Kinda a really overdue chapter trade with Bloxiegirl123 for her story "Please don't Cry." She's easily my longest and one of my closest friends on this site so please go give her some love!

I think I'm gonna try to make my chapters shorter now... Just so I can try to get them out quicker :)

Anyways... Onwards!!

Ty's POV

"Welcome Home Enderlox..."

I froze at this. There it was. That Notchdammed name!

I felt my eyes darken as I growled in reply "Don't call me that!"

The dragon made a sound that I think somewhat resembled a laugh "You have spirit boy. I'll give you that. But you are wrong. The blood of the end flows through your veins. That is your name now." The dragon's voice was smooth yet bitter, having an almost hypnotic tone to it.

"You mean your blood." I growled, shaking my head, I wouldn't be so easily turned.

The dragon's eyes narrowed "I will not deny that. Notch was a fool to think he could do what he's done without consequences... He had no right to take my blood and use you like that."

I glared at that, really wishing I had my sword "That was my choice for a good cause."

"HA!" The dragon scoffed loudly "A good cause! All he has done is cause utter chaos. While you act like we are the true monsters, we still all hold balance to your previous world. Notch has destroyed that now."

"Previous world?" I demanded "You make it sound like I'm never going back!"

"Back? Don't you get it boy? You are not going back. You cannot leave. Your soul is tied to the End now."

I felt my throat choke up at that "No.... Wh- Who are you? Really?"

The dragon looked me directly in the eyes and spoke in a voice full of pride "I am Ignis, ruler of the End. Soon to be your new leader as well."

I stared "Leader?! No way in hell would I call you my leader! You're a killer! A monster!"

"Are you really going to call me that when you yourself are part dragon?" The dragon asked.

I didn't answer that. What could I say?

The dragon huffed "No matter, you already have had a taste of the true power you hold. Herobrine showed you a glimpse of that."

I growled "That isn't me. I'm not a killer like you and I am especially not a puppet to you."

Laughter filled my mind again as the dragon did so again "You really don't understand do you Enderlox?"

I glared "What are you talking about?"

"You are an Ender now. Your old life is gone. All that matters now is the End."

"You're wrong. My friends-"

"Your friends cannot reach you. The heart is impossible to find, and even if they do, they will never in time. If they value their lives and your own they will have forgotten you by now."

I swallowed and shook my head vigorously to keep my head clear "No... They will... They won't give up... They don't give up on anything!"

"Your loyalty to your friends is admirable. But they are nothing to you now." He hissed in a compelling tone.

I held my head and shook my head with a hiss, glaring at the dragon "My friends are everything me! I will never bow to you or anyone! Stay away from me!" I yelled.

The dragon growled "One way or another Enderlox, you will bow to the End. You are strong but even those with the strongest minds, the strongest wills and the strongest hearts eventually fall. As will you..." And with that final word, Ignis spread his wings and took to the sky with another roar that left my ears ringing.

I watched the dragon disappear into the darkness of the void that surrounded the End before I looked down at my hands. The black scales remained and is anything, looked rougher, more real and in my skin than just in it.

I swallowed and leaned back against the pillar, thinking back on the Ignis' words. 'That is your name now. You cannot leave. Your soul is tied to the End now. You will bow to the End.' The words were almost unreal, this couldn't actually be happening, it couldn't...

But it was... And the scariest part?

I believed him...

*groans and covers face* This chapter is soooooooo bad...

Hands down the shortest one I have ever written...

When I wanted them shorter this is not what I meant...

They will be a little longer than this, I promise!

*sigh*

On the bright side, I got a job at a cinema... So that's a plus...
