1. you can put feelings into dialogue with having to add a "they grinned" or "she said with tears in her eyes" to your dialogue. a stutter, breaking off from the dialogue, your word choice, and even your punctuation choice can put different meanings into dialogue

2. on wattpad we have a fantastic luxury of being able to italicize and bold text!! if you can pick key words in a sentence or dialogue to italicize or bold then you effect how a reader reads the words adding attitude/tone to your writing!!

3. It's okay if your dialogue sounds awkward. Writing dialogue is the hardest for me because for me speaking aloud is super hard. Not only do I stutter but there's so much anxiety packed into my 5'2 person that I overthink my words and mess up. remember: dialogue is the one thing in your writing that doesn't have to be perfect!!
