❝I DID SOMETHING BAD❞
━━━━━ ⋆⋅♥︎⋅⋆ ━━━━━
Victoria entered the common room, looking around for Glen. She had knocked on Valerie's dorm door to see if he was there and the werewolf had assured her that Glen fell asleep elsewhere.
Valerie wasn't overly fond of Tori anymore. Once upon a time they were friends, Val even had a crush on the hybrid, but after watching how she carelessly broke Glen's heart over the years, they didn't really like the Mikealson much.
That's why Tori was surprised that Val had actually told her the truth, because Glen was in the common room... only he wasn't alone, he was cuddled up to Charlie as they fell asleep by the fireplace together.
Tori seemed surprised by this, and moved over to poke Glen in the shoulder. "Glen..." She said in a loud whisper, causing the werewolf's eyes to flutter open. Seeing Tori's head hover above him, his eyes widened and he sat up, unintentionally smashing his forehead against hers.
"Ow." Tori mumbled, moving aside as she rubbed her forehead. Of course with magic blood, the pain didn't last.
"That... that actually hurt." Glen confessed, rubbing his own forehead before he looked over at Charlie, who was still fast asleep despite the noise they were making.
"Can I help you?" Glen asked Tori, fairly bluntly. Victoria wasn't taken back by his tone, "I made you breakfast." She quickly said, hoping to win him over. He wasn't amused.
"That's actually a metaphor, I was hoping we could talk." Tori admitted, as Glen couldn't help but to notice how different she seemed. "Did you... turn on your humanity?" He asked, a lite unsure.
Tori nodded, flashing her sweet smile. "I did... but we can talk about it over breakfast?" She asked. Glen looked away, back at a sleeping Charlie before he got to his feet.
"Fine, but I'm taking Charlie back to his dorm first." He decided, scooping the Salvatore into his arms before he walked away, not waiting for Tori to respond.
A few minutes later, Glen entered the kitchen where Tori was seated on the counter. By the stool sat a plate, knife and fork all neatly seat up.... though on the plate stood a tall can of Monster.
"Wow... real funny." Glen replied, though he was slightly amused. Tori couldn't help but to laugh— a genuine sound he hadn't heard in years. "Sorry I just... I have never really seen you eat proper food. I thought it was funny." The hybrid insisted as Glen rolled his eyes playfully before he took the can of Monster and opened it.
"Well, what did you want to talk about?" Glen asked, taking a sip of his caffeinated beverage. "Us." Tori began, "Particularly... how horrible I was to you."
Glen placed the can down on the counter and looked to her. Upon making eye contact, Tori quickly looked away as tears stung her eyes. Everytime she looked at the Forde, she could remember just how awful she had been to him while she had no humanity.
Eventually, she looked back to Glen, "I'm so sorry Glen... How I treated you was so horrible." Glen listened, but didn't respond as he felt like Victoria had more to say.
"I... I loved you and one minute I treated you as so, and the next I shut you out and acted as though you meant nothing to me." Tori explained, reaching out to take Glen's hands gently in her own.
"You were my last tether to my humanity and if I didn't push you away, I couldn't drown out the feelings of grief and anger that were eating away at me. It was selfish, but at the time all I wanted..." Victoria began to explain, "Pushing you away crushed me, but it completely broke you, and I.. I can't even begin to explain how sorry I am."
Glen looked up at Tori, noticing that for the first time in months she had a genuine expression gracing her features. Tears pooled in her blue hues, as guilt racked her face. She wished she could truly take away all of the pain she had caused him.
"I... I appreciate the apology." Glen finally said, pulling his hands away from Tori. "I think it will just take some time for me to... accept it." He sighed heavily, trying to fight back tears of his own.
Victoria quickly nodded, "Of course." She said, taking a step back, as she felt like she may have smothering his personal space a bit too much.
"You broke my heart... and it took me god, so long to ever want to open my heart up again to somebody..." Glen trailed off, as Tori tilted her head. "Is there someone... special then?" She asked curiously.
Glen nodded, "Well... perhaps. We haven't established anything or... even admitted to anything but..." He trailed off. "I... do have a crush on somebody."
"It's Charlie, isn't it?" Tori asked, as Glen's eyes widened, as he didn't plan on telling her a name. "H... How did you..." The Forde stammered, as the Mikealson smiled. "You guys have been hanging out a lot recently and I can see that you've been happier for it." She said. "You've had this smile that I haven't seen in so long."
"I won't tell him... don't worry. But I am happy for you." The blonde insisted, as Glen nodded. "Thanks." He replied, not really wanting to talk to the hybrid for much longer.
Victoria had once meant everything to him, and now he just wanted to keep his distance. Sure, he appreciated the apology but... there was no way he could accept it instantly and move on as if Tori didn't really do some damage to the wolf.

By the docks, Niko stood with a punching bag as Hope was throwing balled fists of fury at the bag. Sitting nearby were Aphrodite and Laura, who were watching.
"Hey Hope... please don't kill Niko." Laura spoke up, while Aphrodite sat behind her, braiding her raven locks. Laura was meeting up with Maya and had asked that her roommate made her hair look pretty for their date (even though they didn't call it that)
Hope looked to Niko, wondering why he hadn't said anything about her punching the bag receiving too much force, and then she saw his nervous expression. "I can sense that you're very upset with yourself." Niko stated.
"I am." Hope admitted, as she punched the bag again. "I basically let the Necromancer go. I should have killed him when I had the chance, but Dr Saltzman and Salvatore both said not to and now he is free because Kiara took the freaking knife to Malivore!" The Mikealson finished, as she had punched her way through the bag now, as the stuffing went everywhere.
"Well... that is definitely broken." Niko spoke as Hope sighed. "Fuck, I wasn't finished punching it yet." She confessed, still agitated.
"Woah, what happened here?" Lizzie asked, as herself, a now awake Charlie and Josie approached the docks. Lizzie separated from her siblings to walk over to her girlfriend.
"Hope was a little angry." Niko stated, holding the remnants of the boxing bag in their hands. "A little? I'm fucking outraged." Hope responded. "Hope... none of this is your fault." Niko assured her, but she refused to believe it.
Aphrodite looked a little confused to why Josie was with them, since there had been a lot of drama between the Saltzman-Salvatore siblings as of late. As if Charlie could read the mind of his sister's girlfriend he said, "Josie has burnt her bridges with everyone else so now she just follows us like a lost puppy."
"Hey! Could you stop with the comments? All of you?" Josie snapped, growing frustrated at her siblings remarks lately, particularly from Charlie and Lucas.
"Hey... I didn't say anything." Lizzie stated, looking as though she was a child who had just gotten in trouble from their parents. "You did nothing wrong." Aphie assured the blonde before placing a rough kiss on her forehead.
"Wonderful. They brought their sibling drama here..." Niko sighed. "There is enough anger around here right now, so could you guys go somewhere else?" Hope snapped, as she had already been furious prior to them approaching the docks.
Lizzie, Charlie and Josie all looked at Hope in surprise for her anger before Niko awkwardly stated, "There is a lot of hostility on this dock... it's a little uncomfortable." They scratched the back of their head, nervously.
"Fine. But you're coming with us." Lizzie stated, looking at Hope. "What! why?" Hope asked the Saltzman. "Because some scream therapy is calling your name." Lizzie responded quickly.
"Wh— I don't need to scream in the woods, Lizzie." Hope huffed as Charlie linked his arm through Hope's. "Yes you do, Hope. Come on, you'll feel so much better." The Salvatore declared.
Once Charlie and Hope were by Lizzie, the blonde linked her arm through Hope's free arm and the trio began to walk away. Josie went to follow but Charlie quickly said to her, "We don't need anymore negative energy Josette, so why don't you just stay here?"
Josie deadpanned her brother and watched as the trio left. Niko could tell she was upset, and wished for just a moment he could escape the negative emotions he was feeling from everybody this morning.
"You started this." Aphrodite spoke up, still sitting by Laura. Josie turned to Aphrodite, a hurt expression on her face, "I'm aware of that, but I want to know how to fix it."
"Hmm.. well you do feel guilty for your actions, so that is a start." Niko began, as Josie looked to him. "Are you reading my mind?!" She asked in a panic, as she tried to cover her head with her hands as if it would stop him.
Aphrodite and Laura burst out laughing, as this was wildly normal for them. Everyone at Auclair Academy had gotten used to Niko looking into people's minds, because most of the time he really couldn't help it. When Niko looked at a person, he wouldn't just see a person but their feelings and thoughts too.
"Sorry... I can't help it. I don't mean to pry." The Shiratori admitted, feeling embarrassed.
"Well, I have to ask you..." Aphrodite trailed off, catching Josie's attention. "Are your apologies genuine and meaningful? Or are you just trying to smooth things over for your own reputation and benefit?" She asked, as Josie looked away, thinking about it.
"Because if it's the latter, than don't waste your time... you're not going to fix any of these broken relationships if you aren't being genuine." The De Martel continued.
Josie suddenly got to her feet, "You're right— and I have a list of apologies to make..." She confessed, "But... there's one in particular that is really overdue." She said, before she rushed away, leaving Aphrodite and the Shiratori cousins.
Laura got to her feet, as did Aphie. "I think your words may have left an impact on her." Niko piped up, as the trio began to walk together. "Her thoughts were clouded with guilt... I think somebody in particular may have been on her mind." They added.

Tori stood by the garden, that the younger kids regularly cared for, as she looked at the sad state of the plants.
One thing she had enjoyed growing up, was keeping all of the plants alive in the Mikealson compund. She was the only one who seemed to take care of them, other than her Aunt Freya.
Looking at the Salvatore school garden, Victoria was disappointed in how dry it looked— the plants were surely starving.
The blonde haired hybrid picked up a large watering can, before speeding away to a tap to fill it with water. Soon she returned, and she went through the garden to water every starved plant.
"Oh you poor things... you must be so thirsty." Tori sighed, before she felt a presence. "Yes, Carice... I'm talking to the plants." The O'Connell-Mikealson grumbled awkwardly before she turned around to indeed see the Bailey witch standing there.
"I've never seen a vampire so interested in a garden." Clary admitted, as usually the witches seemed to care for it, since most of the plants were used in their spells and rituals.
"Well somebody has to be... look at how sad these poor babies look!" Tori admitted as she placed the watering can down, while Carice tried to stifle a giggle. "You're really laughing at me right now?" She huffed, causing Carice to laugh more.
"I can't help it... I forgot how adorable Humanity-Tori is." Carice confessed, as Victoria blushed. "You... think I'm adorable?" She asked.
Carice realised what she had said and quickly tried to back peddle, "I mean... no, but—" She stammered, as Tori looked a little smugly at the Bailey who laughed nervously, "Fine... Maybe I do, but honestly who wouldn't?" Clary asked rhetorically.
Tori shrugged, not seeming to have her usual confidence, "I have to disagree. Everyone has the right to hate me for what I did... especially Glen... and especially you." The Mikealson admitted as Carice tilted her head, "I..." She paused, unsure on what to even say. On one hand, she came from the Bennett bloodline and she was supposed to hate Mikealsons, but could she really ever truly hate Tori?
"We were enemies... and I tried to play you like I did Glen... using you guys without a care to just move onto somebody else. It's a horrible way to treat people." The hybrid insisted as Clary shook her head, "I was horrible to you too... I always have been." The Bailey began.
"Ever since we first met... I made it my job to villainise you and Hope... but all along the villain has been me." Carice awkwardly laughed, as Tori went to disagree but Clary knew she was right.
"I don't hate you, Tori. Maybe I did once... but I could never hate you now, even after everything that you've done." Clary assured the blonde, as she took her hands gently in her own.
Tori looked down at their joined hands, before looking back up at Carice. "Even though I was malicious with my intentions... everything that happened between us while I had my humanity off... it was real, at least for me." Victoria insisted.
Clary nodded, "It was real to me too." She spoke, before she found herself gazing into Tori's blue eyes. Tori couldn't help but to smile, as she looked to Carice longingly, before she leant forward and kissed the witch.
Carice's eyes closed, as she began to kiss the hybrid back, while her hands found themselves moving to cup Victoria's cheeks. Tori couldn't help but to smile into the kiss as she threw her arms around Clary's waist, before the pair finally broke apart.
"Wow." Clary blurted, before she laughed. "I know we've kissed so many times before but that felt so different?" She admitted confusedly as Tori agreed, also giggling slightly as the pair continued to hold eachother.

"Listen up 4's, the 10 is talking." Beau announced, approaching Lucas, Landon, Wade, MG and Rafael who were sitting around a table. "Except for you Lucie, you're a 12." The Lazuli winked as Lucas rolled his eyes at his best friend's dramatics.
"I have acquired coffee to everyone's liking and some snacks... please tell me you've helped my boy come up with a decent list of potential Salvatore enrolments." Beaumont spoke, placing the tray of coffee down, before emptying his pockets of snacks he had taken from the kitchen pantry.
MG noticed that Beau had royally fucked up his coffee, which he figured had to he intentional. Beau had been mad at the Greasley lately, and the vampire honestly wasn't sure why.
"Well... we have Veronica Mikealson and Corentin Claire as potential enrolments, they actually mentioned wanting to come here next semester." Landon piped up, as Hope had told him this after Amelia's departure.
"Okay... two more Mikealsons, not ideal but we can take that." Beau declared, taking a seat beside Lucas. The Lazuli reached out and placed a hand gently on the Saltzman's shoulder. Lucas looked at Beau, giving a weak smile in response.
Lucas was stressed. The school had financial issues and Alaric had said it was on him to find new students. Though he had said it out of anger, Lucas took it very seriously... he didn't want the school to close down, because then there would be so many students without homes.
"What about Ashley and Aaron Bennett-St.John?" MG piped up, as Rafael tried not to seem repulsed by that idea. "Anything you want to say, Raf?" Landon asked, noticing his brother's change in body language.
"Aaron is so frustrating..." Rafael sighed, "I mean I get that we need students but why him?" He added as Beau had a smirk on his lips, "I'm sensing enemies to lovers." He said, as Lucas broke out laughing while Rafael grew flustered.
"Are you serious right now?!" Rafael asked, frustrated at Beau's comment. "Sorry... I'm using humour to cope with the fact that this place is going to crumble and nobody will have a home because Alaric hid his money issues... probably has something to do with his drinking problems."
"Not funny." MG spoke up, as Beau looked to him, "Oh, so the manwhore speaks." He replied instantly as MG now looked annoyed too.
Beau, MG and Rafael broke out into a brawl, which mostly consisted of loud yelling. Landon looked to Lucas, who was massaging his temples as he was ready to explode.
"Okay, enough! I need you guys to leave!" Lucas declared in visible annoyance. Beau, Rafael and MG all fell quiet, though they could see on his face that he was extremely pissed off
"Okay.." Rafael awkwardly started leaving. "Sorry man." MG replied, also leaving. "Sorry Lucie." Beau said, blowing his best friend a kiss before he left.
"Are you okay?" Landon asked, once it was just himself and his boyfriend. "Better now, that the noise is gone." He insisted before he decided to help himself to one of the cups of coffee, unintentionally drinking the one meant for MG.
"Ew, was this made to kill somebody?!" Lucas asked, after spitting the disgustingly made coffee back into the cup. "I think that was the coffee Beau made for MG." Landon noted, as Lucas pushed the cup away.
"Okay... so we have Veronica, Corentin, Ashley and Aaron as potential candidates for new students... who else can we think of?" Lucas asked, bringing their attention back to the task at hand.
"What about Lexi?" Landon asked, as Lucas shrugged before he written her name down. "It will definitely cause more Josie drama because they hate eachother... but Lexi is pretty cool so I don't care." The Saltzman decided.
"I used to work with a girl named Finch, at the Grill. Obviously I didn't know back then about the supernatural but she sort of had moments where it seemed so." Landon admitted, as Lucas seemed intrigued. "What do you mean, babe?"
"Well... I once saw her with yellow eyes— like a werewolf." Landon stated as Lucas was a little amused. "Okay... but we don't know for sure that she is a werewolf. We can't just go up to her and ask, Hey, are you a werewolf? If so you should come to our school!" The siphon witch replied with a slight chuckle.
"Maybe we should take a break... you've been at this all morning." The Kirby suggested, reaching out to place a hand on Luca's cheek. Lucas allowed his boyfriend to caress his cheek, as he exhaled, "I need to stay busy, Lan... maybe we should try and learn more about you. There's gotta be books about Phoenixes in the library... we can find out if that's what you really are." The Saltzman suggested.
Landon inhaled, wanting to protest and insist his boyfriend relaxed but he knew the Saltzman was only trying to distract himself because he couldn't get the image of seeing Landon dead out of his mind... even though the raven haired boy didn't plan on dying, he couldn't help but to blame himself.
"Okay, let's go to the library." Landon insisted, getting to his feet as he reached out for Lucas' hand. Lucas took it, giving the Kirby a soft smile before following along as Landon lead them to the library.

Olivia joined Myrical in the common room, as she brought the Benning a cup of herbal tea. "Thanks Livvy." Riri replied, taking the cup as Liv sat beside her.
"I was thinking of properly joining the wolf pack." Liv suddenly said, as Myrical took a sip of her tea before she faced the Auclair. "Really?" She asked in surprise, as Liv nodded.
"Yeah... I mean, with Valerie in charge it feels like a safe place now... and it could be a really fun way to make friends." Olivia trailed off, wanting to put herself out there more, as Myrical finished her tea. "That could be fun... I'll join with you." She decided as Liv smiled, "Really?" She asked as Myrical nodded eagerly, "Yeah, really!"
With that, the pair got to their feet, deciding to head to the gymnasium. Upon entering they found Valerie practicing gymnastics on a metal bar. Jed was nearby with Rafael, practicing goal shooting with a basketball. Other werewolves were scattered throughout the gym, doing various activities.
"Hi Valerie." Liv greeted, as the purple haired wolf leapt from the gymnast bar and landed on the floor, infront of Olivia and Myrical. "Hey Liv, hey Riri. What's up?" The Harlowe asked.
"Uh... we are interested in joining the pack." Olivia spoke up, as Valerie's face lit up. "Really? That would be awesome! We'd love to have you!" They spoke excitedly.
"There is one condition though..." Jed began, approaching the group. He stood beside Valerie, taking their hand with his which caused Myrical to blurt out, "Are you guys dating?"
Valerie giggled at the sudden question, while Jed seemed a little flustered. "We are.. I guess we have been for a while but we didn't really put a label on it." Val admitted, giving their boyfriend's hand a squeeze.
They seemed like a happy couple... what the werewitch best friends didn't know is that they were having issues at the moment because Valerie had developed feelings for Kaleb also... and even though Val was poly, Jed was struggling with his partner having feelings for somebody else at the same time.
"I'm happy for you guys." Liv smiled, before she asked, "What is this one condition, though?" She was a bit nervous for the answer, knowing that when Jed was the alpha, everyone who wanted to join the pack had to tell everyone how they broke their curse.
Both Olivia and Myrical were still haunted by how they had broken their curses... and they weren't willing to tell the rest of the pack.
"Oh... the one condition is that you have to beat me at a game of basketball." Jed declared, as Liv and Myrical both looked relieved. Since Valerie was in charge now, they'd abolished the original rule Jed had in place, feeling like a wolf should only open up about their past if they were comfortable to do so.
"Okay... let's play." Liv spoke eagerly, although she wasn't the best at basketball. Neither was Myrical, but they didn't see the harm in playing a game.

Entering the Grill, Maya couldn't contain the smile on her face upon seeing Laura. The Machado peered down at her phone one last time, noticing a message from Nina wishing the girl goodluck on her date, before she got to her feet and rushed over to the Shiratori.
"Hey! You look beautiful!" Maya insisted, going in for a hug. Laura hugged the girl, her cheeks tinted pink after receiving the compliment. "Thanks Maya! You look so lovely too... you always do." Laura trailed off, already worried she was making a fool of herself.
"Cmon, I grabbed us a table by the fire place." Maya declared, taking Laura's hand as she lead the vampire over to their table. They passed the bar, where Finch stood behind, sadly watching.
"I thought you were over her." Lexi piped up, sitting on a stool nearby. Finch looked over at her friend, who was waiting for her takeaway order to be ready. "I am over Maya... but for some reason it still hurts to watch." The Tarrayo admitted, opening the small glass filled dishwasher underneath the bar.
Taking a cloth, she began to dry and put away glasses while Lexi watched. "That sucks." The Salvatore stated, not really understanding the feeling of ending a relationship that meant something to you.... She'd only really dated Connor, and that was to steal money from him as revenge for bullying Charlie.
"Hey... have you heard any word from Jaz?" Lexi suddenly asked, tapping her nails on the counter as she thought about her blonde haired friend. The Moritz hadn't been coming to school lately, and Lexi would be lying if she said she didn't miss her.
"Didn't you hear? Her parents withdrew her from school... only a few days after the disco. They're moving out of town, too." Finch spoke, closing the dishwasher now as she'd emptied it. Lexi's face fell, before she noticed how sad Finch looked sad about it too.
When Finch and Maya ended things, Jazzy was instantly there for Finch... that was until her parents suddenly took her out of Mystic Falls High and said they were relocating.
Finch got called into the kitchen, leaving Lexi alone. The brunette was upset to hear that one of her only close friends were leaving, which made her feel... unsettled. She had friends... like Maya, Nina and Finch... but felt like she was becoming really close to Jaz.
The Tarrayo returned, holding a paper bag. "Here's your food." She said, with a smile as she handed Lexi the takeaway bag. "Thanks. I'll see you around." Lexi responded, taking the bag as she got off the stool. "Bye Lexi." Finch said as the heretic left the Grill.
Meanwhile, Maya and Laura were keeping warm by the fireplace, as they sipped on their drinks. "So what do you like to do for fun?" Maya asked, curious about Laura's hobbies.
"I umm... I like sword fighting." Laura admitted, earning a surprised look from Maya. "I also like ice skating, but I haven't done it in years." The Shiratori added.
Maya reached over the table, taking Laura's hands in her own which caused the vampire to jump. "Wow... your hands are cold." The Machado realised, quickly letting go of them.
"Oh..." Laura blurted, "Yeah its just... so cold outside." The vampire quickly said, "I guess my hands became cold."
"What are your hobbies?" Laura then asked, wanting to change the subject. "I like experimenting with makeup... Nina is my canvas most of the time." The Machado admitted as Laura nodded, "Thats really cool... you always have such creative makeup looks." She confessed.
Maya smiled, before she peered down at the menu, "What are you going to order?" She asked, as Laura then also looked at the menu in front of her. "Would... it be weird to eat pancakes for lunch?" The Shiratori awkwardly asked as Maya laughed, "Uh no, I don't think so." The Machado decided.
"Then I guess I'm having pancakes." Laura decided, closing the menu as Maya had an amused smile. "I'm probably going to have a cheeseburger. The burgers here are really good."
━━━━━ ⋆⋅♥︎⋅⋆ ━━━━━
After a few games of basketball with the wolves, Liv was sitting on a bench, trying to cool off. She exercised regularly, but even so she found the wolves to be quite intense.
Herself and Myrical unfortunately hadn't won against Jed and Rafael, but fortunately Valerie let them into the pack regardless because they had put up a fight during the game.
"Wow, looks like somebody worked up a sweat." Josie's voice rung, causing Liv to snap her head in the direction of the Saltzman. "Uh... yeah." Liv responded, giving Josie nothing as she turned her head back around.
Josie's face fell before she asked, "Can I sit?" Liv looked up, a little confusedly but nevertheless scooted over to give Josie room to sit down.
The Saltzman took a seat, and inhaled sharply before she looked to Olivia. "Liv... I am so sorry for what I did to you... I had feelings for you and Penelope both and I didn't know what to do... I should have handled it better." She explained, with a guilty expression on her face.
Liv's face fell, "I appreciate the apology." She admitted, "And.. I'm sorry too. I'm sorry for lashing out at Penelope in response. I never meant to hurt her... or you." The Auclair trailed off, as Josie nodded, "I believe you."
Olivia had a look of surprise, not expecting Josie to say that, since she had been most disgusted by Liv's outburst.
"Is there... any chance of us becoming friends?" Josie asked, as Liv kept her eyes on the ravenette. "Yeah... I mean, it might be a little weird but... I'm always open to becoming friends again." Olivia insisted before realising she needed to set a boundary, "I... am not interested in dating though, just to be clear."
Josie laughed lightly, "That's fine... I don't blame you." She confessed, "Besides... I know you have a crush on Lexi."
Liv's face flushed at this comment, "How... do you know that?" She asked, not denying it. Josie smiled a little smugly, "I may have overheard Charlie and Lizzie talking about it... they totally ship you guys." The Saltzman admitted, probably overstepping by exposing her siblings.
"Ah— that's kinda weird." Olivia admitted awkwardly. "Perhaps... just be careful?" Josie asked as Liv didn't seem to follow. "Lexi... she's a bit reckless and I don't want to see you heartbroken, again." The Saltzman elaborated.
Liv's face fell, though she didn't think much of Josie's words. Lexi had always been so kind to her... maybe Josie had a different experience with Lexi, but Liv had formed her own opinion on the Salvatore.
━━━━━ ⋆⋅♥︎⋅⋆ ━━━━━
With the sun beginning to set, Laura and Maya left the Grill. "Okay... their cheeseburgers are so good." Laura spoke up, as Maya had offered a bite of her burger to the vampire.
"I told you!" Maya giggled before she turned to face Laura, as this was where they would part ways. "Thank you for today... I had so much fun." The Machado said with a smile.
"So did I!" Laura blurted out with a smile, seeming to be a lot more comfortable around the ravenette. "When will I see you again?" The Shiratori then asked.
"Hmm... how about tomorrow?" Maya suggested, "At the Founder's day ceremony? My Mum has to help and Nina, Ethan and I were going to hang out in the square." The Machado explained, as Laura nodded. "Yeah, that could be fun!" She responded.
Seeing Laura smile so much, made Maya melt. The ravenette always seemed more reserved and introverted, but now she was so talkative with Maya and comfortable.
Maya stepped forward, placing a kiss on Laura's cheeks which cause the Shiratori to blush. As Maya pulled away, Laura looked into her eyes longingly before she stepped forward and cradled Maya's face with her hands, before placing a kiss on her lips.
Maya was really shocked now, that the reserved and awkward Shiratori had initiated this, but she was also really happy. Laura knew if she had a beating heart, it would have skipped a beat when Maya began to kiss back.
They eventually pulled away, as Laura had a nervous smile on her lips, as Maya had a loving one. "I'll see you tomorrow." Maya spoke coyly, as Laura's hands fell down to her side.
"Yeah! See you tomorrow!" Laura called out, as Maya began walking away. Turning her back, Laura cheered to herself before she began to head back to the Salvatore school.

Sitting in the common room, was a tired Hope. The tribrid seemed exhausted, which was a rare sight. Perhaps she has exerted all of her pent up rage and was ready to sleep.
Niko approached the girl, carrying two Matcha lattes he had made in the kitchen. He always made it for himself and Laura, but it looked like Hope could use company and a warm drink so he decided to make one for her.
"Hey Hope." Niko greeted with a smile, as his infectious smile caused the tribrid to smile herself. "Hey Niko." She responded as the Shiratori offered her a mug. "You look like you could use a hot drink... and maybe some company?"
Hope smiled warmly as she took the mug, although she seemed unsure about what the drink was. "I guess so, only if that company is you." Hope decided as Niko chuckled before he took a seat beside her.
"What is this?" Hope asked, motioning to the mug. "It's a Matcha Latte." Niko answered, "Matcha is a powder made from green tea leaves... it can be a bit sweet when mixed with milk, so I didn't add any sugar." The Shiratori explained.
Hope took a sip of the drink, before her eyes lit up with excitement. "Wow! That's really nice!" She admitted, before she quickly drank the latte, as though she couldn't get enough of it.
Niko couldn't help but to chuckle, sensing that she felt a lot happier and relaxed now, and it was thanks to him.
Hope smiled sweetly at Niko, and opened her mouth to say something, but didn't seem to get the chance as Alaric and Dorian rushed in, both seeming worried.
Niko deadpanned Alaric, wishing he didn't have to interrupt them. The Saltzman was always looking for Hope whenever he had a problem, and he hated it... why couldn't he just let her be a kid, like everyone else?
"Hope, there's a problem." Alaric announced, alarming the girl now, much to Niko's distain. "What's wrong?" Hope asked, getting to her feet, as did Niko.
"We had an urn sealed in the cabinet of artefacts, and it's gone." Dorian explained as Hope and Niko shared a look of surprise before the Mikealson grumbled, "Landon..."
"It wasn't Landon, he's still here with Rafael." Alaric assured her, "But Victoria seems to be missing." He added, as Hope's eyes widened.
"Dr Saltzman, why didn't you lead with that?!" Hope grumbled, visibly panicked now. "My sister is more important to me than your artefact!" She added.
"Because, I think Tori may have taken it." Alaric added as Niko scoffed, "That is so bullshit." They said, catching Alaric and Dorian off guard.
"You are totally making that up! You don't trust her, like you don't trust any of us Auclair students!" Niko snapped, growing irritated with the headmaster.
Alaric went to argue, but Dorian decided to suggest a more rationale idea. "Why don't we do a locator spell on Tori? That will give us the answer on if she took it or not." The Williams enquired, as Hope nodded, rushing away to grab a map.

Approaching the Mayor's hall, was a vengeful blonde vampire. Rachel walked up the stairs and into the hall, looking around for somebody.
She then entered the mayor's office, seeing Matt Donovan sitting in his chair. He looked up, surprised to see the Diamond, but also a little annoyed because he wasn't mentally prepared to deal with the headaches that were the Diamond family.
"Hi Rachel, is everything okay?" Matt asked, as Rachel approached the desk. "No... nothing is okay. I'm having issues with my Mum." Rachel began, rounding the desk to approach the mayor, as she pretended to be upset.
"I'm sorry to hear that, but your Mum isn't here... maybe I could call her in so that you can talk to her." The Donovan suggested, getting to his feet as Rachel stood in front of him now.
"No... I'd rather talk to you." The vampire decided, even going as far to cook up some fake tears, as they rolled down her cheeks.
Feeling sorry for the girl and all the pressure she must deal with upon being Leanne's daughter, Matt's shoulders slumped. Leanne often worked with the council and he knew she was definitely hard work... he could only imagine how hard she must be on her own family.
Rachel lurched forward, hugging the taller man as Matt awkwardly hugged her back, realising she must need a hug more than he knew.
Except she didn't.
Rachel then used her vampire speed to push Matt into the wall, as he gasped for air. "Rachel!" He called out, but the Diamond was quick to cover his mouth with a cloth, soaked in chloroform.
As the Donovan tried to struggle out of her grip, the Diamond kept him in place with her strength, keeping his mouth covered until he fell unconscious, his limp body leaning on her.
With a wicked smile, Rachel took hold of the Mayor, before speeding them away, out of the hall.

"Tori... Tori..."
With her eyes closed, Tori began to wander, following the voice that called out to her. The same voice that had called out to her most nights while she was asleep... a voice so familiar to her, yet she was so unsure of it.
"Tori... Help me... Help me, please."
The blonde was completely clueless to her sleepwalking, as she always had been. She was too invested in her dream to wake up, she just knew she had to find the person who was calling for her.
"Tori... Wake up!"
Tori's eyes shot open, finding herself in a place that was unfamiliar. She was standing on the edge, only moments away from falling into a black, bubbling pit if the voice hadn't awoken her.
Realising how close she was to the edge, she let out a squeak and she jolted back, though as she moved she let go of an object she hadn't even realised she'd been holding the entire time.
"No!" Tori cried out, helplessly watching as the urn she'd carried all the way from the Salvatore school, fell into the bubbling pit below.

AUTHORS NOTE
This is one of the last chapters for Act one! I'm getting a little emotional, don't mind me 🥺
The next (and potentially last for Act 1) chapter is a bit hectic... a lot goes on and it is very TVD-like 😌
Unfortunately with the creator of Jazlyn Moritz disappearing from Wattpad, I feel like I have no choice but to write her off.
