BROKEN HEARTS CLUB

━━━━━ ⋆⋅♥︎⋅⋆ ━━━━━

The next day had arrived, and Liv seemed annoyed and agitated. Aphrodite sat on the edge of her daughter's bed, holding out a lavender tea for the girl to drink.

"She's been stringing me along, Mama. I... I thought she liked me." Olivia stated, pacing around her dorm. "I was so stupid to think that she might like me as much as I like her." The Auclair then stated, facing the De Martel.

With Liv's overwhelming feeling of heartbreak, the floor began to rumble slightly. The lights then flickered next, causing Aphrodite to get to her feet and rush towards her daughter.

"Honey, hey— you're using your magic in anger." The heretic said, gently shaking the girl's shoulders to snap her out of her trance.

Liv's eyes snapped towards the redhead, with worry. "I need to do something, Aphie. I feel like I'm going to explode." The Auclair admitted, fear in her eyes as she glanced at her mother.

Aphrodite looked weakly at her daughter, as she wracked her brain to think of any ways to calm the werewitch, but everybody had their different ways of unwinding.

"Is everything okay?" Myrical asked, as she'd rushed into the room upon feeling the ground rumbled. Olivia's head snapped towards the Benning, as fear graced her features. "I think there's something wrong with me." She managed to say.

Myrical approached the girl, soon coming up with an idea. The ravenette took Liv's hand in her own, "I have an idea." She insisted, before looking to Aphrodite. "We'll be back soon." She assured the De Martel.

"Okay, be careful." Aphie said, taking one last look at the Auclair before Liv and Myrical rushed out of the dorm.

Moments later, Aphrodite exited the dormitory room, closing the door behind her. She wandered down the hallway, saying hello to some students, before she spotted a familiar blonde head.

"Hey Aphie!" Lizzie greeted, stepping aside to talk to the De Martel. "Hey beautiful." Aphrodite hummed, before the pair shared a kiss.

A warmth filled the girls, as they both felt ever so happy and content with eachother. Aphrodite then broke apart to admit something to the Saltzman. "I haven't told Livvy yet."

"Told her what?" Lizzie asked coyly as Aphrodite smirked, before she lifted a hand to move a strand of hair out of Lizzie's face and tucking it behind her ear.

"That we are girlfriends." The De Martel said, as Lizzie's lips curved up into a smile. She loved to hear Aphie say it.

"It's okay though, I will soon." Aphrodite added as Lizzie nodded, before she planted a kiss on the redhead's cheek. "Take your time." Lizzie assured her.

The sound of small waves crashing against the shore was enough to make Tori's eyes flutter open. She seemed confused to why she was outside, on the docks and that confusion didn't cease when she rolled over to see Carice asleep beside her.

The pair had been drunk and had sex, on the docks. With a blanket, they cuddled up and slept under the stars.

The hybrid smirked to herself, knowing how much Clary would curse herself when she'd awaken to realise that she'd slept with her nemesis.

The Bailey was on her back, soundlessly sleeping as she looked ever so peaceful. Tori leant over, and placed a kiss on her collarbone, which caused the witch to stir in her sleep.

Grinning more, Tori placed another kiss on her body, this time on her neck. Clary, still half asleep let out a small sound of approval, only amusing the Mikealson more.

The vampire placed one last kiss on her neck, as she'd been trailing kisses up to her lips. Tori then leant closer, as her lips were only centimetres away from Clary's. She debated kissing her again, but instead stopped before she spoke innocently, "Morning, Sunshine."

Recognising the girl's voice, Carice's eyes shot open. She urgently went to sit up, not meaning to ram her forehead again Tori's. "Ow." The hybrid huffed, moving away from the Bailey now.

When Clary took a look at Tori, and realised that the pair had been under a blanket and were wearing nothing, her face reddened. "Victoria?! What the fuck!" She blurted, seeming angry.

"Hey, I was also pretty surprised too when I woke up." Tori admitted, "It's not everyday you wake up next to your enemy after fucking on top of a lake."

Carice's face flushed red, as she began to recall the events of the previous night. One minute, she'd been holding Tori close as they'd been making out... and then one thing lead to another.

Clary snapped out of her thoughts, as Tori tossed the witch her dress before she picked her own dress up off of the docks and pulled it on.

"Nobody can know about this." Clary insisted, getting to her feet once she was dressed. "I didn't plan on telling anybody that I seduced and slept with my enemy." Tori responded nonchalantly.

"Okay for the record, you did not seduce me." The witch glared, as Tori laughed in response. Carice rolled her eyes, before she stated heading towards the school.

"I hate you!" Clary called out, not bothering to turn back to the Mikealson. "I hate you more." The humanity-less vampire responded, though one thing was for certain.

Between her hatred of Rachel, and her complicated feelings for Carice... it was clear that she wasn't completely without her humanity.

Amongst the thick oak trees, Myrical and Olivia walked together. It was completely quiet, other than a singular chirping bird.

"What are we doing here, Riri?" Liv asked, turning to her best friend. "I thought it was obvious." Myrical confessed, her eyes darting to the confused hybrid.

"I figured we could... wolf out. You seem restless and I thought maybe you'd feel better after shifting." The Benning insisted, "Though you won't be alone— unless you want to be."

Liv smiled at the sentiment before she shook her head, "I don't want to be alone." She quickly responded.

With that, the werewitch duo turned away from eachother, and made sure that nobody else was around before they stripped off their clothes and shifted into werewolves.

In a light gray form, stood Olivia. Her eyes were a piercing blue. Myrical stood similarly, except her fur was brown, and her eyes were bright yellow.

With that, the werewolf duo rushed around through the forest together.

In the cafeteria, Amelia sat alone eating some strawberries. In a large, sealed cup sat some blood that she was sipping on.

Josie suddenly sat across from her, with a smile. Amelia looked up, and gave the Saltzman a small smile. "Hey, pretty." The Claire-Mikealson greeted the girl.

"Hey! What are you eating?" Josie asked, before Amelia motioned to her plate. "Just some strawberries. I wasn't feeling super hungry this morning... I'm a little hungover." The heretic admitted, before she took a sip from her cup.

"Me too... I had a good night though, did you?" Josie asked, as Amelia nodded. "I didn't see you later on, where'd you go?" The heretic asked.

"I um... started partying with Penelope." Josie said happily as Amelia raised an eyebrow, "Is that some kind of metaphor?" She asked as Josie laughed in response.

"No, definitely not. We did kiss though." The witch said, as it was evident there was a sparkle in her eye. Amelia, who had been sipping on her drink, just about choked.

"Are you okay?" Josie asked, as Amelia composed herself. "You kissed Penelope?" The Claire-Mikealson asked, as Josie nodded, not understanding why Amelia was upset.

"I didn't realise you were such a player." The heretic responded bitterly, as Josie looked confused, "What are you talking about?"

"Well... for weeks you've been flirting with Olivia and... you two kissed? And then you kissed Penelope?" Amelia rambled on as Josie laughed.

"There wasn't anything going on between me and Olivia." Josie declared as Amelia scoffed, "Bullshit."

Josie frowned at the heretic, "Why are you getting so worked up about this?" She asked, before Amelia stood up, taking her cup with her.

"Because I like you, Josie. I thought that maybe you were getting over Liv and that you might like me too... but I was wrong. You play with people's emotions and... there's no way I'm becoming another girl in your little broken hearts club." Amelia decided, before she walked away from the table, leaving a completely exasperated Josie.

Nearby, Hope sat with Landon, Rafael, Laura and Niko. "Okay.. what is Valerie thinking?" Rafael asked Niko, as the boy looked over at the Harlowe, who was sitting with Glen, Jed and a couple other wolf students.

"They're thinking about how much responsibility they've gonna have as alpha... and how to cheer up Jed because he's annoyed that he isn't alpha anymore." Niko answered, as Rafael and Landon both laughed a little.

"Poor Jed." Hope giggled, before she looked over at Laura. "You haven't touched your food." The Mikealson noticed. "Oh.. I'm not very hungry. Me and Niko kind of got into Aphrodite's snacks while we were drunk and I think I ate way too many." She admitted awkwardly.

"Mistakes were made... for you at least." Niko admitted, before he noticed Amelia approaching the table. Truthfully, he could sense her mood before he saw her, and he could tell that the heretic was upset.

"Mia, hey." Hope greeted her cousin, before Amelia sat down. "Are you okay?" Niko asked, instantaneously. Amelia looked a little surprised that he could tell she was upset before she remembered that he is psychic.

"I got my hopes up with Josie. But it's... whatever." Amelia answered, before she thought of her former best friend Olivia. She wondered how the werewitch was going, as she noticed that Liv was really into the Saltzman.

"Josie and Penelope always seem to gravitate back to eachother... Ever since Charlie went to Auclair, Penelope became really close with Jo." Hope admitted, remembering how much more tolerable Penelope was before she dated Josie and began picking on Lizzie and her mental health.

"Hey... where's my sister?" Hope then asked Amelia, as usually Tori was with one of the Mikealson girls.

As if on cue, a blur appeared by the table, as a tray slammed down on it. "Hey, have you guys seen Lucas and Beau?" The voice asked, belonging to Tori.

"That timing was... really weird." Landon admitted, as Rafael just stared at the hybrid girl in surprise.

"I have no idea.. I haven't seen them." Hope first answered as everyone else at the table answered similarly. "Huh... I had something interesting to tell them. Maybe later." Tori decided, sitting down to eat.

Laura looked to Niko, whose eyes widened in surprise as he read Tori's mind, learning the news that she was wanting to eagerly tell her best friends.

After racing through the forest as two free wolves, Olivia and Myrical found themselves now dressed and seated together within the forest.

Liv felt so much better, forgetting completely about Josie and Penelope, as she listened to the soft chitters coming from the wildlife within the forest.

"How are you feeling?" Myrical's soft voice spoke, as the werewitch was braiding her hair now, to keep it out of her face. "I feel a lot more relaxed... thank you, Ri." Liv smiled to her best friend, for helping her to calm down.

"You're welcome, Livvy." Myrical hummed, visibly finding peace in the forest. Of course, the Benning had spent a decent amount of her life living in the forest in Mystic Falls... it was technically her home. Though she resided at the Salvatore school, she would always find her way back to the wilderness.

"Hey.. random question..." Liv spoke up, as Myrical turned to her. "Do you feel more in tune with your wolf side, or your witch side?" The Auclair asked.

Myrical finished braiding her hair, as she tied it off. "I feel more in tune with my wolf side." She confessed, as she smiled. "I mean.. I love using magic and learning spells... but I started turning into a wolf when I was ten." The Benning insisted.

Olivia nodded, remembering Myrical's life story, as she was one of the very few who knew about it.

"For me... I started using magic before I activated my werewolf curse." Liv explained, as she hadn't really spoken about how she'd activated her curse.

"But... I don't really feel in tune with either... after the incident where everybody started to fear me, I tried not to use any of my powers." The Auclair explained, "But now it means I struggle to control them."

Myrical frowned, before she placed her hand over Liv's. "That's not healthy, Liv. You can't let your powers control you." She said to the taller girl.

"But... I don't want to hurt anybody... and I don't want anybody to be scared of me." Liv insisted, remembering the faces of the students at Auclair academy, when she'd finally snapped.

"You have a big heart, Livvy. You wouldn't hurt anybody... you care too much." Myrical responded, giving Liv's hand a gentle to squeeze.

"I promise you, that by understanding and embracing your powers... you won't become a monster." Myrical reassured her, as Olivia smiled her best friend.

Whether Liv would believe those words, were uncertain... but she needed to hear them.

Liv then scooted closer to Myrical, and leant her head on the smaller girl's shoulder. Myrical relaxed to the touch, only really allowing Liv to be affectionate towards her.

"I love you, Ri." Liv said, as she closed her eyes and continued to listen to the peaceful surroundings. "I love you too, Liv." Myrical responded, leaning her head against Olivia's.

Busily in the library, Aphrodite sat atop a table, holding a large book in her hands. Her eyes scanned across the page quickly, as she was indulged in it.

Lucas and Beau walked past, though Lucas stopped when he noticed the girl looking through a book with an expression of urgency gracing her features.

"Hey Dite." Beaumont spoke up, causing Aphrodite to look up. "Heya." She offered the pair a smile, before she went back to reading.

"What... are you doing?" Lucas asked, as Aphrodite looked up again. Sensing that the boys were going to sit down at the table, she got off of the table and instead sat into a seat. With that, the siphon boys sat across from her.

"I'm trying to learn more about the Auclair bloodline... particularly their magic." Aphrodite said, as Beau raised an eyebrow. "Aren't you like, really old? Surely you've met another Auclair." He stated.

"Dude." Lucas tried to hold back a laugh, before he looked to Aphrodite, who was lost in thought. "I did know an Auclair, back in the 1860's." She admitted.

"We were... in love." Aphrodite added, as Beau and Lucas shared a shocked expression. "But.. I never learn a lot about the magic of this Auclair ancestor." She explained to them.

Beau had a smirk on his face, "You were probably too busy studying other things about the girl." He spoke suggestively, causing Aphrodite to smirk slightly. "I will neither confirm or deny that claim." The De Martel declared, before Beau let out an approving chuckle and highfived Aphie.

"You guys are weird." Lucas admitted, as Beau was about to make a statement about the Saltzman being a total virgin, but Aphrodite must have noticed because she quickly brought the conversation back to the Auclair bloodline.

"Olivia stopped embracing her witch and wolf sides, after what happened at Auclair." Aphie began to explain before Beau asked, "Before she went a bit crazy?"

"Beau." Lucas huffed, "We don't know the circumstances... or what was even going on in Liv's life. I mean, most of us only realised just how manipulative Kiara was after we moved to this school." The Saltzman added, as Beau fell silent, realising that Lucas was right.

"If anybody was crazy, it was definitely Kiara." Aphrodite insisted, eyeing Beau for suggesting that her adoptive daughter was possibly crazy. "But.. I want to learn more about the magic Auclair bloodline use, to see if I can help Olivia to control her own."

The duo fell quiet, as Aphrodite went back to reading. Beau glanced at all of the books she had piled onto the table before he asked, "Do you want us to help?"

The De Martel looked at the siphon witches curiously. "You have a lot to read through... it might make it faster if we read some of the books too." Lucas then suggested.

Aphie nodded, before she slid a book to each of the boys. "That would actually help a lot... thank you." She said. With that, Lucas and Beau each took a book from the redhead, and began to read.

The last thing Charlie had expected, was to be dragged outside by Lizzie. The Salvatore had been relatively keeping to himself, not really wanting to engage in conversation with anybody as he felt quite down about finding Penelope and Josie kissing.

He wasn't sure what he was more upset about... the fact that he knew Penelope was into Josie yet he still continued to hope that something may might happen between him and the Park, or the fact that he and Josie had a deep and meaningful conversation about love and he confided in her about his feelings for Penelope... and nevertheless she'd still gone after the witch.

Niko was the first to realise that Charlie was upset, other than Liv. Obviously not only did they share a dorm, but the Shiratori could read people's thoughts.

Still getting used to sharing a dorm with the boy, Niko didn't want to overstep and ask about it, so instead he gave the vampire some space.

"Lizzie... why are you taking me outside?" Charlie asked, as Lizzie shrugged. "I find whenever I'm in a bad mood, just being outside in the sun can help me to feel better—"

"I'm a vampire. I don't feel the sun."

Lizzie frowned at her brother, before she lifted a container filled with cookies. "I also made you these." She said sweetly, as the Salvatore's face lit up. "They look amazing!" He blurted with excitement.

Lizzie laughed, before the pair sat down in the garden, on a large stone. The Saltzman then opened the container and the pair began snacking on the cookies together while they talked about feelings.

"You know... I'm not even bothered anymore that things didn't work out with Rafael." Lizzie confessed to Charlie, "He didn't make me feel the way Aphie does."

"Which is?" Charlie asked curiously, as Lizzie shrugged. "Happy, safe... loved." The blonde shrugged, "I had to try so hard to get Rafael's attention and.. I don't have to with Aphie, I can be myself and she's continuously interested in me?"

Lizzie paused, realising that she'd been rambling a lot, but Charlie thought it was sweet. The Gemini twin hadn't really been interested in somebody like she had been with Aphrodite... and it made him happy to see Lizzie so happy.

Charlie ate another cookie, as he felt a bit better. He'd forgotten about Josie and Penelope, and was instead divulging in sweets and talking to his sister about girls.

Charlie then looked over Lizzie's shoulder, noticing that a stone statue that lived in the garden, had moved closer to them.

"Uh... Lizzie."

"Mhm?"

The vampire didn't know how to explain what was going on, and just pointed to the statue. "It's.. a statue?" Lizzie asked, unsure what the Salvatore was trying to tell her.

"It moved!" Charlie squeaked out, as Lizzie frowned. "Let me guess... it's right behind me?" She asked sarcastically, before she turned around to prove herself right, only to be shocked to find that the gargoyle has disappeared entirely.

"Okay.. what the fuck." The Saltzman admitted, as Charlie frowned at the statue's sudden disappearance.

The vampire then looked around, and was startled to find that the statue was now standing behind him. Suddenly, the gargoyle's eyes opened to reveal glowing red irises as it bared its teeth at him.

"What the hell!" Charlie blurted, as Lizzie's eyes widened in panic now, horrified to find the gargoyle taking large steps towards them with its sword pointed in their direction.

"We need to run." Lizzie quickly said, as Charlie reached out and took hold of the girl before he vampire sped them to the entrance of the school.

The gargoyle chased them, causing the siblings to grow scared. "Are we really gonna be fighting a.. statue?" Lizzie asked nervously before she looked to Charlie. "I need you to give me your hand."

Charlie nodded and held out his hand. Lizzie took it and siphoned from him, causing the Salvatore to flinch in slight pain. The duo watched as the gargoyle came closer, before Lizzie called out, "Imperium monstrum!"

To Charlie's surprise, the gargoyle still lunged towards Lizzie and cut her, with its clawed hand. "Aah!" She screamed out in pain. "Lizzie!" Charlie called out, before he glared at the gargoyle.

"Don't touch her!" Charlie yelled angrily, before he used his vampire powers to race over and strike the gargoyle.

Once the statue toppled over, Charlie zoomed back to Lizzie, finding her unconscious on the ground. "Shit— Lizzie!! Hey, open your eyes!" The boy pleaded, before he scooped her into his arms and went to find help.
