When Clara's eyes opened, she instantly looked relieved to see Kobie lying asleep in the chair beside the hospital bed. Caroline had stayed around for sometime, but eventually left as she had promised to drive Jade to the airport.
Clara looked around, her eyes reaching the heart monitor which beeped loudly. She then suddenly remembered the attack, and what had happened before Maya found her. The vampire hadn't been familiar to her, but she remembered certain features... long brown hair, slightly taller than her, and her voice sounded sweet and innocent until she suddenly changed her demeanour and attacked the Fell.
The Fell reached up to touch her neck, where she'd been bitten viciously. She felt a bandage there, covering the wound.
She then glanced over at Kobie, who was starting to wake up. "Hey Dad." Clara offered him a weak smile as Kobie's eyes shot open. "Clara, hey sweetie." Kobie got to his feet instantly, which wasn't a great idea having just woken up.
"Woah—" He blurted, placing his hands on the rail of the hospital bed to steady himself as Clara giggled. "Be careful." She said between her laughs. Once Kobie was no longer feeling dizzy, he lurched forward to hug his daughter. Clara hugged her father back tightly, feeling beyond relieved that she'd woken up to him being by her side, as opposed to her mother.
"How are you feeling?" Kobie asked, once he pulled away from the shorter blonde. "I... feel really woozy still." Clara answered before her face faltered, "Dad... I got attacked by a vampire."
"I know. Caroline is gonna figure out who it is. If they're a threat to Mystic Falls I may have to bring out my crossbow." Kobie confessed as Clara tilted her head, "Caroline was here?" She asked.
"Yeah, she stayed here for a few hours. She even brought me coffee." Kobie began to explain, not realising that he wore a smile as Clara eyed her father knowingly. "Don't look at me like that Clara-bear." Kobie replied as Clara laughed. "Oh come on... you have hardly dated since you and Mum divorced... it's time you find someone new. Mum moved on in about five minutes."
Kobie paused, as he chuckled a little. Well, Tanya moved on so fast because she'd been cheating on Kobie with Pete for months before their relationship ended. Also, Kobie was reluctant to find a partner because he knew that his home was a safe space for Clara and he didn't want that to ever change. He was worried that having a partner could change the dynamic to the point of his daughter not feeling comfortable in his home.
"I think I remember what the vampire looked like... the one who attacked me." Clara spoke up. "If it's a student of Caroline's, it'll be worth letting her know about it." The Fell admitted as Kobie nodded, "I think I need to equip you with a weapon..." He trailed off as Clara frowned, "That will give people more of a reason to stay away from me." She realised.
Before Kobie could say otherwise, Clara reached out to grab her phone. "I gotta figure out what I'm doing for Cheer tonight and—" The blonde was cut off, "Clara, stop worrying about your extracurriculars for a moment. You need to rest, you're in no shape to leave the hospital." Kobie insisted as Clara looked to him, "You're not being discharged until you're feeling better, so take this time to rest honey."
Clara opened her mouth to argue, but honestly she didn't have the strength to even attempt to. "Okay." She eventually answered, "But can you stay with me? I... I don't really want Mum to visit—" The Fell cut herself off, as she always worried about saying too much. "Of course I'll stay. I just have to let the shop know that I won't be in today." Kobie decided before he placed a kiss on Clara's forehead, though at the mention of leaving his business for a day, the blonde looked guilty.
"They'll manage just fine." Kobie assured her before he stepped outside to make a phone call. Clara laid back down in the bed, as she tried her best to get comfortable.

Maya tossed and turned in her sleep, seeming to have a bad dream. She couldn't seem to wake herself from it, as the dream felt too real.
"Nina!" Maya cried out, approaching a circle of fire, that seemed to conceal her sister inside. There were two other circles of fire, containing two other people from the Salvatore school, whom she didn't recognise.
"Maya?" Nina blurted out quietly, as she couldn't see her sister but definitely heard her. "We're gonna get you out of here." Stella then spoke, before the pair suddenly appeared as the magic that had cloaked them, wore off.
Maya glanced over at Faith, who she could only recognise as Hope. Tori and Salem were by her side as well as a witch she'd never expected to see, helping the tribrid. Tori, who had been trying to keep her composure and wait for the right moment to attack her sister, seemed surprised by the rescue attempt.
The shorter blonde looked to her older sister, who looked as though she was about to cast a spell of her own. Tori exhaled before she decided it was the perfect chance to act, as she balled her fist and rushed forward to land a punch on Faith's face. The tribrid looked surprised as she turned to face Tori, who started to throw more punches, landing some hits although Faith managed to deflect many.
Salem immediately stepped forward to intervene with the brawling sisters, but as Faith managed to get Tori in a headlock, the tribrid waved her off. "Stop them instead." Faith ordered. Stella was siphoning the magic flames surrounding Nina, though she stopped momentarily to cast a spell on an approaching Salem, "Immobilus." The Pierce suddenly halted, though she glared. "I hate witches." The vampire complained. Stella went back to siphoning the flames as Nina seemed panicked.
"She is gonna kill us all." Nina exhaled shakily. "It's okay, we're gonna get you out of here. Then we're gonna get the hell out of town, okay?" Maya reassured her sister, though it was evident she was just as worried.
Faith then looked to Tori, who was struggling to get out of her grip. "I don't know why you keep trying to beat me, I'm obviously stronger than you." Faith reminded the blonde. "I don't care, this is wrong. I can't let you kill anyone else." Tori managed to choke out.
"So that's why you're mad. I would say that I'm sorry for killing your friend but... I'm really not." Faith said before she balled her fist and landed another punch on Tori, before throwing her aside. The blonde stumbled back onto her feet and spat out blood before she glanced back at Faith with hate filled eyes, prepared to attack her again.
Nina was freed and had rushed into Stella's arms momentarily. "We have to help the other two." The Machado insisted as Stella nodded. "Yeah of course." The blonde rushed to another circle of fire, to siphon the flames.
Faith smiled smugly before she went to cast a spell again, but stopped and turned around suddenly to stop an attack from Tori. The blonde had sped towards Faith, with a wooden stake in her hand, that she'd hidden in her jacket pocket. Victoria exhaled suddenly, as Faith had her hand gripped tightly around Tori's wrist.
"You can't use my own tricks against me." Faith taunted before she bent the hybrid's arm down quickly, hyperextending it at the elbow which made a loud snap sound. Tori tried (and struggled) to hold back an agonising scream, before Faith shoved her aside. "Tori!" Maya cried out, as Nina was trying not to gag as the snap sound made her feel instantly ill.
It was then, a stake suddenly shot into Faith's back. The tribrid cringed in pain for a moment before she reached to pull it out. The auburn haired girl then turned around to glare at Clara and Finch, who had initially been cloaked by Stella's magic. Clara held a crossbow, which had just been used to fire the stake.
"I'm so fed up with you stupid townies." Faith complained before she launched the stake back in Clara's direction at a fast pace.
"CLARA!!"
Maya jolted awake in shock, as she sat up. The Machado wiped beads of sweat off of her forehead, as she exhaled shakily. "What the hell was that..." The ravenette wondered, before she came to a realisation: Hope Marshall was trouble.
Maya then got out of her bed, as she tried to remind herself that it was a dream, and that her brain had conjured some sort of twisted make believe. But why did it feel so real?
She headed downstairs, deciding to start making breakfast and also her lunch for school, but she couldn't shake the anxious feeling about her dream. It involved her sister, and she seemed so distraught.
"Morning May." Nina greeted, as she descended the stairs, wearing gym clothes. The brunette pulled her hair into a ponytail as she approached her adoptive sister. "Morning Neens." Maya smiled back.
"Did you want to come on a run with me?" Nina asked, though Maya knew no matter her answer, Nina would find a way to convince her. "Yeah, sure. Let me go chuck some gym clothes on." Maya decided.
The pair soon left the house, and when they returned Nina had showered and gotten ready for school. Currently the brunette was in the kitchen, making lunch for the day. She was currently rushing through the cupboards, trying to find the kitchen scales.
"Maya! Ethan! Where are the kitchen scales?" Nina asked, growing a little annoyed. "I have no idea." Ethan answered, as he'd walked down the stairs. He bounced his football as he exited the house to grab his school shoes, which he'd left at the door.
"I hid them." Maya answered, as she poked her head into the kitchen. "Why?" Nina asked, as she turned to face her sister. "You know why." Maya hummed, as she walked over to the taller girl. "Besides, I made you some lunch when I made my own." The ravenette added.
Nina seemed surprised as Maya pulled two ziplock bags out of the fridge, containing their lunches. She handed one to Nina, as the doppelgänger looked at it. Maya had made her an egg and mayonnaise sandwich and given her an apple, a muesli bar and a small bag of sweet and salty popcorn.
"Thanks." Nina admitted, thinking it was thoughtful although she would have preferred to measure and pack her own.
Ethan came back into the house wearing his hightop nikes in which he had to match with Casper. "Maya, are we going?" He asked. "Yeah!" Maya responded before she turned to Nina. "You coming with?" She asked. Nina quickly shook her head, "Nah, Stella is taking me. She'll be here any minute."
Maya smiled, "Alright, see you at school Neens." She said before she went out the front door, along with Ethan. Nina gave her siblings a wave before she went to look for her own shoes.
A couple minutes later she'd found them, and Stella's car had pulled into her driveway. Nina made eye contact with girlfriend and smiled. The Machado closed the door behind her and locked up the house before she approached the car and got into the passenger sear.
"Morning Ella." Nina greeted as Stella smiled back, "Morning babe." The pair shared a chaste kiss before Stella put her car in reverse and started to drive them to school.
"Where's Finch?" Nina asked, as Stella usually drove Finch around. Truthfully, although the Lewis did 90% of the driving, the car was shared between her and Finch. They found a second hand car they liked and decided to save together and buy it, making it 50/50. That meant shared ownership, even though Stella was the only one with a driver's license.
Finch couldn't seem to master reverse parking, which caused fail after fail when she went for her driving test. So until she could pass, she only drove the car when she needed too. Stella always found it ironic because Finch had a motorcycle license. Unfortunately her bike was well overdue for a service so until she could afford it, she was trying not to use it.
"Finch is working. She picked up a shift this morning to cover her half of the rent. I gotta grab all her notes from classes." Stella admitted as Nina frowned. She felt like it was unfair how much Stella and Finch had to sacrifice to keep a roof over their heads. They both had no parents and living together seemed to be the only way to get by, but sometimes it meant missing school to make some extra money at the Grill.
"I must be relieving her tonight then. I'm working a shift basically right after school." Nina admitted as Stella's eyes moved to the duffel bag Nina had thrown in the back seat, assuming it was carrying her work clothes and probably some toiletries.
"Hey Stella... I have a question." Nina hummed, as the Lewis brought her attention back to her girlfriend (and more importantly the road). "What's up?" Stella asked softly. "What... happened last night?? I mean... not about the whole Clara incident, but after..." The Machado paused. "You caught me in your arms and I have no idea how... because you were standing far away talking to Finch."
Stella shrugged, "It must have been adrenaline or something— I didn't want you to get hurt." The Lewis tried to cover up, though Nina wasn't convinced. "Yeah... I guess." The brunette looked outside the front windscreen and stared at the road, as she tried to think of what real reasons could have explained it.
It didn't make sense... Nina knew a human couldn't move that fast... was Stella some sort of superhero? The brunette squished that idea, worried she was listening to Ethan ramble about superheroes too much.

"I'm so paranoid of stepping on that lost lego piece." Niko admitted as himself and Charlie felt like they were walking on their toes with paranoia. "For real. Even with supernatural healing, stepping on a leggo fucking hurts." The Salvatore admitted.
The pair were wandering around their dorm carefully as they got ready for their classes. "Hey do you still have my textbook for Chem?" Niko asked while he was peering inside his closet. "Yep, just placed it on your bed." Charlie responded. "Thank you."
There was suddenly a knock at the door, and the Salvatore went over to open it as Niko was busy fumbling with his tie in the mirror. Charlie's expression lit up when he saw it was Glen at the door, "Hey! Morning." The vampire greeted.
"Hey Char... do you happen to have a spare tie?" The Forde asked, as Charlie then noticed while Glen was wearing the uniform he was missing a tie. "Oh, yeah I should." Charlie walked over to his wardrobe as Glen entered the room.
Niko suddenly snorted in amusement as Glen and Charlie turned to him. "Are you reading my mind?" Glen asked blankly as Niko turned to face the boyfriends. "Sorry... but yeah." He responded.
"What's so funny?" Charlie asked, feeling as though he was missing something. "Gia stole my tie." Glen answered, "They asked for the boys uniform and never received a tie so they decided to take mine."
"That's probably the realest older sibling problem I have ever heard." Niko admitted, which was ironic because technically neither he or Glen were older siblings but somehow were older sibling figures to their younger cousins. "It's all funny and cute when you're kids but it's pretty fucking annoying when you're nearly adults." Glen sighed.
"Bingo." Charlie moved away from his wardrobe, as he showed a spare tie as Glen looked relieved. Vardemus had been handing out uniform detentions like a crazy teacher dishes out homework, and the Forde really didn't want to waste any extra time sitting in a classroom if he didn't have to.
The Salvatore approached the raven haired werewolf and lifted his collar up before looping the tie around as he started to tie it up. "I'm gonna go and make a coffee before class." Niko said as he passed the pair. "See you guys later— oh and be careful we still haven't found the missing piece of leggo." The Shiratori said, specifically looking at Glen.
"What? It's still probably in the carpet??" He blurted out, also growing paranoid despite wearing shoes. "This is no longer your dorm, this dorm belongs to the Lego now." Glen said, making eye contact with Charlie again. The vampire laughed before he looked over at Niko, "Bye Niko." He said as the psychic left the room.
Charlie let go of Glen's tie after straightening it, "Weirdly enough... I thought I would be the first one to take clothes from you." The Salvatore admitted as Glen frowned, "No, you're a clothes thief too?? I thought clothes thieves were always siblings or girlfriends, not boyfriends."
Charlie shrugged, "I can't help it, when I see an oversized jacket I'm like you're coming home with me." He joked as Glen chuckled, before he realised Charlie's love of oversized jackets or hoodies was probably due to gender dysphoria.
"Wait... I might have the perfect hoodie you can—" Glen paused before he frowned. "I'm pretty sure Tori has it." He realised, which made Charlie snort in amusement. "She needs to hurry up and get back to school so I can take back all the jackets I lent her when she forgot to bring one while it was cold."
Charlie laughed harder as he sympathised. "If it makes you feel any better... I'm pretty sure my favourite hoodie got shipped off to Belgium with Penelope." He admitted before he pretended to wipe away a fake tear, "That hoodie will be missed."
The door to Charlie and Niko's dorm suddenly opened as Lucas poked his head in, unintentionally making Charlie and Glen jump. "Hi." Lucas offered an innocent smile before he looked to Charlie, "You need to hide, Mum is looking for you." He said.
Before a response could be made, Lucas headed back out into the corridor and could be heard saying loudly, "Charlie isn't down here, stop walking this way Mum!!"
As expected, Caroline entered the dorm. "There you are." The Salvatore's eyes landed on her son. "I need to see you in my office." Caroline said, her expression looking disappointed. She took a look at Glen also before she turned to leave.
"Wow... did she just give me the disappointed Mum look too?" Glen asked as Charlie nodded, "Yeah. Yeah, I think she did." He answered, seeming a little confused.
"You know all this time I thought your nepo baby status would free you from detention but by the look on your Mum's face, I'm gonna say I was wrong." Glen admitted as Charlie looked surprised, "My what?" He asked.
"Your Mum and stepdad run the school... does that not make you a product of Nepotism?" Glen questioned as Charlie opened his mouth to answer but then frowned. "Thanks, I hate it." The Salvatore responded as Glen seemed amused, "You're welcomeeee."
The pair exited Charlie's dorm, as the Salvatore locked the door behind them. "Wait if that's your theory, then why did Liv constantly get in trouble from Kiara?" He realised as Glen shrugged, "Oh that's easy... Kiara Auclair lacked a soul." He replied as Charlie instantly agreed, "Real."

Standing in the courtyard was Olivia, Aphrodite and Myrical. The Benning looked at the darkness that encased her best friend's veins. "Livvy, that looks painful." Myrical said, as she looked concerned.
"It doesn't hurt as much as it did last time." Liv realised, remembering when Violetta gave her a crash course on managing the dark magic that the Auclair bloodline possessed. Olivia closed her eyes and began to recite incantation of a spell. Aphrodite and Myrical looked up to notice dark clouds rolling in suddenly.
Raindrops began to fall, but only momentarily as the dark clouds rolled away. Olivia opened her eyes, instantly feeling better and as though she wasn't on the verge of exploding.
"Woah... Liv you just changed the freaking weather??" Myrical blurted out with surprise as Olivia let out a nervous yet surprised laugh. "I can't believe that actually worked." The tribrid laughed. "I feel like I can think and function again."
"Next you gotta figure out how to make it snow... it would be so cool if school got cancelled because of a snow day." Aphie joked as she suddenly hugged Olivia. Liv hugged the redhead back, seeming a little confused by the sudden affectionate, even if it was normal for them.
"I'm really proud of you, you know?" Aphie hummed as Liv felt tears prick the corners of her eyes. "You've been coping with this whole tribrid stuff really well and... I think you should be happy with how well you're managing it." The De Martel added. "It's 8 in the morning and you're already gonna make me cry, Aphie." Liv laughed awkwardly before they broke apart.
"Aww, how cute." A voice piped up, belonging to Lexi. The Salvatore carried two takeaways cups of coffee with her. "Morning Lex." Olivia smiled as the heretic smiled back, "Hey Liv." She said before she looked between Myrical and Aphie, "Morning ladies, sorry I don't have coffee for you."
"That's just not good enough Lex. How dare you not presume we were here too." Aphrodite joked, as Lexi rolled her eyes playfully before she handed a cup to Liv. "Thanks!" Olivia chirped.
"I uh... gotta do something before class. I'll see you later Livvy." Aphrodite tried to force some sort of excuse out of her mouth, purely to get away from Lexi. The De Martel was worried she would crumble under the pressure of temporarily keeping this secret if she were around the Salvatore, so she was avoiding.
"Oh wait Aphie, I have something to show you." Myrical quickly followed after Aphrodite, wanting to show the redhead her completed sketch that she wanted to get tattooed. "Bye Liv, bye Lexi." Myrical and Aphie then said before they left.
Olivia couldn't deny that it felt strange how suddenly Aphie wanted to leave, but she decided not to question it. "I had to make myself a strong coffee today... I have Vardemus for first period. He is such a bore??" The Salvatore frowned.
"Oh my god I know right?? I think I fell asleep on Myrical's shoulder during his class yesterday." Liv realised, as she could remember Myrical nudging the tribrid awake because she was starting to lose feeling in her shoulder.
Olivia then reached out and took Lexi's hand in her own, before they started to walk towards the school entrance. "Is that... Josie?" Lexi then paused, as the ravenette Saltzman walked by, with a Japanese samurai beside her.
"Uh hey Josie... what have you got there?" Lexi decided to ask as Josie looked down at the smoothie cup in her hand before she looked back to her cousin or... technically half sister. "A smoothie??" She answered.
Olivia snorted in amusement, which caused Josie to be a little proud. Lexi frowned, "No bitch, who the hell is that?" She asked, motioning her arms to the samurai that stood beside her. The Japanese man began speaking confusedly in Japanese, which Josie responded to in the same language before she faced Lexi and Liv again. "I'm not sure. I think Malivore sent him."

Lucas and Landon wandered down the hallway, hand in hand as Landon was trying to find out if anything was wrong with the Saltzman. In Luca's other hand was a strong coffee. "It's just... you've been kind of quiet since that party." Landon admitted, as Lucas stopped walking and faced his boyfriend. "Everything is fine, babe. Really." The witch responded.
Truthfully, Lucas was trying to convince himself that Landon's friendship with Gia wasn't going to be a problem. He didn't want to have to worry about who the Kirby was friends with, because at the end of the day that's all they were. Friends.
"I didn't get a lot of sleep last night." He admitted, as he took a long sip of his drink. "I think I might need to ask Charlie for one of his energy drinks." Lucas thought aloud as Landon frowned, "Aren't they really bad for you?" He questioned, though he'd never tried one.
"Probably. I don't care, I'm not planning on living forever so..." Lucas trailed off as Landon's eyes widened before he laughed nervously, "Well I don't want you to die anytime soon, please look after your heart." He responded.
Before Lucas could make anymore dark jokes, Eden suddenly appeared. "Morning." She greeted, her headphones around her neck. "Morning Eden." Lucas and Landon responded to the Winslow.
"Luca, I just want to apologise again for what happened at the party." Eden decided, as she seemed to feel bad about making the Saltzman question his relationship with Landon. "What happened at the party?" Landon asked. Eden opened her mouth to answer but Lucas quickly interjected, "Oh it was nothing. We just had a bit of a... disagreement." He said, hoping Eden would take the hint not to say anything. Eden glanced at Lucas before she nodded, "Yeah. It's nothing to worry about." She insisted.
"Have either of you seen Beaumont?" Lucas asked, using his full name purely because Beau hated it. "No I haven't. I was going to ask you the same thing." Eden admitted. "He's probably with Sebastian... I have hardly seen him since the party." Lucas spoke.
As the trio walked, Eden suddenly frowned. "I think I know where Beau is." She confessed, having picked up on his emotions, before she pointed to a closet. "What— really?" Landon questioned as Lucas turned to the pair, "I am not surprised in the slightest."
"Who is he in there with... Sebastian? MG? Somebody new?" Lucas asked Eden shrugged, "I don't know. I can only identify the person if I am looking at them. I guess I figured out pretty quickly that if there are feelings of lust about, it usually belongs to Beau." The Winslow replied.
As if on cue, the closet door opened and out came Beau and Sebastian, making out as they had their arms around eachother. "What a fucking surprise." Lucas spoke sarcastically as Landon looked away, "My eyes." He spoke quietly yet dramatically. "Morning Beau." Eden greeted, unfazed.
Beau and Sebastian let go of one another at last, though Beau placed one last kiss on Sebastian's lips before he pulled away. "Bye Sebby!" The Lazuli spoke in a coy tone before he turned to walk towards Lucas, Landon and Eden. Eden waved to Sebastian, who waved back before he wandered down the hallway, only to bump into MG and for them to start hurling verbal abuse at eachother.
"This is living." Beau decided, as he watched Sebastian and MG argue. "You are such a red flag." Lucas spoke up as Landon tried to stifle a laugh. "Did you two seriously have sex in a closet? I thought the point of being out and proud is to avoid closets at all costs." Eden said, trying to half joke. "No we did not have sex in a closet. But Lucas was taking forever to get ready in our dorm so I couldn't just bring Sebastian back there." The Lazuli defended his actions.
"You mean after being roommates for FIVE years you finally decided to start respecting your roommate and not bring back flings while I'm still in our dorm?" Lucas questioned as Beau nodded, "Yeah." He said as though it was obvious. "Why couldn't you have started doing that like two years ago? I have been scarred so many times." The Saltzman complained as Beau just shrugged.
"Are you and Sebastian dating yet?" Eden asked, trying to change the conversation as she could sense Luca's discomfort. "No we're not dating. But we may as well be... something has been keeping me from asking him out." The witch realised. "What would that be?" Landon asked curiously as Beau shrugged, "I have no idea."
━━━━━ ⋆⋅♥︎⋅⋆ ━━━━━
Tori let out a yawn as she wandered down the corridor. She'd dragged the mattress from her old dorm and moved into Kiara's room, since it had the best air conditioning in the school. The Auclair had the air conditioning set up so that 70% of the cold air entered her room, while the rest was divided amongst the rest of the school's rooms, including the dorms.
"Morning." Faith greeted, as Tori had entered the main common room. The O'Connell-Mikaelson paused as she looked around the room, which genuinely felt like she'd stepped back in time. The walls were still decorated with posters and drawings made by some of the Auclair students. The window was still cracked from when herself and Clary fought in the room, and Clary had broken the window unintentionally with her magic and found some way to blame it on Rachel. The side of one of the bookshelves had everyone's initials scratched into the side of it... which had started with Myrical, followed by Liv and then everyone else slowly followed in suit over time.
Tori blinked in surprise, before she noticed the blood bags lying on the table. "Breakfast is served." Faith offered, as it was now Tori noticed that Ezra and Salem sat on either side of her. "Uh... thanks." Tori awkwardly replied as she bent down to pick one up.
She turned to leave the common room, but was stopped by Faith's voice. "Where are you going?" The tribrid asked as she got to her feet. "To have a shower... and then to see my friends. You can't keep me here Faith, and I refuse to stay." Tori decided as Faith looked annoyed.
"You can't be serious." Faith stormed after her sister, as she reached out to grab her wrist. Tori rolled her eyes, before she turned to face the Mikaelson. "I am. Look, you keep saying that my friends are gonna hate me for taking part in this but I... don't think they will. They know how much I have struggled with this curse."
"You don't get it. Though they will be restored, lives will be taken and I can't imagine your buddies are going to be overly happy about it... do you think any of them will trust you after your time as no humanity Tori?" Faith asked, putting on a smile as Tori's face fell.
"I never told you about that." The blonde pointed out. "You didn't have to. You're a Mikaelson, and we all follow a dark path eventually, don't we?" Faith asked as Tori tore her eyes away from Faith and continued to walk towards her old dorm, not having anything more to say to her.
The Mikealson stepped into her old shared dorm with Amelia, as the first thing she noticed was how hot it was. "What the fuck..." She cringed at the heat of the room before she instead noticed that it still reeked of her cousin's perfume, several months after they'd vacated. The blonde looked around, noticing some of their posters that were still hanging around the room, though they looked sun faded.
The hybrid had a saddened expression, as she was reminded of the strained relationship she had with her cousin. She knew she should have reached out by now, but things had been so crazy over the summer since she'd been literally kidnapped by her older half sister. She also still didn't have her phone.
Victoria continued to look around, her eyes landing on the glass window of their shared dorm, which was broken. Amelia had been practicing a new spell and managed to put four different sized holes in the window.
Kiara never cared to fix it... though for a headmistress she never cared to do a lot of things. The Auclair students noticed they'd lose heating or electricity more times than they could count, because the older Auclair would forget to pay the school's bills.
And having a broken window well... it made it so much hotter or colder depending on the temperature.
Kiara had yet again forgotten to pay the heating bill, meaning the entire school had no heating in the middle of a freezing cold winter. Tori reached out and pushed the door open to Glen's dorm. The hybrid, who was wearing the warmest clothes she owned, offered her boyfriend a small smile. "Hey." She spoke.
Glen, who'd been lying in bed watching TV, sat up. "Hey." He greeted, as the Mikealson slowly walked over to him. "Amelia kinda broke our window, and the cold draft is making it impossible to sleep... Can I sleep in here?" Tori trailed off as Glen offered a smile as he moved over.
Tori climbed under the covers, before she leaned over and shared a chaste kiss with the werewolf. Glen frowned, "Wow, you are freezing." He admitted, as he reached out to touch her face. "Yeah well... vampires tend to run cold." Victoria admitted before Glen smiled a little smugly, "Lucky for you, werewolves run hot."
"Yeah well I wouldn't know... being cursed and all." Tori giggled as she cuddled up to Glen as he placed his arms around her. "You are so warm." She yawned as she basically melted into his arms.
"What are you watching?" Tori then asked as Glen continued to play the movie. "Scream." He answered. "Oh, I actually like Scream, I don't have to pretend to like this horror movie." She teased as Glen responded, "Oh yeah? Like I have to pretend to like Twilight."
Tori suddenly felt a little embarrassed, "Hey it's not that bad." She responded as Glen shrugged, "It's so inaccurate... I've never seen you sparkle in the sun." He pointed out. "What? You haven't seen me sparkle? I totally sparkle in the sun." Victoria joked.
Their eyes were fixed on the screen, as the scene played where Billy Loomis was revealed to be Ghostface. Tori smirked, "You know Skeet Ulrich is kinda Dilf-y." She blurted out before she could even think about it, as Glen snorted in amusement, "Yeah, facts." He responded before the couple burst out laughing. Tori then yawned again, and decided to drift off to sleep, feeling the most comfortable she had in a while.
A comfort she certainly wasn't going to feel staying at her former school that had an inside temperature of 38°c. But she wasn't thinking about that... she was thinking about another strained relationship, that she had ruined. The Mikealson had at least reached out to Glen to apologise but it had been so painfully uncomfortable that they didn't get to talk about what had actually happened. The hybrid had already accepted that the chances of them ever being friends was unlikely.
Tori exhaled, before she approached her cousin's old closet as she remembered the Claire-Mikealson had sorted through her clothes before they vacated the school, and left a lot of it behind. The blonde went through the wardrobe, picking out a new outfit before she entered their former shared bathroom, which also felt like a million degrees.
"Fucking hell... this is ridiculous." The blonde thought to herself, as she approached the window and yanked it open, hoping that most of the hot air would escape the stuffy room. Tori wiped away the sweat on her forehead, as she reminded herself that she'd be with her friends soon, and away from the academy even if only temporarily.

Charlie sunk into the chair across from his mother, as he felt uncomfortable under her gaze. "Please just give me detention or something, I can't deal with your silent judging anymore." Charlie complained as Caroline finished writing something down on paper before she glanced up at her son.
"Fine. But do you regret punching a fellow student in the face?" Caroline asked, looking at her son blankly. Charlie paused, "Yes?" He answered, though the older Salvatore was completely unconvinced. "Why did that sound like a question?" Caroline asked as Charlie sighed. "I feel bad, yes... but he was crossing a line." The younger Salvatore spoke in one breath as Caroline looked lowkey lost for words.
"Okay, you'll definitely be getting detention." Caroline sighed as Charlie's face fell. "Charlie... I need to be honest with you... I'm not sure that Glen is a good influence on you." She confessed as Charlie looked at Caroline with a confused expression, "What makes you say that?" He asked.
"You guys have been dating for a few weeks and now you're suddenly punching people? This isn't like you." Caroline explained before she shrugged, "As you know Olivia gave me the Auclair files when you all transferred here and I noticed that... he seems a bit troubled."
"Wow okay... you genuinely sound like Alaric right now." Charlie blurted out as he looked disappointed in her, "You could be just as easily be reading my file— or Luca's! Not a single student that came from Auclair wasn't troubled." The boy frowned before he added, "... or depressed."
"Have you thought that... maybe I've become more confident since we've started dating?" Charlie then suggested. "I mean I don't think I've ever stood up to anybody before." He realised as Caroline couldn't help but to chuckle, "Right idea, wrong execution sweetie."
"Yeah okay... that is definitely true. But... I mean I didn't even stand up to Rachel when she thought it would be funny to throw my favourite comic in the lake." Charlie trailed off. "Punching someone was definitely wrong but... I think it's good that I'm finally starting to stand up to people."
Caroline exhaled, "Okay... you're... kind of right. But please refrain from punching anymore students." She insisted. "You would have definitely hated Auclair academy..." Charlie admitted, as he could remember all the physical fights between the many bickering, opinionated students. It had only gotten much worse when Clary and Tori met one another.
"Detention, for the next three days." Caroline decided as Charlie got to his feet. "Okay. And no more punching others, got it." The younger Salvatore said before he started moving towards the door.
Once Charlie left, Caroline frowned as she opened a drawer to reveal the Auclair student files. She hadn't actually read the files of either of her sons, believing that she knew them best... but now that Charlie had pointed out the similar themes between all of the Auclair students, she couldn't help but to worry more for them.

Olivia, Lexi and Josie moved the samurai away from the school to a more private spot, as they wanted to find out more about him. "Since when do you speak Japanese?" Lexi asked Josie, as she had never heard her speak the language before. "Since Lizzie's old therapist was next to a Japanese language school." Josie responded.
The samurai started talking, as Olivia and Lexi looked a little confused. "What is he saying?" Liv asked as Josie struggled to understand him, "... He's crazed?" She asked.
"Kurutta. Oh, I think that's his name. Also, another word for crazed." Josie explained to the pair. The samurai continued to try and explain himself as Josie did her best to translate what he was saying. "He's a demon hunter? Looking for an Oni, which is like a demon-ghost-monster kind of a thing." Josie translated as Olivia sighed, "I thought Landon and some others expelled Malivore." She stated as Josie shrugged, "So did I but... apparently not."
"Then the Oni's probably wherever Landon is." Lexi realised as Josie shook her head. "Uh, he said he followed his sword here, and it glows around Jintsu-riki?" The Saltzman paused before she realised, "Oh, oh, supernaturals. Okay. Makes sense why he wound up here."
Olivia and Lexi looked down at the sword, "Cool sword. I don't know if your Mum will be so happy with this guy swinging that around in the corridor. He might stab somebody." Lexi pointed out as Josie paused, "Yeah... maybe we should tell her about this." She admitted.
Kurutta then continued to speak in Japanese to Josie, as his words caused her to frown. "What is it?" Liv asked, with concern. The Saltzman turned to face her, "Kurutta said that we wouldn't know if the Oni was here or not. It possesses people, and it could be anywhere. In anyone."
"Oh god... I hope it's not here. Could you imagine a supernatural creature being possessed by a demon?" Olivia spoke in one breath. "We have to find and keep Landon safe before the oni takes him." The Auclair added. "Well then... back to the school?" Lexi asked as Olivia nodded, "Yep. To the school."

Lizzie and Corentin were standing in the Salvatore kitchen, as Lizzie was showing the Claire how to use their large, barista style coffee machine. After cleaning it, the pair were drinking hot chocolate that Corentin had made them, and talking about comics.
"Alex... you are such a DC nerd." Lizzie pointed out as Corentin chuckled, "Oh come on, and you're not?" He asked, through his thick French accent as Lizzie shrugged. "I tried to be... that was back when MG liked me and I tried to get into DC because I thought I liked him back. I did not like him back." The Saltzman rambled on.
"And besides... since I've been dating the lovely Aphie, we've been watching all these Marvel movies together. I gotta be loyal to Marvel now, right?" Lizzie admitted as Corentin took a sip of his hot chocolate. "Not necessarily. Dante and I just finished watching Loki. Even though I love DC, I'm really excited for whatever project they make next." The Claire responded.
"Loki... as in the emo guy that was obsessed with that glowy cube? As in, the guy who was like: I have been falling for thirty minutes!" Lizzie mocked, though she seemed surprised to see that he had his own television show. "Yeah, that's Loki." Corentin answered amusedly.
Aphrodite then entered the kitchen. After seeing Myrical's tattoo design, she knew she had to look for her girlfriend and talk to her about something. The big secret they were keeping.
"Hey sweetie." Aphrodite greeted as she approached Lizzie, as the pair shared a chaste kiss. "Morning Alex." The redhead offered the Claire a smile. "Morning Aphie!" Corentin smiled back.
Corentin's phone buzzed, catching everyone's attention. The Claire took his phone and read a message he'd gotten from Dante. "I gotta go meet up with Dante. I'll see you guys later." He said, as the couple said goodbye to him before he left.
Aphrodite turned her attention instantly to Lizzie. "Lizzie, I stayed up most of the night trying to come up with a way to tell Lexi the truth and I have nothing." The redhead spoke quietly. "I... I think we need more proof... just to confirm before I potentially ruin her life." The De Martel exhaled.
"Hmm..." Lizzie sipped on her drink before she had an idea. "You were adamant that Charlie and Lexi are twins, right?" She asked as Aphrodite nodded. "We could... try and find Charlie's birth certificate. Mine, Josie's and Luca's birth certificates reflect that we are triplets... maybe Charlie's would reflect something like that too. I think Mum has our birth certificates locked in her office."
"Okay, that could work." Aphrodite nodded, before she placed an arm around her girlfriend. "We just need a chance to get into your office when your Mum isn't there." She trailed off.

Faith sighed, as she reentered the common room, where Salem and Ezra were drinking from their individual blood bags. The tribrid glanced at them before she exhaled, "I can't deal with Victoria anymore. Sisters are beyond annoying."
"I could have told you that." Salem sassed, though there was no denying that while her half sister Nadia had been alive, she would have done anything for her, no matter how much they bickered over the silliest little things.
"I can't get her to stay here. Ezra, can you talk to her?" Faith asked, as her eyes trailed over to the raven haired vampire. Ezra shrugged, "I can talk to her as much as you like, but it won't change the relationship between you two." He pointed out.
"Faith, if you want Tori to listen to you, you need to give her a reason to trust you. You've been quite obviously treating her like a pawn in your game, it's not a surprise she is isn't cooperating." Ezra explained as Faith frowned.
A pawn was all Faith saw Tori as, but the Zhang had a point. She wasn't winning over her trust at all. "Okay. I hate to admit it, and I may never admit this again but... you make a good point." Faith exhaled, before she turned to leave the common room.
Faith paused, as Ezra suddenly stood a few feet in front of her, having used his enhanced speed to reach her. "Please try to be nice. She isn't coping very well with being here." The Zhang admitted as Faith raised an eyebrow, "Did she tell you that?" She asked as Ezra shook his head, "She didn't have to."
"I will play nice. Now let me pass." Faith huffed as Ezra stepped aside so that the tribrid could walk away. The auburn haired girl walked past the Zhang and went down the hallway, hoping to bump into Tori. Faith wouldn't openly admit it to him, but she despised how Ezra saw Tori and Hope as an extension of his own family. She wanted to destroy her sisters, and she knew in doing so she may lose Ezra forever.

"Sorry, demon hunter coming through." Olivia spoke as herself, Lexi, Josie and Kurutta walked through the hallway of the Salvatore school. "Did I hear that correctly?" Niko asked, as he approached them, though he paused when he saw the samurai standing with them. "Yes you did." Josie answered.
"Hey Neeks." Liv greeted as the Shiratori offered Olivia a smile, "Hey Livvy. Who's your friend?" He asked them curiously. "This is Kurutta— a demon hunting samurai, who lost his oni." Olivia answered before Lexi added, "We're gonna find it and kill it using this sword before the oni tries to take Landon to Malivore." The tribrid frowned, "Which by the way isn't gone??"
"Wait... Malivore still exists?" Niko paused. "But... Landon, Tori, Beau, Luca and I swear it wasn't there when we woke up at Triad." The Shiratori insisted, but it still made no sense because none of them could recall how Malivore disappeared. "Well... we can only assume this is Malivore's doing." Josie piped up.
"Any chance you can read his thoughts?" Liv then suggested to Niko. "Just to... confirm we're not getting played?" She asked nervously. "Sure." Niko smiled before he glanced at Kurutta, though his expression looked very concerned after trying to look into his mind. "Liv I'm gonna be honest... his thoughts are very unreadable."
The group then passed Lizzie, who was waiting for Caroline to leave her office so that herself and Aphrodite could raid it. "Do I even want to ask?" Lizzie questioned. "Let me fill you in, cuz." Lexi smiled before she quickly explained the situation to Lizzie. "Do you want to come?" Olivia then asked as Lizzie tried to think of an excuse on the spot, since she was going to be busy with Aphie.
Kurutta then started to talk in Japanese as Lizzie froze, "He's talking about me, isn't he? He's calling me crazy." Lizzie assumed as Josie shook her head, "No. No, he's talking about the Oni. It possesses people, makes them act crazy." She quickly explained.
Lizzie crossed her arms, "My mental health is the most precious thing that I have, Jo. I cannot risk crazy. I'm sorry." She decided before she looked between Josie, Liv, Lexi and Niko. "Goodluck guys." She said before she walked off.
Caroline raised an eyebrow as she suddenly approached the group, having left her office, "Uh, who is this?" The Salvatore asked the group. Tired of repeating themselves Josie just blurted out, "The new Malivore monster, Mum." Olivia awkwardly added, "... And we need to find Landon before a demon does."

Tori exited her dorm, wearing new attire she'd taken from her cousin's discarded collection of clothes. The hybrid was surprised when she saw Faith standing there, with her hand outstretched to knock.
"What do you want?" Tori demanded, as Faith took no offence to her tone despite it being painfully obvious that her younger sister didn't want to see her. "I wanted to apologise." Faith forced a fake smile.
"I can see that being here isn't easy for you... but I ask that you stay." Faith insisted as Tori frowned, "Look... I haven't been very nice to you, and I'm sorry." The tribrid added before Tori could protest. "I've been so focused on this mission and any of the flaws that... we haven't had any time to actually be sisters."
"Is that even something you want?" Tori asked as she crossed her arms. Faith nodded, before she reached out to place a hand on Tori's shoulder, "More than anything." She answered.
"Why don't we do something later?" Faith then suggested. "I'm gonna be tied up for a bit... trying to learn more about the Petrova doppelgängers and what not. But maybe when I come back we could hang out." The tribrid offered with a smile as Tori seemed taken aback by this. "Sure." Tori answered.
"All I ask is that you lay low for the day." Faith insisted, as Tori's face instantly fell. "I promise you will be able to see your friends soon." She quickly interjected before she added, "I actually have a task I need you to do in a couple of days, which will require you to visit your school... which means you can see your friends."
That hadn't initially been Faith's plan at all, she didn't want Tori to see any of her friends until after the ritual... but if she was going to win over her trust, this was the perfect opportunity to do so.
"But I have to ask, because I'm worried you'll end up disappointed..." Faith trailed off as Tori's curiosity was piqued. "What happens when you see your old friends again, and you're not the same person they got to know?" She asked, trying to set off some sort of negative spiral in the younger Mikaelson's head.
"Didn't they befriend the emotionless, unkind version of you?" Faith then added, continuing to poke as Tori kept attempting to speak only for her brain to not make any words. All the people she'd grown attached to when she was genuinely herself, she didn't talk to anymore. And Faith made a good point... those she was now close to, she had gotten to know while she was the version of herself that she despised. What if they didn't like who she really was?
"You seem worried." Faith pointed out, "Oh I didn't mean to stress you out." The tribrid insisted. Yes you did. Keeping Tori here for as long as she could, was Faith's plan. She wanted the blonde to fall apart, and to resort back to being a hybrid without humanity.
"Oh before I go... I forgot to give you this." Faith realised, before she reached into her pocket and grabbed hold of Tori's phone. The tribrid handed it to the shorter girl, as the O'Connell-Mikaelson took it. "Thanks." She answered, though Faith knew by getting in her head, the hybrid probably wouldn't be using it anytime soon just as she hoped.
"I have to go now but... I look forward to hanging out later." Faith forced another smile, as Tori smiled back weakly, her mind still occupied by Faith's suggestions. "Yeah, I do too." Victoria responded.

Gianna managed to pull herself onto a cushioned bench in the dorm corridor, which was against the window. She'd propped the window open, and was smoking. The ravenette kept an eye on the smoke detector down the hall, glaring at it as though she could telepathically demand it to not pick up on her smoking inside. "Do not blow this for me." They thought, as she took a puff of her cigarette, before breathing the smoke out of the window.
"Woah, you probably don't wanna get caught doing that." Landon's voice caught the Forde's attention. "You're even out of your chair... how are you going to get away if Ms Salvatore catches you?" The Kirby joked as Gia smiled smugly, "I never get caught." They said before patting the empty spot beside them, insinuating for Landon to join them.
Landon took a seat, as Gia offered her carton of cigarettes out to him. "Oh— no thanks. My lungs already hate me enough as it is." He chuckled awkwardly as Gia retracted her hand.
"What is it like to travel?" Landon asked, curiously. "Amazing." Gia smiled. "I've been travelling for a few years... I promised my parents I would study online but it was really hard. I was always moving from hostel to hostel and partying... meeting new people and seeing some of the most beautiful sights." Gianna trailed off before they shrugged, "To be honest... I also paid some smart strangers to do a lot of my assignments."
Landon chuckled, "It sounds nice... I haven't done really any travelling. I moved between foster homes if that counts?" He offered as Gia shrugged, "I guess it does." She answered, before she took one last puff of their cigarette.
"Hey... do you know any tutors for History? I don't think I'm going to pass the upcoming quiz." Gia admitted, before they pulled their chair closer to the bench, so they could pull themselves back into it. "Do you need a hand?" Landon quickly asked as Gia asked, "With History, yes. With my chair, no." The Forde responded as Landon laughed a little.
"I don't know US history well at all, let alone Mystic Falls history. And Professor Vardemus is the most boring person I have ever heard speak." Gianna explained as Landon shrugged, "I think everyone agrees with that last part. But I'm pretty good at History, maybe I could help you?" The Kirby offered. "Really? That would be amazing." Gia smiled.
The pair then turned around, hearing Eden approach them. "Who is that?" Gia asked, noticing Eden's eyes darken momentarily. "Beau's friend, who looks like she is going to kill us." Landon exhaled before he went to grab hold of Gia's chair and run the hell away.
Eden held out her hand, "Immobilus." She spoke, causing Landon to freeze in place. The Kirby's face showed fear, as Eden's eyes remained completely darkened. "I've been looking for you." The Winslow spoke, before Gia glared. "Let him go!" The Forde rushed toward Eden at full speed, knocking her with the wheelchair.
"Ow... what the fuck?!" Eden snapped, as her eyes seemed to return to normal. She looked around, seeming confused, "What am I doing here?" She questioned aloud, before she glanced at Gia, sensing her anger. She then looked over to Landon, who was fearful. "Did I do something?" Eden asked genuinely.
Suddenly Bellamy ran up the stairs, followed by a confused Zeke. "Bellamy where are you going?" Ezekiel asked as Bellamy's eyes landed on Landon. Her eyes blackened over, similarly to how Eden's had. "I'm looking for Malivore's son." The Mikealson-Lockwood stated.
As a result of Bellamy's magic, the ground began to rumble under their feet, causing the students to lose their footing. "Ahh!" Gia squeaked, as they slammed the brakes on their wheelchair, noticing they were moving uncomfortably close to the staircase. Landon, Eden and Zeke tried to get back onto their feet.
Bellamy threw out her arm, "Immobilus." She casted the same spell Eden had, keeping Landon in place. Eden grit her teeth before she looked to Bellamy, "Incendia." She spoke, setting fire to the werewitch's sleeve.
"Eden?!" Zeke blurted out as Bellamy, shook her sleeve, trying to put the flame out. "What the hell?!" The Mikealson-Lockwood snapped, as they put the flame out. "You'll pay for that!" Bellamy snarled, her darkened eyes turning to Eden.
"Ad somnum!" Liv casted a spell quickly, making Bellamy fall asleep. Zeke quickly reached out to catch his twin before she could fall to the ground. "Please don't attack me."Landon blurted out as Olivia, Lexi, Josie, Niko, Caroline and the samurai had rushed up the stairs. "Landon, we need to keep you somewhere safe." Caroline ordered.

Lizzie and Aphrodite entered Caroline and Alaric's office as Lizzie closed the door behind them. "Okay, we have to be quick." Lizzie insisted as she approached a filing cabinet that sat in the corner of the room. She began attempting to open it, only to realise that each drawer was locked.
"Yeah. I expected that." Aphrodite exhaled before the girlfriends approached Caroline's desk. "Hopefully she has the keys in here somewhere." Lizzie thought aloud as they both started to open drawers.
The door to the office then opened, and Lizzie was quick to shove Aphrodite under the desk. The redhead refrained from complaining, though she knocked her head. "Hi Mum." Lizzie greeted as Caroline raised an eyebrow, "Hey Lizzie."
The Salvatore seemed to be looking for something, "What are you doing in here?" Caroline asked as Lizzie shrugged, "I was looking for you." She lied.
The Saltzman realised she'd probably need to stall Caroline, and had an idea. She inhaled suddenly, as she moved her foot to tap Aphie, to get her attention. Lizzie then faked a sneeze, and in the same moment Aphie quietly casted a spell, "Invisique."
Now being cloaked in magic, the De Martel climbed out from under the desk. Caroline grabbed what she was searching for and started to walk towards the door. "I'm in the middle of protecting Landon and finding an Oni but, walk with me and talk?" Caroline suggested as Lizzie gave a nod.
The Saltzman approached her mother as she tried to think of something unsuspicious to speak to her about, to stall her so that Aphie could search.
The mother and daughter left, so Aphrodite went back to searching for keys. She opened every openable drawer in the officer and found nothing. That lead her to approach the filing cabinet with another idea.
There was one lock for the entire cabinet, which sat at the top of the drawers. Aphie shrugged before she punched it, her enhanced strength knocking the entire cabinet. Her knuckles went red, before the enhanced healing kicked in. The De Martel punched it again twice before the lock busted, and the drawers all opened. Somehow she knew Alaric wouldn't supernatural-proof his office enough.
Aphie began searching, as she eventually found a folder containing the birth certificates of Lizzie, Josie, Lucas and Charlie. The heretic flipped through them, and pulled Charlie's out of the folder. It looked normal and had no mention of Lexi, but it felt as though it was cloaked by magic. Aphrodite exhaled, as Lizzie suddenly entered the office. "I had to completely word-vomit my way out of that, but I think it worked." The Saltzman said as she approached her girlfriend.
"This is cloaked in magic." Aphrodite pointed out as Lizzie reached out to grab it. "What the hell." She blurted before her hands glowed red, as she began to siphon from it. Aphrodite stopped breathing for a moment, as she waited in anticipation. Then, as Lizzie had suggested, Lexi's name appeared on the birth certificate as Charlie's twin.
Aphie exhaled sharply, "I wanted to be wrong about this..." She confessed. "Lexi seems to love her adoptive parents... her whole life is going to be a lie." The De Martel added. "It is, and I'm mad about it. How could Mum and Stefan do such a thing?!" Lizzie snapped.
"What if they don't even know?" Aphrodite suggested as Lizzie frowned, "What do you mean?" She asked. "This birth certificate was cloaked in magic... as vampires, Caroline and Stefan would have had no idea." The De Martel pointed out.
"So you think it's Elena and Damon's doing?" Lizzie asked as Aphrodite shrugged, "I have no idea. I don't want to assume, but Lexi needs to know... at least she can seek answers if that is what she wants."
Aphrodite then took her phone, and took a picture of the birth certificate before she turned to place it back into the cabinet, along with the others.

Wylan seemed to be trying to keep up with Casper, as the werewolf was rushing around the school in search or something... or someone. "Casper, what the hell are you looking for?" Wylan questioned, as he reached out to grab his twin's arm. The shyer boy, who'd been completely silent, turned around to face his brother as his eyes had darkened over.
Wylan's eyes widened and he flinched in surprise before Casper spoke bitterly, "I need to find Landon Kirby." Wylan frowned, "What do you want with Landon?" He seemed puzzled, and slightly afraid.
"Don't let him go anywhere!" Zeke burst into the room, as his eyes landed on the Olmo twins. "What the hell is wrong with my brother?!" Wylan demanded as Ezekiel approached them, though he kept his guard up in worry that Casper was going to attack. "Long story short, there's a demon going around the school and possessing people. They want Landon for some reason." Zeke explained, not realising that Landon was actually the son of Malivore.
Casper then blinked in confusion, as his eyes returned to normal. "What am I doing here?" He asked, realising he'd left the library and was now standing in a corridor quite a distance away.
"Where did the demon go?" Wylan's face paled as Zeke looked around warily. That disappeared when Dante suddenly flew past them, having been basically thrown with magic. Bellamy, Cleo and Myrical then appeared, Bellamy being the one to launch him across the hall.
"Bellamy!" Myrical scolded, knowing that ought to have hurt the Rosza. "I'm trying to stop a demon from escaping, Ri. Violence is justifiable right now." The Lockwood-Mikaelson huffed in reply. "What do you want with the Salvatore school?" Cleo demanded, as Zeke, Casper and Wylan joined the group as they all cornered a very possessed Dante.
"I want nothing with this place. I need to find the son of Malivore, so you all need to get out of my way." The oni spoke, as Dante stepped forward. "We're not letting a demon escape the school." Myrical decided, her yellow wolf eyes shining as she spoke. "Fine. Bring it on." The oni hissed before Dante moved forward to start attacking the others.
"One versus six. I like our odds." Wylan admitted before the werewolves (plus Cleo) all tried to keep Dante from escaping, as they deflected his hits. After a few minutes, the Rosza stopped. "Woah... woah what the hell is going on here?" He questioned as he moved back, away from the group.
"The demon is gone." Zeke realised, as he looked around to see if anybody in their group was acting unusual, but nobody was. "It must have gone somewhere else." Myrical exhaled, hoping the other group being Liv, Josie, Lexi, Niko and now Caroline, had found Landon and made a way to keep him safe, because the demon was showing no signs of stopping it's search for him.
"Why... do I feel as though I've been hit by a truck?" Dante questioned, hoping his werewolf healing would help him to feel better sooner rather than later. "Christ, I need to sit down." The Rosza decided as he could feel every ache from Bellamy's attacks. "Sorry about that." Bellamy said quickly.
━━━━━ ⋆⋅♥︎⋅⋆ ━━━━━
"Okay, you need to stay protected." Caroline trailed off, as she placed a candle in the room. "Once you light this candle, a barrier will form around this room. Nobody should be able to enter or exit, so make sure you have everything you need." The Salvatore spoke to Landon, as Gia and Lucas were by his side.
"Do you have your History textbook?" Gia questioned as Landon nodded, "Yep. Hope you're ready for a study session." The Kirby turned to Lucas, who did not look excited at all. "Yawn." Luca responded as Gia laughed.
The trio entered the side room they were going to be sealed into. It was like a small common room, which had three sofa's surrounding a small table. Landon didn't know how long they were going to be in there, so he brought his acoustic guitar.
Caroline turned back to Olivia, Josie, Lexi, Niko and Kurutta. "Josie, I need your friend to tell us everything he can." The headmistress requested.
Josie turned to the samurai and started to speak in Japanese, he nodded in response and began to explain. "Kurutta-san..." Josie trailed off, as she tried to translate his words. "Dropped on his head as a baby... Samurai school to learn discipline... He learned to slay Oni demons, which is what we're chasing... He was a hero." She began to explain.
"All the women begged to Kurutta-san— I don't even know that word, but it cannot be relevant..." Josie stopped, wearing a frown as she was grossed out. "I'm glad I can't read his mind right now. I have enough grief with Beau." Niko admitted as Liv tried (and failed) at stifling a laugh.
"Josie, sweetie, make him get to the point." Caroline spoke as Kurutta continued to speak. "Kurutta spent months tracking down an Oni that possessed people, moving from person to person by touch. He was just about to kill it when it found its way into the body of a child and escaped him yet again. He gave chase and caught the demon... But he could not bring himself to harm an innocent child. So, instead, he made an impossible choice and he took the Oni into himself." Everyone stayed quiet, surprised by this.
"But it was then that he realised, unlike everyone else who had been possessed and remembered nothing, he was still partly in control of his faculties. He thinks the Oni found it harder to possess his broken mind. His words, not mine. He tried to stab himself with his sword, and the Oni wouldn't let him. So he decided to never touch a person again So that it could never possess anyone else. And then Malivore, eternity of nothingness deep psychological torment. He came through an ana. I think he's talking about a portal." Josie realised.
"Where is the portal?" Lexi asked. Josie just deadpanned Lexi, "Uh, sorry, the ancient samurai isn't an expert on Mystic Falls geography." She sassed the brunette.
"How do we kill the the demon?" Caroline asked, "Before it makes its way through the entire student body to get to Landon." Lexi added as Caroline gave the younger Salvatore a look. "Uh, with his sword. It's spelled with a special kind of magic, so if we can just find the Oni, he can kill it." Josie concluded.
Olivia looked back at Landon, Gia and Lucas. "Are you guys going to be okay in there? It could be a while." The Auclair looked at them sympathetically. Landon had a history textbook open on the table. "Free us!" Luca complained, though he was being dramatic. Niko chuckled, "Alright, see you guys later." He said, as Landon struck a match and lit the enchanted candle.
They left, leaving the trio alone. Luca looked over at Gia, who was listening to Landon as he explained some things to her. The Saltzman tried to make an effort to listen in, but he couldn't deny he found History to be boring.
About half an hour passed before Gia decided to make things more interesting. The Forde reached into the basket of their wheelchair, and suddenly pulled out two flasks before dropping them onto the table.
"Why don't we make this more exciting?" Gianna requested as Landon looked shocked, while Lucas looked amused. "It's 1pm on a Tuesday??" Landon blurted out as Gia shrugged, "It's 5 o'clock somewhere." They responded.
"Hm. Maybe I misjudged you." Lucas admitted, as he reached out to take one of the flasks. Gia offered a mischievous smile before they added, "Oh— one of them is whiskey, the other is tequila."
"Okay. I guess we're doing this." Landon decided, as he took the other flask. As the boyfriends each took a swig, as Landon soon wore an expression of disgust. "Of course I grabbed the tequila one." He grimaced as Lucas couldn't help but to burst out laughing.

AUTHORS NOTE
Olivia 🤝 Charlie
Introverted besties that are slowly becoming more confident in themselves, with the help of their loved ones around them
OKAY SO, Grant gave me this fucken cool idea regarding Maya and Ethan being supernatural... as soon as he suggested it, I absolutely fLEW to Wattpad to start incorporating the idea into the story. I think I mentioned previously, I didn't really like what happened to them in the show. Anyway bro, you dropped this 👑
Secondly, I had to split the chapter into 2 parts again because it became sooo long 🕳️ 🚶🏼♀️
The next chapter is a bit angsty. There will be some dark flashbacks of Tori's past. Meanwhile a group of students are still chasing the demon, while Landon, Lucas and Gia are getting lit on a Tuesday afternoon.
