WE HAVE HISTORY TOGETHER

━━━━━ ⋆⋅♥︎⋅⋆ ━━━━━

Carice stood in the kitchen, with an angry look on her face. She clenched her fists, ready to wave them and let loose by throwing kitchenware everywhere.

"Clary." Olivia's soft voice piped up, as the brunette spun around, her teary eyes landing on Liv. "Are you okay?" The Auclair asked.

Clary shook her head in frustration, "No! I told everyone that I'm not straight!" She huffed, seeming angry with herself.

Liv took a few steps towards that, "You know, there is nothing wrong with not being straight." Olivia admitted, hoping not to dwell on what happened in the common room, though it was absolutely wrong what Rachel said and did.

"There isn't, but I should be straight. I don't want to like women the way I like men." Clary huffed, her eyes moving away from Liv's. "I didn't want to have feelings for you." She said, her voice shaky.

It then all made sense, why the pair of childhood friends had drifted apart. Carice had developed feelings for Liv, and was in denial about her sexuality, so she became friends with Rachel of all people and kept her distance from Liv. Little did she know, she'd completely change who she was.

Olivia didn't know what to say, but went to hug Carice, not before knowing that it was okay to of course. Clary noticed the Auclair's open arms and hugged her, as she let her tears fall.

Back in the common room, chaos was still unveiling. "Okay but important question, Marvel or DC?" MG asked, as this was definitely a make or break kind of question for him.

"Marvel, duh." Aphrodite was the first to answer, as it was something that she and Liv had first bonded over when they became close. Liv wasn't aware, but when Aphrodite found out Olivia was a marvel nerd, she went and watched a heap of movies just so they'd have something in common to talk about.

"Agreed." Laura admitted, as Valerie, Myrical, Beau, Amelia, Charles, Josie and Hope agreed.

"Nah, DC is heaps cooler." Niko admitted chipperly, as Lizzie, Tori, Kaleb, Penelope and of course MG agreed.

"I mean... I guess Marvel." Glen shrugged, not really having a preference.

"Poison Ivy is hot. DC all the way." Tori declared, as a few chuckles were heard. "There's cute girls in Marvel too... remember when we watched Hawkeye?" Amelia asked her cousin, who smirked. "Oh true, Kate Bishop in a suit—" She blurted, with a dreamy look.

"Okay cool, you DC nerds are my new best friends." MG huffed dramatically, as Niko let out a chuckle.

"Anyone got anything they're afraid to admit?" Penelope asked, before Rachel admitted under her breath, "Um yeah, Carice is queer—"

Laura had heard this, and gave Rachel a glare. She despised her attitude.

"I um.... Don't know how to swim." Niko confessed awkwardly, as Hope looked at him with surprise. "What? Everybody should know how to swim!" She confessed. "I'm kind of... scared of sharks—" The Shiratori added before Hope retorted, "How are you going to get away from a shark if you can't swim?"

"I had a sex dream about Charlie." Beau suddenly blurted, as Hope and Niko stopped their little chat, as everyone turned to face the Lazuli.

"Ew." Josie blurted, as Lizzie looked to Charlie to see his face was completely red. "W...What?" The Salvatore asked. "Woah B!! Living the hoe life, even in your sleep." Tori said with an impressed grin.

"Fuck." Beaumont cursed, "That was definitely supposed to be kept to myself." He admitted, as Charlie still seemed flustered.

"It was.... Only once, right?" Charlie asked nervously, as Beau averted his eyes away from the Salvatore. His silence being the answer, Charlie's eyes widened in realisation.

"I got in a fight with Kim Kardashian." Aphrodite piped up, as eyes moved away from Beau and Charlie, and instead landed on her. "Important question, did her fake titty break?" Tori asked mischievously, causing Amelia and Beau to snort with laughter. Aphrodite tried to bite back a laugh before she said, "Yeah!! The insert broke! It was so fucking funny!"

"Anyone got any secret talents?" Rafael asked, curiously. "Yeah! I can speak three different languages!" Valerie replied. "English, Spanish and French."

"Woah! That's so cool." Laura admitted, with an impressed smile. "Can you say something for us?" Charlie then asked, eagerly.

Valerie nodded before they said, "Rachel est une putain de garce." Although nobody knew what it meant. "That meant; Rachel is a fucking bitch." Valerie said confidently, with a shrug.

"Hey!" Rachel huffed, as Glen and Valerie fistbumped, as Glen was impressed with his friend.

"I can speak to animals... I guess I'm an animal whisperer." Myrical said, bringing the attention back to the question asked, although she loved to watch Rachel get cussed out.

"That's cool, where'd you learn to do that?" Rafael asked, as Myrical's face faltered, knowing she was going to answer them regardless of how much she didn't want to tell them. "When I lived in the forest, I realised I could communicate with the animals. They helped me to survive." She said, wanting to shrink under everyone's glances.

"I can sew." Beau piped up, trying to take the attention away from Myrical, as she was shrinking under everybody's stares.

"Oh cool! I can cook really well." Amelia added. "Really? You should cook for us." Hope replied, eyeing her cousin. "Yeah Mia, make us some food!" Tori huffed dramatically.

"I'm a self taught violinist." Glen spoke up, "I taught myself as a kid... and now I play everyday." He admitted.

"Woah, that's incredible." Charlie confessed, before Tori added, "It's true. He plays really well." She said, her eyes on Glen who had a small smug smile on his lips.

"Is there like, history between you two?" Josie asked, "Because there seems to be some sort of tension—"

"Yes." Both Glen and Tori answered in unison, before sharing an awkward glance. "We... have history together— more like had. When I first left Hope here and enrolled at Auclair academy, I still had my humanity. I wanted to turn it off, and planned to... but then I met Glen."

Tori groaned, that she had no choice but to talk about this... to reminisce on such feelings that she'd tried to leave in the past.

"Glen and I hung out a lot and I began to have feelings for him. He used to play me the violin, and it was incredible." Tori admitted, with a small smile. "But I didn't want my humanity... so in order to turn it off, I had to push away the person I was falling for. So I did that." Tori admitted, stretching out her arms. "And honestly, it was the best thing I ever did, because without my humanity, the only thing I feel is fucking awesome." Victoria hummed, her eyes landing on Glen, who was trying to hide his hurt.

Valerie reached out, and placed their hand delicately on Glen's as a sign of empathy.

"Is anyone else surprised that the Victoria Mikealson has not only a heart, but the capability to fall for somebody?" Rachel asked, as a couple of people chuckled. Hope just deadpanned the girl who belittled her sister before saying, "You know, I really don't like you."

"Does anybody have any secret fears?" Tori suddenly asked, clicking her tongue. She really wanted to get the attention off of her, and she was also overall curious.

"Snakes!! I am terrified of snakes." Niko confessed, "Especially the venomous ones." He admitted, with a shudder. "Oh well, I hate to break it to you, but there's one in this very room." Myrical suddenly blurted in shock, as her eyes landed on Rachel, giving away who she thought the snake in the room was.

"Bitch!" Rachel growled, getting to her feet as she seemed prepared to fight the hybrid. "Go back to being a quiet little hybrid freak who sits in the corner, along with Olivia!" The Diamond snapped, as everyone fell quiet.

"I hate clowns—" Val tried to say something to change the topic from what Rachel had said, but Aphrodite got to her feet, completely unwilling to drop this.

The redhead approached Rachel, veins under her eyes as she glared through the blonde. "You're a homophobic, racist bitch." The De Martel managed to say, only moments away from snapping.

Tori rested her chin on her palms, a smile on her lips as she had front row seats to watching Rachel get her ass beat by Aphie.

"Excuse me?" Rachel scoffed. "That's fucking rude." The vampire added.

"No. Oh no, you have been the root of my daughter's problems since day one. You have constantly belittled her and bullied her. You and Kiara are the reason Liv has become so secluded and distant. I'm not going to let you do this to any more students." Aphrodite seethed, viciously.

"What are you being everybody's Mum now or something?" Rachel snapped at the heretic. "No.... Maybe. Look, I'm not gonna stand here and watch more students lose their confidence and self-worth at the hands of you— someone who is clearly so deeply insecure that she has to destroy the lives of others." Aphrodite explained, keeping her glare on the blonde.

Rachel frowned, before she got to her feet. "Fine. I can see when I'm not wanted, but for the record you're all fucking boring!" The Diamond yelled before leaving the room, slamming the door on her way out.

"Good fucking riddance, cunt." Tori suddenly called out, causing everyone to erupt into a fit of giggles, as did Aphrodite.

Olivia gently closed the door to Carice and Rachel's dorm, leaving Clary alone. She'd hung around with her childhood friend and comforted her, and eventually the witch fell asleep so Liv quietly left.

She found herself beginning to feel a bit sleepy, as she stumbled towards her own dorm.

The Auclair opened the door to her dorm, finding Myrical in the room already, as the little get-to-know-you-with-truth-weed game was over.

"Riri." Liv squeaked, taking a step forward as she practically fell into Myrical arms dramatically, before she hugged the girl. The Benning let out a giggle, before she hugged Liv back.

Myrical wasn't a big fan of physical contact, but Liv seemed to be her exception, as they were really close. Truthfully, she found cuddles with Liv to be quite comforting.

There was soon a knock at the door, breaking the best friends apart. The hybrids spun around, facing Josie who gave them a small smile.

"Hey Liv... do you want to um... get some takeaway food and hang out?" Josie asked, a nervousness in her voice.

"Uh, sure!" Liv replied, with a smile, as she walked over towards Josie. The ravenette quickly looked over her shoulder to glance at Myrical before she asked, "Would you like to come, Riri?"

Myrical glanced at Josie quickly, noticing the pleading look on the Saltzman's face, as she wanted this to be a date. So the hybrid shook her head, "No thank you. Actually, I'm gonna go hang out with Laura for a bit, I think." She decided.

"Okay. Have fun, I'll see you later." Liv smiled, before she looked to Josie who smiled back at her. With that, the ravenettes left the dormitory.

Penelope watched as Charlie walked down the corridor, as questions flickered in her mind. Why was he being so hostile towards her?

She didn't know, and it bothered her. Not being friends like they used to be, was really bothering her.

The Park made a beeline for the boy, stopping him. "Charlie!" She quickly said, as the vampire spun around, to face her.

"What is going on?" She asked, lowly. "Why have you been ignoring me?" The Park added, as Charlie inhaled, though it seemed his breath hitched in his throat.

"I love you, Penelope." He admitted, still under the effect of truth weed, much to his disgust. Penelope froze, blinking in surprise for a moment, as she couldn't tear her shocked gaze from the Salvatore.

"I love you, and I hate that I love you." Charlie exhaled, thinking about how Penelope treated his siblings— except for Josie of course, as for some reason she treated the ravenette as though she was on a pedestal.

"I..." Penelope began, looking away for a moment as she struggled to meet the vampire's eye. "It's Josie, isn't it?" Charlie asked, wishing he could have kept that question to himself... Just as much as Penelope didn't want to spill the truth, and hurt Charlie.

"It's Josie. It's always gonna be Josie." Penelope managed to say, as tears welled in the corners of her eyes. "I love her, Charlie."

Charlie nodded, as this pained him. "I know... I understand. I wouldn't have told you this if... it wasn't for the truth weed." He admitted, wishing he had kept his feelings to himself.

"And I know that... we'll never be together. Not for as long as you treat Lizzie and Luca the way that you do." The Salvatore exhaled.

Penelope nodded sadly, knowing where she stood, that even if Josie weren't in the picture, she still wouldn't stand a chance with Charlie, because of her dislike towards the other Saltzmans that Charlie was fond of.

"I just... want things to go back to the way they were... before you left." Penelope admitted, as Charlie thought back to the times they'd shared before he was sent to Auclair Academy.

He and Penelope had become inseparable, best friends even, and were hardly seen apart. They had grown affectionate towards eachother, often found holding hands, and sometimes they even kissed.

But they'd never commented on it, and still called eachother best friends, though they knew they both felt something for eachother.

And then Alaric sent Charlie away. And during that time, Penelope and Josie became close.

And with Josie's self-victimising behaviour and well... manipulation, Penelope was easily turned against Lizzie and Lucas, judging them harshly, without knowing anything about the mental illnesses they have.

With Penelope's harsh judgment towards two people that meant the world to Charlie, there was no hope of them ever being friends again.

In the common room, with some Hot Coco Aphrodite made, a few students sat together and enjoyed eachother's company.

Landon and Lucas, who'd returned from their date, sat cuddled together by the fireplace.

Niko and Hope sat together on the couch, Hope insisting they get Niko some swimming lessons, while Niko insisted he stayed far away from any body of water.

Laura and Myrical sat beside MG, as he had a large comic book open. He flipped through it, as they read it with him. "She's hot!" Myrical completely blurted, pointing to a panel with Cat woman.

Realising she had said that aloud, still under the influence of truth weed, the girl blushed with embarrassment, as Laura and MG lightheartedly chuckled.

Valerie, Jed and Kaleb were rotating a small video game system, as they each tried to beat a level on Super Mario. All the while, there was a lot of banter and flirting.

Aphrodite just watched, with a warm smile on her lips, as it was a sweet sight to see everybody getting along.

"Is that Hot Coco?" A voice asked, belonging to Lizzie. Aphrodite spun around, her eyes landing on the blonde. Her expression managed to become even softer upon seeing the Saltzman, as she seemed to look at her admiringly.

"Mhm. Would you like some?" Aphrodite asked, offering her mug out to the siphon. Lizzie had a slight smile as she nodded, before she took the cup in her hands.

After taking a sip of the sweet warm drink, Lizzie handed the mug back to Aphrodite, but not before thanking her.

"I never thought I'd see this happen..." Lizzie trailed off, looking at some of the Salvatore and Auclair students, who were mingling and forming friendships.

"Really? Did you too think that we were all monsters?" Aphrodite asked, with a smug smile on her lips. "What?! No!" Lizzie panicked, her eyes already giving away that she was thinking of how to backpedal from this.

"I'm just teasing." Aphrodite admitted, giving the blonde a light nudge. Lizzie blushed, embarrassedly before she glanced at the redhead.

"Though for years... the students here seemed to believe that Kiara raised monsters. I'm really glad to see that it isn't true." She said, as Aphrodite's lip curved into a smile again. "She tried, but there were students like me who tried to... prevent that."

Lizzie nodded, understanding. "Honestly... it seems to me like in a way, you saved them." She said, before instantly thinking about the relationship between Aphrodite and Olivia. The Auclair would not be the girl she is today without the De Martel.

Aphrodite responded with a warm smile, feeling touched by the heartfelt statement.

By the Old Mill, sat Olivia, Josie, a small radio and a box of pizza. "I can't remember the last time I had pizza." Olivia admitted, as she took another slice.

"Really?" Josie asked, as Liv, with her mouth-full, gave a nod. Once she swallowed her food she said, "My Mum never really wanted me to eat pizza."

Josie blinked in surprise, taken back by this. "What?! Is your Mum crazy?" She blurted, "Sorry, was."

Liv shrugged, "I never even tried ice cream until Aphrodite took me to the beach one day and she bought me one." She explained, fondly remembering that day.

Josie blinked in surprise, shocked by this statement, before Taylor Swift's re-recorded You Belong With Me began to blare through the small radio.

"I love this song!" Liv confessed, as she had always imagined singing this to her previous crush, who had been dating a guy that was totally not into her.

"Same!" Josie replied, before she began to sing along to the lyrics. "You're on the phone with your girlfriend, she's upset. She's going off about something that you said. Cause she doesn't get your humor like I do."

Olivia smiled smugly before she began to sing along also, "I'm in the room, it's a typical Tuesday night. I'm listening to the kind of music she doesn't like. And she'll never know your story like I do."

Instantaneously, both ravenettes got to their feet, and began dancing around as they felt hyped by the music as they sang the words together. "But she wears short skirts, I wear T-shirts. She's Cheer Captain, and I'm on the bleachers. Dreaming about the day when you wake up and find that what you're looking for has been here the whole time!"

As if on cue, Josie took Olivia's hands in her own, and danced around on the spot, waving their hands around together. "If you could see that I'm the one who understands you. Been here all along, so why can't you see? You belong with me!"

Letting go of their joined hands, Olivia began to giggle lightheartedly, having fun. Josie's expression softened, seeing the Auclair so happy. She looked so beautiful when she smiled...

When Liv stopped laughing, and looked to Josie, she noticed their faces were only inches apart. She glanced down at the Saltzman's lips, before quickly looking back up to her eyes.

Josie then leant forward, colliding her lips with Olivia's. The Auclair's eyes fluttered shut and she kissed back, not wanting the moment to end.

Little did Olivia know, she'd soon wish that kiss had never happened to begin with.
