"Wait, so you're now engaged to a guy that you used to know in the past?".

"Isn't that good? Your mom told me that the two of you were very close", Pha added.

"OH, right. She was giggling when she mentioned that he proposed to you back then. And also that you gladly accepted it", Beam laughed.

"It's not funny! I was so young back then", Kit frowned.

"Alright alright. I won't laugh anymore...Pft hahahahaha".

"Beware of flying scalpels", Kit warned as he glared at him which immediately cause Beam to shut up.

"Even so, your mom is right. You should give it a chance. It wouldn't hurt to try knowing him first", Pha advised.

"I already don't like him", Kit mumbled.

"Oh?".

"He's flirtatious. Seems like a playboy to me", Kit explained his thought.

"Hmm...",  Pha hummed as he looked down at his phone while Beam continued texting his boyfriend as he had no idea what to say to his best friend.

Just then, he received a message from an unknown number.

Hey there ^_^

Kit raised a brow as he didn't remember giving out his number to anyone recently.

"Who are you?", he muttered as he sent the text out.

Within a few seconds, he received a reply from the person and it was then revealed that it was Ming Kwan.

Ai'Kitty, it's me, MingKwan

How did you get my number?

Oh? It's from my mother in law 😉

"Really now? Mae what did you do???", Kit thought as he facepalm himself.

Anyway, should we go on a date?

Who wants to go on date with you😠😠

We should use this chance to get to know each other more

"He has a point there", Kit was startled when he heard Beam said, he turned his head and found his best friend standing behind him.

Shia! Ai'Beam!!", Kit exclaimed.

"Arai?", Beam took a step back when Kit tried to hit him.

"Stop peeking over my shoulder!", Kit scolded as he looked back at his phone and replied to Ming's texts.

So where do you want to meet?

Who told you I'm going?! 😡

"Shameless!", Kit thought.

Then you're not?

I'm going only because you're persistent

That's good enough😊

"I don't have any place in mind".

Where do you want to meet then???

Anywhere is fine

I'll come pick you up from work tomorrow then

"From work??! No way! Beam and Pha will make fun of me for sure", Kit thought as he shuddered at the thought of it.

Just pick me up from my apartment

Oh? That's even better
