Later in the human world at a really fancy hotel Mephisto took a shower and afterwards was laying down on the bed thinking about what to do.

While Lucifer was in another room in the kitchen making coffee.

Mephisto couldn't believe this is where he was at right now. And couldn't believe Lucifer actually loved him and was risking a lot and doing all this just to protect him.

It was nice but Mephisto knew he couldn't ignore this forever and that his time was running out.

He knew he had to die but Lucifer wouldn't allow that. And knew Diavolo wouldn't allow that either.

He didn't want to die but knew there was nothing that could be done.

And as Lucifer walked over to him he ask.

Mephisto : Lucifer can I ask you something?"

Lucifer : what is it?"

Mephisto : if worst comes to worst and there's nothing anyone can do.....can you do it?"

Lucifer. : Do what?"

Mephisto then sat up and said looking at him.

Mephisto : ....can you be the one to kill me"

Lucifer : what!?"

Mephisto : If I have to die I want you to be the one to do it. Figured it won't be so bad so bad coming from you"

Lucifer : .....I already said you are n-

Mephisto : as a what if  I need to know....."

Lucifer : your not dying.....but for your what if.....if that's what you want I'll do so"

Mephisto : thank you....."

Lucifer then walked over to him and said putting his hand under his chin and lifting it up.

Lucifer :  If I really do end having to kill you. Then I really hate that you made me love you"

Mephisto : you did that yourself..."

Lucifer : maybe I did"

Lucifer then started kissing him and during this Mephisto said.

Mephisto : you pick....the worst times for this...."

Lucifer : I....."

Thinking back on it he wasn't necessarily wrong they did get caught two to three times because of him.

Mephisto : I never said you had to stop?"

Lucifer : then I won't"

After Lucifer push him back down on the bed and lean down and started kissing him again.

Few minutes later their clothes were everywhere on the floor. and Mephisto was laying down on the bed with Lucifer on top of him and thrusting slowly while kissing his neck but then stop and started kissing him going lower and lower.

As Mephisto was moaning and breathing heavily. He was just looking at Lucifer.

He really did like him and did wish he could be with him longer. He never thought he would ever fall in love with someone. And tried so hard not to knowing one day of his fate.

He was hoping for a way to fix this but knew there wasn't. As to why he ask Lucifer to kill him when the time came.

If he had to die he wanted Lucifer to be the one to do it. Then at least he wouldn't go being so upset.

He knew this was probably a lot to ask Lucifer but knew he understood and would do it despite not wanting to.

However long they were going to stay here was probably going to be the last time they would have time together so he was going to enjoy every minute they had.

The next day in the morning Mephisto and Lucifer were laying on the couch together.

And as Mephisto was laying down on his chest. Lucifer had his arms wrap around him and they were just laying there relaxing.

And Lucifer was being strangely sweeter and nicer and Mephisto knew it was probably because he was most likely going to die but still. It kinda freak him out he liked it better when he wasn't nice or sweet.

But just laying there made him kinda forget about what was going on.

Mephisto : another what if....if I die can you help take care of my brother?"

Lucifer : yes you won't have to worry about him"

Mephisto : good....."

Lucifer  : are you alright?"

Mephisto : ......like I said once I lose control it will never be enough......"

Lucifer : just take it at least it will ease it for a little while."

Mephisto : .....I don't really have anything else to lose......"

Lucifer : I'll be fine"

Mephisto : ....."

Mephisto then lifted his head up and then immediately bit the side of Lucifer's neck. Biting down hard feeling so thirsty and hungry.

It did hurt Lucifer a lot more than usual but he didn't care as long as it was helping Mephisto and buying him more time.

And  as Mephisto was sucking his blood he also started to lick where he was sucking knowing it was sensitive for Lucifer from how many times he bit him.

But before anything else could happen.

suddenly there was a knock on the door and they heard Diavolo and Barbatos and froze.

Lucifer : ......."

Mephisto : ......"

Mephisto then took his mouth off of Lucifer's neck and asked.

Mephisto : ......did you lock the door this time...."

Lucifer : yes I didn't forget....."

Mephisto : this is your fault"

Lucifer : I didn't start this. This time you d-

Mephisto : whatever"

After this they both got up and ran off to go hide any evidence of anything and get properly dress.
