《我烦人的未婚夫》

"I like him? I've never liked anyone before so, how would I know?", Kit questioned himself as he furrowed his eyebrows. With that thought in mind, he replied to Beam's question with a message saying "I don't dislike him".

On the other hand,

"Why am I even asking him? My gosh", Beam sighed as he read the message.

"What's wrong?", Forth came out from his room as he made his way towards Beam who was on the couch.

"It's nothing. Don't worry about it", Beam smiled as he wrapped his arms around Forth's waist.

"I'm sure he will figure things out on his own", Beam mumbled as Forth ruffled his hair.

"Ugh. For some reason, I am irritated", Kit thought to himself as he laid his head down on the desk. He was about to close his eyes and take a super quick break when two loud and annoying humans came in through the door with a loud bang.

"Do you really need to slam the door?", Kit asked, annoyed as he shot a glare towards Beam who was the main culprit.

"Wow, chill. What's wrong?", Beam smiled with his hands in the air as if he was pointed at with guns.

"We bought some snacks and drinks. Want some?", Pha asked as he placed the plastic bag full of snacks and drinks on the desk.

"How about this?", Pha asked as he grabbed a snack from the plastic bag and shoved it to Kit.

"..."

"Why, do you not like KitKat?", Pha asked, unaware of how it reminded Kit of Ming. Kit shook his head as response to the question asked by his best friend as he stared at the snack in his hand.

"Oh right, let's go to the mall. You gotta help me pick a gift for Yo. It's his birthday soon, and I want the first gift from me to be a perfect one", Pha said with determination.

"My my, I guess none of my friends are single now", Beam laughed.

"I didn't know you only have us as your friends", Pha teased him.

"Hey hey, I have lots of friends", Beam defended himself.

"Well, you mean girl friends", Pha smirked.

"Shia, you better not say that in front of my boyfriend. You'll get me in trouble".

"He knew, didn't he that you love flirting with the ladies when we were in highschool as well as college before you met him", Pha laughed.

"Even so, don't remind him of it. He can be very jealous although he doesn't look like it", Beam laughed.

"Whatever, just come with me tomorrow. It's a day off", said Pha.

"Sure thing", Beam said with his thumb up meanwhile Kit was still lost in thoughts.

"Right, I'll remind the both of you with a call tomorrow. Especially him, he's not listening", Pha told Beam while he pointed at Kit who was not paying attention the whole time.

"We all know who he is having trouble with", Beam commented.

"Not like we can do anything about it. He needs to face it on his own", Pha added with a shrug.

"Well, that's true".

"What about this?", Beam asked as he pointed at one of the expensive watches in the shop.

"I don't think that's a great idea. I don't want him to think that I'm bribing him with expensive gift", Pha commented as he shook his head whereas Kit agreed with him.

"My goodness. We've been inside the mall for 4 hours now", Beam mumbled as he complained.

"Come on. It's been a while. It's for your best friend's future boyfriend".

"I'm missing my boyfriend", Beam fake cried as they entered another shop.

"Why don't you just get a bracelet or something", Kit suggested.

"That's not a bad idea".

"I'm going to the restroom. You guys should go ahead", Kit announced as he left them in the shop.

"P'Kit?", Kit looked up from the sink when he heard a familiar voice calling out to him. One that it very familiar. When he looked up from the sink, there were Ming and his own reflection in the mirror.

"It's you. It's been a while", Kit said.

"...Yeah", was Ming's only response.

"So, we're you busy?", Kit asked, curious as to why didn't the younger male contact him recently.

"Y-Yeah, kinda", Ming answered as he avoid meeting Kit's gaze.

"Then...excuse me", Kit said as he stepped out from the restroom and that was when Ming came chasing after him again.

"Wai--"

"Oh my, what took you so long?", Kit looked forward and found a pretty girl sitting on the bench not far away from them. She stood up as she brushed through her hair and made her war towards Ming before clinging to his arm with a smile.

"You met someone you know?", she asked as she took a glance at Kit.

"Busy, huh?", Kit muttered as he walked away without greeting the girl.
