Chapter 25
It wasn't until late in the morning that Hyunjin woke up snuggled up close to Felix. Felix's hand lay under his shirt on his chest and Hyunjin couldn't help but smile happily.
He had finally been able to pour out his heart to Felix and yet his best friend was still in his arms.
Yawning, he stretched himself as best he could with Felix in his arms. But when he wanted to gently push him away to get up, Felix wrapped his arms around him and held him tight.
"Don't go away," he mumbled sleepily.
"But I have to go to the toilet, baby," Hyunjin chuckled.
"But you shouldn't go away.
Growling, Hyunjin shifted his weight, turned Felix on his back and was on top of him, even before Felix knew what was happening to him. "I'll be right back, baby." And even though he knew that at some point they would have to stop with it, he pressed his lips to Felix before leaving the bed.
Giggling, Felix hid under the duvet before deciding that it was actually time to get up. He urgently needed a strawberry milk and his stomach growled furiously, which concluded that breakfast wasn't a bad idea.
Unabashedly, he stuck his head in the bathroom and had to grin when Hyunjin turned at least half frightened from the sink to him.
"God, Lix, I thought you were still in bed!"
"I just was. Until I realized that I'm hungry and urgently need a strawberry milk. And I wanted to ask if you want to have breakfast too."
His shock had very quickly turned into amusement, which was why he now turned around with a grin. "I could just eat you."
Satisfied, he noticed that the younger blushed insanely and nervously chewed on his lower lip.
"JINNIE!"
Giggling, Hyunjin turned back to the sink, rinsed the soap and dried his hands.
"I'm sure Minho has said worse to you."
And although Hyunjin had thought that it was impossible for Felix to blush even more, he realized that he was wrong. "No?!"
Almost ashamed, Felix lowered his head and just chewed on his lower lip again. "No... We... I... we haven't..."
Surprised, Hyunjin smiled at him and grabbed his hand. "There's nothing wrong with taking your time, baby."
Felix took a deep breath and nodded. But since the topic was visibly uncomfortable for him, Hyunjin just dropped it and simply pulled him into the kitchen without another comment.
After he had handed Felix his strawberry milk, he pulled him in to his arms and leaned with him against the kitchenette. "What do you think of ramen? At least it's fast."
Thoughtfully, Felix leaned his head against his best friend's shoulder and nodded. "But only if I can cook you a real meal later."
He nods with satisfaction, ruffled through Felix's blue hair and took the ramen out of the cupboard.

They spent the rest of the morning in bed. Watched kitschy love movies that Felix had long wanted to see and munched microwave popcorn.
Both felt incredibly comfortable and enjoyed being close to each other. Enjoyed having time for each other, even though they knew that Hyunjin still had to work later.
"Is Minho picking you up later? Or should I drive you to him?" Hyunjin asks sleepily. Knowing that he had to be awake all night, he made a great effort to fall asleep again.
Felix's eyes lit up at the mention of his boyfriend and he smiled dreamily. "We haven't even talked about it yet. If you want, I can call him and ask if he's picking me up."
But Hyunjin shook his head tiredly. "His apartment is practically on the way there anyway. I can drive you," Hyunjin murmured, wrapping his arms around Felix's waist.
He snuggled closer to his best friend and buried his hands in the velvety blonde hair and played gently with it.
"Sleep a little, baby. I'll wake you up later when the food is ready," Felix pressed a kiss on Hyunjin's forehead, smiling and played with his hair until he could be sure that the older had fallen asleep.
Satisfied, he pressed another kiss on Hyunjin's hair before carefully freeing himself from the elder's arms and crawling off the bed.
He was a little worried about his best friend, so he did the only thing he could think of was to feel better and help Hyunjin.
After feeding the kittens, he put Hyunjins and his laundry in the washing machine and began to clean up the apartment. He hoped very much that Hyunjin would sleep for a while, because he knew how hard the night shifts were for him.
But after the apartment was tidy and clean and Hyunjin was still asleep, he realized that he had nothing left to do and was bored.
Sighing, he grabbed the two kittens and went with them to the living room. But on the sofa it wasn't necessarily comfortable and there was no more a cuddly blanket in the living room.
After spending a fabulous ten minutes on the sofa, he got up, lifted the kittens back up and carried them into the bedroom.
Hyunjin was still asleep, which is why Felix carefully crawled under the blanket and then placed the kittens in front of him. One of the two felt disturbed by being carried around and jumped out of bed, but the other snuggled up to Felix.
And Hyunjin also seemed to have noticed that Felix was back, because he wrapped his arms around him and buried his face in his hair.
"Hi baby," he muttered sleepily.
"Hi handsome. Please continue to sleep."
But Hyunjin was absolutely not in the mood to continue sleeping. Even though he knew he would regret it later in the night, he opened his eyes and looked at Felix.
"I really like the blue hair," he murmured and played with a strand that hung loosely from Felix's ponytail.
"Thank you. I like it too. Minho helped to dye it."
Sighing, Hyunjin hung up on his thoughts for a moment before answering.
He had blonde hair for ages and was so used to it that he couldn't remember what he looked like with a different hair color. But if Chan would want to dye his hair, he would let him do it without hesitation.
"You guys are really cute together. I'm glad he's treating you so well!" murmured Hyunjin and had to yawn.
Felix didn't answer. He just smiled happily and painted circles with his finger on Hyunjin's chest dreamily.
Cuddled close to each other, they both fell asleep again, although that was definitely not planned.
Only when both kittens sat in front of them and meowed miserably, they startled out of their sleep and realized how late had gotten.
Almost panicked, Felix jumped out of bed. "You get ready and I'll cook something quickly!"
"You really don't need to, baby. I can also buy something on the way."
"No objection!"
Sighing, Hyunjin shrugged his shoulders, pushed the duvet aside and sat up.
A look in the mirror revealed that the long time in bed had definitely not done his face any good. It was swollen and under his eyes were deep, dark circles.
"Oh God, I look like a monster," he gasp theatrically and sat down at his desk. Because even if he rarely wore makeup, there was a smaller mirror, foundation and concealer. And today he would definitely need that.
Most of the time he didn't wear makeup to work. But with the prospect of spending at least part of the night with Chan and the fact that he felt absolutely terrible without it, he would make an exception today.
Just when he was almost done, Felix came back into the bedroom and grinned at him. "You look cute. If you want, I'll braid your hair while you eat."
He could hardly believe that Hyunjin actually blushed and nervously bit his lower lip. "Yeah, please."
Giggling, Felix dragged the elder with him and pressed him on one of the chairs. Concentrated, he set out to create a cute hairstyle from the mess of blonde hair.
"Done. I packed you some food eat for the night. And two energy drinks are in the fridge."
Hyunjin, who had already finished eating, pulled him onto his lap and put his arms around him. "Thank you, baby!"
Felix nodded in satisfaction and snuggled up against him for a moment. Only until he realized that he was about to see Minho, but the few minutes belonged to them.
