okay, i'm going to expose myself and say i never finished reading the harry potter books. i was reading them as i wrote each chapter of intrinsic. so, i've only planned the general idea of the rest of this book:
• as things began to build up between voldemort's return, stella would be hiding more and more things from draco
• she was so afraid of becoming just like her mother
• as stella began to distance herself away from him, draco was getting worried that he was losing her
• he started acting out more against her siblings — taunting ron in the hallways and making fun of the twins during meals
• when draco joined umbridge's inquisitorial squad, stella immediately notified hermoine
• hermoine concocted a plan to have stella join the inquisitorial squad undercover so stella could help the D.A. know if umbridge was onto them
• when the squad holds the D.A. hostage for questioning, stella betrays draco and commands for the squad to let the D.A. go
• later on, things begin getting worse and worse for stella and draco
• draco reveals to stella of his fate by showing her his mark
• she's heartbroken
• she begs draco to reconsider his fate, but they both know it's already sealed
• stella's torn between what to do — sacrifice herself for the one she loves or fight against the man who took her parents away from her
• she visits her mother for the first time in a while
• seeing her mother completely incapacitated because of her father's decision, stella made her choice
• she told draco she couldn't be with him, especially if he was going to side with voldemort and do his dirty work
• draco reached his breaking point after stella's rejection, and he didn't see a point in fighting against his fate anymore
• draco and stella don't speak for the rest of half-blood prince, and everyone can see how affected the two are by the separation
• do you guys remember that scene they filmed for deathly hallows pt 2 when draco was actually going to help harry? and then they decided to not use it
• i imagined this scene would actually happen in this fic
• especially if draco realized that stella's life was going to be in grave danger if he didn't step in
• his actions prove to the weasleys that he was willing to change
• draco and stella reunite shortly after the war
• there's a lot of heartbreak, obviously, especially with fred's death
• as time passes, the weasleys warm up to draco
• he cuts off his ties with his parents and doesn't want his children to be raised the same way he was
• he has a heart to heart with george one night in the weasley home, asking him how he can raise his child to understand how loved they are
• george finally sees the good in draco that night
• ron still takes a lot more convincing
• draco and stella bring scorpius into the world and draco loves him with all of his heart
• i wanted them to have more kids because i think stella would've wanted a big family like the weasleys
• overall, draco would have felt love like he never had before
• being invited to every weasley gathering — every birthday party, every baby shower, every happy occasion — showed him he could finally have his happy ending
• stella reminded him that he changed his own fate and allowed himself to be happy for once
• all was well

i really fell in love with stella and draco, but their story was always quite difficult to write because of their family circumstances. comment your thoughts!
