I Don't Know You
"As with the mosquito monster, I once again underestimated my opponent's power," Genos mused as he lay on the steel medical table with several tubes and plugging sticking out from his body. Dr. Kuseno had opened up Genos's torso as he made improvement modifications to the cyborg. "I let my guard down and Carnage Kabuto took advantage of that. If Saitama-Sensei and (y/n) hadn't been there, I would have certainly been destroyed."
"I see," Hummed the doctor. "Well I'm glad you're oka—"
"Doctor," Genos interrupted, gaining the attention of elder man. "(y/n) and Saitama-Sensei have saved me twice. You, Doctor Kuseno, restored my life to me. Later, this same life was saved by (y/n), and now saved it again with Saitama-Sensei."
The Doctor smiled. "Yes, I understand now, Genos. What you're trying to tell me is how amazing these two people are, right?"
"Yes."
"You've seemed to grow attached to this (y/n) most though," Kuseno noted. "Refresh my memory, but wasn't she the one you were going to study under as well?"
"Yes, but she declined. However, I still learn from her even if doesn't physically teach me," Genos said.
"Hmm," Kuseno muttered as he clicked something into the computer screen in front of him. "Tell me Genos, is she kind to you?"
"Very."
"How are you around her?"
"Hm?" Genos questioned, taken aback. "Well, it's....difficult to be around her. I mean, not in a bad way, but she.....she can be a distraction."
"A distraction?"
"I find myself straying from my studies. When I should be taking notes, I'm talking to her instead. I don't mind it, her conversations are interesting and amusing, but I know that I shouldn't be caught up in her words." The cyborg glanced up at the doctor who was looking at him to continue. "It goes against my usual sternness but I can't help it. It's....fun, and I always catch up on Saitama-Sensei's teachings anyway."
"And from what you told me, Miss (y/n) lives with Saitama?"
"Yes, she says he took her in when she had nothing."
"Do you perhaps think that maybe they are, together?" Kuseno inquired carefully.
Genos blinked. "Together?"
"As in partners, lovers if you will," Kuseno continued. "From what you've told me, she's very familiar with him, correct? Perhaps, during their time together they established some kind of—"
"No, that's impossible," Genos shook his head. "Saitama-Sensei treats her with respect. He's kind to her but isn't that close to her."
But now that he mentioned it, Saitama would often blush when you turned to him with a smile. He seemed to acknowledge you more than he did anyone else. Saitama was more sensitive to you, he was aware that you were girl.
"Genos, I'm only speculating because I don't want you to get hurt," Dr. Kuseno sighed. "It's just a thought, but from what I see, you seem to really like this girl."
"I believe we have a standard friendship," Genos said, although he was unsettled by the seed of thought that Kuseno had planted in his brain. "I still not entirely convinced that (y/n) and Saitama-sensei are significant others though."
"Why not ask?" The Doctor offered.
"I will," The cyborg nodded, thinking to change the subject. He liked talking about you, but he didn't like the turn it came to. "But, may I ask, are the—"
"They're not ready just yet," Kuseno cut him off for once. "I'm developing a new series of augmentations. When I replace your existing parts with these new ones, you may be able to surpass this Saitama and (y/n)."
Genos lifted his head as the set of arms glistened from the corner of the room. "I imagine they possess an enormous amount of strength for you to go on about them so," Kuseno continued.
"Yes..."
After being poked and prodded on the operation table, Genos was up and ready to go within a few hours. His initial thought was to go visit you and Saitama, out of pure randomness of course.

"Damn it, how did I get lost!?" You yelled in the middle of the forest. You had just separated from Sonic and now had no clue where you were. You thought it would be easy enough to get back to the city, just retrace your steps. Apparently, you couldn't even do that.
You then heard a snap and immediately turned in that direction. Not far in the distance you saw a bright yellow shape and thin black figure. You drew closer and found that you knew these two. They were Saitama and Sonic.
Sonic had a confused glare on his face as he held the shattered katana in his hand. Saitama tossed the larger broken piece of the blade aside. "Hey, you got it all wrong."
"I got what wrong?" Sonic said through grit teeth.
"I'm not the Paradisers' comrade," Saitama clarified.
"You're a bad liar."
"No, no, no! Just look at me!" Saitama rushed.
"I did," Sonic replied. "And with that bald head, you're a dead giveaway."
"No! Hey, it's me! Me!" Saitama gestured to himself with a hand and with the other he raised it to the sky. "You know, the guy who's a hero for fu—"
"I don't know you," Sonic responded bluntly.
There was a grave silence between them. It was so quiet you could hear the wind blowing through the trees. You decided to sit back and watch how this played out.
"Oh...I see...." Saitama dejected with a disillusioned expression.
"Either way, it doesn't matter," Sonic said as he sheathed the broken sword on his back. Sonic's grinned sinisterly as he spoke even though he found no humor in the matter. "You read my attacks. Twice. And that's a problem."
"Born in a ninja village, I've honed my skill since childhood," Sonic continued. "Yet you saw right through them. That is unforgivable." Saitama only stared at him confused. "My pride will not forgive you. Whoever you are, you're not getting away."
Sonic suddenly flashed behind Saitama before zipping further back from him with his back to the hero. "Cut the crap," Saitama's curved into a side smile. "You just want to test yourself."
Test? You questioned in your mind.
"I can tell by that innocent smile of yours."
You glanced over to Sonic. Your eyes practically bugged out when you saw that 'innocent smile' of his. A chaotic grin was spread out his face, teeth bright and showing. His eyes glimmered with malicious intention as you heard silent dark chuckles escape him.
Where did he get innocent from!?

"P-p-please!!" Hammerhead begged as he crawled away from the dangerous threat looming over him. "Forgive m—!" But it was too late, the robotic figure had already smashed his metal hand onto the defenseless, naked man.
"Pleading for his life after stealing battle suits from the organization?" The machine droned. "This is truly the height of stupidity."
"Of course, we did let the theft take place in order to collect field data on the suits," His mannequin-like partner said. His various mechanical arms twitched and clicked in sync with his words.
"And the body?" The other asked.
"Leave it."
Both aggressors then walked away without another thought.
'Thank you for giving me such a thick skull, Mommy,' Hammerhead cried as he lay in a puddle of his own blood. The robotic creature had smacked him square on the head so that's where the red liquid was coming from, although he still seemed to be fine. 'I promise I'll get a job!'
What was your guys' initial reaction to Sonic getting punched in the balls?
