"Fucking great." Gyuvin huffed. "Just fucking great." He watched as the news showed their school photos on screen regarding the Yejun incident.

Yunmi squinted at the screen. "Wow, I look good in that photo." She giggled, and she earned a dirty look from everyone in the room. "What? At least we're going to be in true crime podcasts. We're famous."

"We've BEEN famous Yunmi." Ricky mentally facepalmed. "Honestly, all this is is bringing a bad light to us and our families."

"Well my mother got me a lawyer just incase." She shrugged and looked back at the news. "I'm assuming you all got one too"

The others nodded and Gunwook sighed after seeing pictures of the funeral. "The whole fucking world knows now. We're innocent but you know what those annoying chronically online theorists are like, they'll all find some way to blame us."

'Four students from elite college Narae have been put down as main suspects for the murder of a dear friend, Ryu Yejun.'

"Boooooo." Gyuvin threw a pillow at the tv
and scoffed. "The evidence is so shitty. They really have the wrong people."

"The evidence is not shitty. You two literally have fingerprints on a bat that was probably used on Yejun." Ricky raised a brow.

"Well now it seems like the internet are blaming someone else besides us." Gunwook was scrolling through his phone and reading comments and theories about the case.

"Why? Who do they think it is?"

"Gyuvin's dad." Gunwook said, "They're just mentioning the fact that the way he sorted the case out and not tell the police until now was suspicious. Oh and the whole keeping us stuck in the house thing."

Gyuvin ruffled his hair, frustrated with the media's response to the case coming public. "My family is so fucked. If him and I get the most blame, then my whole family will have a shitty reputation. Let alone the fact my mother is a fucking cougar."

Gyuvin opened the door and looked down at Yunmi with an amused smile. "What do you need, Yun?" His arm was resting on the door frame and he towered over her figure, his shadow covering her from the light.

"Can we talk?" She broke the eye contact straight away and cleared her throat. "And can we go somewhere private? Please?"

Gyuvin noticed that she looked nervous and nodded. "Yeah, of course." Truth is, she was nervous because of him, not because of the topic. It was weird for her to feel herself getting nervous at him just because he was smiling at her.

Yunmi led him to the balcony, and closed the door before signalling him to sit down on the chair next to hers. It was already pretty chilly, and the wind danced around them as the sun was setting. It was hues of pinks, blues and oranges and it was pretty perfect.

"What actually happened that night?" Yunmi asked, looking down at her lap. "Like, after we drank.."

"I told you I don't remember." He replied calmly. "Why? You still worried we killed him or something?"

She shook her head before taking her phone out, "Taerae found a picture on my phone.. and it showed something we did."

He chuckled. "I saw it already, the picture of the bat beneath us? We may have just touched it because it was there. We didn't do anything Yunmi, it's okay."

"No." She sighed. "It's different." She swiped to the correct photo and slowly faced the phone towards him. "Why am I on top of you?"

"Oh shit," Gyuvin looked up at her and took the phone to look at it clearly. "That definitely does look quite silly. Your lipstick is all over my face." He tried to stifle a laugh. "What's the issue with him seeing it?"

She scoffed. "The issue is it's clear what happened there. We kissed Gyuvin. We fucking kissed, on the way to a crime scene."

"Was that our first kiss?" He asked, still looking at the photo. "And we were intoxicated, Yunmi. How were we supposed to know we were on our way to a crime scene?"

She pushed him to the side. "Why are you asking if it's our first kiss-"

"What? It's a genuine question." He defended himself straight away. "You know.. just asking. Out of curiosity."

Her eyes fell to the picture again. It was so obvious. "Maybe it was. Why do you care anyway? You told me you never liked me."

He turned to her in confusion. "Yunmi, what?"

"You ignored me and turned into a fuck boy during college. You literally told me you didn't like me back."

"Yunmi," He snorted. "That's because of Yejun. Oh my God now that he's... dead I can tell you everything."'

She stopped him. "Let's drop the Yejun lore another time. I don't want to ruin the good mood I have right now because I'm with you." She rolled her eyes. "I have a dead ex boyfriend and I want to find out what happened to him."

"Too bad he's dead." He shrugged as he looked up at the sky mindlessly. It was silent and it was a comforting feeling for them both. Finally having somewhat closure from their past. Gyuvin was contemplating on whether to tell her something or not, and he decided to ask her a question.

"So, can we start again?"

She gulped. "What?" She didn't turn to him yet and waited for him to elaborate. "As friends, I mean." He said.

"Oh- yeah." She nodded. "I thought you meant something else haha...."

"Oh wait I do actually have something to tell you." He shuffled closer to her to put the blanket over her shoulders.

"Is this when you tell me you've always liked me or something?" She giggled, hugging her arms with the warmth of the blanket on top.

He shot finger guns at her. "Yes. Unfortunately." He cleared his throat and looked away just so he doesn't have to see her reaction. "Yeah I've always liked you. Embarrassingly enough. Not that it's embarrassing to like you. I don't anymore by the way. I did before but- I'm just letting you know before you get the wrong idea-"

She started to laugh. "What? What's so funny?" Yunmi stop laughing you're making me scared!" Her laughs were getting louder by the second and he began to get worried.

"I can't believe you're confessing to me the day after we got called murderers." She took the blanket off of her shoulders and unfolded it so that it would cover the both of them. "You really wanted to say that before anything else?"

"I just wanted to tell you." He held onto the blanket. "I know that we just got ourselves into a lot of shit so just in case anything happens, you know?"

She chuckled and rested her head on his shoulder. "Nothing's going to happen to us. Or anyone. But, I do applaud you for deciding to confess your love for me."

He shrugged. "It's romantic, no? I don't think someone's ever confessed to you during a time where they're about to go to prison for false accusations."

"Well that definitely is the first time I have seen someone confess to me in such a way and during the time we're about to be disowned."

"Oh and um," He scratched the back of his head. "Don't worry. Take your time. Don't answer to this confession either. Trust me, I'll wait."

"Wait for what?" She turned to him in confusion.

He hesitated before finally turning to her. He gazed at her closely, watching as the wind picked up strands of her hair and how her eyes were looking right into his. He just took the time to appreciate her features. It's been a year since they've been this close, and it's been two years Gyuvin ever admitted to liking her.

"Gyuvin, wait for what?" She repeated, noticing how he didn't answer her question yet.

"You."
