ENDEARING HAS OFFICIALLY HIT 10K READS!!!!! OH MY GOD!!!! I'M LOSING MY MIND!!!

thank you so much for all the love and support. i'm so happy that you guys seem to love emma and arareid as much as i do. i never expected this story or any story of mine to do so well. to see this reach 10k reads...it's amazing. i'm honestly tearing up. this means so much to me.

i wrote this story over the course of a year, i think. i remember sitting in the back of my physics classroom with my best friend jordan, craning my computer towards her so she could read the rough draft of my spencer reid fic. she's supported this story from the start. i thought she was going to be the only one to read this. i'm so glad i was wrong.

i was also going through a lot while writing this. i think in some of the author's notes i mentioned that i was in a mental health program for a decent amount of this story. i vividly remember sitting in process with my therapy group and talking about the chapter i had to upload when i got home (chapter thirteen.) i'm still so impressed with myself that i pushed through and finished this story.

oh, here's a fun fact: i'm proud of this story but not at the same time. i very much dislike how it ended. i feel like i rushed the ending a bit and that the show characters were very out of character. i originally wanted the final chapter/epilogue to be really cheery and cute with the whole gang having a family dinner include the long lost sister, but it came out a lot darker and i'm not very happy with that, but despite all my insecurities and doubts and problems i found and/or created within or regarding my story, you guys showed me so much support. i can't thank you enough for that.
