#18 - Reasons to Survive

"Did I do the right thing?"

"I see Dokja-hyungnim has created something extraordinary." Then, the smile widened until it curved his pretty garnett eyes.

"I'd say that's more than 'doing the right thing', Dokja-hyungnim."

[Raon Miru's POV]

Blue eyes stared at the equally blue sky endlessly for hours.

The black dragon Raon Miru was now sitting in their family's sacred place. Enjoying the scenery surrounding it. It was filled with a sea of flowers, an artificial lake, and several shady trees.

A smile was etched on the young 11-year-old's face. That this place represented a spot that people enjoyed. So peaceful, calm and full of love.

Blue eyes closed. Beginning to imagine a scene where if his human were still around, they would have a picnic here. A thick blanket under a shady tree, lots of pillows, cakes, snacks, drinks and story time for Raon, On and Hong.

Not far from them would be Choi Han who watched with a smile and then continued sparring with Lock and Hannah. Then Ron would prepare tea, Beacrox would prepare food and Eruhaben would sit leaning against a tree reading a parchment scroll with a relaxed face.

Beside Eruhaben, there would be Rosalyn, Mary, and Jack discussing magic and its history. At the lake would also be a trio of whales, siblings Witira and Paseton, along with Archie- who would be challenging Toonka and the Queen of the Forest to a water duel.

On Ron's side, at the chairs and table that had been set up, sat Alberu with Taylor and Bud chatting about their work.

Still, the source of peace came in the form of the young man they had missed so much. Whose image had faded from their minds, bringing Raon to the realization that he was leaning against the tombstone of his human, Cale Henituse.

"Father..." Raon called softly.

Slit blue eyes began to glaze over. Arms moved to hug his knees and rested his head on the folds of his arms. His face turned towards the tombstone with a sad gaze.

A week had passed since the historic incident. Not only did it break the historical record of inter-dimensional knowledge, it also brought the good news that they knew the coordinates of the world that the human was currently occupying.

... even if the human was still alive, in that world, Raon still missed the presence of the most important man in his life. Four years had passed and Raon knew nothing more about his beloved human.

How was he doing in that world? What happened to him? Will his human look older? Is his human doing well? There were thousands of questions running through his mind every day, and every night with only dead-end answers.

Then, there were inevitably some things that bothered the Black Dragon.

Compared to others who were so enthusiastic about continuing research to higher peaks, Raon on the other hand wondered about the 'regret' he felt from a foreign presence.

Why was that figure regretful?

Is it because it has been holding his human captive?

Is that figure a god in that world?

Then that mysterious figure also knows his human? How could that be?

The God of shi-Death gave an explanation, that his human could heal in that world because there was a fragment of his soul left there. Which in this world had been depleted... by his sacrifice in order to destroy the bastard White Star.

....his human would pinch Raon if he was caught speaking so crudely.

The little dragon chuckled longingly.

Then, his brows furrowed again in confusion.

What did the God of Death mean by his humans soul fragments being in that world? Was that world the same world as Kim Roksoo's? But... Raon doubted that last theory for some reason.

That annoying god had also said, inexplicably, there was a story about his human in that world. Because that world runs and revolves based on this system of 'stories'. That the source of power from him was also a 'story'. Slit blue eyes sparkled coldly remembering that explanation.

His human was weak and that troublesome world would certainly harm his human!

"-on-nim!" The 11-year-old body gasped. He stared in surprise at the figure that had broken his reverie.

"Strong Choi Han," the little boy murmured languidly. Making the black-haired man furrow his brow in worry.

"Why-, Raon-nim? Do you miss Cale-nim?" Choi Han asked gently. The Black Dragon only gave a small nod. The swordsman was silent for a moment then moved to carry Raon into his arms.

The little dragon immediately wrapped his arms around his human knight's broad shoulders, leaning against them with teary eyes.

"Strong Choi Han..."

"Yes, Raon-nim?"

The dark eyes that now had a twinkle turned away from the teleportation paper they were about to use.

"What if..." lips pursed nervously. Unsure of his own opinion, the eyes began to glaze over.

"What if we hurt Father there?"

Choi Han was silent for a moment. The relaxed atmosphere was shattered with awkwardness.

"Why would we hurt Cale-nim? We never, not even until the day we die, would I ever have such intentions," Choi Han replied, sounding confused but his voice trembling. Instantly affected by the concern that rose from Raon's words.

"Of course, Choi Han. This dragon has never doubted your word, knight sworn to my human," explained Raon, his voice serious, authoritative and full of confidence. Traits that he'd inherited from Cale, though more aggressive.

"It's just that, do you remember what that annoying god of death said?" Choi Han nodded curtly. The man then lowered Raon back to the ground and sat down opposite not far from the grave of 'Cale Henituse'.

"There are a few things I can deduce from the Death God's information," began Raon, raising his index finger.

"First, this world has a distinctive authority. Their own system, just like the nature of their world? It's like how our world has several gods watching over it." The black-robed man nodded seriously along to Raon's explanation.

"Second, Father has a 'fragment of his soul' because of a story in that world. It became an opening for the God of Death to heal Father there. That means, Father was there and his presence affected the storyline of that world." Choi Han's hands were clenched tightly. They never expected that the prick of the branch would not only require Cale's blood... but also spiritually pierce the red-haired man's soul.

Making them terrorize the tree mercilessly in the early days of Cale's death.

"Is that Kim Roksoo's world?" The dragon in question shook his head doubtfully.

"From Father's story, Kim Roksoo's world doesn't have a system of stories like this. Their world was only destroyed by monster attacks and dungeons." The listening knight bit his lip with a slightly frustrated face.

"Third, there's someone protecting Father there," Raon muttered, almost unsure of his own words. His slit blue eyes glazed over again.

"What do you mean, Raon-nim?" Those glazed eyes flickered briefly to Choi Han.

Could he say this to the man who swore eternal loyalty to his human? He didn't want to ruin the happiness of the rest of his family... but... his heart wasn't at ease.

"Does Choi Han remember... the person we sensed behind the portal?" Asked the black dragon doubtfully. Choi Han nodded slowly. His expression was emotionless, completely blank. It was very frightening.

"I... felt a sense of 'regret' from that person for a while." Choi Han's face contorted in disbelief for a moment, unsure of what he was hearing and Raon's heart sank somewhat at that reaction.

Of course! Raon could understand that reaction.

They were all desperate to see their beloved humans. Who wouldn't be? They all longed for it!

But, still... what if their wishes ended up hurting their human?

"Does Raon-nim trust that stranger more?" small hands trembled at Choi Han's cold voice. He reluctantly shook his head while tears were already flowing out of his eyes. Surprising the black-haired man who quickly wiped the tears away.

His expression, which was originally cold, became full of sadness.

"What exactly is going on, Raon-nim?" he asked softly and Raon's tears broke out.

"I-I'm scared!" Choi Han hugged the young dragon again.

"T-that person is feeling sorry! *sob... l-like h-he wanted to protect Father? *sob! I-I don't want to hurt him! Huwaaaaa-! Ungh-hiks!" said Raon, his voice breaking into heartbreaking sobs. It made Choi Han's heart ache to hear it.

This little boy must have been holding that thought the whole week, without telling anyone.

"F-forgive me for reacting like that, Raon-nim," Choi Han whispered regretfully. Kissing the top of the little dragon's head lovingly. Hoping to calm the child with the fragile heart for a moment.

"I w-want to m-meet Father! But I don't want to hurt him!"

The crying lasted for 10 minutes.

Raon let go of his burden, crying it all out in Choi Han's warm embrace. Grateful that the other man finally wanted to understand.

"T-then..." The hug was released, the slit blue eyes that were still wet with tears sparkled with determination.

"L-let's c-change the direction of o-our destination, s-strong C-choi Han," the little guy insisted though his voice was still huffy. Choi Han smiled gently and ruffled the black hair with navy blue luster affectionately.

"Okay, Raon-nim."

"W-we have to reach the h-highest authority of that world first," murmured the little black dragon, starting to think and the knight was proud to see the genius Cale-nim's foster child was.

"I-if we had permission from the highest authority, we wouldn't harm Father... w-we already tried to force our way in..."

"M-maybe because we forced our way in, t-that's why that person stopped us? To not h-hurt Father?"

Choi Han's eyes widened at that sentence.

Although it was just a theory, it didn't mean it couldn't be what had happened.

"Let's go to Eruhaben-nim, Raon-nim."

[Cale Henituse's POV]

-BUK!

Cale gaped at the sight of their party leader, Kim Dokja, easily hitting Yoo Jonghyuk, throwing the other man's body 5 meters away.

"Go Go Go! Dokja-ssi! Fight for your position (dominate)!"

"MASTEEERRRRRRR!!! DON'T LOSE!!!"

"You guys..." Cale was speechless at the two women beside him. Were they not worried about the condition of their two strong men?

"Which one has been with Cheonsa-Oppa for a long time?"

"Dokja-hyung! They've been together for a long time and will always be together!"

"Not my Oppa?"

"Your Oppa is trying to steal Dokja-hyung's partner!"

"But your Dokja-ahjussi is ugly! He's more perfect for my Oppa!"

"That's a lie! Dokja-hyung is so handsome!"

"No matter! Whoever makes Cheonsa-Oppa happy, I choose him!"

The red-haired man let out a long sigh.

Why was the ending like this? Trying to make Cale choose between those two strong black-haired men. What a frightening thought! Imagine if it did happen, wouldn't Cale become the target of the other man's revenge? For not choosing him?

Wouldn't being together be stronger? (Somewhere in another reality a mass of readers screamed and cried yes! Ot3! Lmao)

"Why do you all want to separate us?" Everyone who was busy arguing heartedly looked at Cale. Making the reddish-brown-eyed man gulp nervously.

Why were they looking at him like that?

"Cale-ya... do you like both of them?" asked Sangah in a careful voice. Cale's eyes glanced confusedly at the bright brown-haired woman, then calmly nodded.

"Of course. I like you guys too. We're stronger together," Cale's wide, sweet smile was also deceptively innocent. (In that other reality the previously cheering readers faces smacked into their palms)

However, for some reason there was a gloomy aura floating around them, even the three small children participated.

"...Cale-Oppa... so dense..."(the alternate reality readers grumbled in agreement but still loved Cale as they returned to silence)

"That indicates our beautiful donsaeng is also pure in heart and mind." Sangah nodded at Heewon's words.

"I'm not pure," Cale grumbled somewhat in protest, being met with a look of disbelief.

"Cheonsa-Oppa... so humble!" I'm not.

"I know, right? Cale-hyung also has the warmest hugs ever!" Well, is that why Gilyoung likes to hug him?

"My Oppa likes pretty things." I'm not pretty.

['Supreme Ruler Yoo Jonghyuk' has been removed from the match.]

"YESSSHHHHH! THAT'S MY BESTIE! DOKJA-BROOOO-!" at Heewon's exclamation, all eyes looked at Dokja who was currently smiling awkwardly, while trying to resuscitate Jonghyuk who was already lying unconscious.

[Congratulations! Incarnation 'Kim Dokja' has passed all the trials of 'The Absolute Throne'!]

"Cale!"

The face of the figure who called out to him instantly brightened. The wall that separated them then cracked, shattered and disappeared in a pseudo fragment. Making the red-haired man walk over to the man.

"Dokja-hyungnim."

"Are you alright?" asked Cale in his usual calm voice, though his eyes held a hint of genuine concern. After all, Dokja was his protector in this world. Cale had a responsibility to protect this man.

He received a head rub in return. His heart pounded as the man gave him a small smile of gratitude.

"Thank you for asking, Cale." The redhead nodded absentmindedly. His eyes then looked at Jonghyuk who was unconscious.

"Master-! Kyaaak-!" Cale's heart nearly dropped when Jihye turned Jonghyuk's face to face them but the man glared. It made Dokja burst out laughing.

"Did he pass out with his eyes open?" Heewon asked while holding back her laughter.

"That's surprising," Cale muttered. Still feeling how fast his heart was beating.

At his side, the Reader was still chuckling. But had moved closer so that his own body was almost leaning against Cale's.

"Cale."

"Hm?"

Dokja did not answer. Instead, he let his cheek rest on the crown of his head of red hair. Closing his eyes and enjoying the peaceful moment to soothe his longing.

"Is Dokja-hyungnim tired?"

"Not really," the other man replied in a soft voice. Cale's eyes were shaded. Letting the taller figure wrap his left arm around his waist, almost half-hugging him.

They did not notice the warm gaze of the other group. Watching the interaction between the two men with a smile.

"Attention all Seoul Incarnations!"

Cale regretted losing this peaceful moment as Dokja jerked up from his back. The gentle face disappeared into its usual cold expression, as did all the gazes that were looking in Dokkaebi's direction.

"The new master of 'The Absolute Throne' has been born!" exclaimed the Dokkaebi in charge, hovering above Dokja with Cale at his side. Those words made all the incarnations present whisper in disbelief, fear, envy, resentment, and displeasure.

"Wait a minute."

Cale glanced at Dokja with a calm, expressionless look, though he was puzzled by the man's actions. Was the Reader going against the true scenario of the novel he was reading?

"What else?"

"What's the rush, hm? I'm not even seated on the throne yet, why can you announce right away like that?" Cale then turned his head to look at the throne in question. The building did not look grand, but it had a certain aura. With golden lining in every corner and a staircase leading to the seat in the center, the throne.

"What for, are you going to claim it soon?" Dokja grinned lightly.

"Hmm, I see. Tell me, what power would I gain by claiming this throne?"

Cale listened intently to Dokkaebi's explanation and frowned at the end. It sounded too good to be true. Especially since Dokja had always said not to trust Dokkaebi's word.

"So, you're saying this throne can be used regardless of 'reasonable limits'?" At this question, Cale could feel something was about to happen.

"Gilyoung, Yoosung, Mia," he called in a whispered voice for the three small children to approach. Reddish brown eyes glanced at Heewon, Sangah and Jihye. Giving silent instructions and signals to be careful which Sangah thankfully understood quickly. Smart woman.

"-If you don't stop saying nonsense, I'll destroy this throne!" Dokkaebi growled as Dokja continued to refuse and stall for time.

"Cale-hyung."

"Cheonsa-Oppa."

"You guys get ready," Cale muttered. His hand patted each of the three children's shoulders, earning serious nods from their faces. It made him feel nostalgic for a moment, reminding him of On, Hong and Raon.

"Just destroy it."

With a cold, indifferent look on his face, Dokja faced all the incarnations gathered on the streets of Gwanghwamun.

"Listen everyone-" Lightning thundered from behind the dark clouds. The silence made the Reader's voice echo throughout the audience.

"I will never sit on the Absolute Throne."

Then the rain of lightning came down in torrents. Everyone was too shocked to react to Dokja's proclamation, which still had a silent expression and an intimidating gaze.

"What did you just say?!" growled Dokkaebi, ominous veins beginning to appear around his forehead. Along with a lot of lightning that boomed from the ceiling of the Seoul Dome.

The dark-haired man chuckled for a moment. His face lowered with a sigh and then looked up slowly. Along with a hand that flicked his hair back, making his handsome face clearly exposed to the lightning rays. While his eyes sparkled like dazzling stars combined with a mocking grin at the Dokkaebi.

Wow... Cale was stunned by Dokja's expression.

"I'm not interested in the Throne."

His taunt echoed in Cale's mind. It sounded haunting, so strong and manly. It made his heart skip a beat now, while his cheeks warmed with a faint redness.

Then his eyes looked at him, ignoring Dokkaebi's angry babbling above them. There was a small smile there, while his star-flecked eyes conveyed the warmth that had always been reserved for Cale alone.

The man's lips moved slowly.

Get ready, Cale.

Cale nodded slowly, adding more coins to increase his strength.

It was fine to be short on coins now. For the safety of himself and his group, Cale could harvest coins in other ways.

The most important thing now was to survive.

ARE WE GOING TO FIGHT AGAIN, CALE?! LIGHTNING! WE WHIP THEM WITH LIGHTNING AND DAMN FIRE!

HAHAHAHAH WATER! WE WILL XXXXXXX DROWN THEM ALL WITH OUR XXXXXXX WATER!

I'll protect us all, Cale.

I'm counting on all of you.

[Kim Dokja's POV]

If Kim Dokja had used 'The Absolute Throne', he would never have reached the final scenario of this story.

The Reader's eyes drifted away from the building, looking at the Incarnations that had already issued protests. Their faces were filled with various negative emotions and the most dominating ones were hatred, envy and displeasure.

"Why won't you sit there?!"

"You selfish bastard!"

"Why don't you want to be the Ruler?! "

"I should have asked you, damn it," he said coldly, satisfied as everyone flinched at the sound of his voice.

"Why do you want me to be 'Ruler', hm?" the smile that appeared on his face made everyone freeze. However, somehow the negativity generated by their expressions did not frighten Dokja. On the contrary, he felt very safe now.

His back felt protected by the warm aura surrounding him, even though it was raining so hard.

There was a pair of beautiful garnett eyes watching him from behind.

His Hanibaram.

"What if for example, I kill you after becoming the 'Ruler' you want?"

Silence engulfed the surroundings. The smile on Dokja's face faded into a blank expression.

"Same for everyone here. Have you forgotten that we didn't originally live in the Kingdom era? But-"

His head tilted slightly with an intimidating aura. The hair he pushed back made his vision clear.

"-why are you all acting like subordinates of the 'Ruler'?"

Dokja let out a breath, then took his position.

"I don't want to be the Ruler who has to represent bad humans like you," he said in a low, hauntingly echoing voice.

"That is why I will never claim 'The Absolute Throne'."

Black, star-speckled eyes glanced at the sky, "And I don't want lowly constellations like you to be my sponsors either."

The reader stepped back for a moment. Feeling everyone start to flinch at his movement. The 28-year-old then looked at all his companions, pleased to see that all were ready as well. Cale really was very reliable.

"But-" the black cloak was lifted, and Dokja lowered his head while his hand reached for his sword. Everyone froze as a pair of dark eyes looked at them in menacing silence.

"Nor will I allow anyone to touch the throne."

Yeah... shit.

Dokja knew it would end up like this. With eyes previously moved by his explanation, they were now all darkened and tempted by the 'Throne'.

And as everyone moved to attack, a thunderclap rumbled so loudly that everyone gasped in fear. Dokja was no different.

The echo was so loud that it made their hearts rumble.

Footsteps could then be clearly heard in the fear and chaos.

A unique natural scent followed in their wake. Along with the beautiful red hair that began to flow with the water, it was hypnotizing.

"All of you-"

Stunned, Dokja watched as Cale walked forward and covered his body with his own. At the same time, his two earrings shone brightly in a golden red color. So did the lightning that began to echo again.

"-don't approach Dokja-hyungnim or I'll burn you."

-CTAR!

Everyone gasped in fear as lightning struck in the middle between Dokja's group and the Incarnations.

"W-we're not afraid of you!"

"W-we outnumber you!"

"Why are you protecting him?! "

Then Dokja saw one person after another begin to approach him. However, Cale didn't flinch, as if he knew those approaching at a slower pace had no malicious intent.

"Representative-nim, sometimes you sound more like the original Protagonist than Yoo Jonghyuk," Minseob chuckled nervously, handing over the artifact he had requested earlier.

"Well, Yoo Jonghyuk wouldn't do anything this crazy," Sungkook muttered with fear.

"Dokja-ssi do the right thing. I agree with you that there are still some things that should not be forgotten." Sangah smiled, taking up a position to Dokja's left.

"Step over my corpse if you want to pass, you bastard," Heewon said in a frightening voice, standing in front of Dokja, just to Cale's right.

"We're with Dokja-hyung!"

"Cheonsa-Oppa! Be careful!"

"I'll keep Oppa here with Jihye-noona."

The three small children took their respective cover positions.

"This time, let me help you," the Ruler of Beauty said with a small smile.

"The result of my heart reading upon seeing you has already convinced me," continued the Maitreya Ruler with a serious face.

Seeing all the people surrounding him to protect him made something crack inside Dokja. Black eyes gazed at all the backs and faces present, feeling the walls he had built slowly begin to crumble under a wave of relief and warmth.

They... decided to protect him... of their own free will, didn't they?

[The Constellation 'Demon-like Judge of Fire' held back tears of joy at such a heartfelt scene!]

"Dokja-hyungnim." The call distracted him, seeing the red-haired master look over his shoulder. There was a smile on his face as the artifacts surrounding the young man's body shone brightly with blue, red and white.

"Do what you need."

"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! YOU DAMN BUGS! ATTACK THEM ALL!" growled Dokkaebi and at that cry, all of the opposing Incarnations moved to attack.

However-

[Personal Attribute 'The Indestructible Shield/Wood (Lv.???)' is activated!]

Angelic feathers fluttered in the air as a white shield with a silvery glow appeared. Creating a separate space between Dokja's group and the Incarnations. The Reader's eyes widened at the massive size of the shield created, covering even The Absolute Throne!

"Cale!" he called out, momentarily forgetting the task he needed to accomplish. The image of the other young man vomiting blood rang in his mind.

"Don't do it, CALE!!!" growled Heewon, hitting people who approached the shield. Some also attacked from far away, but the shield did not crack and was still solid.

"It's okay, hyungnim! Noonim! I can handle it!" His reddish-brown eyes burned like fire, while the forehead shone beautifully to match the strength of his shield.

"Finish it quickly, Dokja-hyungnim!" Reluctantly, Dokja focused on the throne, with two objects in his hands. On the other hand, he could feel Dokkaebi's shocked and disbelieving gaze watching him.

[Special Feature 'Ganpyeongui', 'Echo of the Stars' has been activated].

Hang in there everyone. I'll finish this quickly!

[Shin Yoosung's POV]

Shin Yoosung found herself frozen in fear as both sides began to attack each other.

Although she was protected inside Cheonsa-Oppa's beautiful and powerful shield, she was still scared.

"Hey! Are you scared?!" exclaimed the annoying boy's voice, standing next to Sangah-noona with one hand outstretched. Her eyes followed the movement of that hand, widening at the few insects that disturbed their attacker's focus.

"It's okay to be scared, Yoosung-ah," Sangah-noona smiled soothingly, so pretty and trustworthy. Golden threads shot out from her hands, strangling several Incarnations cruelly and mercilessly.

"Yoosung?"

Cheonsa-Oppa.

The 11-year-old little girl's heart trembled at the small smile of the red-haired man.

"Calm down."

The words sounded very soft, lilting but calming the little girl's fears quickly. Her eyes began to regain light and nodded at Cheonsa-Oppa's side. She would protect the one who had been so kind to take Yoosung away with him.

"Look at me," said the man with garnett eyes, a little smile on his face.

The two hands that had been raised to steady the shield, one of them then moved upwards. Right at the sky that was rumbling eerily with golden rays behind the dark clouds. At the same time, the young man's beautiful earrings also shone brightly, making his eyes and hair sparkle like fire in the midst of heavy rain.

[Personal Attribute 'Fire of Destruction/Fire (Lv.???)' activated!]

"Destroy everything, Cheapskate," Cheonsa-Oppa muttered, lowering his hand in a graceful motion. Resulting in various lightning bolts striking the surrounding buildings. Creating so much chaos, fear and intimidation.

[The Constellation 'Abyssal Black Flame Dragon' cheered loudly admiring the battle!]

[500 coins sponsored!]

Yoosung marveled at the man's strength and gaped in amazement.

The attack caused several Incarnations to retreat to not attack. Realizing how much of a gap their strength was with that of Cheonsa-Oppa's.

However, seeing some of the attackers still not giving up resulted in a click of the tongue from the red-haired man. His necklace then glowed bright blue, stopping the rain from falling around him, and defying gravity. Two hands then moved forward, making a circular motion and smiling sweetly.

[Personal Attribute 'Sky Eating Water/Water (Lv.???)' activated!]

The surrounding water began to gather, creating a vortex around the disappearing shield, rising upwards against the sky then descending like a huge water wave that made all the Incarnations move away from The Absolute Throne.

"Cheonsa-Oppa!"

Yoosung exclaimed, her cheeks blushing sweetly while her eyes sparkled brightly. The adorable little girl's form reminded Cale of On showing her childlike side.

"Very cool, Cale-hyung!!!" the little girl hugged her Cheonsa-Oppa tightly. Followed by the laughter of the boy named Gilyoung who hugged his other side. Cheonsa-Oppa's hands reflexively patted their heads.

Then, the flow of rainwater after Cale's water wave stopped.

All eyes turned to Kim Dokja, now holding the brightly glowing artifact.

"I will summon a Constellation."

[Using Echo of the Stars, you can summon High Level Constellations.]

"I want to summon the 'Seven Stars of the Big Dipper'."

All of the remaining Incarnation's eyes witnessed how Dokkaebi's face, which had been silent, was now terrifying with shrunken eye slits. Anger filled veins were also popping up around his forehead.

[Star Navigation has begun.]

The space around them suddenly darkened and was filled with a starry sky. However, amongst it all, there were seven dots that shone extremely brightly.

Yoosung's eyes stared at the stars. They were indeed bright, but-

-why did Cheonsa-Oppa look even brighter?

His form gave off a soft silvery glow, with jewel-like reddish-brown eyes that gazed at the sky with a look of... nostalgia ?

[The Constellation 'Secretive Plotter' smiled behind his hand.]

"Cheonsa-Oppa?"

"Yes, Yoosung?"

A small hand moved to grasp the hem of the sweater the man was wearing. There was something about this expression and white light that bothered her little heart. Although she knew that the red-haired man was still standing by her side, but why did the look in his eyes imply such a distance between them?

"You'll still be here, won't you?"

Asked the little girl in a soft voice. Eyes began to glaze over as the silvery glow had yet to disappear. It was as if the shining stars were calling out to something within Cheonsa-Oppa but, Yoosung didn't know that.

"Sure, Yoosung," the fire-eyed man said with a small, warm smile.

"I'll be here until □■□■□-" Huh? What did you say?

"Cheonsa-?"

"Dokja-hyungnim." Their eyes watched the other black-haired man who started coughing up blood. However, his hand was raised to stop those who were about to move closer.

"Big Dipper Stars!" Kim Dokja-ahjussi's cry echoed out, making the remaining Incarnations watch with hypnotized eyes. The battle was over with their crushing defeat against Cheonsa-Oppa's forces. Now, all eyes were focused on the important figure Cheonsa-Oppa was protecting.

Kim Dokja.

Something inside Yoosung trembled at the sound of that name.

"I want to ask for help in cutting the Constellation Link. Lend me your sword power!" Dokja-ahjussi's gaze was full of determination, even though his face was now pale. However, his hand held the hilt of the sword tightly.

"-I'm not looking for a fight-"

"-I just want to cut the connection between the constellation and this item-"

Dokja-ahjussi coughed and Yoosung felt Cheonsa-Oppa's arm tremble. Restraining himself from moving to grab the other man.

Oh...

Isn't it obvious?

Who is Cheonsa-Oppa's closest and favorite?

[The Constellation 'Demon-like Judge of Fire' giggles at her favorite Incarnation scene!]

"I'm the one who will judge it," coughed the black-haired man, wiping the blood marks on his lips with a baleful look.

Then the black-robed man nodded, standing up straight, directly facing Cheonsa-Oppa who widened his eyes. Yoosung saw Dokja-ahjussi smile slightly for a moment, his eyes not leaving Cheonsa-Oppa.

"Let's begin."

The sword began to glow with a bright red color, a golden sheen like fire with a powerful and terrifying aura.

[The Constellation 'Secretive Plotter' felt nostalgic.]

Then, at the same time, the silvery glow surrounding Cheonsa-Oppa disappeared. The little girl looked at the aura with confused eyes, before widening to feel the power moving towards Dokja-ahjussi.

The other man also looked equally surprised.

[S+ Level Item 'Four-Tiger-Evil-Cutting Sword' evolves into Star Relic 'Four-Tiger-Evil-Cutting Sword'!]

[ "You will die here." ]

The voice sounded faint, but Cheonsa-Oppa's face contorted in displeasure.

"I won't let you."

[The stigma of 'The Person Who Loved by Gods and Nature (Lv. ???)' is activated.]

Yoosung then witnessed the silver glow that had originally surrounded the red-haired man's body, transferring to Dokja-ahjussi's body. It startled the man and caught his serious expression off guard for a moment. The pale face he saw also gradually took on a healthy color.

Then-

[Stigm ■■■■ 'The ■■■■■■■■■■ (Lv. ???)' is activated!]

[Third Person's POV]

What was that stigma just now?

Cale could feel something unfamiliar overflowing out of his soul, slowly merging with other forces to protect Dokja from the effects of accommodating the constellation's power.

He could also hear the cry of the constellation that Dokja had summoned. Something that Cale realized when he saw the other Party members' confused faces.

What was happening to him?

Cale! You have to calm down! Glutton exclaimed with concern. Her voice echoed in the young man's mind, making him refocus on Dokja.

"-Is he really going to destroy the throne?! "

"-we have to stop them-!"

"-what the fuck is goin' on-!"

"STOP THEM ALL!!!"

The remaining incarnations, watching as Dokja began to destroy The Absolute Throne, rose to attack. However, they were immediately blocked by Heewon, Sangah and the other two Rulers and their troops. With Cale calmly activating a shield to protect the scope around the throne.

"DOKJA-SSI!!!"

All eyes watched as the Reader, in his final move that produced a loud noise, split the throne and smashed it to pieces. At the same time, a golden light came out dazzling the eyes. Making all close their eyes.

[The protection covering 'The Absolute Throne' had disappeared.]

Kim Dokja turned to face the crowd.

Still with the ethereal silvery glow surrounding him. His serious face was expressionless, though his eyes sparkled with satisfaction.

[The sub-scenario has been forcibly terminated.]

"You..."

['Unknown God' has realized the revolution of this world.]

"YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'VE DONE, YOU DAMN LOWLY INSECT-?!"

['F ■■i ■n ■■is ■e ■■e' looked at this world with calm eyes.]

Cale's eyes widened momentarily at the screen notification.

That foreign constellation-!

[ "Face the storm of plausibility you're about to endure, Incarnation 'Kim Dokja'." ]

Then black tendrils began to emerge from under Dokja's body, as the man fell to his knees and coughed up blood.

Focus, Cale!

Dokja-hyungnim is the priority now!

"ARRGHHH-!!!"

"Dokja-hyung-?"

Cale's heart raced when he saw the blood coming out of Dokja's mouth. It was thick and black in color. His heart sank as he realized that this was the image of him that his family had always seen.

"Dokja-hyungnim!"

"Hahaha, surely you don't think that your damn actions don't come without consequences, huh-?"

"Shut up, asshole."

Dokkaebi quickly fell silent as a pair of fiery garnett eyes bore into him. Along with a wave of natural authority power that emanated terrifyingly from the foreign incarnation.

Who is tha... w-why? Why did he only just realize the presence of that red-haired Incarnation?!

"Hang in there, hyungnim."

The voice that almost resembled a whisper pierced through the pain Dokja was now experiencing. It felt like the Reader's body was being burned by black flames, with the pain so intense that it almost took away his sanity. However-

[Sti ■■ma ■tion 'The ■■■■■■■■■■ (Lv. ???)' is activated and echoes loudly!]

-there was a silvery aura that began to appear in his hand. Black starry eyes widened in the blur of his vision. At the linking of his hand with Hanibaram's.

"C-Cale...?" Hanibaram? My home?

"Yes, hyungnim. It's me," the voice replied very softly. It was as if it was holding together the Dokja that had been shattered into pieces by this pain.

"C-call n-my name..." Please?

"Kim Dokja. It's me, Cale Henituse."

As the silvery aura that surrounded him instantly embraced Dokja's soul, so too did his vision become clear.

Dokja's heart trembled at the smile on Cale's face. His red hair was wet from the rain, but clung softly like a carving around his cheeks, chin and slender neck. The pale alabaster skin was tinged with a sweet red hue, softly lit by the ruby earrings in his ears.

"Kim Dokja. It's me, Hanibaram."

At that remark, so too did the pain begin to lessen.

[The Constellation 'Maritime War God' is looking at the Incarnation 'Kim Dokja'.]

Kim Dokja was transfixed.

At the collection of stars shining brightly behind the body of Cale Henituse's form who was looking at him with a warm twinkle.

The pain he had suffered was also slowly disappearing.

However, among all the screen notifications from the constellations, right from Cale's eyes, Dokja could feel the strange presence of Hanibaram.

[St ■g ■■■■tion ' ■■■■■■■■■■■■■' is looking at Incarnation 'Kim Dokja'.]

Who is that... ?

"Dokja-hyungnim."

[ ■ig ■■lla ■■on ' ■■■■■■■■■■■■■' is looking at 'you'.]

Cale... ?

Reddish-brown eyes that sparkled like jewels distracted the Reader's entire attention. Along with the gentle breeze washing away the pain, turning all the confusion into inner calm.

The presence of Cale Henituse kneeling in front of him felt like its own 'world' for a moment.

"You'll be fine."

The smile felt like an oasis in this wealth of pain.

Kim Dokja was lulled and the man nodded with his heart filled with relief.

"We'll be fine."

Whoever you are, Cale... doesn't change anything.

Dokja rested his forehead against the heart of Natures temple. Letting its warmth wash away the fatigue he was suffering.

You are still my home, Cale.

.
.
.

[Third Person's POV]

Everyone was silent for a moment.

At the presence of various constellations shining brightly in the night sky.

[ "Is this the story you want to create?" ]

Kim Dokja moved reluctantly from his backrest with Cale, eyes looking up at the sky with a surprised look. Meanwhile, the red-haired man began to rise from his knees, intent on protecting Dokja's vulnerable form from whatever attacks might come.

[ "We'll be watching you, 'King of A Kingless World'." ]

Then everyone left simultaneously.

[Main Scenario #4 has come to a forced end.]

[Incarnation 'Kim Dokja' has gained an achievement that never existed.]

[ YOUR NEW 'FABLE' HAS BEEN CREATED.]

The rain fell harder and harder, but the yellow screen notification brightened the entire sky of the Seoul Dome.

[THE FABLE 'KING OF A KINGLESS WORLD' HAS BEEN BORN.]

Kim Dokja's eyes closed for a moment. Letting the raindrops fall down his face, hoping that the tiredness he felt would come down with the drops.

[Due to the creation of unexpected branches, the completion of the scenario will take some time.]

Hah....

Finally.

Dokja could feel part of his heart swell with relief, then anticipation and a small, melancholy smile.

Dokja did not have the power of 'regression' like protagonist Yoo Jonghyuk or 'reincarnation' to continue his next life.

But...

Kim Dokja would reach the end of this world in his own way.

Black, star-speckled eyes opened slowly. He felt the raindrops no longer wetting his face. He smiled as Cale's form entered his view, his face calm even as his expressive eyes glittered with worry.

The man whom nature loved stood before Kim Dokja, with two hands raised and creating a barrier to keep the rain from washing over them.

"Cale."

"Hm?"

"Can I hug you?"

The calm face was warmed by an understanding expression. Dokja's heart skipped a beat at this sweet feeling.

"Of course, Dokja-hyungnim."

Cale was still standing, and Dokja knelt down and wrapped his arms around the beautiful red-haired man's waist. There was warmth in the embrace, as Cale's hand moved to stroke his dark hair.

Dokja's heart ached.

Tears inexplicably welled up.

This embrace... this warmth... how long had Kim Dokja dreamed of it?

"Cale."

"Hm?" His voice was so soft. Dokja's defenses were shattered just listening to that voice.

"Did I do the right thing?"

The lulling motion stopped for a moment. Two hands moved to bring Dokja's face up to Cale, who was now smiling slightly.

"Survival is the most important thing." His thumbs moved to stroke Dokja's cheeks in a sweet gesture.

"I see Dokja-hyungnim has created something extraordinary." Then, the smile widened until it curved his pretty garnett eyes.

"I'd say that's more than 'doing the right thing', Dokja-hyungnim."

Instantly, all the doubts, uncertainties and fears that had plagued Dokja's heart disappeared. Just a touch and a gentle word could make all the negative feelings within him disappear and Dokja had no qualms about letting himself be lulled into this warm, seductive touch.

This is what I want to feel.

This warmth.

This sense of being protected.

Ahhh... it felt like Kim Dokja was falling into the cradle of Hanibaram, the heart of nature, falling into vast depths yet surrounded by light.

Kim Dokja loves-

Black eyes with flecks of stars widened.

"You just did a bad deed."

Cale swiftly blocked Dokja's body from the glassy-eyed Dokkaebi approaching them.

"I swear on my authority that you will realize how bad your decision was."

"-a-what's going on?! "

"NO! Why are you DESTROYING THAT THRONE?! "

"-PLEASE! Make another 'The Absolute Throne' once again! We will participate more seriously!"

"We will decide on the Ruler wisely!"

Dokkaebi snorted with a dismissive look.

"No one can change the outcome of a scenario that has already ended. There is NOTHING more you can do." Then, smirking black-skinned red eyes pointed at Dokja with a vengeful smile.

"Besides, blame this bastard for bringing disaster upon you!"

"That dog," Dokja growled. Annoyed by another Dokkaebi's annoying provocation.

"Cale-ya."

The younger man immediately squatted down to follow Dokja with a calm face. Suddenly, it erased any annoyance in the older man.

"Come closer to me so you don't get rabies." Suddenly, that remark earned Dokja a hateful glare from this Dokkaebi with glasses.

"Damn it, Kingless World, huh?" his little hand snapped out.

"In that case, let's get the whole world's Grand Scenario going!"

Unexpectedly, a golden glow began to encompass the remaining living Incarnations. Kim Dokja's black eyes widened, watching them disappear one by one from the streets of Gwanghwamun.

"Huh? What's going on! "

"Let's see, how many lowly Incarnations like you can survive?"

"Akkhhh! H-help me!"

"Without anyone leading you."

"Wh-what! Where did everyone go?! "

A chill ran through Dokja. He had not expected this to happen. His eyes were frantically shaking as he watched his party members disappear into the golden light.

"Dokja-ssi! Cale!" Heewon and Sangah exclaimed, their glances ending in a blink of an eye.

"Dokja-hyung! Cale-hyung!" Gilyoung tried to get closer.

"Cheonsa-Oppa!" Shin Yoosung, who Dokja hadn't had time to deal with yet.

"Master!" Jihye remained near Jonghyuk, with Mia by her side.

Then, a golden light surrounded the two of them.

It was as if a moment of time had slowed down as Dokja looked over, seeing Cale's face now as panicked as the others.

"Mark my words."

"Cale?" Dokja's hand reached for the red-haired man.

"If this world falls into ruin-"

"Dokja-hyungnim-" Wistfully, Dokja looked at Cale's hand clasped in his. At least let them stay together-

"-its all your fault."

Silence fell over the Gwanghwamun, leaving only the corpses of the unlucky Incarnations and Cale slowly fading into the golden light.

Rage burned within the Reader. He looked hatefully at Dokkaebi who grinned at him with a snap of his fingers.

"Cale!" Hanibaram!

The golden light enveloped them and the last thing he heard was-

"We'll see you again, Dokja-hyungnim."

Along with a blue screen that read-

[ ■o ■■■t ■lla ■i ■n ' ■■■■■■■■■■■■■' is looking at 'you'.]

Who are you... actually... ?

Darkness took over his consciousness.

Cale...

.
.
.

[Now]

[Cale Henituse's POV]

The golden light blinded the young man's vision for a moment so he closed his eyes tightly.

Feeling that nothing had changed, his garnetted eyes opened slowly. Surprised to find himself still standing on the destroyed throne. Along with the desolate atmosphere of a dead city and all the members of Kim Dokja's Party who had disappeared.

"What...?"

Dokkaebi's eyes, which had been watching with a satisfied smile, now gazed wide at the only human left in the center of Seoul. Right in front of The Absolute Throne, which had been destroyed by the actions of the smart-ass Incarnation. Other than the dead ones of course.

"You-!"

Dokkaebi growled, pointing at the red-haired man who was still blinking his eyes in confusion. Cale gave a small gasp, immediately rising from his stance as a certain aura began to emanate around Dokkaebi.

"Who the hell are you?! Why can't I read you?!"

What did this Dokkaebi mean?

Just a second after thinking that, Cale's reddish-brown eyes widened until his pupils shrank.

... was this related to him being from outside this world?

Cale's heart was beating fast with fear, although his face did not show it directly. However, he'd never thought about this detail again. Because after the individually scary phenomenon in Chungmuro, the situation seemed to be safe again without any danger threatening his life.

However, how stupid could Cale be to fall into a sense of security?

The man surnamed Henituse should not forget that he was not a native of this earth. His presence was hidden by the God of Death and an unknown figure. Cale had been helped by them all this time but would still be helpless if he had no will, like his original essence in this world.

On the other hand, Dokkaebi's mind was racing. Supposedly, with the skills he used, he could transport all humans to the place they feared the most, based on trauma and seeing for themselves the results of their own foolish deeds.

Kingless World.

Everyone should have suffered the consequences of not following Main Scenario #4 properly!

But,...why didn't this Incarnation fulfill the skill requirements?

"I..."

"Enough! You must be an anomaly! A creature outside the Star Stream that-UGHR-!"

Sharp, fast and painful, the Dokkaebi's breath was choked. Black sclera eyes with red pupils widened. Sensing a strange presence behind the body of the heart of nature, the alias he had heard called Hanibaram.

Cale's eyes widened as the Dokkaebi suddenly gasped in pain. It was as if an attack had struck his internal organs.

"Y-you-! W-who are you affiliated with-AARGH!"

['Foreign Existence' stared intently.]

It was like being confronted with thousands of eyes in the darkness. Tightly enveloping, suffocating and claustrophobic yet the Hanibaram still stood there dazed. His face, which was originally a calm expression, now looked very surprised and took a step back at the unfamiliar presence that filled the surrounding area.

['Foreign Existence' issues its Authority].

The flow of time seemed to have stopped.

Reddish-brown eyes watched with a stunned look as everything moved against their will. The Dokkaebi was also still stopped in its sick time. The heart beat extremely fast, filled with negative emotions and small trembles.

Terrified, he tried to turn around. Staring at the notifications screen that hovered lightly, yet showed such a heavy presence.

"You... "

A hand stretched out hesitantly.

"Who are you?"

The present figure gave off an awkward aura for a moment, then it felt like it was smiling at Cale.

"Were... you the one protecting me all this time?" asked Cale, in a whispered voice. As the fear began to diminish within him. The strange presence did not respond to anything, only providing a warm atmosphere around him.

['Foreign Existence' asks Incarnation 'Cale Henituse' to leave immediately].

Reddish-brown eyes stared doubtfully at the notice. His eyes glanced at Dokkaebi who was still floating with a face of pain above them. However, his gaze was soon covered by the same blue screen notif.

"But-"

There was an urgent aura surrounding him. Telling Cale that he really needed to get away from this place.

"But... where?"

Cale's heart sank.

Realizing that he was completely alone now.

Without Kim Dokja.

Yoo Jonghyuk.

Jung Heewon.

Yoo Sangah.

Lee Hyunsung.

Lee Jihye.

Three kids... damn, how is Yoosung doing? Cale had just saved that little girl!

However, the bitter realization hit Cale mercilessly and painfully. That apart from them, he was completely alone in this world. Without any connection that linked Cale to his family in the original world.

It was suffocating. It made his vision blurry with tears.

Never... had Cale felt this helpless.

Not since... the deaths of Lee Sohyuk and Choi Jungsoo.

This world is so different from Kim Roksoo's world. Cale didn't feel safe here. Not with thousands of eyes watching your every move while Cale was just a stranger in this world.

['Foreign Existence' watches Incarnation 'Cale Henituse' from afar.]

Glazed reddish-brown eyes blinked consciously at the blue screen that stole his attention again. Dismissing the negative thoughts on the feeling of loneliness that engulfed him.

['Foreign Existence' says that Incarnation 'Cale Henituse' is smart.]

At this note, Cale chuckled melancholically. Smart? Well, it wasn't for nothing that he got the position as a strategic expert.

['Foreign Existence' says that Incarnation 'Cale Henituse' can get through anything.]

A small smile was engraved on this sentence. His hand lifted up to gently stroke the part of the word 'get through anything'. Then joined in feeling the happy aura around this foreign presence.

"You will accompany me, won't you?"

['Foreign Existence' is watching the Incarnation 'Cale Henituse' from afar.]

It felt like Cale's mind was clear again.

All the doubts that possessed him slowly disappeared and the man laughed at his panicked side earlier.

Of course... why had Cale given up so easily earlier?

It wasn't like 'Cale Henituse'.

Not like 'Kim Roksoo'.

Who struggled to survive on his own. Until he met Lee Sohyuk and Choi Jungsoo's group.

-CALE! WHY DID YOU FORGET ABOUT US-?! The red-haired youth gasped and winced as the sound of Glutton's shout echoed loudly in his mind.

YES! WE'VE BEEN FUCKIN' CALLING FOR YOU! SHIT! SHOULD WE BURN THE SHIT THAT HURTS YOU?! growled The Cheapskate. Alarming Cale in his usual style.

YESHHH *SOB*SOB*SOB XXXX WE'RE ALMOST TELLING YOU XXXX NOT TO LISTEN TO US XXX AGAIN! Crazy Kid sobs, creating a blue glow in his necklace item.

F-forgive me, everyone. Cale's regret was reciprocated by the feeling of being hugged. Of course... he was not alone.

Stupid Cale.

Even though he also had some ancient power left to gather.

"I have to find Dokja-hyungnim and the others," Cale muttered at the decision made. Then nodded to reassure himself. Reddish-brown eyes curved in a smile at the stranger who still accompanied him.

Giving off a familiar golden glow, hugging him like a warm blanket.

Cale chuckled.

"You really protected me all this time..." he said, almost in a whisper. While the unfamiliar presence also smiled behind the blue screen.

"Thank you, Hoja-nim*." (*보호자 (read: bohoja) which means Protector.)

['Foreign Existence' smiles happily.]

"Alright. I should get out of here soon. Stopping the flow of time like this will eventually be noticed by the Star Stream system, right?" Hoja-nim gave an anxious hum of agreement.

The red-haired man then immediately moved from the top of the ruined Throne to the far side of the Gwanghwamun area. Eyes glanced over his shoulder, as the flow of time returned to the area, then the grumbling of the Dokkaebi. Did that creature not remember him?

A faint buzz was felt in the vicinity. Hoja-nim returned to his aid. Bringing a smile to that beautiful face.

"Where are we headed exactly...? Hmm..."

['Foreign Existence' will be watching Incarnation 'Cale Henituse' from afar.]

"Does that mean... you're leaving?" asked Cale anxiously. Hoja-nim was in a lot of pain right now. Despite having a high authority that could stop time, Dokkaebi, and the Star Stream, there was still something wrong with his presence right now.

['Foreign Existence' smiled a small, sad smile].

"That's okay. I... will look forward to our next meeting." The foreign presence gave a pleased buzz of agreement.

['Foreign Existence' asks the Incarnation 'Cale Henituse' to go to 'the starting point of life'.]

"What does that mean?"

['Foreign Existence' says that Incarnation 'Cale Henituse' can find-]

And at that moment, that figure's presence disappeared. As if it was cut off directly without a signal. Leaving Cale alone in the darkness of the alley, along with the golden glow protecting him.

"What... what does he mean by 'the starting point of life'?"

Then, Cale's sight was filled by a blue screen.

[The Constellation 'Demon-like Judge of Fire' exclaimed in dismay and relief at the sight of Incarnation 'Cale Henituse'!]

[The Constellation 'Abyssal Black Flame Dragon' almost thought that Incarnation 'Cale Henituse' disappeared.]

[The Constellation 'Prisoner of the Golden Headband' breathed a sigh of relief.]

[The Constellation 'Secretive Plotter' had a concerned look on his face.]

Aah... of course Cale wasn't alone.

The world of stars, which witnessed the red-haired Incarnation smiling so broadly and beautifully shook. It was like the entire Stream screen was cracked by the grip of several constellations from being too mesmerized.

"Thank goodness..." Garnett-like reddish-brown eyes twinkled warmly at the blue screen displayed in front of him.

"I thought you guys disappeared too..." The beautiful face tilted slowly, making the reddish strands fall to frame the sweet alabaster pale face. Along with the soft tinkle of his ruby earrings.

"Thank you for worrying about this frail Incarnation, honorable Constellations."

Blue screen notifications filled his view. It made Cale laugh amusedly at the spontaneous reactions of the constellations who tried to appease him with various gifts and money.

"Then-" his jewel-like eyes focused on one screen. The constellation that had been with Dokja since the beginning of the scenario and that he had first seen when he came to consciousness in this world.

"Constellation 'Demon-like Judge of Fire'-nim," the figure watching from the screen gasped and trembled. Suppressing a sob as her name was called so sweetly by the beautiful red-haired Incarnation.

"Can you help me, and tell me where Dokja-hyungnim is right now?"

[The Constellation 'Demon-like Judge of Fire' shouted excitedly and said 'YES!!!' to Incarnation 'Cale Henituse'!]

[The Constellation 'Demon-like Judge of Fire' will return within 3 seconds! No! In 1-!]

[The Constellation 'Prisoner of the Golden Headband' says that Incarnation 'Kim Dokja' is currently on top of a company building called Minosoft.]

The figure behind the screen laughed out loud and was satisfied as he dodged the ferocious throw of the constellation that was asked to help.

"Really?"

Everyone froze at the blushing smile, which was so sweetly and warmly given.

"Thank you, Constellation 'Prisoner of the Golden Headband'-nim!" Ah... the one called by name could feel his heart melting.

[The Constellation 'Secretive Plotter' told Incarnation 'Cale Henituse' to be careful.]

The red-haired man nodded with a serious face.

"Of course. Thank you for the concern, Constellation 'Secretive Plotter'-nim." Was it just Cale's feeling that he could see the screen had a pink tinge around it?

Minosoft Company, hm?

That was the company Dokja worked for and the man had told him about it briefly. Plus, Sangah had connected the story with their time in the office.

However, the moment his feet stepped into the area, Cale stopped. His eyes glanced at the clothes he was wearing, full of dirt and some blood. Then at his oily skin and red hair that was damp from the rain.

....

"Let's go shopping first."

The surrounding constellations that were watching gave their chuckles of amusement. All the screens surrounded Cale, as if providing protection to the heart of nature that was loved so much.

The young man was busy shopping at the store to buy new clothes, food and maybe toiletries. Every now and then, some of them would give good clothing suggestions, getting Cale's sweet smile as a reward.

But... still. What does Hoja-nim mean about 'the starting point of life'?

"Hey, can you hear me? Are you okay?"

"Representative-nim?"

"Dokja-ssi? Where are you? Cale-ya! Hyunsung-ssi! Sangah-"

"Master!? Cale-Oppa-?! W-why am I being transferred back to school-?!"

"This.. this place.. hugh-! C-cale-?! Dokja-ssi?! T-this is not an academy, b-but a troop headquarters...?"

"Dokja-ssi? Cale-ya? Children?!"

"Dokja-hyung?! Cale-hyung?! Noonadeul?! Hyungdeul?!"

"Cheonsa-Oppa?! Everyone?! CHEONSA-OPPA-!!!"

"Jonghyuk-Oppa-?"

That consciousness then fixated on the red-haired figure who was running from... Gwanghwamun?! Why is Cale still near The Absolute Throne?!

His voice seemed tight when he wanted to call the name of his most important figure.
