ipo nijamave serious ah yosipom'

Abi, smiling at the playful banter, looked at Ajay and Shreya. ' I think no matter what we choose, this baby will carry all the love we've shared today. That's what really matters.'

The group fell into a warm silence for a moment, reflecting on her words. They knew the name they'd choose would be more than just a word; it would be a symbol of the bond that had grown stronger through love, patience, and family.

After a while, Vijay turned to Hussain, 'Hussain neenga epdiyum inaiki night inga Malini oda dhan thanganum, apo micha ellarum en enga veetula vandhu thanga koodadhu, engalukum oru change ah irukkum'

At first, Ajay, Shreya, and the others hesitated. They didn't want to impose, especially after such an eventful day. But Abi insisted, smiling warmly. 'Please, adhellam edhum illa, enga veetuku perusa relatives lam varamatanga, neenga ellarum vandhinga na jolly ya irukkum. Adhunala neenga ellarum varinga, that's it final'

With Abi's genuine offer, they finally relented, 'okay' Ajay said, smiling. 'Naanga varom'

'Seri na munnadi poi konjam veedu ah ellam clean panni vaikuren, dinner um ready panidren ok?' Abi asked for which everyone accepted

Vijay gave a nod of appreciation, while Abi smiled softly. 'Seri, ennanga na Nila va kootitu munnadi poren, neenga ellarayum kootitu vaanga kk va?' she asked 'sure ah, papa va vachitu manage panniduviya?' he was concerned 'Adhellam na pathukuren, ellarum vandhurunga' she said

As Abi picked up her daughter, who was now snuggled in her arms, she looked at the group with a quiet but content expression. The day had been emotional, but it was leading to a new beginning-one of understanding, forgiveness, and family.

With that, Abi and Nila left the hospital, not before her eyeing Vijay and everyone were in aww looking at the chemistry between them and the rest of the group stayed behind, still basking in the joy of Malini's successful delivery. For a brief moment, all worries faded, replaced by the warmth of togetherness.
