"Sirius!" Ophelia shouted as she ran through the house. He had left her dress somewhere only he couldn't remember where. "How the bloody hell do you lose an entire wedding dress?"

"It's your fault for trusting me with it," he reminded her as he checked another room.

"I didn't trust you with it," she huffed. "I trusted Remus who trusted you for whatever stupid reason."

"Would you calm down?" he requested.

"How am I supposed to calm down?" she asked. "The ceremony was supposed to start half an hour ago! What if he thinks I'm standing him up?"

"He's not going to think that," Sirius pointed out. "Aha!" he exclaimed, "Got it."

Ophelia skidded to a stop at the door frame to the room he was in, "The dress?"

"No," he answered, "I left my leather jacket here a few days ago."

"Sirius!" she shouted. "This really isn't the time."

"I was only messing with you," he replied before holding up the dress.

She let out a breath of relief before grabbing the dress from him. "Let's get out of here, please."

"Where are they?" James asked as he paced back and forth in the hall of Hogwarts. They knew as soon as they were discussing wedding plans that this is where they wanted to have it. "You think their okay?"

"It's probably my fault," Remus huffed. "I shouldn't have let Sirius handle the dress."

"Yes," he agreed with a wave of us his hand, "That was very stupid of you."

Remus rolled his eyes, "I think you can calm down."

"How am I supposed to calm down?" he gaped. "It's been almost an hour and the guest are getting antsy and-"

"Prongs," Remus interrupted and he stopped pacing. "They're here."

James looked over at where he was looking and saw Sirius standing outside the door and waving. He breathed out a sigh of relief, "Oh, good."

He started his way to the room to see Ophelia but Remus just managed to step in front of him.

James moved to enter the room but Remus placed a hand on his chest, "You can't go in there."

This confused him, "Why not?"

"You can't see the bride until she's walking down the aisle," he pointed out. "Now go, we'll have her out in fifteen."

"She should have been out an hour ago," he countered. "How am I supposed to trust that you two won't mess it up again?"

"Because I'm saying it, not Sirius," Remus explained. "Fifteen minutes. Now go."

Remus turned to enter the room, and Andromeda Tonks followed in behind him, her daughter at her side.

"Black, I need you to zip up the back of the dress," Ophelia informed him. "It's not that difficult. You just grab the zipper and pull up."

"I'll do it," Remus stated before he crossed the room to the girl. He grabbed the zipper and pulled it up with ease. He turned to look at Sirius with a raised eyebrow, "Why was that difficult for you?"

"It's just such a complicated contraption," he huffed.

"Oh, you look beautiful," Andi informed the girl and Ophelia smiled, accepting the hug that the woman offered.

"Thank you," Ophelia replied.

"Rem!" Nymphadora exclaimed eagerly reaching up at Remus. Remus grabbed her hand and shook it gently, indicating that he knew she was there before letting her go.

"Looks like I've got competition," Sirius observed.

"Shut up," Remus suggested.

"Language, Moony," he replied. "There are children present."

"Is the flower girl ready?" Ophelia asked, interrupting the boys bickering.

"Ready, an ecstatic," Andi nodded. "She's been changing her hair to match the colors of the flowers since they handed her the basket."

Ophelia bent down so she was the same height as Nymphadora. She wrinkled her nose before it changed into a duck beak. Nymphadora reached up and grabbed at the nose before her face scrunched up and her own nose morphed into a matching beak. Ophelia grinned as she allowed her face to change back to normal.

Ophelia turned to Remus and Sirius, "You two should get out there before James loses it." She had asked Remus to be her Maid of Honor and he agreed, hence why Sirius and him had to go together.

"You ready?" Remus asked.

"More than you know," she replied and he smiled.

He opened the door to walk out but stopped upon seeing someone on the other side. "Mom," Ophelia said, her voice breaking slightly.

"Ophelia," the women breathed out. "You look-"

"What are you doing here?" Ophelia asked, cutting her short.

"I heard you were getting married," she explained. "I wanted to be here."

"I haven't talked to you in a year," she reminded her. "Not that you've made any effort at reaching out either." Remus and Sirius exchanged a wary glance and moved toward the door but Ophelia was quick to stop them, "Both of you, stay right there."

"I'll let them know it'll be some time longer," Andi announced, glancing warily between Ophelia and her mother.

"Don't tell James why," Sirius suggested. "Just say that we're having technical difficulties with the dress."

Andi's lips pressed into a tight line before she nodded in agreement, taking Nymphadora's hand in her own before walking out.

Ophelia turned back to her mother, "Why did you come here?"

"I told you-"

"I know what you said," she interrupted. "But why? You made your choice the second you agreed with dad. Nothing's changed since then."

"I know, but..." she trailed off shaking her head. "I wanted to see you get married."

"And dad?"

Her face dropped, "He has his belief system and you know as well as I do that he's a stubborn man."

Ophelia nodded, not sure what to say. "Fine, you can stay."

"I can?" she asked eagerly.

"I'm sure you can find an empty seat somewhere."

Her mother smiled at the girl and she hesitated before leaning in and hugging her, "I'm so sorry that I wasn't there for you."

Ophelia frowned, "I know."

She left the room a moment later, leaving her alone with Sirius and Remus. "Well that was a good thing, I think?" Sirius observed.

"Let's just go," she suggested. "We're even more behind then we were before."

"Are you okay?" Remus asked as they made their way to where the service was to be held.

Ophelia nodded, "I will be."

Remus and Sirius entered the room leaving Ophelia to herself. She waited and listened for her cue and when the song started, the doors opened for her to enter.

"Was that your mom?" Reggie asked as he took his spot next to her. This was one of the reasons they had decided to have the wedding at Hogwarts. So Reggie could walk her down the aisle.

"We can talk about it later," she suggested.

"Still think you'd be better off as a Wizarding Prostitute," he whispered as they walked down the aisle.

"Now really isn't the time for you to voice that opinion," she hissed under her breath. "Besides, no one has a werewolf kink."

"Potter and Black do," he informed her as they came to a stop at the end of the aisle.

"Do you want me to kill you?" she inquired.

"I'm already dead," he reminded her before turning to face James. "Treat her well, Potter."

James nodded but appeared at a loss for words as he stared at Ophelia. She smiled at him as she walked up the few steps that were there, grateful that she didn't fall. She stopped in front of him and he smiled down at her, "You look beautiful."

"Always do," she shrugged but her hair turned a pink color.

He grinned, "Fair enough."

There was a giggle in the crowd and James and Ophelia looked over to see Nymphadora Tonks reaching out to Ophelia. Her hair changed to the same shade of pink and Ophelia laughed.

"Welcome," Dumbledore greeted before gesturing to the crowd. "Please be seated."

"First, I'd like to begin by welcoming everyone and thanking each and every one of you for being here on this joyous day. It is no coincidence that each of you are here today, and each of you were invited to be here because you represent someone important in the individual and collective lives of James and Ophelia.

"There isn't a better place for this ceremony to take place other than Hogwarts on this monumental day in not only are wedded-couple-to-be's lives, but also everyone attending who has had the greatest honor of witnessing this love story come to life.

"The most remarkable moment in life is when you meet the person who makes you feel complete. The person who makes the world a beautiful and magical place - even more so than we already know it to be. The person with whom you share a bond so special that it goes beyond normal relationships and becomes something so pure and so wonderful, that you can't imagine spending another day of your life without them. It is clear to anyone how deeply these two care and love for each other and I feel privileged to be here to witness their never ending commitment to a lifetime of love with each other.

"James and Ophelia have requested that I keep this speel as short as I can and kindly asked that I leave out any embarrassing stories from their last year at Hogwarts. Really, those were the best ones but I assured them I would keep the embarrassment to a minimum.

"As an outside observer of these two's developing love, it is clear to me that these two are the epitome of a perfect pairing because they are exactly what the other needs. They balance each other out and keep each other grounded while still being amazing individuals on their own. And together they make the perfect team-"

"Hey!" Sirius exclaimed and Remus gently elbowed him in the side.

"My apologies," Dumbledore shook his head with a chuckle. "The perfect trio."

"Better," he nodded approvingly. Ophelia rolled her eyes and James glanced over at Sirius who had a grin on his face.

"It was not a great surprise that these two ended up getting married because they are what we all strive to have. The perfect love, the perfect partner - or trio - and a happy ever after. So, without further ado...the vows."

James squeezed Ophelia's hands gently and she smiled up at him as Dumbledore went on, "Dearly beloved and honored guests: We are gathered together here to join James and Ophelia in the union of marriage. This contract is not to be entered into lightly, but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. The bride and groom have each prepared vows that they will read now."

"I know we agreed to quick and simple vows," James began and she raised an eyebrow at him. "But first, I have a confession to make." Her eyebrows pinched together in confusion, "When we met in the library, that wasn't the first time."

She shook her head in surprise, "It wasn't?"

He nodded. "It was back in third year," he explained. "I was being my normal, arrogant, asshole self, hexing some kid in the hall for the hell of it."

"Then you showed up and you yelled at me," he informed her. She remembered it now. He had been messing with a Ravenclaw kid in their year and she had had enough of his and friends constant bullying.

"I'm not entirely sure who the kid was but I guess I owe him a thank you," James went on. "Because if it wasn't for him, you never would have scolded me and called me, and I quote, 'an obnoxious twat who needs to grow up' and a few other things but I can't say them because there are children present. And had you never said that to me, I would still be that same kid and I wouldn't be up here with you."

"You're welcome, by the way," someone spoke up from the crowd and they turned to see Reggie with his hand in the air. "I was the kid you were hexing."

"You were?" James asked in surprise. Now that he thought back to it, the kid did look like him. "Well, I'm sorry, Reg. I was an ass"

"Eh, don't worry about it," he waved off. "It was how I became friends with Ophelia so really I owe you a thank you." He shrugged before adding, "Oh, and just so were clear, I still think you're an ass. Ophelia just makes it somewhat less so."

"Agreed," James nodded before facing Ophelia, "Which brings me to my next point.

"I really don't deserve you," he informed her. "I have done nothing that makes me even remotely worth your love and yet here we are. You, Ophelia Lovegood, are far too good for me and not a day goes by that I don't remember that.

"Today I vow to you that I will work my hardest to become the man that you deserve. I vow to become worthy of your love and I vow to love and cherish you more than any man has ever loved and cherished someone before.

"Because of you, I am well on my way to becoming the man I'm meant to be and for that, I thank you."

Ophelia promised herself she wouldn't cry and she was going to stick to that. He just made it so extremely hard.

"I never thought anyone could ever love me for who I was," Ophelia began with a shaky breath. No crying. "So I always had up a facade in front of everyone. But you...you could see right through it. The whole time you always know who I was, Loony Lovegood and all, and you loved me anyway.

"So I guess this is my promise to you that no matter how hard times get, I will always be here with you. I have no intention of going anywhere and I'll be damned if anyone tries to make me.

He smiled at her before she continued, "I vow to take you - and Sirius and Remus and Peter, because you're a package deal - as my family. And I vow to you - and in this case, only you - that I will love you till the end of time and make sure that you know it till the day I die.

"I'm hurt," Sirius announced and Ophelia huffed. James and Ophelia looked over to see him with his hand over his heart. "Here I was thinking we had something special."

She turned to face him, "I also vow that no matter how much he pisses me off and how tempting it may be, I won't kill your best friend."

"Good," James nodded. "Cause that would have been a bit of a deal breaker."

She stuck her hand up in between them and he happily took it in his own. She smiled, "Forever."

"And always," he nodded with a grin.

"And now: James, do you take Ophelia to be your wife?" Dumbledore asked him. "Do you-"

"Yes," James interrupted.

Dumbledore shot him a look, "I wasn't finished."

"The answer is yes to everything."

"And had I said that you were required to kill her?" he inquired and this pulled James's attention away from Ophelia.

James eyebrows furrowed in confusion, "Is that what you were going to say?"

"No," he answered simply. "Do you promise to love, honor, cherish, and protect her, forsaking all others, and holding only unto her forevermore?"

James turned back to Ophelia he was holding back a laugh and nodded, "Like I said before, yes, I do."

"And Ophelia, do you take James to be your husband?" he questioned, quickly adding. "I'm not done, so don't say anything yet, no matter how eager you may be." The crowd laughed before he continued, "Do you promise to love, honor, cherish, and protect him, forsaking all others, and holding only unto him forevermore?"

She nodded, "Always."

"Can I have the rings, please?" Dumbledore requested. Two red headed boys ran eagerly up the stairs, sticking their hands out. Bill handed the ring box over before nudging Charlie who then handed his over. Dumbledore smiled at the pair before taking it from him and the pair ran off.

"James and Ophelia will now exchange rings that symbolizes their love and commitment to each other. These rings are unique in that they unite you as one and mark the beginning of your long journey together. The ring is a symbol of a never ending love. It is the seal of the vows you have just taken to love each other without end.

"James," Dumbledore began, turning to face the boy. "Please place the ring on Ophelia's left hand and repeat after me: 'As a sign of my love.'"

He smiled at Ophelia as he slipped the ring onto her finger, "As a sign of my love."

"'That I have chosen you.'"

"That I have chosen you."

"'Above all else.'"

"Above all else."

"'With this ring, I thee wed.'"

"With this ring, I thee wed."

"And Ophelia," he continued, facing the girl. "Please place the ring on James's left hand and repeat after me: 'As a sign of my love.'"

"As a sign of my love."

"'That I have chosen you.'"

"That I have chosen you."

"'Above all else.'"

"Above all else."

"'With this ring, I thee wed.'"

"With this ring, I thee wed."

"And now by the power vested in me by the Ministry of Magic, it is with great honor that I declare you married. Go forth and live each day to the fullest. You may now-" Before Dumbledore could finish however, James pulled Ophelia toward him and pressed his lips to hers. "Or that works too."

James's hands found their way to her neck and she smiled into the kiss as Dumbledore finished, "May I present the newlyweds, James and Ophelia Potter."

As soon as they walked out of the room, James dragged Ophelia off to the library. "Oh, would you slow down, I'm going to fall in these stupid heels."

He rolled his eyes before he stopped. He bent down and placed his hands under her legs and lifted her up in his arms. He placed a kiss on her lips and she grinned before he continued their way to the library.

She opened the door for him and he placed her down on their table. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his wand.

"What are you doing?" she asked in confusion. James said nothing as he bent down over the table. "James-"

"Done!" he exclaimed and she looked down in confusion. He waved his wand over what he had written, searing it into the surface permanently.

She looked down at the table in confusion but when she saw what he had done, she grinned. "Really?"

He tapped where he had written 'OL+JP' inside a heart, "And now our love will be engraved here forever."

She smiled, "It's perfect."

"I thought so," he shrugged before she grabbed him by his tuxedo and pulled him toward her. She pressed her lips to his and he grinned, "How do you feel, Mrs. Potter?"

He rested his forehead against hers as she replied, "Better than I ever have before."

"I told you they'd be in here," Sirius informed someone and Ophelia as well as James looked over to see Sirius, Remus and Peter entering the room.

"We never disagreed with you," Peter pointed out.

"We just said that we should leave them alone," Remus added.

"Oh please, the second Ophelia agreed to marry James, she agreed to marry all four of us," Sirius reminded the group. "Now would you two newlyweds hurry it up, we have a party to get to."
