Innocent Intimacy

The satin white curtains danced wildly to the tunes of the strong wind, as Anirudh took his steps to bolt the window but instead leaned on the rim with fold hands enjoying the gleam of moon on the pond.

The constant ripples reminded him her unsullied laughter which echoed on all the walls of the haveli including his own inner walls.

It also evoked a past memory when an awful day turned to a serene beautiful moment of his life unexpectedly.

It was a surreal past, a mixture of virtue added with fantasy.

As Anirudh got out of his car after a busy tiring day, though worn out with much excitement took the wrapped banana roll and walked straight.

He was exhilarated for this day as it was the day the nature bore the best of its  creation for him, just for him.
His Bondita. And he wanted to make it special on her turning twelve, he wanted her to cherish the day heartfully also wanted to be the reason behind her smile.

Was first suprised to see the haveli sparkling meticulously highlighted with all possible rich embellishments, thinking it to be his kaka's present for his only beloved bahu walked inside.

Entering in, was welcomed with the glow of chandeliers, colourful curtains hung decoratively with flowers rolled around the pillars gracefully also with the fresh aroma of delicious delicacies from west.

His eyes were in hunt of his queen, queen of his heart.

He smiled at the preparations as priorly he had planned all this but his case hearing falling on same day turned his plans upside down but internally thanked his kaka for making it all special.

Indeed she is special so has her birthday should be too.

But his smile and gratitude all vanished, was extremely startled hearing the ongoing conversations. It fumed him hearing all possible cringy remarks, double meaning talks with no filter, few woman shying in shame while men giggled sipping the sherbet. He felt so raged more than embarassing.

He realized the reason, it was quite obvious from the atmosphere but it was the same day, the people of Tulsipur knew the impulsive nature of their Barrister babu. In seconds, the beautiful haveli was turned into messy, muddled and chaotic because of his haywire.

Petrified would be an understatement, they all were terrified at his outrage. With his ruffled hair, reddened eyes, flinched nose, jaws clenched, veins popped up all over and fingers rolled in ball. He roared at all for the hassle they were overwhelmingly preparing, he felt like a menace or even a demon to them, his screams and bawls had made them judder and shudder that all together left the haveli to save their ears and themselves from his wrath while his kaka sighed in indignation.

It was the day, the people of Tulsipur had decided to stay away from him. Not because, he was Zamindar or Barrister but fearing his uncontrollable fury and spleen when it was about his little wife.

Composing himself, Anirudh asked, "Bondita kaha hai? Batuk"

His little brother who himself not yet recovered, frightenedly showed his hand in a direction leading to the backside of the haveli.

Reaching the far end of the haveli, closed his eyes trying to adjust and react to the  unanticipated sitch.

Puberty, indeed a gift to womanhood and tressure to possess. It was a symbol of their grit. The blood they called impure being the only reason behind every extant. It was not just a sign of woman being creature of the world but also a way for both man and woman to decipher the reason of their existence.

He was astonished as he never thought to face such a phase in his life, his Bondita in pubescence.

Initially, it bewildered him as his little Bondita was no more called little and at the mere age of twelve was forced and persuaded to fulfil the duties of perfect wife though unaware of any such she obliged to all and the reason was him, just for him.

Her tarks were off at his happiness being the only reason as people around convinced her so. His heart crunched at the thought of her devotion to him.

The grand preparations were for him to taint her, her innocence, her childhood, her mind-heart and all her on whole as the society felt it was his right and her duty. The mere fact was that husbands possessed their wifes in all ways which was totally wrong.

"Humesha yese chikne aur chilane ki zaroorat hai kya? Patibabu" as he turned to the voice full of upset to find a silhouette sitting on the top stairs of pond with feet slightly dipped in them.

Composing himself, with smile took long strides to her and before him she stood hastenly and turned towards him making her cream coloured hand knit pashmina fall of her shoulders.

The lantern on ground being the only luminosity, he freezed at the sight his mind long away from the decency and deportment as he gulped gawking at the beauty in front. For a second, believed that his Bondita was no more little and was all ready for him to rumage her with all his love.

Her being decked up with all possible gold ornaments which highlighted her mostly the heavily kohled almond eyes, her hued plump lips and the maroon saree gold bordered which leisurely hung unusually down her hip giving a glance of her navel and primely her off of blouse as just a cloth being wrapped around her blooming bosoms which failed to cover her curves. Indeed his bride.

His mind and heart racing in a battle, his heart triumphantly subjugating all him. He took steps towards her and back hugged her placing his chin on her bare shoulder and his hands wrapped around her waist securely in process covering her navel. Inhaling her tantalizing fragrance of fresh jasmine, he tightened his hold against her while pressing her more to his muscular front.

Soon turned to be a sensual moment as he nuzzled into her open hair, he felt her leaning her head back as wanting to feel him was evident in her quivering body with silent whimpers.

Waves of electricity passing through his body as both dwelled in unknown desire  with absence of all sanity. Unknowingly, as his lips smakered on her neck leaving a rufous mark there, a sign of his love or blunder heard her moan against his ear.

Instantly stumbled back leaving her, her eyes closed, lips slightly parted, heaving bossoms and her fingers on her neck yet she looked like completely ravished. He felt as a miscreant, miserable at giving ways to his ardent desires, a fury against himself as it was her Bondita, her little Bondita atlast and hearing such an arousal moan from her had maddened him again in the battle.

She felt good, strangely good in his arms and their brewing unknown ecstasy had drifted her mind on thinking straight.

As a foreign feeling evaded her senses, the loss of his warmth had triggered her. Stomping her feet alway sat back in the same position though naive at the existence of such passionate moments, the distress was all over her face.

Shooking his head, sat back of her with her back pressed to his front while his hands snaked her waist from behind heard her mewls, fearing that he might have hurt her again. Loosening his hold, called "Bondita."

As thoughts of rejection and descent invaded his mind was startled at her tightening his hold on her waist with her own hands above his.

"Sab kehte hai ki mein achi patni nahi hoon apko kabhi kush nahi dhi joh mera kartavya hai." She said with wails.

Now, as he rested his chin on her adorned head, his legs capturing hers, his grip on her waist tightened more slightly brushing her bossoms that she trembled yet did not rebuke as she felt the sudden yearn for his touch for the first time in her life.

Breaking her thoughts on the erupting deserted feelings, heard him "tum achi ho, mere pyaari Bondita ho. Aam nahi balki khass ho toh mere Bondita yeh samaj ki bath nahi sunni chahiye na?"

Sighing, tilting her face to him with slight gap between their lips, with sobs she uttered to his eyes "muje samaj ki nahi padi patibabu, par kyun mein aapko kush nahi rakpathi aur aap bhi muje kabhi moka nahi dethe. Kyun? Itni buri hoon kya mein?"

Before him, heard her again "aapko patha hai aaj gaav ki sare aurathen muje chandan se gulab se dhoodh se nehlaya taki mein aapko kush kar paun.. jab aap gar laute muje dekkar kush ho jaye aur hum apni zindagi ki naye padav ley... aapko patha hai meine kitna intezaar kiya aap keliye.... par aap tho."

Cutting her off, he asked "acha, agar intna hi intezaar kiya kyun wahan nahi thi sabke sath?"

Scrunching her nose, she replied "kyunki jab aapne chikne chilane shuru kiya tabi mein samaj gayi woh sare log joh bhi kar rahe the, woh galath hai. Galath hai mere sath, humare sath."

Smiling, raising his brows asked "yesa kyun?"

Turning back to face the pond and partially leaning on him, she said "kyun ki mein janthi hoon, jab bhi mere sath kuch galath hora tha tabhi aap yese rakshas ka roop daran karke sabko darayenge. Kaka sasoorji ko bhi."

Grinning at her determined answer with confident tone, he softly caressing her fingers spoke "sach Bondita, yeh sare log joh bhi kar rahe hai woh galath hai unyaay hai tere sath" his own eyes shredding "aur maaf karo muje, yeh sab ka Karan bhi mein hi hoon."

Wriggling herself from his hold, brought up her hands cupping his face, she said with much faith "nahi, kabhi nahi aap mere sath ho rahe galath ki Karan nahi ban sakthe. Kyun ki aap mere bagwan hai aur bagwan kabhi aapne bakth ke sath unyaay kar saktha hai kya nahi na?

His face lit up at her words as she placed her right palm over his left chest, though electrified him again heard her as she   continued "mein, yahaan aapki dil mein basthi hoon. Aur jab mein itni surakshit Jagah mein basthi hoon toh kya mere sath kuch galath ho saktha kya?"

Her eyes full of reverence and burried fervent as his eyes longed more for her words also touch to heal him.

"Bondita, yeh sab galath hai kyunki yeh sab tumhare Umar ke liye sahi nahi upar se tumhare jasbathon ka bhi kadher honi chahiye. Tumhe khood faisla leni chahiye tumhare liya woh bhi aab nahi jab tum aur badi ho jayegi." He said in a flow careful enough to not to mention about their ful-soja.

As she blinked her eyes in approval heard him "aur tuje... patha hai wahan kis liye tayaariyon ho rahi thi? Woh... woh" she spoke, "jab aapne kaha abhi mein choti hoon un sab keliye toh tabhi janungi jab sahi samai ho aur toh aap hai na muje samajane ke liye? Kyun?"

As he nodded, asked "aur Bondita, tuje patha hai muje kiski khoshbu achi lagthi hai?" As her eyes viewed him, excitedly "tumhari, meri Bondita ki khooshbu, tumhe kuch lagane ki zaroorat hi nahi jab tum bilkul phool ki tarah mehakthi ho. Shayadh ussey bhi achi." She dropped her eyes to his chest instantly.

Rolling her fingers on his buttons, asked "kya aapki phus phus se bhi jyadha?"

Grinning at her comparison, hummed "mere phus phus se bhi jyadha sab se jyadha."

Seeing her shy for the first time, it ignited his insides. Her shy for him.

Instantly unwrapping the banana roll, caught hold of the jasmine beautifully weaved on thread, he instantly adorned her hair by wrapping it around her free hair, he whispered "janam din ki bahut sari shubkamnaye, Bondita" while she beamed in euphoria.

"Aur muje kush karene ki bath tho, tum ek pyaari si muskaan dey sakthi ho taki mere dil kushiyon se bar jaye." He said eyeing her.

As she smiled melting his heart just like a ice kept in room temperature was startled as she pushed him down with hands on his chest.

When about to retort, found her hovering on him, his mind completely blank as his hands snaked her waist strongly holding her on top of him to prevent her fall. Though still distance existed between them saw her cupping his face and pressing her lips on his forehead, a smooch to which both closed their eyes at the moment.

And before him gauging, she placed her head on his stomach as he lay horizontally while she lay vertically on him, unaware of the fire she ignited in him.

Looking up, dozely uttered "chand kitni khoobsoorat hai na? Patibabu"

He instantly replied, "par mere chandini se jyadha nahi."

Expecting her to answer, obseverd her as she peacefully dozed off on him with their fingers till entwined. He smiled at her.

As they both lay on the harsh ground instead of flower clad bed, it surely made  him realise that anywhere in this world is a heaven with her beside.

The memories adruptly stopped finding a known silhouette near the pond as the feet dipped in water, head bowed down in deep agony.

Unknowingly his feet took long strides towards it,
