Commencement
Seokjin stayed the night to take care of Min Yoongi. When I woke up the next morning he was still there, intently watching over the CEO.
"Did you stay up for the whole night?" I asked.
He nodded. Was he even human? If I slept less than five hours the night before I would be dying right now. Yet he looked completely fine.
Suddenly a phone rang. Seokjin took one out from his pocket and took the call. He had a short conversation with whoever was on the phone.
He said to me after the call ended, "I need to go. But someone needs to take care of Yoongi."
I realised he meant me. "But... But I need to go to work. Today is my first day..."
"Please," Seokjin said. "Yoongi needs to be kept alive."
I was internally debating with myself. It was my dream job that we were talking about. If I lost it then I may never get it back. But then again...
"Yea fine, I'll do it."
Seokjin sighed in relive. "Thank you so much, Sulli. We owe you."
He told me the instruction on taking care of Yoongi. After moving Yoongi to my spare bedroom Seokjin left my house in a hurry with his bag. I went back to the spare bedroom and looked at the CEO. Oh god, why was I doing this?
-----
As per Seokjin's instruction, I stayed with Min Yoongi almost all the time. I cleaned up the blood in my house and change his bandage periodically.
When he was past out, I heard him muttering a few times.
"...Eunjung..." Yoongi muttered in his sleep as he stirred a bit on the couch. He was dreaming about that really pretty girlfriend of his, wasn't he? I saw her on TV quite a few times too.
He groaned. "Jungkook... FIRE..."
Jungkook? Who was that? A friend of his? Jungkook must have been important to him if he was dreaming about him even on the edge of death.
And fire? Was he talking about the fire at his mansion after the bombing?
I saw his hands moving a little. Was he waking up? He took a deep breath and opened his eyes slightly.
"Min Yoongi?" I hurried to his side and said loudly. "Can you hear me?"
His eyes were unfocused. He slurred out a few words, "FIRE... leader... Eunjung... Eunjung... was Jimin and Yerin..." And then he past out again.
Who were all those people he muttered?
I sighed and decided to go back to the living to watch TV. I left the guest room door opened so I could see into it from where I was. I then turned on the TV with my remote.
After a few irrelevant news, the female anchor started talking about Yoongi. "Last night at around 10pm, a bombing happened at the mansion of Blaze's CEO Min Yoongi and his girlfriend, Oh Eunjung. 10 people, including servants and guards, are found dead. Oh Eunjung's has been found on the second level with minor injuries. However, Min Yoongi is still missing. The police urges anyone who has a clue to his location to contact them."
I looked down at the phone I was holding, and then looked back at the unconscious Min Yoongi. I was more than tempted to call the police. I really didn't understand why I couldn't and Seokjin did not exactly explain it. Maybe if I tell the police just where Min Yoongi was he could get better treatment than just the bed of my house, and he might have a bigger chance to survive... and I might also get a reward.
I shook my head and put down the phone. I'm sure they had their reasons not to inform anyone, and I didn't want to break their trust.
Instead, I decided to look up Min Yoongi and his girlfriend on Naver, just out of curiosity. I clicked on his Wikipedia page and it said he went to the same school with his girlfriend called the Busan Advance College. It was where their relationship started and they have been a pair ever since. That's cute. I wish I would get s romance like that someday. I wonder when that would happen to me, if ever.
I sighed and closed that tab. I then decided to go back to my research on the Busan Killer.
