20180916 Update: i would also like to say that i would appreciate feedback, especially because i've been thinking about what i've written and i'm worried that it may be harmful. i wrote this in 2014/2015 and that was a more uneducated me and so i wasn't as sensitive to issues as i am now. it just dawned on me that my portrayal of a mental illness may give the wrong impression to those who might understand my work differently than i do. years ago, i had written the last part of the book to clarify what i wanted to say with the story, but i'm writing this now to say that i am willing to delete or edit the story if anyone were to tell me so. i would be happy to further clarify any questions or misunderstandings, just send me a private message as i rarely go through comments.
