"It was that bad?" Hoseok suggests from his observations of the boy sitting across from him with his face on his hands. Jungkook looks up and nods, agreeing with his friend.
"He made me feel so...fudge I can't even describe it but it was definitely not good," Jungkook explains, his face disgusted from what he had been through just a few hours before. "Not to mention I almost killed Jimin before this," he adds, making Hoseok confused with how Jimin had anything to do with the meeting.
"Jiminie? What did he do?" Jungkook rolls his eyes, remembering the annoyance and urge to strangle the little mochi before.
"He pretended to lose his voice so he wouldn't have to finish his vocals for Namjoon-hyung's song because he's a lazy napkin. So then I had to go and do the remaining vocals." Hoseok laughs, not wanting to imagine the stress that Jungkook and Namjoon went through with trying to make their deadline.
"Ouch. Jimin's little act doesn't surprise me though. Last night he really went all out." Again, Jungkook rolls eyes and smiles softly as he acknowledged that this wasn't new behavior from Jimin.
"I guess so, but it's alright because karma already got him," Jungkook replies, laughing on the inside.
"How?"
"This guy came by, I think his name was Min Yoongi. Kinda rude, but he's okay. Kinda reminded me of you," Jungkook says, glancing over at his friend who's eyebrow raised from curiosity.
"Really? He must be very cool then." Hoseok confidently replies, smirking at the thought of someone who's personality was like his.
"You could say that...anyway, Jimin slept through the visit and when he woke up we showed him a pic of Yoongi. You should have seen his face when he realized that Yoongi was his type." Jungkook continued, joining Hoseok who began laughing.
"Watch this crush last for a week. He'll see another guy to drool over and fuck in a few days." Hoseok comments, Jungkook agreeing. "Total honestly though, was the Kim's son that bad?" Jungkook's smile turns into a frown.
"He's a total douchebag! So full of himself honestly." Jungkook says with annoyance, taking a sip of his iced americano which was waiting to be paid attention to. "He even started to try and make me feel brainless for choosing music as my major," he adds, Hoseok's face seeming surprised.
"Okay how about we try something else...is he your type?" Hoseok questions, trying to get the younger to start thinking positively. Jungkook tilts his head, trying his best to imagine Kim Taehyung in his head.
"Personality? Absolutely not, but looks...he isn't that bad." Jungkook's voice rises toward the end, making Hoseok chuckle. "What?" Jungkook asks, seeming a bit hurt the older's reaction.
"You're doing that voice thing." Hoseok comments, taking a bite of his blueberry scone with a grin plastered on his face.
"What? What voice thing?"
"Your voice always rises when you're lying." Jungkook's eyes widen, learning something that he didn't even know about himself.
"No I don't, shut the front door up." Jungkook gives his hyung a look, having a reluctance to believe what he was just told.
"You can lie to me, just don't lie to yourself," Hoseok adds with a wink, before getting up. "I have to go, gotta meet with my girl," Hoseok says, Jungkook showing a long face since he would be leaving him.
"Awe," Jungkook whines, "When will we all get to meet her?" He questions, getting up as well to hug his hyung.
"When I think she's ready to face all of you crazy people," Hoseok answers, earning a soft punch after his hug. "I'm playing, soon. I've been meaning to ask you all when you're free." Jungkook nods, understanding the circumstances.
"Okay then, bye," Jungkook says, waving at his hyung as he leaves the coffee shop and disappears from sight. Jungkook sits back down and stares at the empty seat in front of him, recalling the first time he met Kim Taehyung.
"Hey. Sit there." The boy coldly states, pointing his finger to the seat in front of him.
"Why should I?" Jungkook asks in a sassy tone, slowly walking back to the table.
"Because I said so." The boy simply states as he once again gestures to the empty seat in front of him. Hesitantly, Jungkook sits down and looks out the window trying to avoid any eye contact with the boy in front of him.
His box-like smile was nice, along with his black locks of hair that seemed to form his mullet that suited his face well. Not to mention his round brown colored eyes, one a monolid, whilst the other didn't seem to join and was a double eyelid. And his lips, they look quite soft and plump, as if they're desperately calling out to be touched. If only Jungkook maybe tried to-
"No, Kookie." Jungkook suddenly blurts out, realizing he was actually gaydreaming about a boy who he despised in almost all possible ways. "He's not a good person." He reminded himself, trying to bring himself back to reality. He shakes his head and stands up, placing his hands on top of his head to regain focus. Jungkook walks out of the coffee shop, looking at the sun which caught his attention because of its warmth. "I should get back home," Jungkook says to himself as he began to walk down the streets, not paying too much attention to the people ahead of him as he was looking down. He kept walking, thinking about how his future looked like for him with Kim Taehyung. As he was trying to think of possible outcomes, he bumped into someone.
"I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention." Jungkook immediately apologizes, bowing down a little to avoid confrontation from the other person.
"Jungkook?" A males voice asks, Jungkook recognizing the voice almost immediately. He looks up and finds a boy standing before him with a few friends by his side. "How are you?" Jungkook stands there frozen, unsure of what to say.
"H-hey In-Sung..." Jungkook finally squeaks out, the mood around the two boys being clearly tense. "I'm good...and you?" Jungkook questions back, trying to make conversation so it wouldn't be as awkward.
"Pretty good, I see you've gotten even hotter over this time," The boy comments as his friends behind him look at each other and laugh, which only made Jungkook feel even more uncomfortable.
"Thanks...I have to go..." Jungkook begins walking away but is pulled back by his arm. In-Sung shows a frown, not being very fond of the younger boy's attitude.
"Awe, why so soon? How about we catch up...or have some fun?" He implies, smirking at his friends behind him so they would catch on to his idea.
"In-Sung, let go of me. I have to go." Jungkook defends himself, trying his best to free himself of the boy's grip.
"Come on, it's not like you have a boyfriend waiting for you or anything. Come-" "He actually doesn't have a boyfriend waiting but rather a fiancé." A voice suddenly says, putting his arm around Jungkook's waist to show what was his. Jungkook looks behind him and sees Kim Taehyung looking back at him with a smile on his face.
"Fiancé?" In-Sung repeats, puzzled. He let's go of Jungkook's arm, who brings his arm back to his side quickly.
"Yeah fiancé, so I would really appreciate it if you would leave my baby boy alone and go and try to slide your dick into someone else." Taehyung coldly states, the rest of the boys staring at him in fear. In-Sung scoffs, clearly not taking the warning seriously.
"Or what? You gonna do something?" In-Sung replies, trying his best to sound confident. Taehyung smirks, ready to stir up some chaos.
"Of course I will. I'm a Kim. Who are you? No one. Why don't you try and make yourself someone known before trying to threaten someone who is at a higher level than you. But if you don't want to, go ahead and try me." Jungkook looks at Taehyung, who had the biggest grin on his face as he saw the boy in front of them suck his teeth and walk away. "You okay?" He asks, his grin instantly disappearing and changing back to his serious expression.
Jungkook nods still left speechless at what had happened. The older begins to walk and takes a few steps before stopping and looking behind him. "Hurry up. I'll walk you back to your house since you clearly are incapable of making it back yourself." Jungkook slowly walks up and joins the other boy who began walking.
"I can make it back myself," Jungkook whispers, talking back to the older boy.
"What did you say?" Taehyung asks, looking at the younger who looked down at the pavement.
"Nothing-" he responds, knowing he would be scolded by the older if he knew what he actually said.
"Better. Who was that cunt?"
"My ex-boyfriend..." Taehyung's brows raise, his mouth forming an 'o'. He then laughs, Jungkook looking at him confused as he didn't know what was so funny.
"That's your ex? You're really upgrading then." Taehyung says with a scoff, looking at the boy next to him with his clearly low standards. "How come you two broke up?" Taehyung's cold tone noticeably vanished, replacing itself with a calm one.
"He cheated on me." Jungkook softly says, looking down at the pavement in embarrassment. Taehyung stays silent for a few seconds, almost feeling bad for the younger but his cold front comes up.
"I already told you that you are very gullible. Not to mention that you should've expected it if he looked like that." Jungkook frowns, thinking back to that horrible day. He had been left with his heartbroken which had taken years to heal. Yet when they bumped into each other, he had the audacity to act as if nothing ever happened. That's what hurt Jungkook more, seeing that he didn't feel any guilt over the damage he had caused.
Taehyung expected a retaliation but is surprised when Jungkook just stays in silence. "Where do you live?" He asks, trying to distract the younger from what they were previously talking about.
"I live down there, where it's silent." Jungkook points in front of him, where the houses began getting bigger than the ones currently surrounding them. Taehyung begins walking, Jungkook quickly trying to catch up. "I can go from here, it's close-" "I said I'd walk you home. I will keep my word." Taehyung interrupts, observing the neighborhood around him. Jungkook accepts defeat and silently walks next to the boy, nervous as to what he would think when he saw his house.
But why should I care? It's not like his opinion matters.
Jungkook didn't know why all of a sudden he cared about opinions. Or to be more specific, he didn't know why he started to care about Kim Taehyung's opinions. They didn't matter before and they shouldn't matter now either.
"How come you were there when I was talking to him?" Jungkook's curiosity seeping out, eyeing the older as if he were spying on him.
"Was out walking...and then saw you. Noticed you clearly needed help, so I went to save your ass. Is this it?" Taehyung questions as he stops walking in front of a gate. Beside it, there is a plate stating the family name along with the actual residents. Jungkook nods, walking up to the gate which is opened by the gatekeeper.
"Thank you," Jungkook shyly says, Taehyung just staring at him without response. "Do you want-" Jungkook doesn't finish his question about asking him if he wanted to come inside as the boy had already proceeded walking away.
"Jerk." Jungkook annoyingly says, not wanting to deal with the boy's confusing actions.
