Ennakoru Snehidhi...
Episode 25...
The next morning, the house was filled with soft sunlight and the pleasant sound of everyone getting ready for the day. Ajay and Shreya shared a tender moment in their room as they wished each other a happy 3rd-month anniversary.
Shreya, with a bright smile, turned to Vijay and asked, 'Anna pakkathula edhavudhu ellarum pogura madhiri kovil irukka'
Vijay nodded, smiling as he knew the day was about to get more special than Shreya imagined. 'Haan inga pakkathula oru Murugan kovil irukku da, neenga ellarum ready agunga poitu vandhudalam' he said, throwing a glance at Ajay, who gave him a secret nod.
The soft morning light filtered through the curtains as Shreya stood in front of the mirror, trying to adjust her saree, her hands struggling to get the pleats just right. She was wearing a stunning Red saree with a golden floral print that shimmered in the sunlight. As she fiddled with the fabric, Ajay, who had just finished buttoning up his shirt, noticed her frustration.
With a gentle smile, he walked over and stood behind her. 'Edhavudhu help venuma ma?' he asked, his voice soft.
Shreya sighed, slightly embarrassed. 'Epdi dhan ponnungalam idha katturangalo' she admitted.
Ajay chuckled, his eyes filled with warmth. 'Seri iru na help pandren'
He gently took the saree from her hands, kneeling down without a second thought. Shreya stood still, watching him as he carefully adjusted each pleat, his hands moving with practiced ease. His attention to detail was impressive, and the care with which he worked made her heart flutter.
'Enna.. romba experienced ah irupinga pola' she teased, her tone playful.
Ajay glanced up at her with a smirk. 'Adhellam onnum illa nee katuradha niraiya vaati paathu iruken. Adhum illama you look beautiful in sarees, so I had to learn, right?'
Shreya blushed lightly, feeling the soft affection between them. Ajay finished adjusting the pleats and tucked them in perfectly, his hands brushing lightly against her waist as he did so. The touch was innocent but enough to make her heart skip a beat.
Standing up, Ajay stepped back to admire his hardwork. 'There. Perfect' he said, a look of pride in his eyes.
Shreya turned to face him, her fingers brushing over the pleats he had so carefully arranged. 'Neenga pakka husband material Ajayy' she said with a soft smile.
Ajay smiled back, leaning in slightly but not too much, keeping things gentle and decent. 'Unnakaga idhu kooda panna maten ah sollu' he whispered.
Shreya felt her heart swell with love for him. She reached up to adjust his collar, smoothing out a wrinkle. 'You look too good in this, you know,' she said softly, admiring him in his traditional white shirt.
Ajay grinned. 'Only because I have the perfect partner by my side.'
Shreya couldn't help but laugh lightly, feeling a warm sense of comfort and happiness as she looked into his eyes. It was these small, intimate moments that made her feel truly loved.
With everything finally in place, Ajay stepped back, offering his arm to Shreya. 'Polama?' he asked, his voice filled with a mix of affection and excitement for the day ahead.
Shreya took his arm, feeling lucky and content, ready to spend the day together with their family.
Everyone dressed in traditional ethnic wear, ready to visit the temple in Switzerland. Abi, dressed in a vibrant saree, tied her hair neatly as Nila babbled in her crib. Vijay, who had taken the day off along with Abi, was cheerful as the family gathered.
The group headed to the temple, the crisp air of the Swiss morning making the outing all the more refreshing.
The temple stood tall against the backdrop of the serene Swiss landscape, its architecture blending harmoniously with the snow-capped mountains in the distance. The group stepped out of the cars, each of them dressed in their vibrant ethnic wear, looking like they had brought a piece of home with them. The crisp morning air was filled with the faint sound of temple bells and the murmur of devotees, creating a peaceful, spiritual ambiance.
Abi adjusted Nila on her hip, dressed in a cute little lehenga, looked around, her eyes lingering on the temple's intricate carvings and the scent of incense in the air. Beside her, Vijay walked, his hand resting lightly on the small of her back. It had been a while since they all had a moment of stillness like this, and she relished it. Shreya, who walked a little ahead with Ajay, turned back and smiled at Abi, both women sharing an unspoken understanding of the peace they were about to experience. While Hussain held Malini close as they carried their newborn son. Naren carrying Zaara in his arms along with Keerthana followed behind, their laughter and playful teasing filling the air as they admired the breathtaking view. It was a picture-perfect moment of family and togetherness.
As they approached the temple entrance, the fragrance of incense and fresh flowers enveloped them, heightening the feeling of peace and devotion. The temple, though simple, exuded a quiet elegance. Its pristine white walls gleamed under the sunlight, and the intricate carvings on the temple's pillars seemed to come alive as they walked closer.
As they walked through the temple's grand entrance, the cool marble under their feet sent a soothing sensation through them, grounding them in the present. The priest greeted them with a warm smile, and they all lined up to offer their prayers. Abi handed Nila to Vijay for a moment and took a deep breath, her hands coming together in prayer. Vijay, standing beside her with their daughter in his arms, offered a silent prayer for their family, his mind still buzzing with the excitement of Ajay's surprise proposal later in the day.
Shreya stood quietly with Ajay, her hand tucked gently into his. As the priest chanted the mantras, her eyes were closed in devotion, but there was a faint smile on her lips. Ajay glanced at her out of the corner of his eye, feeling a surge of warmth at the sight of her so serene, so content. He squeezed her hand slightly, and she opened her eyes, looking up at him with a soft, knowing smile.
As they finished their prayers and moved out of the sanctum, the family spread out across the temple grounds, taking in the tranquility of the place. The temple was perched on a slight hill, and from where they stood, they could see the snow-capped mountains in the distance, the scene almost otherworldly in its beauty.
Abi and Shreya, standing by the temple's courtyard, watched Vijay and Ajay as they stood talking near the temple's entrance. There was something about the way the two men interacted-calm, easy, and so natural-that made both women feel at peace. Abi smiled, watching Vijay gently rock Nila in his arms as he listened to Ajay, who was clearly talking animatedly about something. Shreya noticed it too, leaning in closer to Abi.
'Avangala ipdi parka, oru madhiri warm ah feel aguthula' Shreya said softly, her voice filled with affection.
Abi nodded, her gaze still on Vijay. 'Ama, they are lucky to have met eachother'
Shreya smiled, her heart full. 'And us too' she added with a playful wink, making Abi chuckle.
At that moment, Naren and Hussain joined them, carrying the newborn baby. Zaara and Nila, now back in Abi's arms, hovered near the baby, their curiosity getting the better of them as they tried to gently poke and prod their new cousin. Malini and Keerthana stood nearby, sharing in the joy of watching the children interact.
Naren made a playful comment about how the baby was already blessed, having been born in such a beautiful place. 'Abhishek Bachchanuku aduthu ivan dhan da raasikaran' he joked, making everyone laugh. Hussain grinned, nodding in agreement, as Malini rolled her eyes affectionately.
The conversation flowed easily as they all stood there, basking in the peaceful atmosphere. The light banter, the innocent laughter of the children, and the sense of unity that filled the air made it feel like a perfect moment. They took turns holding the baby, each of them offering silent prayers for his health and happiness.
As the time came to leave, Vijay and Abi quietly excused themselves, tiptoeing away with Nila after subtly informing Ajay about their plan. They vanished without anyone noticing. When the group walked back to the car, Malini was the first to ask, 'Vijayum Abiyum enga?'
Ajay quickly improvised, 'Avangaluku hospital la oru emergency adhunaladhan enkita sollitu kelambunanga'
Keerthana frowned, suspicious. 'Ana Vijay anna day off eduthadha la sonaru'
Before Ajay could stumble over his words, Shreya joined in, 'Adhum illama papavayum edhuku kootitu ponanga, adhum emergency nu soldringa'
Just as the tension rose, Hussain and Naren, who were both aware of the entire plan, intervened. 'Papa unaku emergency na epdi irukum nu theriyumla aprom enna' Varun said, brushing it off. 'Maybe edhavudhu chinna velaiya irukalam, adhum papa sudden ah aludha na enna pandradhu sollu adhuku dhan kootitu poirupanga..'
Hussain added, 'Chotti takkunu carla eru evlo neram kolandhaiya vachitu velila indha kulurula ninnutu irupa'
Malini and Keerthana exchanged curious looks but followed their husbands, trusting that something else might be going on. As they were driving, Naren, out of nowhere, reached over and wrapped a blindfold around Shreya's eyes.
'Anneyy enna na pandra' Shreya exclaimed, surprised.
Ajay chuckled. 'Ma konjam neram ennakaga amaidhiya, endha kelviyum kekama va'
Malini and Keerthana were thoroughly confused, trying to ask more questions, but their husbands gave them knowing looks, silently asking them to trust the process. After a bit of friendly banter and attempts at guessing, the car finally reached its destination - a scenic Swiss train station nestled against the mountains.
Ajay helped Shreya out of the car, her blindfold still intact, while the others followed closely behind. 'Ajayy, ipo enna nadakudhu nu solla poringala illaya, iru enga appa ta soldren, enna engayo kadathitu poranga nu' Shreya asked, her voice a mix of excitement and impatience.
'Konjam neram amaidhiya variya ma, ellarum enna oru madhiri paakuranga' Ajay said, leading her carefully towards the platform 'Thangam nee achu irundhu irukka koodatha, enna ivanga ellam ennamo panna paakuranga, un friend ah pavam nu paathu kalyanam panadhu thappa pochu' Shreya kept yapping. The excitement in the air was palpable as they prepared for the next stage of the surprise.
As the train pulled into the station, everyone quietly boarded with Shreya still blindfolded. Clueless and eager to know what was happening, Shreya kept asking, but Ajay only smiled, asking her to wait just a little longer. Malini and Keerthana, though still in the dark about the exact plan, were beginning to enjoy the mystery, while the husbands shared knowing smiles, preparing for the magical moment that awaited them.
