〚FOURTEEN〛

The puck slid across the shiny surface of the air-hockey table and a shout of excitement erupted when it veered into the hole on one side. "Goal!" Jungkook let out, arms in the air, and heard Taehyung groan, rolling his eyes.

"How the fuck are you winning this??" Taehyung grumbled in annoyance, and Jungkook laughed airily, humming in delight upon seeing the big red letters flash 6-10. Jungkook had 10.

"Maybe I'm better than you." Jungkook said, and Taehyung scoffed. "Someone.. being better than me? Not a chance." Taehyung said, in a clear sarcastic tone, and Jungkook started laughing.

The game ended there, and Jungkook received an overflow of tickets from the machine. He giggled, and Taehyung walked up to him. Jungkook got all the tickets and pulled them out, standing up and bouncing on the balls of his feet.

"Someone's excited," Taehyung snickered, and Jungkook let out another giggle. Taehyung reached his hand to the small of Jungkook's back, turning him around. "Calm down, Kookie. It's just tickets," He whispered the last one near his ear, and Jungkook blushed.

"Well I won." Jungkook pointed out, and they walked to the DDR machine. "We'll see who wins at dancing," Taehyung said cockily, and Jungkook grinned and they both climbed onto the machine.

Jungkook. Jungkook won at dancing.

"I fucking hate you!" Taehyung shouted in anger, kicking the stupid machine. Jungkook started doing some dumb dance on the machine and Taehyung just climbed off.

"Oh come on, V- don't be a sore loser. I'm just good at dancing." Jungkook reassured, and Taehyung looked at him, sneering.

"You're good at dancing, good at singing, good at art, really good at studies, good at football, and you're pretty. What's something you can't do, Jeon?" Taehyung said with a small smirk, and Jungkook blushed.

Not have feelings for you, Jungkook thought, but ignored it.

He climbed down from the machine and nudged Taehyung's shoulder lightly. "You think I'm good at football?" Jungkook said with a big smile on his face, and Taehyung turned around instantly.

"I didn't say that."

"Yes you did! You admitted that I am good!"

"Okay fine! You're... decent." Taehyung said, and Jungkook pouted. He walked over to Taehyung, holding his many tickets. Taehyung turned to him, and sighed.

"Do you want me to go buy you something?" Taehyung asked, and Jungkook got a little blush on his cheeks.

"B-buy me what?" Jungkook asked in a small voice, and Taehyung shrugged. "Like a teddy bear or something."

Jungkook looked at Taehyung slowly, couldn't help feeling awfully.. shy and pliant around him. He couldn't help it. He had a fat fucking crush on Taehyung, and it's not his fault!!

"Okay." Jungkook said, and Taehyung took the tickets from him. "Should I come with y-"

"No no, that's alright. Y'know what, just wait here, I'll get you something, and then we'll go have dinner." Taehyung said with a smile, and Jungkook nodded, not knowing why Taehyung was being so.. nice? Doing something for him? Call Jungkook hyping the bare minimum, but this was crazy coming from Taehyung.

Jungkook saw Taehyung turn around and walk over to the ticket counter thing with many gifts behind it, and decided to stand against the wall, letting himself cascade his eyes over Taehyung's frame. His.. wide shoulders.. grey hair.. red bandana.. oof, Taehyung was a walking buffet. Jungkook doesn't know why Taehyung finds him attractive.

Jungkook bit his lip. Taehyung was being nice. This was a change. This was.. good, right? Maybe it meant something. No, don't look into it.

Okay Jungkook totally looked into it. Taehyung was being nice, and it set Jungkook's heart beating rapidly. He got a small smile on his face, until-

Taehyung was stood at the ticket counter, elbows leaning over it. A girl came up to him who worked at the ticket counter, a smile on her face. She looked around their age, with long hair, wearing the uniform.

Jungkook's mouth went dry when he saw her lean forward to talk to him, and then laughing at whatever Taehyung was saying. She even blushed, and then quickly took a teddy bear and handed it to him, a flirty look on her face.

Jungkook instantly knew that they didn't have enough tickets for that bear, but Taehyung got it anyway. She even gave him the receipt after writing something on it, and then Taehyung waved at her and gave her a little smirk, and walked back over to Jungkook.

Jungkook looked at him in confusion, and then saw Taehyung snicker. "Guess who got that hot chick's number?" Taehyung said, wiggling his eyebrows while looking at the receipt.

He took the bear and handed it to Jungkook, not even looking at him, but at the receipt. Jungkook took the teddy bar, looking at Taehyung with confusion. His stomach felt a little queasy.

"I-I don't want this-" Jungkook stammered, but Taehyung clearly didn't hear him.

"She was so hot, dude. Probably 17 or 16 or something. She'll probably agree to hooking up, right?" Taehyung said, turning around to walk out the arcade.

Jungkook followed him silently, gripping the teddy bear in his hands that he didn't even want anymore. Taehyung continued talking about that girl, something about how she said Taehyung was hot and how Taehyung wanted to bang her.

"Should I go to her after her shift is over?" Taehyung asked, more to himself than to Jungkook.

"No." Jungkook blurted out, and Taehyung looked at him. "B-because you need to go back to school, and-and-"

"We could fuck in the mall bathroom or something," Taehyung chuckled, and Jungkook shook his head.

"No! It's dirty there. You don't wanna do that. C'mon, let's just go get dinner." Jungkook mumbled, and Taehyung hummed. They walked upstairs towards the restaurant, and then found an italian one.

"Hoseok said he came here with that girl he was dating last year." Taehyung said, and Jungkook nodded, looking down. "You wanna eat here?" Taehyung asked, but Jungkook continued looking down, not hearing Taehyung.

"Kook," Taehyung snapped, and Jungkook looked up. "Do you want to eat here?"

"Y-yeah." Jungkook squeaked out, and Taehyung frowned, walking up to him. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing." Jungkook said softly, and then heard Taehyung sigh. Taehyung grabbed his chin, pulling it up to look at him. Jungkook looked into his darkened eyes and felt his insides quiver.

"I-I don't want this." Jungkook said softly, giving the teddy bear to Taehyung.

"Why not?" Taehyung scoffed, and Jungkook was about to speak up, but Taehyung did. "Are you seriously upset because I didn't get you the pink one or something?"

"No." Jungkook said, and then looked at Taehyung achingly, hoping he'd get what Jungkook meant. Taehyung still looked confused, so Jungkook sighed. "Forget it. Let's just go eat."

They both walked into the restaurant, and Taehyung placed his hand around Jungkook's waist, while the other boy gripped the teddybear (that he hated) tightly in his hands. They found a seat in the end and sat down there, both Jungkook looking a little annoyed, while Taehyung looked oblivious as always.

"What do you want to order?" Taehyung asked, and Jungkook looked at the menu, staying silent. "Kook? I said what do you want to-"

"I don't know, why don't you ask that girl from the arcade?" Jungkook said with annoyance, and Taehyung rose his eyebrow.

"......Okay. Anyways, I'll have a pizza. Do you wanna share it?"

"No. Why don't you share it with the girl from the ar-"

"Is there something you want to tell me?" Taehyung snapped, and Jungkook wrinkled his nose, looking at the menu. "No." Jungkook mumbled, and then the waitress walked up to them.

"What would you like to order?" The waitress asked, and Taehyung looked at her. "One large pepperoni and two cokes." He said, and then gave her a quick smile, and she nodded and walked away.

Jungkook looked down, lips puckered into a small pout. "Didn't say I wanted pizza.." Jungkook trailed.

"Yeah well you took too long so I'm ordering it anyway." Taehyung said, and then leaned forward, elbows on the table. "Don't make that face, Kook. C'mon, we only get to leave that shithole school once every few weeks, let's just enjoy ourselves, yeah?"

"I guess." Jungkook said in a small voice, and Taehyung rolled his eyes again, to which Jungkook frowned. "What?"

Taehyung leaned forward pressing their lips together.

Jungkook gasped into the kiss, and then realised Taehyung was holding the menu to cover the two of them. Jungkook felt his stomach flutter from the kiss and leaned in to kiss him a little harder, but then they heard a cough.

Both pulled away instantly, both blushing red. It was the waitress from earlier, she was smiling at them, adoring, with a tray with two drinks and a pizza in her hands. Taehyung cleared his throat. "Here's your food," She said with a slight chuckle, setting two tall glasses down on the table, and then the plate of pizza.

Taehyung got up. "I just- need to- um- go to the washroom." He mumbled and then rushed off, and Jungkook nodded, looking down.

"Do you need anything else?" She asked, and Jungkook looked at her and shook his head politely. She nodded, and then looked at him again. "And your boyfriend?"

Jungkook blushed at her words, and felt his stomach flutter a little. "H-he doesn't need anything either." He squeaked, and the woman nodded and left.

Jungkook felt his heart literally combust with butterflies. Boyfriend, Jungkook thought, biting his lip. It sent a flutter down his heart, a warmth reaching his cheeks. BoyfriendBoyfriendBoyfriendBoyfriend-

"Hey," Taehyung said once he was back, sitting down on the seat. "This pizza looks good, damn." Taehyung said, and Jungkook laughed.

"Is this pizza turning you on?" Jungkook asked, and Taehyung grabbed a slice, smelling it and making Jungkook laugh harder.

"And if it is?" Taehyung winked, and both giggled.

They quickly ate their food while talking about how their friends only talk about birds and it's a little concerning, and then got up from their seats and paid the bill.

They got up from their seats and began walking out of the restaurant. Taehyung walked ahead, walking out of the restaurant. Jungkook walked out as well, and then saw the waitress from earlier.

"Hope you and your boyfriend had a good time," She said to Jungkook with a small smile, and Taehyung instantly turned around, frowning.

Jungkook gulped. "T-thanks," He stammered, walking away quickly.

Jungkook walked away a few steps, and then felt Taehyung grab his arm. "Did she just call me your boyfriend?" Taehyung snapped, and Jungkook felt himself get turned around, looking at Taehyung.

Jungkook stayed quiet, which only caused Taehyung to grow angrier, eyebrows furrowing. "Did she or did she not just call me your-"

"S-she did! She- she a-asked me when you-you went to the w-washroom-"

"And you said I was your boyfriend?!" Taehyung snapped, and Jungkook gulped, looking down.

"I-I didn't m-mean it- she just- she just saw us k-kissing, so she a-assumed-" Jungkook stammered, and Taehyung looked annoyed, looking at Jungkook with darkened eyes.

"Jungkook I really hope you didn't think me taking you out here as friends meant anything." Taehyung snapped, and Jungkook nodded hastily, his stomach churning. "We're just fuckbuddies, not boyfriends."

"I-I know," Jungkook tried, but got cut off.

"No, I feel like you don't. You telling some random lady that I'm your boyfriend is really fucking weird," Taehyung growled, and Jungkook looked away, cheeks flushed.

"W-why-"

"I don't need people thinking I'm gay, Jeon. For fuck's sake- if I knew you'd be so fucking.. weird about this, I would've never-" Taehyung grumbled to himself, and Jungkook cowered his head.

He could feel his eyes gleaming with tears, and fuck, fuck, fuck don't cry in front of him, he thought inwardly, cursing himself out for being so goddamn sensitive.

"Whatever, let's just go back." Taehyung mumbled, and then began walking away.

Jungkook stood there for a few seconds, a lot of feelings in his heart, his stomach wallowing itself in pity. He wiped his tears quickly and began walking behind Taehyung, following him out.

They walked all the way back to school in silence, and then finally reached the dormitories, where Taehyung grabbed Jungkook by his back and led him to his room.

They reached Taehyung's room and Jungkook felt himself get pushed in lightly. Taehyung followed suit, closing the door behind him.

"You want me to fuck you over the bed again like last time, or something else?" Taehyung asked nonchalantly, taking his phone out of his pocket and chucking it onto his bed.

Jungkook looked at Taehyung hesitantly. "W-what?" He squeaked out, and then gulped. "Um- I-I don't feel like it right- right now."

Taehyung sighed aloud, sitting down on his bed. "Don't tell me you're mad at me because of what I said, Jeon."

"I'm not!" Jungkook snapped, looking away. "I'm just- I-I'm just tired." Jungkook mumbled, and then saw Taehyung roll his eyes and grab his phone.

"K, whatever." Taehyung mumbled, and Jungkook frowned a little. "What're you doing?"

"Texting Eka." Taehyung said gruffly, thumbs moving quickly on his keypad, not even bothering to look up at Jungkook. "Just because you won't suck my dick, doesn't mean someone else won't."

Jungkook paused for a few seconds, staring at Taehyung who wouldn't even spare him a glance. "I-" Jungkook started, wanting to tell him. Wanting to tell him that yes, his words did hurt him. And Taehyung shouldn't call anyone because Jungkook was right there, and if he just realised for one goddamn second that-

"Fine." Jungkook snapped, and Taehyung continued typing. "Have fun," He grumbled, walking out of his room and slamming the door shut.

The moment he walked out, Taehyung stopped texting and chucked his phone onto his bed, sighing.
