penelope, my absolute angel. after jacob and billy enroll her in forks:
• she becomes friends with the cullen family and bella, not knowing who they really are
• she finds alice really sweet and nice, and the two become fast friends
• rosalie can't stand her but penelope doesn't mind
• she gains interest from students in forks because of the cullens's liking to her
• she thinks the cullens are a little odd, but appreciates their friendly gestures
• still won't talk to jared but becomes curious about bella and edward's relationship
• she asks them questions because she's genuinely interested in how boyfriends and girlfriends work
• edward thinks penelope is very amusing
• she finally gets the courage to speak to jared after much prodding from both jacob and bella
• jared confesses that he likes her and wants to be her boyfriend
• penelope confesses that she's scared and doesn't know if they would work well together
• jared reminds her that they've been perfectly happy as friends, and that she shouldn't be scared by the feelings she has for him
• she decides to give it a try with him
• jared's clearly over the moon
• the relationship starts off super slow at first because penelope doesn't feel comfortable taking it too fast
• from the subtle hand holding to small kisses on the back of each other's hands
• jacob wants to throw up but he's also happy that his sister's happy
• penelope still gets dreams about her mother but they're becoming less and less upsetting
• when she discovers who the cullens really are, she's taken aback but she still considers them to be close friends
• jared's a little irked by this
• i didn't have much other conflict planned, mainly that penelope would learn that her feelings for jared were valid and she shouldn't be scared of them
• the two would probably settle in la push after everything is over, and name their firstborn daughter after penelope's mother
