Jeongguk felt like his knees were going to give in at any time. Tears cascaded down his face. He couldn't watch it anymore. He turned and ran.

He couldn't quite decipher what was going on. The only thing he was aware of was the pain in his chest that felt like it would explode any time.

The second floor was too big for Jeongguk to find his way out easily. He was sobbing and he felt his legs would give out beneath him. He knelt on the ground and sobbed.

He tried to think logically about the whole situation. He didn't know why he was sobbing so much. Is this how you're supposed to feel when someone cheats on you?

Only that Taehyung didn't really cheat on Jeongguk, did he?

It wasn't like they were dating or had any kind of relationship. They weren't even friends. For fuck's sake they were enemies!

Even if whatever that had, had been something, never did either of them agree not to sleep with anyone else. Oh, this probably wasn't the only time Taehyung slept with someone else. All those days Jeongguk jacked off to Taehyung because he was needy and the way he longed for Taehyung through the week, Taehyung hadn't felt the same. He had probably been with other people.

Who was Jeongguk kidding? He was playing with fire. Jeongguk had been too lost in himself to realize who he was playing with. Kim Taehyung. Oldest of the Kims. CEO of the Tan Corporation. The beast. Most handsome face of 2017. The fuck boy.

Taehyung had women and men at his feet all the time. He was a fuck boy. He played. Everyone knew this. He fucked people and left them. Jeongguk was too daft to think that Kim Taehyung would actually keep it only to Jeongguk. That he'd only fuck Jeongguk when he had people all over the globe who'd kill to sleep with him.

Jeongguk wasn't much different, but he was decent enough to not sleep with anyone else when he was already with Taehyung.

Another heart-clenching sob escaped Jeongguk's mouth. He was such a fool. Falling for a man who was known to be a player. Falling for your enemy. Taehyung had been so sweet to Jeongguk. Treating him so delicately, admiring everything about him. Jeongguk felt loved. He felt important. Taehyung rewarded Jeongguk everything he never had, things he'll never be able to buy with money.

But all the things Taehyung said, he never meant them?

Crying over spilt milk was stupid.

Stupid.

Yes, that's what Jeongguk was.

Jeongguk gathered up all the strength of his broken being and got up from the ground. He ran. He didn't want to be in this place any longer. It disgusted Jeongguk.

He pushed past people and ran, the beat of the bass matching his heartbeat.

He saw the door and was making hurried steps towards it when he bumped in to a hard surface.

"Whoa, sorry buddy- I was- wait Jeongguk?"

Jeongguk looked up to see the man who he bumped in to. Oh, he was fucked.

Kim Seokjin.

"I'm not Jeongguk" Jeongguk said while he wiped his tears, eyes on the ground and tried to walk away from Jin. But Jin grabbed his arm.

"Leaving so soon? Jeongguk come on, let's have a chat, shall we?"

"Let me go!"

"Hey, buddy, you look like you need a drink. Come on" Jin dragged him away to the table where a lot of bottles were placed on.

"Here. Hakuna ma Tequila. It means no worries" Jin said and pushed a glass to Jeongguk's hands. Jin poured himself a glass and clinked it with Jeongguk's and downed it.

What does this fucker even want?

Fuck it maybe he needs it.

Jeongguk downed it in one go and hissed as the liquid burned down his throat.

"So what brought you here?" Jin asked. "Didn't exactly expect to see you in your enemy's lair"

Jeongguk didn't want to answer. He wasn't really in the mood for conversation. But the alcohol was already starting to numb him.

"I just wanted to see what the party was about" Jeongguk grumbled.

"Ahh right? It's lit though" Jin pressed another glass to Jeongguk and he gulped it down.

"How's the conference planning going?" Jin asked.

"Good" Another shot.

"Yeah?"

Another shot.

Jeongguk was obviously tipsy by now.

"Why were you with my aunt the other day? And why are you here?" Jeongguk's words came out slightly slurred.

"I do business with both parties. Nothing special"

Of course he did

Another shot. Then another.

"Jeongguk, you might want to slow do-"

Jeongguk took a bottle of vodka and gulped down the half-empty bottle. Jin watched in horror.

"Fuck, that's good" Jeongguk wiped his mouth from his sleeve after finishing the vodka.

"Jeongguk, who even made you this way?" Jin asked, worried about the younger now.

"You wanna know?' Jeongguk chuckled darkly.

"That fucker. Kim Taehyung" Jeongguk leaned against the table, unable to stand upright.

"I'm gonna fuck him up I swear" Jeongguk said. "No, I can't do that. I-I-I can't!" Jeongguk sniffed.

Jin was confused. "What did he even do to you?"

"He fucked me up, Hyung" Jeongguk was in tears. "I don't deserve to be treated like this" Jeongguk took a step towards Jin but ended up falling towards him and Jin fortunately caught him.

Jeongguk sniffled against Jin's neck.

"I want mommy" Jeongguk whispered against Jin's neck.

"Jeongguk-"

Before Jin could say another word, both Jeongguk's hands were on Jin's cheeks.

"Mommy" Jeongguk said. "You look so handsome, you know. Gosh, you might even be more handsome than Taehyung. No, no Taehyung's more handsome. But oh fuck, you're so hot, Jin"

Jin gulped. "I-I know that, Jeongguk"

Jeongguk pouted. "Will you fuck me?"

Jin's eyes widened. "Jeongguk I-"

Before Jin could oppose, Jeongguk's lips were already on Jin's.

The younger's kiss was sloppy and before Jin could respond to it in any way-

"JEONGGUK?!"

Jeongguk broke the kiss and turned to see a very angry Taehyung staring at him. His hair was neat, as if it had been combed. His clothes, on the other hand, looked messed up.

"DADDY!"

Jeongguk lunged himself at Taehyung and Taehyung caught him before he could fall.

"Why are you here?" Taehyung asked the younger boy who was pouting at him through half-lidded eyes.

"You meanie! Daddy is so mean to baby Jeonggukkie" Taehyung gulped and looked at Jin.

"He's drunk" Jin said.

"Yeah I can see that" Taehyung said, annoyed. "I'll take him upstairs. Someone might see him here" Taehyung turned to leave.

"And Jin" Taehyung said, looking back. "If you say a single word about what you saw and heard, I'll sue your whole company and tell Namjoon that you stole his dildo"

"You wouldn't!" Jin said dramatically.

"Oh yes I would"

"Bastard" Jin huffed.

Taehyung carried Jeongguk his room, which was locked. He unlocked it and locked it again behind him. He placed Jeongguk on the bed took off his shoes. Then he tucked the other boy to bed.

Taehyung sat next to Jeongguk and brushed some stray strands of hair off his face.

"My baby. Whatever made you like this?" Taehyung murmured.

A sniff. And Jeongguk opened his eyes. They were unfocused.

"You" He whispered. A tear escaped his eye and then another.

Taehyung watched in horror as Jeongguk silently cried. He had no idea what he'd done to upset Jeongguk. He was panicked

"Baby, what's wrong? What did I do?" Taehyung pulled Jeongguk up to face him but the boy refused to meet his eyes.

"You cheated on me" Jeongguk said.

Oh

Did he see?

"You- you! You meanie! You hurt me so much I hate you! I'm-"Jeongguk shouted. "I can't! What's wrong with me? Tae-Taehyung. I think I'm in love with you!"

Taehyung froze.

Jeongguk was in love with him?

Oh no

Taehyung didn't know how to feel. This can't be happening. This wasn't how it was supposed to go. Thousands of emotions whirled around Taehyung's mind at those words.

The other boy had already passed out. Soft snores escaped his small mouth.

Taehyung watched the smaller boy sleep peacefully. He looked so beautiful. Something in Taehyung's heart leaped every time he saw Jeongguk. Now wasn't any different. He wanted to protect the other boy at all costs.

Taehyung was confused. He didn't know how to react to what he'd just heard. Until he did.

He took one last look at Jeongguk and left the room.
