ACTIONS AND CONSEQUENCES

━━━━━ ⋆⋅♥︎⋅⋆ ━━━━━

Penelope stood in the change rooms, relieved to be away from the fighting. What she didn't expect, was for Olivia to bring a fight to her.

The ravenette currently was approaching Penelope, as waves of magic flowed throughout her body at an unstable rate. There was a red spark in her eyes, which was like nothing anybody had ever seen, as well as a red aura surrounding her.

The Park spun around, her eyes landing on the angry girl. "Oh jesus... what is your problem?" Penelope asked, crossing her arms. Liv let out a slight chuckle, "You're my problem. Josie is my problem.. God, I'm just.... So full of rage when I think of either of you."

Penelope let out a half scoff, half laugh. "Is this your way of saying that you're jealous of us? Of me, for being Josie's girlfriend instead of you?" She asked, "Because if I'm being honest, it's really pathetic."

Liv thrusted her left arm forward, as she telekinetically threw Penelope across the change rooms.

"I shut everybody out after I lost control... everyone feared me, and I felt like a monster." Olivia began to explain to the Park, "Josie was the first person I opened my heart to after everything, and she crushed it into a million pieces."

Penelope paused, remembering Liv's face when she'd caught her and Josie kissing.

"And now she is going around, making me out to be fucking delusional for thinking that there ever was something between us." Liv admitted, tears pooling in her eyes as she became overwhelmed, "So perhaps I have a lot of hate in my heart right now, for you and for Josie." The Auclair seethed, before she used her magic to throw Penelope around the room as if she weighed nothing.

"Whatever happened between you and Josie has nothing to do with me!" Penelope squeaked, as she was finding herself unable to use her own magic, which she assumed had something to do with the red aura. Whatever power Olivia possessed was insanely strong, but also incredibly dark.

"To hurt Josie, it seems I have to hurt you. I have to break her heart like she did mine." Liv spoke, before she finally stopped flying Penelope around the room and flung her toward a set of lockers.

The Park's head hit the locker with a thud, before she laid on the floor. Penelope found herself to be quite dizzy, her head throbbing from how hard it had hit the metal lockers.

Olivia then hurled her arms, telekinetically pulling the lockers off of the wall, to drop them onto Penelope. Penelope felt fear completely fill her, as she thought in this moment that she would die, being crushed by tonnes of metal with an insane amount of force.

"Penelope!" A scream ripped through Josie's throat, as she had entered the locker rooms. Beside her, was Charlie, Aphrodite, Lizzie, Clary and Tori.

Charlie and Tori used their vampire speed to run towards the lockers and catch them, before they were to crush the Park witch.

"Somebody, sedate her!" Josie cried out, pointing to Liv. The Auclair had snapped out of her trance now, and the red magic had faded. Liv looked in shock at the scene before her.

Aphrodite and Clary approached the panicked Auclair, as Aphrodite took her hands gently.

"Mama, what's going on?" Liv asked in a panic, as Clary stood behind Olivia. "It's gonna be okay, baby. It's okay." Aphrodite said, trying to calm her daughter, although everything was not okay.

Clary and Aphrodite then said aloud a spell, to put Olivia into a deep slumber, before Aphrodite picked her daughter up.

Penelope was still frozen in shock, as she looked up at Tori and Charlie. "She was... going to kill me—" The Park managed to say, as Tori and Charlie used their strength to put the lockers back in place.

"You're gonna be okay, Pen, I swear." Charlie insisted, as he scooped the girl up into his arms. Penelope closed her eyes, before she leant her head into the crook of Charlie's neck.

Lizzie still stood in shock, beside Josie who was furious. "We have to tell Mum, now. Olivia needs to be expelled from our school! She nearly killed my girlfriend!" The panicked ravenette Saltzman said all in one breath.

Lizzie still couldn't find the words to speak, as she looked over at Aphrodite, who was holding Olivia.

What they didn't know, is that Alaric, Hope and Niko had arrived back at the school and were helping the student body search for Liv and Penelope.

Approaching the change rooms, Niko froze for a moment, as worry was evident on his face. "Is everything okay, Niko?" Hope asked, looking to the telepath with concern.

"Something terrible went down in there." Niko managed to say, as Hope and Alaric shared a panicked expression, before the trio rushed towards the change rooms.

"What is going on here?" Alaric demanded, seeing the scene before him. He looked between Aphrodite, Charlie, Clary, Josie, Tori and Lizzie for answers, but everyone seemed lost for words.

"Why are Olivia and Penelope unconscious?" Niko nervously asked, as Josie took a step forward, tears in her eyes. "Olivia tried to kill Penelope!" Alaric blinked in surprise before he asked, "Is this true?"

Clary, Charlie and Lizzie nodded wordlessly, but Aphrodite shook her head. "We don't know Liv's side of the story here—" She insisted, defending her daughter without hesitance.

"Babes, Penelope was about to be squashed under those lockers. I don't think there's any other explanation." Carice spoke.

"Tori, say something." Hope pleaded, as her sister had been awfully quiet. "It did look as though Liv was going to crush Penelope. She was kind of being a girlboss." The Mikealson shrugged as her older sister frowned.

"Okay, that's enough. Charles, take Penelope to the infirmary. We'll deal with this back at the school." Alaric decided, before everyone's feet began moving for themselves, and they left the changerooms.

━━━━━ ⋆⋅♥︎⋅⋆ ━━━━━

With the school no longer on alert, everyone began to settle down. In the infirmary, Penelope laid in a bed. Josie and Charlie sat on both sides of the bed, waiting for the Park to wake up.

Lexi watched from outside the infirmary, as the siblings sat in silence. Everyone seemed shaken by what had happened, and the heretic considered herself lucky to not have witnessed it.

"Hey sweetie, I can give you a lift home if you want." Caroline suggested, approaching her niece. Lexi looked up at the Salvatore woman before she asked, "What's going to happen to Liv?"

"I have no idea." Caroline answered honestly, "She would have caused Penelope a lot of trauma, and that won't go unpunished." She explained to the girl.

Lexi nodded, "I just don't understand how such a sweet girl could do something like that..." She admitted, wanting to believe that Olivia wasn't evil or malicious.

"Her mother was a vile bitch, who only used her magic for evil. I don't want Olivia to follow in her footsteps." Caroline said, not knowing what to do.

"I think expelling her would be the wrong thing to do." Lexi suddenly said, assuming that expulsion would be on Alaric's mind especially. "This is supposed to be her home and if you take that away... I just, don't see any good coming out of that."

Caroline nodded, not saying anything else about the matter. Lexi collected her things, ready for her Aunt to be drive her home.

"Can I ask you something else, Aunty Care?" Lexi asked, as the pair headed towards the school entrance. "Of course." Caroline responded, as Lexi seemed reluctant to ask. "Why does Nina Machado look exactly like my Mum?"

Caroline's expression softened, as truthfully seeing Nina had stumped her too... but Nina was a Machado and Elena was a Petrova.

"Nina is a doppelgänger, like Elena." The Salvatore answered, as Lexi raised an eyebrow. "So... Nina is adopted?" She asked, trying to make sense of this because she knew that all of the doppelgängers were descendants of one another.

Caroline opened her mouth to speak, to suggest that it may very well be the case that Nina was adopted. Truthfully, it was the only explanation.

But what if Nina didn't know that? Caroline couldn't risk her niece running her mouth.

"I'm not sure, Lexi." Caroline finally spoke before she asked, "Do you have all your things?" The heretic nodded in response.

"I'll meet you in the car, I'm just quickly going to check on the triplets." The Salvatore decided as Lexi nodded. "Yeah, sure. I'm gonna go say bye to Charlie." She decided.

Olivia sat slumped in a chair, across from Alaric, who seemed furious. On Liv's left, sat Aphrodite while on her right sat Myrical. Each of the pair held onto Olivia's hands, knowing that she was filled with anxiety.

"Is this really necessary?" Alaric asked, looking at Aphrodite and Myrical, who interlaced their fingers with Liv's. "Mhm." Myrical nodded, as Aphrodite replied, "It is completely necessary that we're here."

"I'm going to be honest, I was looking at expelling you." Alaric began, looking at the Auclair. "But Caroline made a valid point to me so, I won't be doing that."

The werewitch let out a sigh of relief, but remained quiet.

"So you'll be suspended, for three days." Alaric declared, as Liv accepted the punishment. "What?" Myrical blurted, while Aphrodite cleared her throat. "And where will my beloved daughter go? This is supposed to be her home."

"It is. She should have thought about that before she tried to crush Penelope with a set of lockers." Alaric said, as Aphrodite frowned. "Well, are Josie and Penelope going to be punished? They encouraged this."

"Josie and Penelope are victims in this case, Aphrodite. I don't see why they deserve to be punished." Alaric explained, as the trio remained quiet.

It was true, whilst Josie did mess with Olivia's heart and Penelope helped to taunt her, neither of them didn't anything physically to harm the Auclair.

"Where will I go?" Liv asked, as Alaric looked to her. "I've left that up to Caroline, unless you have a suggestion?" He asked. The ravenette shook her head, "The only family I have are here." She said, referring to Aphrodite and Myrical.

"Again, you should have thought about that before harming another student. Now, go get packing. You'll obviously need to take some things with you." Alaric explained, as Olivia stood up before wordlessly leaving the office.

Myrical got up to chase after the Auclair, as did Aphrodite though not before the redhead gave Alaric a nasty glare.

In the infirmary, Josie still sat by Penelope's bedside, waiting for her to wake up. She had some witchy herbs and medicine to help her pain, and now the Park was just resting.

Charlie had left to make some coffee for the trio, leaving the girlfriends alone.

At last, Penelope's eyes fluttered open, and she turned to see Josie. "Jojo?" She asked groggily, as Josie's face lit up.

"Penelope." She blurted, her eyes filled with tears. "I'm so glad you're okay." The Saltzman said, as Penelope looked around to realise that she was in the infirmary.

"How long have I been asleep?" Penelope asked, "A few hours. You got knocked around pretty bad." Josie confessed, as Penelope looked back to her. "You've been waiting this entire time?" She asked, as Josie gave a nod. "Of course." She said, taking Penelope's hand in her own.

Penelope struggled to sit up, as Josie ushered her not to. "I'm okay, I'm more comfortable." Penelope said, before she reached out and caressed the Saltzman's cheek.

"I love you." Penelope said, gazing into Josie's eyes. The witch smiled to herself before replying, "I love you too, Penny."

The pair shared a soft, loving kiss as Charlie reentered the room, holding a carry tray with three cups of coffee.

Seeing the girlfriends kiss, made the boy blink in surprise, as it was still a bit of a surprise to him. A surprise that tugged at his heartstrings, as he wished it was him kissing the Park.

"Hey Char." Penelope said, once she and Josie broke apart, though they continued to hold hands. "Hey, it's good to see that you're awake." Charlie admitted, as he put on a smile to hide that he was hurt.

The Salvatore then held up the cup tray, "I brought coffee." He announced, as the witches had a relieved expression by the sigh of fresh coffee.

Tori knocked gently on the door to Myrical's dormitory, half not expecting an answer. "Come in." A soft voice spoke in response.

Victoria pushed open the door, and closed it behind her. "Hey, how's your injuries?" The Mikealson asked, before noticing the absence of Olivia. "They're okay. Healing slowly." Myrical said, as she was still covered in cuts and scratches.

"Where's Olivia?" The hybrid asked, as she approached Myrical's bed, and took a seat on the end of it. "She's being suspended." Myrical answered sadly.

Tori nodded, remembering the events causing Olivia to get in trouble... the attack on Penelope.

The Mikealson then looked over, noticing a bruise on Myrical's collarbone, from when she'd been thrown to the ground amongst the fight.

She hadn't realised that she'd reached out to touch it with her fingertips, causing Myrical to flinch.

"Sorry it just... it hurts." The Benning admitted, as Tori looked to her. "No need to apologise." She spoke, still in her usual nonchalant tone.

"Want me to kiss it better?" Tori then asked, causing Myrical to blush at the sudden comment. "The.. bruise?" Myrical asked, a flustered mess.

Tori just gave the Benning a smirk, causing her to laugh nervously. "I mean.. okay." Myrical answered, as Tori edged closer, placing a light kiss on her collarbone, which sent a shiver down Myrical's spine.

Tori smirked, noticing Myrical's reaction before she placed another kiss on the werewitch's neck. She trailed kissed up her neck, before she reached her face.

The Mikealson hovered in front of her, as Myrical glanced down at Tori's lips for a moment before she closed the space between them and placed a kiss on her lips.

Tori kissed back, as she lifted a hand to cup Myrical's cheek, before the Benning pulled away.

"Do you want to.. stop?" Tori asked, still keeping her face close to Myrical's. The ravenette shook her head, before they continued to kiss.

Tori broke away for a moment to pull off her shirt, which made Myrical blush again. Seeing her expression, Victoria smirked before she connected their lips again, though this time the Mikealson tugged at the werewitch's shirt, wordlessly asking her to remove it.

Seeing where Tori was wanting this to go, Myrical broke away. "I'm sorry." She quickly said, "I uh... I don't want to um..."

Tori sat back, "You don't want to take things further?" She asked, curiously. Myrical shook her head, "Is that okay?" She replied, not sure what Tori's answer would be.

Myrical didn't want to disappoint Tori... but she also didn't want to do get really intimate with the hybrid and do things that she wasn't comfortable with.

"Yeah." Tori answered, as she collected her shirt off of the end of the bed, and pulled it back on.

"Wait... could you stay with me, just until I fall asleep?" The Benning asked gently, not wanting to be alone. Since Auclair Academy, she hadn't spent much time alone. She was always found with Liv, Laura or even Valerie.

Tori nodded, "Yeah... sure." She decided, moving to position herself beside Myrical. The Benning moved over so that Tori could climb under the covers and lay with her.

Myrical switched off the lamp beside her bed, before she got cosy under the covers. Tori let out a yawn, before she placed her arms around Myrical and held her in her arms.

"Alaric." Leanne's condescending and shrill voice rung, as the older Saltzman turned around in his office chair to face the blonde woman.

"Hello, Leanne." Alaric replied, "May I help you?" He asked, a bit harsh on his tone, but he didn't like the presence of the Diamond woman.

"So, as you know, I've been willing to offer large donations to the school in order to keep the doors open, as I did for my dearest Kiara Auclair." Leanne began to explain, "But Kiara offered me something to keep the donations coming, so I expect you do the same."

Alaric seemed puzzled, because it wasn't a donation if something was expected in return, but he didn't want her to stop donating. Unfortunately, Leanne Diamond's donations were currently the reason the Salvatore School had as much funding as it did.

"Name your price." Alaric decided, as Leanne tapped her nails on the top of the headmaster's desk. "Kiara promised a suitor for Rachel. A man that she could marry."

Alaric scoffed, "Marriage? Leanne, Rachel is seventeen." He admitted, as Leanne glared the Saltzman. "It is expected that the Diamond women are to be wed by their sweet sixteenth. Rachel is a late bloomer it seems."

"This is ridiculous." Alaric admitted, as Leanne shrugged. "If you can't offer my darling a suitor, you can say goodbye to my donations." The Diamond simply decided, as she stood upright and looked as though she was going to leave.

"Wait—" Alaric called out, as a smirk graced Leanne's lips, before she turned to face the headmaster with a sickly sweet smile.

"I may have a suitor for Rachel." Alaric spoke, in one breath. "You may?" Leanne asked, not seeming convinced. "I do— I do have a suitor for Rachel. They can... be wed, whenever you like."

Leanne nodded, "Okay. Great. Who is the lucky boy?" She asked, as Alaric looked to her and finally said, "My son, Lucas Saltzman."
