〚SIXTEEN〛

Jungkook and Taehyung sat in the principal's office. Taehyung sat slumped, looking annoyed, a little scared, loosely unbuttoned shirt unpressed and mimicking his expression. Meanwhile Jungkook looked scared shitless, head in his hands, shirt tucked in and hair neat.

The principal found them in the janitor's closet, and looked very angry. Jungkook opened his mouth but only a scared, quivering "S-sorry-" came out. So the principal didn't say a word and told them to go to his office in an angry tone.

"This is so bad, so so bad, so so so bad, so so so so-"

"I get it." Taehyung mumbled, looking at the click on the wall in annoyance. The principal wasn't there at the moment, and Taehyung was getting frustrated. "You think he knows you sucked my dick in there?"

Jungkook placed his hands against his face, groaning aloud. "H-he's going to know I had a d-dick in my mouth and then he's gonna tell everyone I had a dick in my mouth and-and- and I won't get into college b-because I had your dick in my mouth-"

"Stop overreacting." Taehyung grumbled, and Jungkook looked at him, pained. "He's gonna tell us off and then we'll walk out. We'll get detention or whatever-"

"Detention? V, I've never had detention!" Jungkook cried, and Taehyung scoffed at him.

"Nerd. The worst thing that'll happen is that we get expelled or something-" Taehyung said, and Jungkook let out a pitiful cry, covering his face again.

"G-get expelled? I literally rather die!"

"Shut UP Hermione Granger. We're not gonna get expelled. Kids bunk classes all the time. It's fuckin' boarding school." Taehyung snapped, and Jungkook sniffled, looking up, straight ahead, at the wall in front of him.

"V I-I can't- my parents already hate me because I'm gay. They'll get so angry if the principal tells them this. Any chances of me doing what I wanted after highschool will be demolished!" Jungkook cried, and Taehyung looked at him for a few seconds.

The door to the office opened, and Jungkook instantly sat straight, while Taehyung stayed put. The headmaster walked in, glancing at the two, and sat down at his desk.

"Bunking classes is the utmost act of juvenility. That too during one of the most important years in highschool." The principal spoke gravely, and Jungkook nodded his head, looking down. Taehyung looked at him and rolled his eyes.

"I saw that, Mr. Kim. Is there some kind of answer for what exactly you two were doing in there?" The principal snapped, and Jungkook tensed.

"Drugs." Taehyung said.

Jungkook looked at him and widened his eyes, as if telling him to shut up. While the principal chuckled, clearly not finding any humour in what Taehyung said.

"Is this some kind of joke to you, V?" The principal said, leaning forward a little, asserting his dominance and anger. Jungkook spoke up before Taehyung could say anything dumb.

"S-sir- we- we acknowledge tha-that we should've b-been in class. And- and I promise, this w-will never happen again, and-" Jungkook started.

"Oh I'm glad you acknowledge it. I'm glad you acknowledge throwing away your future." Mr. Principal said lowly, and Taehyung scoffed.

"Oh no, Jungkook, would you look at that? We weren't there to put a stick on fire and see if carbon dioxide gets released! How will we EVER get into college??" Taehyung said dramatically, and Jungkook looked away, not wanting to be associated with this.

"Watch your limits, Mr. Kim." The principal shouted angrily, and Taehyung snickered and looked to the side. The principal turned and looked at Jungkook. "I understand that V here doesn't take this seriously, but you, Mr. Jeon? This is highly disappointing coming from you."

Jungkook looked down, cheeks burning in embarrassment. "I-I'm sorry-"

"Sorry won't cut it. You realise this is damaging your studies, right? This kind of behaviour is not something that is acceptable here, Mr. Jeon. Especially from students like you. It is utterly disappointing and I can say it will damage your grade and school report-"

Taehyung was looking at Jungkook, who was looking at his feet, and saw tears rising in Jungkook's eyes. Jungkook didn't want to cry, he really didn't. It's just that.. he was rarely ever yelled at. He was always such a good student. Always made the effort to get A's and A+'s. So it sucked that this had to happen. And yeah, it made him want to cry.

Taehyung's breath hitched, and he looked at the principal. "It- it's not his fault." Taehyung spoke up, and Jungkook sniffled, looking at him in slight confusion.

"Excuse me?" The principal asked, and Taehyung sat up, looking at him.

"I- um- forced him.. to skip class. 'Cause.. I-I didn't do the homework and... was forcing him to do mine. He didn't want to do it. It's all my fault. I swear." Taehyung said the last part softly, and Jungkook's eyes twinkled for a second while looking at the grey haired boy.

The principal paused for a few seconds, and then sighed. "That is.. a serious misdemeanor, Mr. Kim. We don't handle any kind of bullying in this school, do you understand?" The principal snapped.

Taehyung nodded. "Jungkook, go to your class. Mr. Kim will stay here while I have a strong word with him." The principal said gravely, and Jungkook nodded hastily, getting up and walking to the door, giving Taehyung a lingering look.

Jungkook didn't see Taehyung for the rest of the day. Right when the school day ended, Jungkook saw Taehyung and rushed up to him. Taehyung looked a little dulled, expressionless as he walked out and into the midst of kids in the hallway. Jungkook rushed up to him, tapping on his shoulder.

"V- everything alright?" Jungkook asked, and Taehyung looked at him. Taehyung gave him a small smile.

"Yeah everything's cool." Taehyung said, and Jungkook frowned.

"Did the principal say something?" Jungkook asked, and Taehyung hummed, looking ahead.

Jungkook grabbed Taehyung's arm, pulling him back from walking away. "V~ talk to me." Jungkook said softly, and Taehyung turned around.

Taehyung looked a little annoyed, but that faded away upon seeing Jungkook's face. "Okay fine. Let's go to the- um- art room." Taehyung said, and Jungkook nodded.

They walked to the art room, which was empty as always. They entered and closed the door behind them. When they did, Jungkook heard Taehyung let out a sigh and place his books onto the desk.

Jungkook turned and walked up to him. "What's wrong?" Jungkook asked, and Taehyung took a deep breath, looking away.

"Nothing. Let's just.. fuck, or whatever." Taehyung mumbled, and Jungkook looked at him and shook his head, eyes big.

"No no. Don't do that to yourself, V." Jungkook said softly. "You can talk to me. It's better to let things out sometimes." Jungkook squeaked.

Taehyung looked at Jungkook wearily, and Jungkook brought his hands and grabbed Taehyung's. Taehyung gulped, still looking a little hesitant. So Jungkook walked him along to the floor and then sat Taehyung down, and climbed onto his lap.

Jungkook cupped his cheeks, kissing him gingerly. Taehyung closed his eyes, letting his hands rest on Jungkook's waist, and Jungkook kissed him for a little longer, and then pulled away. Jungkook touched Taehyung's nose with his own. "Talk to me."

Taehyung's eyes were still closed, and when he finally opened them, Jungkook saw tears. Jungkook's breath hitched, and Taehyung blinked them away, looking vulnerable. Jungkook tsked, seeing Taehyung trying his hardest to hold back his tears.

"Let it out, V. There's no one here to judge you." Jungkook whispered softly, and Taehyung felt tears roll down his cheeks, looking to the side.

"T-the principal mailed my-my father." Taehyung spoke, voice a little hoarse. Jungkook tilted his head a little, and Taehyung continued. "And- a-and told me that I w-was worsening my life and that of others."

"That's not true." Jungkook said, but Taehyung didn't listen.

"My father called me d-during lunch." Taehyung said, voice cracking a little, grip only tightening on Jungkook's waist. "He was so- so a-angry. Said I-I'm not good at- at anything, a-and-" Taehyung choked out the last part, and Jungkook wrapped his arms around Taehyung's neck.

"That's not true at all, V. You know that's not true, right?" Jungkook said, a little worried when he felt Taehyung hide his nose in the crook of Jungkook's neck, crying out.

Jungkook hugged him tighter, kissing Taehyung's forehead. "It's okay... it's okay.. don't worry, let it out." Jungkook whispered, and his voice was so comforting to Taehyung's ears. So comforting, that he felt like he had nothing to hide.

"I-I miss h-her so much," Taehyung let out in a small voice, and Jungkook felt his stomach string up.

"Miss who?" Jungkook asked, hoping the answer was not what he thought it was.

"M-my mother." Taehyung stammered weakly. "I-I miss her, Kookie. I-I just w-want her to be- h-here again." Taehyung whispered, tears streaming down his face, voice shaking.

"I'm sorry. I'm really sorry that happened, V. You- you didn't deserve any of that." Jungkook said, feeling a lump in his throat.

Jungkook pulled away from the hug, hoping he wasn't making Taehyung uncomfortable. But before he could, Taehyung hugged him tighter, pulling him in closer.

"D-don't go." Taehyung let out.

"I won't." Jungkook replied quickly, and then kissed Taehyung's forehead. "I won't, baby. I'm right here."

"Good. Stay, p-please." Taehyung said, and Jungkook nodded, letting his eyes rest as he lay his cheek atop of Taehyung's head.

Taehyung held Jungkook for a while, while Jungkook held Taehyung. It was peaceful in the small art room, while the sun poured in, dimming into the later afternoon of the day. All they heard was the far away chatter of students outside.

For a little, for just a little while, it was just them. Just Taehyung and Jungkook, in the art room, holding each other, slipped into a little trance where all they had was comfort and heavy hearts. All they had was each other for that time, and it was perfect.

After a while, of course, Taehyung pulled away from the hug, looking down. He let out a little snicker, cheeks wet with tears. "God I'm such a pussy,"

"No you're not." Jungkook said, wiping Taehyung's cheeks. "You're strong. Very strong." Jungkook whispered.

Taehyung looked at Jungkook slowly. "She- um. S-she passed away when I was 12. Cancer." Taehyung said, words barely leaving his mouth.

Jungkook nodded slowly, knowing to keep quiet. "She w-was such- such a good mother, Kook. I-I knew my father always treated her badly. She was younger than him. Much younger. I-I still, to this day, never know why she stayed with him for as long as s-she did." Taehyung said softly.

"After she passed away, it was just me and my father. I hated him." Taehyung said, looking away, resent reaching his eyes. "He didn't like me either. So when I was 13 he sent me to boarding school." Taehyung snickered. "I was glad he did. I needed change, I just- I-I couldn't stay in that town. Seeing all the pitiful faces of people who never gave a damn about my mother, pretending to care. Feeling sorry for me because I lost her. It was bullshit." Taehyung snapped, and then took a deep breath.

"S-so that;s why.. when I came here I.. closed myself off, I guess. Dyed my air. Started dressing different. Acting mean. Made sure no one knew my name. Because if they knew my name, they'd know what happened." Taehyung said. "A name holds so much. A name says everything about the person. Where they're from. Their family. Their past. Too much. Too much I didn't want to share," Taehyung said gruffly.

"So- I made sure everyone called me V. I talked to the football Coach about this when I was 13. He was always nice to me. Recruited me into the high school team even though I wasn't in high school. He told the school board to call me V, and I'm glad he did. That's also why I never had a roommate I guess.." Taehyung shrugged.

Jungkook smiled a little, and then let his thumb trace Taehyung's cheekbone. "I like your name. It means 'everything will be alright, even after facing difficult situations'. I think that's kind of nice, don't you?" Jungkook asked.

Taehyung looked at him for a few seconds, and then gasped. "Oh my god, did you search my name up on the internet-"

"No!" Jungkook squeaked, and then Taehyung started laughing. Jungkook blushed, hitting Taehyung on the chest. "Okay maybe! But i-it's not a big deal!"

"Yes it is! God, you're so cute." Taehyung chuckled, leaning up to kiss Jungkook firmly.

Jungkook felt his breath hitch and stomach explode with butterflies while he kissed him back. "I'm cute."

"Very."

Jungkook giggled, and then poked Taehyung's chest. "I never thanked you for lying to the principal back there. I-it was really nice of you. Thanks." Jungkook whispered.

"Eh. It's no big deal. You looked like you were about to cry.. and I know how much this school shit means to you. Plus, it was kinda my fault." Taehyung snickered.

Jungkook smiled for a little, and then leaned forward and kissed him again. "It was very gentleman-y of you."

"I'm always very gentleman-y, Jungkook."

"You burped at Jimin's face yesterday."

"I'm always very gentleman-y around you."

"You literally bend me over your lap any chance you get and try spanking me-" Jungkook started, and then squealed in laughter when he felt Taehyung grab his hips and bend him over his lap.

"No~" Jungkook whined, and Taehyung smacked his ass a couple of times. Jungkook blushed profusely, kicking his legs in the air, feeling Taehyung spank his ass again.

"I hate you! You have a serious spanking kink, V. It's bad."

"I do not-"

"Yes you do! You try to spank me ALL the time!"

"No I don't! Shut up-" Taehyung mumbled, spanking Jungkook again.

Jungkook turned around and looked at Taehyung. He sat up on his lap, sitting sideways now. Jungkook smiled a little at how Taehyung wiggled his eyebrows at him, and god, he just wanted to spend more time with him.

But he didn't wanna come off as weird. Or like he had a crush on him. Or something weird like that. So Jungkook kept quiet, getting up from Taehyung's lap.

"Kook?" Taehyung asked, and Jungkook hummed, seeing Taehyung looking up at him at where he was slouched against the wall, looking effortlessly sexy. "Can I see you paint?"

Jungkook felt a warm blush reach his cheeks. "Y-you want to see that?"

Taehyung got up from the floor, smirking at Jungkook. "Of course I do, Koks. Especially the one you were telling Jin about at lunch yesterday. Remember? The one inspired from the 1970's feminist movement- with the pink paint and stuff? It sounded really interested."

Jungkook's eyes turned big, and he blinked. He stood there for a few seconds, and then gleamed. "Yes!! I painted a bit of it today! Wanna see?"

"Isn't that what I asked?" Taehyung snickered, and Jungkook blushed.

"Sorry." Jungkook said, and then turned to reach for the door of the small art supply room to walk out towards the normal art room.

Taehyung walked behind him, and then wrapped his arm around Jungkook's waist. "You're real adorable, baby."

Jungkook blushed, poking Taehyung's side. "Not in bed though." Jungkook winked.

"You wish." Taehyung scoffed, and Jungkook giggled, hitting him on the chest, feeling butterflies flying freely in his tummy.
