Lilith was loving karate and was surprisingly really startling to like Johnny Lawrence despite his out of pocket comments.

For class today, the students were practicing their punches while Johnny walked around the room to correct any of their mistakes. Since they were facing the mirror, Lilith tensed a little when she noticed Johnny making a bee line towards her.

When he got to her, he tapped his foot next to her back leg. "Keep your balance, full rotation when you strike." He said and Lilith nodded. "Yes, Sensei!"

As Johnny turned to walk away, the boy standing beside Lilith flinched. Johnny eyed the boy, leaning a little closer to him. "Did you just flinch, Virgin?" Johnny whispered but the boy didn't answer. Johnny looked to the kid behind him and threw a fake punch. When that boy flinched, Johnny gasped.

"Holy shit, we got a room full of flinchers!"

"Yes, Sensei!"

"That was not a question!" Johnny yelled, starting to walk up to the front of the class. He looked over all of his students. "Raise your hand if you've never been punched in the face." He asked and watched as only Miguel, Aisha, Lilith, Jake, and two other kids raise their hands.

Miguel looked at Lilith with wide eyes, seeing her raise her hand in the reflection of the mirror. He turned to face her since they were standing right next to each other and looked at her in shock. "You've been punched in the face?"

Lilith laughed, turning to face Miguel. "I went to an all girls boarding school, you think there weren't fights?" She asked.

"Put your hands down." Johnny snapped, pulling Miguel and Lilith out of their conversation. "All your lives, you've been avoiding fights so you don't break your nose or lose a tooth. This concussion nonsense. So there's only one solution, and that is before you leave this dojo, each and every one of you is going to take a punch, very hard, to the face."

Lilith frowned at Johnny's conclusion, but when he turned to her and Aisha and pointed at them, she felt a little more relieved. "Miss Robinson, Queen of England, line them up. Unflinch this group."

The two girls nodded and bowed, moving to stand beside him. "Yes, Sensei." They said, turning to face the class as Johnny walked towards his office.

Miguel figured that since he has already been punched in the face before, he didn't need to line up to have Lilith or Aisha hit him. He followed Johnny to his office nervously and fiddled with his fingers as he stood at the edge of the mans desk. "Hey, Sensei, I need to ask you something."

Johnny, who was too busy opening his beer, nodded his head to the drawers beside him. "First aid's under the counter if we get a bleeder." He said and Miguel quickly shook his head.

"No. This is about something else." Miguel scrambled over his words, making Johnny look up at his with raised eyebrows. He had to hold back a laugh at the nervous look on the boys face and nodded for him to sit down in front of him. "What is it?"

Miguel sighed as he took the the seat across the desk from Johnny. "Well, I really like Lilith. And... I mean, I want to ask her out, but I just don't know how." Miguel shrugged out, looking up at Johnny just as the man scoffed.

"Don't know? What's there not to know?" Johnny asked, waving his beer around. Miguel opened and closed his mouth, too many possibilities of Lilith rejecting him circling in his head. "Well, what if I don't do it well and she says no?" He asked.

Johnny sighed at the boys words and gave him a small frown. "Miguel, the moment I saw that girl look at you, I knew she had a thing for you." He pointed to the door that led to where Lilith was, continuing to look at Miguel. "She still has that look in her eyes when she looks at you."

Miguel licked his lips, his nerves still coursing through him. "But what if she says no?"

Johnny pushed himself out of his seat and stood up. He walked towards Miguel and looked down at him. "There's no way she's gonna say no. Not only does she already think you're cute, but you're a Cobra Kai. Everyone wants to date a Cobra Kai." He said before he suddenly chuckled and whacked Miguel's arm. "Hell, you do since you want to ask her out."

Slowly, Miguel started to finally listen to his sensei's words. He thought back to all of his moments with Lilith since the start of the school year and he noticed she did look at him differently than she did Jake, Hawk, or Demetri.

He looked up at Johnny, his nervousness now washed away, his face carrying a confident smile. "Thank you, Sensei."

...

When class ended, Lilith and Aisha changed into their regular clothes in the bathroom while all of the boys got to change in the back room. Lilith packed away her things into her bag and slipped on her shoes as the boys slowly started to trickle out of the backroom

Jake and Hawk were the first out, Lilith being their ride and knowing that she would gladly leave without them if they took too long.

The three of them grabbed their things, said goodbye to Aisha, and walked towards Lilith's car in the parking lot.

Lilith clicked the unlock button on her keys when they were about two cars away from hers. As Jake and Hawk ran towards the passenger side to fight for shotgun, a voice from behind Lilith made her stop.

"Lilith! Wait!"

Lilith turned around and smiled at an out of breath Miguel jogging up to her. "Hey, Miguel. What's up?"

Miguel tried to catch his breath, swallowing to try and help out his dry throat, but he was struggling. Lilith noticed and grabbed her water from her tote bag, handing it to him. He muttered a small "thank you" before taking a big sip.

He felt a lot better and handed Lilith her water bottle back to her. As she put her water back in her bag, Miguel took a deep breath to calm his nerves. It might not be the best place to ask her out, but this was the confident he'd feel and he didn't want to lose that feeling.

"Are you free tomorrow night?" He asked and Lilith squinted as she thought about it. "Uh..." She muttered as she pulled her phone out of her pocket to check the calendar app, not remembering the date.

Miguel's foot tapped anxiously as he waited for her answer and when she smiled and looked back up at Miguel, he instantly felt better. "Yeah, I'm free."

Miguel licked his lips and gave Lilith a nervous smile. "Well... would you want to hang out?" He asked and Lilith's eyebrows came together at middle. She looked to her car, where Hawk sat in the passenger seat and Jake in the backseat.

"Just the two of us?" She asked, turning to look back at Miguel. Her voice was quiet but Miguel could see the smile she was fighting to have on her face.

"Yeah, just the two of us." Miguel said, nodding his head as his smile grew, feeling a surge of confidence suddenly hit him. "Like a date."

Lilith's heart practically rammed out of her chest at Miguel's words. She no longer fight to hide her smile as she felt her face start to heat it. "I would love that." She said, making Miguel's eyes widened and his jaw drop in excitement.

"Really?" He asked and Lilith laughed, nodding her head. "I would love to go on a date with you, Miguel."

Miguel opened and closed his mouth in shock, his smile so big, it was starting to hurt. He blinked a couple times at Lilith before he nodded his head frantically. "Great! I'll pick you up at 6?" He asked and Lilith tilted her head tauntingly.

"You don't have a car." Lilith muttered and Miguel dropped his head, an embarrassed laugh leaving his lips. Lilith smiled at the boy, taking a small step towards him. "So... I'll pick you up."

Her words made Miguel's knees go weak. He looked back up and froze at his and Lilith's closeness. If they moved any closer to each other, their noses would be touching. He smiled as he felt his face start to heat up and he quickly nodded his head.

"Perfect." He said and Lilith smiled. She rose to her tip toes and kissed Miguel's cheek. The boy was frozen when she stood back properly and smiled at Miguel. "I'll see you tomorrow."

She started to walk back to her car, Miguel's eyes glued on her. "Yeah... I'll see you tomorrow." He muttered after her, almost starstruck over Lilith.

She climbed into the car and threw her tote bag to the backseat beside Jake. When she turned to look back to the front, she noticed both Jake and Hawk looking at her with wide eyes.

"And what was that?" Hawk asked, a small smirk on his face as he noticed Lilith's blush on her face. Lilith couldn't stop smiling as she shook his head and shrugged, not looking the boys in the eyes. "Nothing..." She said, lying right through her teeth.

She looked back to boys and smirked. "I just have a date."

At her words, Hawk and Jake screamed, Hawk jumping over the center console to pull her into a hug while Jake wrapped his arms around her and her seat from behind, only making the girl happier.

...

The next day at karate training, Lilith sat in Johnny's office calling any phone numbers she could to get Cobra Kai to compete in the All Valley.

As she flipped through a magazine to find the right phone number, Lilith looked up at Johnny with furrowed eyebrows and a confused smile. "Why am I the only one helping you make these calls?" She asked and Johnny, who was mindlessly scrolling on his laptop, looked to the girl and smirked.

"Because... you're the most reasonable. Plus, if they hear your accent they might think you're someone important." He said, nodding his head to her before going back to his computer.

Lilith rolled her eyes and looked back down at the magazine. Finally finding the right phone number, Lilith started to dial it. Out of the corner of his eyes, Johnny watched the girl with a knowing smirk.

In the main room, Miguel, Hawk, Jake, and Aisha all sat in a circle, stretching and discussing Miguel and Lilith's upcoming date. Miguel asking Johnny for help distracting Lilith so she wouldn't be around be around to hear anything.

"I need somewhere romantic, but not too romantic." Miguel said and Jake watched as Hawks eyes practically sparkled. Hawk looked up to Miguel, a big smirk on his face.

"You could take her to get tattoos." Hawk said and Jakes eyes widened as Aisha and Miguel squinted.

"What?" Miguel asked. Hawk stood up and started to untie his gi. "I know a guy, just hooked me up with this bad boy." He ripped off the top part of his gi and spun around, showing off his hawk tattoo across his back.

Jake's jaw fell. "Oh!" He muttered as Aisha gasped. "That is badass." She breathed out. Hawk turned back to the three, shrugging his shoulders as if it were nothing. "Right? 14 hours in the chair." He looked into the reflection on the wall across from him and flexed.

"How are your parents okay with that?" Jake asked and Hawks cocky demeanor fell in seconds. He struggled to meet anyone's eyes and cleared his throat. "Oh, they have no idea. Definitely going to have to wear a T-shirt until college. Probably longer. Please don't tell them." He rambled in a mutter before he sat back down next to Jake.

Jake turned to Miguel, finally going back on topic. "I would just like to go back on topic and veto Hawks suggestion." He said, making Hawk's jaw drop, offended by Jake's words.

Jake ignored him, keeping his eyes on Miguel. "Lilith hates needles. She doesn't want any tattoos." Jake said and Miguel nodded.

"Okay, any other suggestions?" He asked, looking to specifically Aisha.

The girls eyes widened and she quickly shook her head, scooting away from Miguel. "Don't look at me. Lilith and I are still growing as friends. Jake's the one that knows her the most." She said, pointing to the boy across the circle from her.

All eyes then turned to Jake and his cheeks pinked at the attention. "Oh! Um..." He muttered, trying to remember what Lilith said she'd like as a first date when the two of them and Moon talked about it.

After a couple seconds, he turned to Miguel, a small smile growing on his face. "She likes really simple but fun. She told me if a first date could literally be just playing Mario Kart, she'd be happy."

Miguel smiled at Jake's words. He had Mario Kart. It was perfect. He looked to Jake and slowly nodded his head. "I could work with that."

"Banned? What are you talking about? No, you don't ban me. I'll ban you!" Johnny's voice echoed from his office. Miguel looked at his three friends with wide eyes before he shot off the ground and ran into the office.

"Sensei, Lilith, what's going on?" Miguel asked, looking between the two frantically. He noticed the startled expression on Liliths face as she looked up at him and he slowly took a protective step towards her.

"There's a lifetime ban on Cobra Kai from entering the tournament." Lilith said before she looked at the man across the desk from her and pointed at him. "Sensei heard me talking to the President of the thing and snatched the phone out of my hand."

Miguel looked back and forth between Lilith and his sensei before taking the seat beside Lilith. "What, how is that fair?" He asked and Johnny scoffed, shaking his head.

"It's not. There's nothing I can do about it." He muttered sadly.

Miguel's jaw clenched and he straightened up in his seat. "What happened to never accept defeat?" He asked as Johnny scoffed, waving the boy off. "That was girl advice. This is different, this is the real world. There are rules." He said.

Liliths eyebrows shot up, partially amused and partially offended by her sensei's words. She looked to Miguel beside her and playfully held back a laugh. "Excuse me?" She asked and Miguel frantically shook his head.

"I'll explain later." He whispered before he turned back to Johnny. "Since when do you care about the rules?" He asked before he abruptly shot out of his seat and stood over the man. "We don't take no for an answer. You said that, you've got to fight this."

Johnny nodded his head, Miguel words actually hitting him. He stood up in his chair and walked around his desk so he was beside Miguel and Lilith. "You know what? You're right. I'm going to go down there."

Lilith and Miguel smiled, Lilith getting out of her seat as they both nodded at the man. "Yeah." They said, egging him on.

"And beat their asses." Johnny said and immediately, both Miguel and Lilith's smiles dropped.

"Oh, no." Lilith muttered as Miguel started to shake his head frantically. "What, no, that's not what I meant. I'm saying maybe there's a more delicate approach, Sensei?"

Johnny scoffed. "The way of the fist is not delicate. Cobras are not delicate." He spat and Miguel opened and closed his mouth in shock.

Trying to save Miguel, Lilith quickly corrected the boy. "Okay, yeah, sorry. Forget delicate. Maybe there's a smarter way to fight back?" She suggested.

Miguel and Johnny stared at the girl, Miguel watching her in awe at her quick thinking and Johnny nodding his head, liking where she was going.
