It was already so obvious to her that Jinhwan wouldn't leave her alone.

Eun Mi might have already accepted the fact that he wasn't going anywhere. Maybe she realized he really did care about her.

That was just his guess, though. Eun Mi wasn't openly pushing him away this time.

He decided to take a chance and test his assumption.

"What do your tattoos mean?"

He had always wondered why she had her tattoos. She never talked about them, which he didn't mind.

Eun Mi glanced at the one on her wrist then back at Jinhwan. "Why do you want to know?"

Jinhwan shrugged. "Just curious," he said.

"What if I don't want to tell you?" she questioned.

"I'll still be curious," he replied.

She didn't say anything and he sighed.

"Why don't you want to tell me?"

There was a pause, as if she was contemplating on lying. 

Finally, she spoke.

"Because you might run away if I do."
