When Riddhima stepped into her house she was greeted by tensed, nervous faces of her family. Mrs. Rautela cried loudly as she captured her in a hug.
"Oh my God Riddhima, I was so worried for you. Are you alright!!!" Mrs. Rautela asked, cupping her face. Riddhima's eyes held tears and it wasn't Mrs. Rautela but Mr. Rautela who noticed the vermilion on her head. Riddhima didn't wear it to the party, that means.....
"WHAT DID HE DO!!!!" yelled Mr. Rautela, furious at his audacity. Mrs. Rautela protectively stood before her, thinking her husband was angry at her for being out for a one full night. But perhaps that wasn't the case.
"Did someone call me!!" and here came the man himself. He still wore the same set of clothes he wore to the party, except for the fact that he looked more fresh than Riddhima. Boys have this ability to look clean and fresh just by splashing a little water on their faces. Why is that??? Anyways, Mr. Rautela was incensed. He knew what he had done. And therefore he deserved to be confronted.
"Stop staring at me like that you look creepy." Vikramaditya said calmly, looking at Riddhima's nervous figure crying silently. Mr. Rautela balled his fists.
"How dare you....."
"Mr. Rautela relax.." Mrs. Rautela tried to pacify her husband as she watched the vermilion on Riddhima's forehead.
"This man thinks that he has the power to do anything he wishes to..."
"Exactly. I've the power." he told his father-in-law blankly. Mr. Rautela was ready to grab his collar.
"Mr. Raghuvanshi you shouldn't have done that. You destroyed my daughter's life." Mrs. Rautela told him hatefully. Vikramaditya looked down at her coldly.
"I should've done this a long ago. You were poisoning her mind against me. Instead of asking your daughter to fix things out with her husband you were urging her to break this marriage once and for all. You think marriage is a joke.... it's all because of you." he yelled at them all. Mr. and Mrs. Rautela looked at him in shock. They never gave any such advice to Riddhima. Riddhima too was puzzled. But she won't let him off without an answer this time.
"No. You can't blame them. They did nothing. It was my decision to not live with you. Stop blaming them." she justified. He wasn't impressed. Look, he will save his wife's reputation at all costs. He simply can't say in front of everyone that she was complete dumb. Hence he will pin things on them.
"That's what you think. However, these arguments are of no use now. Go and pack your bags, we're leaving." he told her with a straight face, although inwardly he was jumping like a toddler. Finally!!! She was going to live with him forever. That was all Vikramaditya had ever wanted. Riddhima looked at Mrs. Rautela, conveying her disagreement through her teary eyes.
"No. She isn't going anywhere. You're leaving and never coming back." Mrs. Rautela told him flatly. Vikramaditya looked at Riddhima tiredly.
"Riddhi is it going to be the hard way?? Do we have to go through this everytime?? I just want to take my bride from this house respectfully. Why don't your family understand this???" he asked, desperation apparent in his voice. Riddhima looked at him in disbelief. It's he who's acting like a complete psychopath and not understanding anything and here he's putting all the blame on her family. Can somebody slap him please???
"You're completely delusional Mr. Raghuvanshi. I'm not coming with you. Please leave." Riddhima yelled at him with tears. Mrs. Rautela tried to console her. Vikramaditya watched her coldly for a second. His eyes dark and devoid of any emotions.
"Fine, than it's gonna go the hard way." he whispered, his tone threatening. Riddhima, for a second, was frightened.
"Oh really and what will you...." he stopped as Vikramaditya swiftly drew out a pistol from behind him and aimed it at his forehead. Riddhima screamed in terror while Mrs. Rautela's face went pale.
"Riddhi, if you don't come within 10 minutes with your bags packed, there will be bullets inside Mr. Rautela's head." he told her calmly, eyes dark. Riddhima couldn't feel her heartbeat for a second. She was just standing on her place like a statue, too afraid to move.
"GO!!!" he shouted. Riddhima gasped loudly as she turned and ran upstairs to pack her things real quick.

When she came down in the hall. She found the gun's barrel still pressed to Mr. Rautela's head. Vikramaditya's eyes lightened up at the sight of her. She still was crying and he did feel bad about that but he knew it was for their own good. She is destined to be with him. She just needs to understand.
"Riddhima no. Just don't listen to him. You're not going with him." Mr. Rautela said bravely. Mrs. Rautela nodded. Riddhima couldn't help but wonder what has she done that these people love her so much. This man is ready to sacrifice his life just for her. But Riddhima will not let these people suffer because of her. She knew Vikramaditya would turn their lives hell if he didn't have her.
"I can't risk your lives..."
"Very well, leave this suitcase here and wait for me in the car. I'll be there in a minute." Vikramaditya interjected, impatient to leave with her.

Riddhima quietly walked out of the house, waving Mrs. Rautela bye, heartbroken. When she had left, Vikramaditya withdrew his gun and lifted up the suitcase effortlessly.
"Jai Shree Ram." he smirked and said as he started walking out, leaving Rautelas furious and chagrined.
"This man.... I'll kill him..." Mr. Rautela muttered as he walked out of the door.
"Oh don't panic. We'll take an action against him. I just want my daughter to be safe that's it." Mrs. Rautela told him anxiously.
"Um yeah and one more thing..." his voice came through the door. They turned and found him peeking from behind the door like a five year old.
"The gun....um, it was empty. I forgot to load bullets in it this morning." he confessed. Mr. Rautela was livid.
"You....."
"Tata bye......" and he wasn't seen after that.

In the evening Riddhima was seen crying on the bed. Vandana was sitting next to her and trying to console her.
"Please Thakurani ji, have faith in God. Everything will be alright." Vandana told her. Riddhima was unmoved.
"I don't think so. It has gone from bad to worse. Now I am stuck here with him forever." she cried. Vandana could only watch her in pity.
"He's not a bad guy, it's just that you're the only woman who's ever showed him affection. He's just too attached to you, so much that he can't bear your seperation. He loves you." Vandana said softly. That didn't sit well with Riddhima.
"Please don't justify his actions Vandana. He has made my life a living hell." said Riddhima, wiping her tears.
"I'm coming in... and this should not be considered an intrusion." they heard someone say from the door. Riddhima looked at the door and found Anurag walking into the room with a bouquet of roses in his hands. Riddhima's brows furrowed.
"What are you doing here and Haww....!!!!!" Riddhima literally jumped out of her bed and slapped him hard across his face. Vandana gasped loudly.

Anurag was literally taken by surprise. He glared at her for slapping him so hard on his cheek, trust me he felt a stinging pain on his face.
"Ouchhh!!! What's wrong with you!!!" he yelled at her, rubbing his cheek. Riddhima glared at him fiercely.
"Dusht!!!! How dare you bring me flowers!!!! I'm your brother's wife and you...."
"Hey hold on hold on!!!!! Who the fuck told you that I got you these flowers??" he asked, a bit shocked. Riddhima glared hard at him.
"Then what are you doing with these flowers you pervert!!!!" she yelled at him. He watched her tiredly. Like he just was so done with her. How could his brother control his temper around her!!! She's purely irritating.
"Listen here woman, these flowers are sent by your husband. He's not in the house and that's why he asked me to hand these to you. Understood. Now think twice before ever slapping me again." he told her irritated. Riddhima wasn't believing him.
"You're a compulsive liar..."
"So am I but Bhabhi ji I do not have enough money to buy even a chewing gum so buying you a luxurious bundle of flowers is simply off limits for me. Besides, why would I buy you flowers??? Knowing full well that my elder brother is crazy obsessed with you, why would I want to invite my own death by giving you flowers???" he said, cursing inaudibly.

Riddhima gasped when she realised she had hit him for no reason. But that's ok, he deserved it.
"Are you sure!!" she still confirmed. He rolled his eyes.
"There's a little note attached to the bouquet, why not read it and find out by yourself." he told her curtly as he stamped the bouquet on the bed and left.
"He's a clown, don't mind him." Vandana told her. Riddhima knew it already.
"Should I read it???" she asked Vandana who obviously nodded. She huffed and picked up the bouquet which smelled heavenly. The note was very small. She expected a letter but that's ok, a note is not bad when your husband hated writing stuff owing to the bad handwriting.
"Sorry if I hurted you. Just don't be mad at me.

Love
Your lover (Husband)" a smile formed on her lips. It was cute don't lie. However when she realised that she shouldn't be smiling because he had forcefully married her, she closed the note and threw the bouquet on the bed.
"I love tulips more." she said. Vandana huffed.

In the night he returned from somewhere. And he immediately went to his room, ignoring Natasha washing the dishes in the kitchen. He didn't kill Natasha, just reduced her to a maid. Vandana was still inside the room when he went in. Riddhima quickly looked away, too scared to even look at him. Vandana quietly left as she knew they needed some time alone. Vikramaditya for a second just admired her sitting on his bed wearing a simple churidar kurta and leggings. Her chikankari dupatta hanging from one of her shoulders. She looked so pious and beautiful. Her simplicity was what he loved the most. He hated those fake painted women. In his eyes she was perfect. Absolutely perfect. However something caught his attention and he frowned. He walked over to the small cabinet, grabbed a pinch of vermilion and made his way to the bed. Turning her face towards him, he filled the vermilion on her forehead.
"That's perfect." he whispered, admiring how beautiful she looked with the vermilion. She turned her face away, not wanting to answer. He sighed deeply.
"I don't know how else to apologise apart from saying sorry. I do not have any experience in apologising. I've never said sorry to anyone, you're only one I've ever apologised so sincerely to." he told her honestly.
"Thank you so much. Now what should I do??? Dance." she snapped at him.
"I'd prefer strip tease." he muttered under his breath.
"What did you say??" she asked confused. He cleared his throat. Surely he didn't wanted to get slapped from her.
"Um nothing.....well I got you something. Just a sec..." He said as he stood up and went over the closet.

He opened the closed and lifted out a heavy garment. It was a deep red bridal lehenga and God it looked so beautiful. And let's not forget that it was ridiculously expensive.
"Here. This is for you." he told her, keeping the lehenga in her hands. She looked up at him in confusion.
"What do I do with this??" she asked. He chuckled.
"Well um we are throwing our wedding reception party tomorrow, ok. So you'll wear this and please tell me what should I wear because I am absolutely confused. Like I don't know what to wear, I wanted to keep like matching outfits for us but... I thought the bride looks best in red and will at no cost wear a red suit. So please help me dear." he told her. She gasped loudly.
"But why do we need to throw a reception party??" she asked. He drew in a breath.
"Well, firstly because I want everybody to know that you are mine and secondly, there's a tinsy winsy problem..." he said. Riddhima looked at him in shock.
"What problem??" she asked concerned. He cleared his throat and looked up at the ceiling.
"I-I may have a friend, to whom I said nothing about us. And she comes to know..."
"She's a girl..." she interjected. Vikramaditya looked at her and smiled. Typical of woman.
"Yeah, um we've been friends since college. She's my sister you know kind of. So, she comes to know about us and I SWEAR I'LL KILL THAT MOTHERFUCKER WHO TIPPED HER OFF, but...." he took a deep breath and continued "she finds out and now I am recieving assassination threats." he told her. Riddhima gasped as she shifted closer to him, worried for his life.
"Somebody's trying to kill you." she asked, afraid. He looked at her and smiled.
"Not somebody but she. She'll literally hew down my neck. And therefore I had no choice but to throw a grand party just to calm her down. Besides, I have pretty much visited and ate at my friends' weddings..... I need to return the favour right." he told her. Riddhima looked at him tiredly.
"You nearly scared me. I thought somebody was really after your life. Next time please choose your words carefully." spoke she disgruntled. Boys just say anything without thinking what the other person might think or feel. She was so scared for him. He looked at her, a smirk resting on his handsome face.
"Why?? Do you care for me??" he asked, his eyes filled with passion. Riddhima was speechless as she looked into his eyes. Does she care for him?? Now she was asking it to herself.
