Chapter 4 - Looking at me (Sabrina Carpenter)

"You seem to like what you see, Yongbok?"

Heat rose in my cheeks and with a bright red head I babbled confusedly:

"No... I - yes..."

"Don't panic, I'm just teasing you," he smiled mischievously. We didn't have much time to talk because Hyunjin was immediately called to do the make up.

"Sorry, duty calls. I'll talk to you during the long break in about an hour, okay?" he asked, looking at me with googly eyes.

*Since when does he have such a cutie look?*

Completely overwhelmed, I just nodded and got myself a waterbottle from the machine. There were comfortable chairs along the wall with a direct view to the set. One of them was immediately taken by me.

*Man... Why was I staring at him like that?*

I could hardly take my eyes off him when he came up to me so confidently. And the blue eyes looked outrageously good on him.

Lost in thought, I didn't notice that all the dancers had lined up again. But then Hyunjin walked into the room and took his place on the dance floor too. That was when I got back from my thoughts.

The music started and everyone remained in place for their cue, which was not long in coming.

He took his foot off the dancer's back and grabbed his cap.

He took it off and tousled his now short black hair. His gaze lifted and fixed directly on my eyes.
*Fuck*
Something inside me tightened when he gave me that intense look while threwing his cap into the corner.

He stroked his full lips almost lasciviously with his index finger.

I couldn't take my eyes off the sight for a second. The bass-soaked choreography was underpinned by his expressive gestures.

His body control was immense and I imaginatively tipped my hat to his performance. Everything fits so well, everything was coherent and it was just...

awesome...

What the hell was wrong with me? A short while ago I was jealous and now I was admiring him and literally worshipping him?

I deserved it too, but after what my eyes were treated to here, I had to admit that he deserved it too, just a little bit.

I was still following his every move and, to make matters worse, I had the feeling that Hyunjin was well aware of how much I was scrutinizing him.

As he stretched his arms left and right, which were grabbed by the dancers, the manager announced the next break.

"Thanks guys, great job Hyunjin! We'll continue in an hour. Please be on time for the make-up touch-up. This is also the place for his outfit fitting," explained the manager and was quickly back to giving further instructions to the staff.

I sat quietly and tensely on the chair and waited.

The tall one approached me and once more I was speechless at the sight of him.Smiling, he came to me and held out his hand.

"Come on, let's go somewhere quieter," he said gently and looked at me piercingly.

*What's with that look?*

After a moment's hesitation, I took his hand and was dragged through the corridors by him.

"Where are we going?" I asked in confusion as I tried to keep up with his long legs.

"To an undisturbed place where we can be alone," his voice sounded deeper than usual and my heart immediately skipped a beat.

*Alone?*
