BLACK OUT DAYS

━━━━━ ⋆⋅♥︎⋅⋆ ━━━━━

With the Founder's party coming to an end, the Salvatore and Auclair students decided to have an after party, at the Old Mill.

Jed, Rafael, Val and Beau dragged some kegs of beer along, while other students prepared the music and fairy lights. Once some tunes were pumping, the party began.

Tori, now wearing a glittery, tight dress and some heels, an outfit you'd expect to see worn at a nightclub, approached a keg of beer. She got herself a cup of beer, and sculled it, while cringing at the taste.

"It's just an after party... you didn't have to dress up." Clary's voice rung, as Tori's eyes averted to the Bailey girl. She looked the ravenette up and down, before smirking slightly. "You're one to talk." She responded, as Carice was wearing a similar outfit.

"I don't need competition." Carice shrugged, as Tori motioned to Rachel. "Say that to her." The Mikealson suggested, as the Diamond was wearing a pale pink tight dress and a long pink feather scarf as well as black heels.

"Oh... I'm gonna put her in her place." Carice decided, a smug smile on her own lips, before the two enemies looked to Rachel.

"Revenge?" Tori asked, as Clary nodded. "Do you... want a helping hand?" The Mikealson asked, as the witch looked to her with surprise. "What's the catch?" The Bailey asked.

"No catch." Tori insisted, shaking her head. "I just hate Rachel Diamond."

━━━━━ ⋆⋅♥︎⋅⋆ ━━━━━

By the bonfire, Luca and Beau sat together, sipping on cups of beer. "I don't think the founder's party was really my thing." Lucas stated, before Beau looked to him. "I love a night out, but that was a bit too formal for my taste." The Lazuli stated.

Meanwhile, Val and Glen stood by Jed and Rafael, as the wolves were drinking and bonding. They noticed MG and Landon awkwardly standing together, looking towards the bonfire where Luca and Beau sat.

Valerie looked to Glen, before the pair walked over to the two socially awkward boys. "Hey, what are you two waiting for?" Valerie hummed, as MG and Landon jumped, before they turned to the best friends.

"Are you watching over those witches?" Glen asked, teasingly. "Maybe." Landon blurted, before MG side eyed him. "Okay... yes, but not in a creepy way... just in a we-wanna-make-a-move-but-don't-know-how kinda way." The vampire responded.

Valerie took once glance at the siphon witch duo, before they looked back at Landon and MG. "Lucas is already making wedding scenarios in his head with Landon and Beau is probably already having wet dreams about MG." The Harlowe stated, causing both boys to blush horrendously.

Glen let out a chuckle, finding their reactions priceless. "What?" Landon managed go say, with a red face. "We were at Auclair together, it was a small school and everyone got to know eachother." Valerie shrugged.

"Okay... so we make our move." MG said to Landon, before the pair both started walking towards their crushes.

"Wait— not at the same time." Glen huffed, ushering them back. "That'll look weirdly suspicious... one of you go over first and then the other waits a couple of minutes before going over." The Forde insisted, before Landon and MG looked at eachother.

"You go first... because otherwise you'll talk yourself out of it." MG said to Landon. The Kirby laughed, but he couldn't deny it. "Okay." He said, composing himself before he walked over to Lucas.

"Don't chicken out." Valerie said to MG before they and Glen headed back to Jed and Rafael, being proud of their cupid skills.

Minutes later, MG was seen beside Beau, the vampire giving the Lazuli his jacket, as he was cold. Landon and Luca were cuddled together, enjoying eachother's company.

Olivia stood with Aphrodite, Myrical and Laura, as she nervously looked around. She needed a drink.

"Aphie!" A buzzed Lizzie hiccuped, as she approached the group. Aphrodite was a little tipsy too, and her entire face lit up upon seeing Lizzie.

"Hey blondie!" The redhead teased, before Lizzie reached out and took Aphrodite's hand. "I wanna show you something." The Saltzman insisted, before she looked to Liv, Myrical and Laura. "Can I steal your Mum-Friend for a moment?" She asked.

Liv giggled before she nodded, "Go right ahead." She replied, before Lizzie and Aphrodite left, hand in hand.

"They're so going to date." Laura noted, before Myrical laughed, "Yeah no shit. They'd be cute together." She responded to the vampire. Liv laughed along too, agreeing with them.

"Hey.. I'm gonna get a drink. Want anything?" Liv asked Myrical and Laura. The Shiratori wasn't very comfortable around Liv, fearing her a little so she simply shook her head.

"No thanks Livvy." Myrical responded softly, as Liv smiled at her best friend before she walked away, to get herself a beer.

What the werewitch didn't expect, was to find a line of people waiting to get beer. The Auclair sighed, waiting in the back of it.

"Hey Olive!" An annoyingly familiar voice rung. The ravenette turned around, to see Blonde Bombshell Rachel approaching her, two red cups in her hand.

"Beer?" The Diamond asked, offering out a cup. Olivia paused, looking at the vampire blankly, as she'd never been nice to her before. "Would you rather wait in such a line?" Rachel asked, as Liv took a look at the line before she decided to take the offer.

"Cheers." The Diamond grinned, clinking the plastic cup against the one Olivia had just taken. "Cheers." Liv awkwardly smiled, before she took a sip from the cup.

After spending some time with Hope and Tori, Amelia decided to walk over and talk to Josie, leaving the sisters alone. Tension filled the air, as Tori and Hope were on awkward terms.

Hope glanced at her younger sister, who was sipping some cheap moscato she'd bought from in town... except she wasn't of legal age nor did she pay for it... she just compelled the bottleshop worker to give it to her.

"How is that?" Hope asked, as she'd never really been interested in wine. Tori offered the bottle out towards her, "Try it." She shrugged.

Hope gently took the bottle from Tori's hand before she took a swig. She scrunched up her face in disgust at first taste, but she doesn't mind the taste as it sits in her mouth for a moment.

"It's.. okay." She finally decided, before handing Tori back the bottle of sweet wine.

"So... you and Landon aren't together anymore, I take it." Victoria said, as she glanced over at Luca and Landon, seeing the pair still awfully close to one another.

"Yeah.. we were together for a few months but it kind of... fizzled out." Hope said, looking over at Landon. "He was a good boyfriend, but we both sort of lost interest. And Landon wanted to explore his sexuality more."

"He has." Tori stated, giving Lucas a slight smirk. The Saltzman caught her look and blushed, before he glanced away. Tori simply laughed to herself.

"What about you, do you have anyone?" Hope asked, as the sisters hadn't really talked much. Truthfully, they drifted apart a lot when Hope found out Tori turned off her humanity.

"Nope." Tori answered, popping the "P" as she spoke. "What happened to Glen?" The older Mikealson asked, as Tori looked to Hope.

"Lost interest. That's what happens when you turn it off." Tori stated, as Hope looked sadly at her sister. "I should have been there for you after they died." Hope said, in almost a whisper.

Of course she was referring to Hayley and Klaus. Whilst Hayley was the blonde's stepmum, they were close. And whilst Victoria was like a mini version of her mother Camille, she and her father had been inseparable.

When they died, Hope kept to herself and shut Tori out. Where Hope was absent, Amelia had stepped up and became the sister Tori needed.

Speaking of, Victoria's eyes landed on the Claire-Mikealson. The brunette was talking to Josie, as they were both drinking beer.

The O'Connell-Mikealson couldn't keep up with the love triangle... moreso square. Josie was interested in Olivia, and Liv seemed infatuated with the Saltzman. But it was also evident that Amelia had a crush on Josie. Not to mention, there was this tension between Penelope and Josie, though that in itself was complicated.

"I think Amelia has a crush." Tori said, changing the topic of conversation away from Hayley and Klaus. Hope glanced up, looking at Amelia and Josie.

The heretic was standing tall and confident while she spoke to the Saltzman, but she was also twirling a strand of hair around her finger as a sign of nervousness.

"I get the feeling that Josie is going to break someone's heart." Hope stated, about her acquaintance. "Whether it's Mia's, Olivia's or Penelope's."

"Penelope.. has a heart?" Tori asked, with a laugh. Hope stifled a giggle, "Honestly, I'm not even sure." She added.

The sisters stopped laughing, and turned around now as a fight broke out between Rafael and Jed. "Oh boy." Hope sighed, watching the werewolves argue.

Laura, who stood with Myrical and Niko, asked "Neeks, can you read their minds?" The vampire asked, curious about why they were fighting. Myrical looked up at Niko now, with a look of curiosity.

Niko tried to concentrate, but then frowned. "Uh... Not really, the testosterone is killing me." He huffed, after reading their thoughts. This caused Laura and Myrical to laugh.

"Hey! Cut it out!" Glen grumbled, trying to get between Rafael and Jed. He ended up getting violently shoved aside, which angered Valerie.

"Hey! Stop fucking fighting!" The Harlowe snapped, before they tore Rafael away from Jed. Surprised by their anger, Rafael took a look at the purple haired werewolf.

Jed then took a step back, trying to compose himself but after the boys took one look at eachother, they started breaking out into a fight again.

Valerie got in the way again, shoving Jed off his feet, before doing the same to Rafael. Suddenly, Tori and Hope got to their feet. They shared a glance before Tori called out. "All hail the king!"

Valerie looked confusedly at Hope, "What is she talking about?" She asked, before the Mikealson answered. "It looks like you just became the new alpha."

━━━━━ ⋆⋅♥︎⋅⋆ ━━━━━

"Okay, we're here." Lizzie said, as herself and Aphrodite had been scrambling through the darkness. "Lizzie... I can't see anything." The De Martel admitted.

"Can I siphon you?" Lizzie asked, as Aphrodite hummed a yes. With that, Lizzie gently took Aphrodite's hand and siphoned from her, as their hands glowed red.

Once Lizzie had siphoned magic, she mumbled a spell under her breath, which caused all of these fairy lights hang in the trees to brightly glow. Wildflowers that were growing amongst the grass, blossomed in the dim lights.

Aphrodite looked around in amazement, as fireflies also fluttered out of their hiding places, adding more of a glow to the atmosphere.

Lizzie smiled at the redhead, seeing her expression, before she looked down and realised that she still had Aphrodite's hand in hers, though she was no longer siphoning from her.

"Some nights, I grab a blanket and sit here. It's a place where I like to unwind when everything gets too much." Lizzie explained, "It's quite comforting sitting under the lights." The blonde added.

"It's beautiful." Aphrodite admitted, before looking back to Lizzie. "You're beautiful." She added, causing Lizzie to smile brightly.

The Saltzman then placed her hand gently under Aphrodite's chin, as she lifted her head to face her. "That was corny... but I think that you're beautiful too." Lizzie said, looking like a total dork... a total dork that Miss De Martel was totally falling for.

Aphrodite smiled upon seeing Lizzie being goofy, before she leant forward and gently kissed the siphon witch. Lizzie seemed stunned, but soon closed her eyes and kissed the redhead back.

As the pair kissed, the lights shining above them burst into sparks, causing the girls to jolt apart in shock. "Does that always happen when you kiss a girl?" Aphie asked, in shock.

Lizzie laughed nervously, "I don't know... you're the first girl I've ever kissed." She admitted, causing Aphrodite to chuckle, before the pair found themselves locking lips again.

Aphrodite took Lizzie's hands in her own, squeezing them gently before Lizzie broke away from the De Martel. "Actually that's a lie... I did kiss Hope once when playing truth or dare... but that was so long ago and I didn't cause any sparks to fly—"

"Shut up and kiss me." Aphrodite giggled in response, though she did find Lizzie's rambling to be adorable.

Liv had never felt so sick in her life. The girl sat in a fetal position, at the foot of a large tree. She couldn't move the lower half of her body, and occasionally vomited next to her.

It was then she realised that Rachel had drugged her, causing her to feel groggy, nauseous and partially paralysed. She groaned, as she laid her head against the bark of the tree, wishing she hadn't come to the party.

"Olivia?" A confused voice rung, as Charlie approached her. "Charlie?" Liv asked groggily, her eyes fluttering open as she could vaguely see the Salvatore, even though he was standing right in front of her.

"What happened?" Charlie asked, noticing the state the Auclair was in. "Stupid Rachel drugged me." Olivia mumbled, "Though I'm stupid for taking a drink from her."

"That's horrible.. you look terrible." Charles stated, before he bent down. "Do you mind if I pick you up? I could take you to your dorm." The vampire suggested, worried of what could happen to the girl if she was left here.

It was clear that Rachel had meant to hurt Liv, what's to say she didn't come back to harrass or torture her while she was drugged.

"Please... please take me to my dorm." Liv pleaded, as Charlie nodded. Carefully, the boy picked her up, and held her in his arms.

"Let's get you to bed." The Salvatore decided, as he carefully walked Olivia towards the dorms, deciding not to use his vampire speed as it would probably make the werewitch projectile vomit.

━━━━━ ⋆⋅♥︎⋅⋆ ━━━━━

"Where are you going?" Amelia questioned Tori, as she saw a devilish look in the hybrid's eyes. "My dear cousin, I'm going to help Clary get revenge on the homophobic and annoying Vampire Barbie." Tori announced, before she harshly kissed Amelia on the forehead.

Surprised by her behaviour, Amelia raised an eyebrow. "Since when are you and Carice friends?" She questioned, as the pair had been at eachother's throats since the beginning of time.

"Since Rachel decided to call her a homophobic slur in front of everybody— I mean that doesn't make Carice and I friends at all, but we share a hatred for the Diamond." Victoria explained to the brunette.

Amelia nodded, her lips curving into a small smile as this shared hatred seemed to make Tori's humanity flicker.

"What happened to Josie? I expected to find you guys tongue chumming eachother." The blonde added as Amelia scoffed. "Gross." She responded, "And... I actually have no idea. She went off after Penelope." The Claire-Mikealson said.

"Oh god... promise me that you're not going to lose your girl to Satan." Tori replied, as Amelia rolled her eyes at her cousin's antics. "She's hardly my girl... not with Liv and Penelope in the picture."

"Hmm... time will tell." Tori admitted, encouragingly. Amelia just gave an amused smile before Rachel caught Tori's eyes. "I gotta go, see you later Mia." The O'Connell-Mikealson said before she made a beeline for the queen of mean.

Moments later, Tori and Rachel were by the docks, Rachel growing frustrated with Tori. "What do you want, psycho one?" The Diamond demanded.

"Carice hates you, which automatically means that I hate you. It's girl code." Rachel stated as Tori then snickered. "What is so funny?" The blonde demanded.

"You didn't give a shit about girl code when you embarrassed your girl in front of everyone." Tori reminded her, as Rachel rolled her eyes.

"She forgives me." Rachel shrugged, before Carice's voice piped up. "Actually, I don't. Not to mention you never actually apologised."

Rachel turned around, as Carice stepped onto the docks. "Clary." Rachel greeted, in a tone of faux kindness, but she looked as though she was a deer in headlights as she'd been caught lying.

Clary stepped beside Tori now, as Rachel faced the pair. She felt intimidated by them... two enemies standing side by side.

"You made fun of me in front of everyone, for having a crush on a girl." Clary said, as herself and Tori took a step forward. With that, Rachel took a step back.

"You belittled me and didn't even try to apologise— you even assumed I'd forgive you." Carice added, as the enemy duo took yet another step forward. Rachel again, stepped backwards.

"You're a horrible friend, Rachel. And a horrible fucking person." Clary yelled, "You sure as hell don't deserve your title as queen bee."

With the witch and hybrid taking another step forward, Rachel stepped back again, but this time there was nothing there to stand on, causing her to fall into the lake.

"Ahh!" She gasped, before she fell into the water. This alone caused Clary to laugh, before Rachel began to scream.

Her skin burned in agony, as Tori now laughed. "Tori... what did you do?" The Bailey asked. "I put a bucket of vervain in the lake." Tori shrugged, a menacing look gracing her features.

Eventually, the Diamond got out of the lake, and sped away from the duo who were laughing at her.

━━━━━ ⋆⋅♥︎⋅⋆ ━━━━━

Heading into the school, Charlie carefully opened the door, shifting Liv's weight onto his other arm. Once inside, he headed through the kitchen.

"We're nearly there. How are you feeling?" Charlie asked as Liv mumbled in response, "I feel like shit."

"You'll be in bed before you know it." The Salvatore reassured her, as he turned a corner to exit the kitchen.

What he didn't expect to find, was Penelope and Josie locking lips. The Saltzman cupped Penelope's cheeks, as Penelope's hands gripped Josie's waist. Charlie quickly stopped walking, as Liv groggily lifted her head, to see the scene before them.

The ex girlfriends shared a passionate kiss, though they broke apart to the sound of a gasp that left Charlie's lips. "Josie..." Liv mumbled, wishing that her mind had been playing tricks on her, and that the girl she'd been falling for wasn't in the arms of her ex girlfriend.

Despite no longer kissing, Josie remained in Penelope's arms. A look of surprise filled both of the witch's faces, as they didn't know what to say to Charlie or Liv, the Auclair students they'd had seemed interest in.

"What the hell, Jo." Liv managed to say, sounding upset, but still being in such an awful state that she couldn't get to her feet and properly confront the girl.

"Charlie.." Josie managed to say, more worried that she'd been caught kissing the girl her brother was in love with, than being caught by the girl she was technically seeing.

Charlie didn't say anything, as he tried to compose himself and remove the look of betrayal on his face. Wordlessly, he left the duo, taking Olivia to her dorm.

The Salvatore stayed silent, feeling an ache in his chest. He'd been in love with Penelope for so long, and despite everything Josie kept going for her. It hurt, from both of them.

Olivia was teary eyed, as she'd really, really liked Josie. In such a short time, the Auclair felt close to the siphon... they seemed to of had a bond, and Liv even opened up more around her. Now she felt stupid for it, as she'd just seen her back with her ex girlfriend.

Several moments later, Charlie placed Liv on her bed. The girl thanked him, before she glanced at the photo beside her bed, of her and Josie. Aphrodite had taken it, having a proud Mum moment™️.

Charlie sat on the edge of her bed, processing what they'd just seen in the hallway. "It's always going to be Josie..." He sighed to himself.

Liv looked at the photoframe before her eyes sadly averted away. "Is there something wrong with me?" She managed to ask as her voice cracked with sadness, catching Charlie's attention.

"People at Auclair always said I'm incapable of love and being loved..." Liv began, her blue eyes glistening with tears. "And then I met Josie... and she made me feel happy... and I thought that maybe I am capable of love after all." The Auclair said, before she fell silent, indicating that she believed she didn't deserve love after all and that she shouldn't of had hope.

"Who said such horrible things?" Charlie asked, shaking his head in disgust. "They're wrong Liv, you are capable of being loved. I mean... look at Aphrodite and Myrical, they really love you." He admitted, as he'd always noticed how close they were with Liv. It reminded him of his relationship with Lizzie and Lucas.

"For me... I'm not sure what hurts more... seeing the girl I really like with somebody else, or seeing my sister going after my long time crush despite knowing how I feel." Charlie admitted, as Liv looked at him sadly.

"I forget that Josie is technically your sister... it must really hurt seeing her go behind your back like that." She admitted, wishing she could do more to comfort the boy, but in her paralysed state she could not.

"It definitely does." The Salvatore admitted, before the door opened to the dorm, catching their attention.

Myrical stood in the doorway, as she'd received a text from Charlie about Liv. Aphrodite had received one too, but the heretic forgot to take her phone with her to the party.

"Livvy, are you okay?" Myrical asked, quickly closing the door behind her. "Hey Riri." Liv gave her a small smile, though she was still hardly able to move.

"Rachel slipped something in her drink." Charlie explained, causing the ravenette girl to frown. "That bitch!" Myrical seethed, having a great hatred towards the blonde.

"Thanks for bringing her back here." Myrical said to Charlie, who gave a humble nod in response. "I hope you feel better soon, Liv." The Salvatore said to the werewitch, before he left the dorm.

Myrical moved to sit on her bed, "Can I get you anything? Some water maybe?" The Benning asked, as Liv tried to shake her head. "I'm okay. Thank you, Riri." The Auclair answered, "How was your night?" She then asked.

"It was so fun! I hung out with Laura and Niko... Niko was reading peoples minds and it was really funny!" The werewitch giggled, "You know.. I think I'm starting to like this school. It's a bit overwhelming with all of the students here but... I feel like us Auclair students have kind of gotten closer since being here." She admitted, with a small smile.

Something about being in a new environment, made the Auclair students closer in ways. Myrical had always been close with Liv, but she'd definitely become closer with Laura lately and Niko too.

Similarly, Tori, Beau and Lucas had been a lot closer since being at the Salvatore school. They were known as the chaotic trio, that no one really wanted to mess with.

Likewise, some duos had become closer, like Valerie and Glen, Amelia and Aphrodite, Charlie and Lucas.

Myrical, still a little smiley, then turned to her sister figure. "How's your night been, Liv?" She asked softly. "Other than Rachel's bitchy antics of course."

Liv looked to her, noticing her happy demeanour. She decided not to tell her that she'd seen her crush tonguing Penelope Park, and that she was now quite heartbroken. At least, not tonight while Myrical was in such a good mood.

"My night was fine." Olivia answered, giving the Benning a forced smile, though really she wanted to cry... and she definitely needed a hug.

━━━━━ ⋆⋅♥︎⋅⋆ ━━━━━

Tori and Clary were still by the docks, drinking and laughing together. If anybody saw them, they'd truly think the pair were friends.

"I have to admit.. Though it looked painful, I'm glad she fell into the lake— though now you gotta make sure no other vampires fall into it." Clary laughed as Tori agreed. "That is true.. I should probably let them all know." The hybrid shrugged.

"Man... I'm glad I put Rachel in her place, but I don't even know why I was so worked up about her comment... I mean, I don't even like girls." Carice admitted, as Tori raised an eyebrow.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" The witch asked as Tori shrugged. "You've always seemed pretty fruity to me." She admitted, causing Carice to laugh, as she flipped her hair over her shoulder.

"Nope, I'm definitely team boys." The brunette declared. Tori took a swig of her beer before she asked, "So I could like... flash you my boobs and you wouldn't feel anything?"

"What.. I mean, I'd feel surprised?" Clary answered, with a nervous laugh. Tori then started laughing, at her own drunk analogy.

As they drunkly giggled, neither girls realised how much closer they'd leaned to eachother. Tori then faced Clary, noticing their closeness.

"So you're saying... I could do this, and you wouldn't feel anything?" Tori asked, before she glanced down at Carice's lips. The hybrid then leant forward, placing a chaste kiss on the witch's lips.

Victoria then pulled away, as Carice seemed stunned for a moment. "I mean... you have to do it again, because... I'm not sure." The witch spoke coyly.

Tori laughed, before the pair both moved their heads closer to one another, as they shared a kiss. At first it was a soft, gentle kiss. They broke apart, though they kept their eyes closed, and they foreheads pressed together.

Carice then initiated another kiss, though this time it was more passionate. Tori leant closer, placing her hand behind Clary's head.

The enemies, seeming to forget they once hated eachother as they continued to lock lips, began to make out passionately. Clary put her hands around Tori's waist, and pulled the girl onto her lap. Victoria ran her fingers through Carice's brown locks, as it seemed as though her humanity was flickering once again.

There's a fine line between love and hate, and it seemed as though Tori Mikealson and Clary Bailey were dancing around that line.

AUTHORS NOTE

Man Act 1 is pretty chill, kind of full of teenage drama while Act 2 is gonna be so angsty and full of death and stuff... I actually can't wait 😈

I apologise for the wait! I have a lengthier chapter to make up for it! 💖

My question for this chapter:
Out of all of the characters in the cast that haven't been properly introduced into the story yet, who are you most excited to see?
