Lucifer went over to the room it was coming from and as he walked in saw he was shock at what he saw.

There were dead demons on the floor and blood everywhere especially on
Mephisto who was covered in blood and sucking blood out of one of the demons necks but immediately stop as he saw him.

Mephisto didn't look at him and before anything else he suddenly pass out.

Lucifer didn't know what to do but he quickly picked up Mephisto and then left not wanting him to get in trouble.

Later at the house Mephisto suddenly woke up and as he did he saw he was in Lucifers room in his bed with different clothes on he then sat up as Lucifer walked in.

Mephisto : i-

Lucifer : are you alright?"

Mephisto :.....I killed them didn't I?"

Lucifer : yes you did and eventually someone will find them anyway before we talk about what happened. I need to confess something"

Mephisto : and what is that?"

Lucifer : awhile ago Diavolo told me everything about you"

Mephisto : ....of course he did....."

Lucifer : I'm aware of what your going through"

Mephisto : then your also aware that it's to late to help me"

Lucifer : who says it-

Mephisto : I killed them I couldn't resist. I knew for a long time eventually I was going to be beyond saving that nothing was going to work anymore."

Lucifer : does he k-

Mephisto : no. He thinks I can be saved but eventually like with some medicine you become immune to it.

I honestly thought I would have more time but looks like I was wrong"

Lucifer : we can still help you"

Mephisto : it's going to keep getting worse till no amount of blood I drink is enough and I end up going on some rampage.....these demons were killed for a reason and just like them I will have to b-

Lucifer : NO!"

Mephisto : .....you think I want to die? No? But it's something I always knew was going to happen.

And it doesn't matter. I did this for my brother and he'll be fine and that's all that matters if I cared about myself I wouldn't have made the deal"

Lucifer : nobody is going to kill you. I won't allow that"

Mephisto : stop acting like you care about me like this really was a-

Lucifer : wether you believe me or not I do care. And what I was going to tell you was that I love yo-!?

Mephisto : really?"

Lucifer: .....yes I do....."

Mephisto wasn't sure what to say it was kinda bittersweet to hear given the situation yet it was nice to hear him say that.

Mephisto : you have a death wish don't you Lucifer?"

Lucifer : maybe I do. Anyway Diavolo will want to talk to you soon"

Mephisto : I know that.....and I rather avoid speaking with him right now but here will be the first place he looks"

Lucifer : I know somewhere we can go for a little while"

Mephisto : wouldn't it look bad on me? Like I'm running from the crime?"

Lucifer: technically we'll come back. I'll advise Levi to watch your brother a little while longer"

Mephisto : .......let's go then"

Few hours later Diavolo and Barbatos we're at the room that the dead demons were in that they block off and we're trying to figure out what happened.even though Diavolo knew.

Barbatos : this mess....looks all too familiar....."

Diavolo : I suppose it does. Could they have gotten far"

Barbatos : .....lord Diavolo you know who did this don't you?"

. Diavolo : no?...."

Barbatos : I've been suspecting it for a long time now.....it's Mephisto isn't it?"

Diavolo : ..... he's been doing good.....but.... it's been getting bad recently and I don't know how to fix it......"

Barbatos : ..... how you manage to help him this long is interesting something I could never figure out"

Diavolo : there has to be a way.....I can't lose him"

Barbatos : we'll find a way but it's not a guarantee. Also why didn't you tell me?"

Diavolo : I was afraid you would say there was no way and we would have to kill him...."

Barbatos : .....that reminds me how were you able to help him?"

Diavolo : a special diet....and I would let him have my blood"

Barbatos : that accident was because he already took as much as he could before it started killing you?"

Diavolo: yes"

Barbatos : .....you know what this means. This just makes him stronger which makes it harder for a way to help him"

Diavolo : he has also been taking from Lucifer"

Barbatos : ......you say with that diet he's been alright until a few weeks ago?"

Diavolo : yes?"

Barbatos : nothing changed with him or it?"

Diavolo : nothing accept...... Lucifer....."

Barbatos : this might be the key as to why it's spiraling again as to why I'm not sure yet"
