"You almost killed him, Ash!" Claudia yelled at me, she seemed pissed as hell.

"He could've killed us! Landon stabbed a hole through the roof of the red monster truck with a giant, black sword and he was acting extremely creepy! The way he said 'Good Morning' was extremely creepy and murder-like! I didn't mean to make a fireball appear and almost roast him!" I yelled back, tears forming in my eyes from frustration. This is the 5th time me and Claudia argued about this.

Landon was unconscious in the truck, which was good for us. He had this look on his face that seemed like the look a murderer would have when they catch their victim, or victims, before he fell unconcious from using that smoke screen to take the hit from the giant fireball I used on impulse. Jake was busy fixing the tire on the truck and Hanna was helping him, which is also good because they work really quickly.

"I'll tend to Landon. Luckless, why don't you come help?" Claudia said, walking over to the truck with Luckless behind her.

I had to tell everyone about mine and Landon's magic after what they all witnessed. Hanna, Claudia, and Luckless all looked sorta surprised while Jake and Dylan looked intrigued by the idea of me being able to burn stuff with a ball of fire and being able to create, use, and manipulate fire easily. Dylan and I were the only ones left near the tree we all sat under when I told them about the magic and stuff. It was so hard to tell them when I told Landon not to.

"Are you, are you, coming to the tree. They strung up a man they say who murdered three, strange things did happen here. No stranger would it be
If we met at midnight on the hanging tree." I sang quietly, tears rolling down my cheeks. Its the first time i cried since the world ended, I was so frustrated that I just started crying.

"Ash, are you ok?" Dylan asked me, placing his hand on my shoulder.

I wiped away the tears and layed down. I couldn't stop the tears from coming. I started thinking about my now deceased family and how I wasn't there to protect them or anything. How everyone's in danger because of me. How all hell has broken lose and I can't stop it, I can't stop anything, those thought made it harder to stop crying so the tears kept coming, falling down my cheeks like rivers flooding. I soon curled up into a ball on the ground, trying to hide my face from the destroyed world that I now live in and everyone who thinks that I'm strong and that I don't cry and that I can take anything, even bullshit, from the people who hate me for being me.

"Ash, don't cry. It's gonna be alright." I heard Dylan say as someone hugged me.

He had placed me on his lap and I looked up at him" I felt safe right there for some reason. I heard something stir in a leaves and branches of the tree that we're under and that's when I saw it. Blood red eyes staring at me like whatever owned those eyes was going after me, most likely it's prey.

Dylan looked where I was looking and the eyes slowly started to move towards him, I could tell they wanted to take over his body. I hid my face in Dylan's shoulder and willed the blood red eyes of the demon to go away and leave Dylan alone. I felt someone rubbing my back and when i looked back up, I was looking Dylan in the eye. His eyes were slowly turning blood red and he had a wicked smile on his face.

"Leave Dylan alone." I whispered, the tears had stop.

"Why should I? He's in my way." Dylan whispered back, the Demon has taken complete control of him now.

I thought quickly and decided to risk myself for my friends.

"Don't hurt anyone else. I'll be yours if you make that promise and not break it." I whispered to the demon-controlled Dylan.

"As you wish." Was all the Demon said before Dylan was back to normal.

"What just happened?" He asked.

I got up quickly and grabbed my swords, which were leaning against the tree, and walked over to the truck. Luckless and Claudia saw me and they walked up to me with some medicine and bandages.

"Landon's still unconscious and he has no burns whatsoever!" Claudia exclaimed.

"How is that possible? I mean, he should have gotten some kind of burn from that fireball!" Luckless exclaimed, looking confused.

"He used a smoke screen to stop the fireball from hitting him." I said.

"A smoke screen?" Luckless and Claudia asked.

"Landon has dark magic. He can teleport through shadows, which is called shadow-walking or something else. Landon can also summon Skeletal Soldiers to fight for, or with, him, he can also summon a sword with a black blade and hilt." I told them.

"Landon has dark magic, like evil dark magic or good dark magic?" Claudia asked.

"Both." I stated, I wasn't sure if it was good or evil magic.

"Are you able to summon creatures and swords and travel like that?" Luckless asked.

"I'm still trying to figure out how to use my swords, dual swords are harder to master than using a single sword." I said.

"Ash! Landon's woken up!" Jake yelled to me, Claudia, and Luckless.

We ran over there and saw that Landon was now on the outside of the truck, leaning against it. I drew and placed one of my swords to landon's neck incase he was going to try to hurt us again. He looked up at me and i lowered my sword and sheathed it. I could tell he wouldn't hurt us unless he felt threatened or he was ordered to by the Demon King.

"Landon, what were you going to do to us when you showed up and almost stabbed me." I questioned Landon.
