Nathan was in the limo, gasping for air in the only air bubble that was left on the roof of the limo. 

"HELP! Help me!"Nathan gasped to himself as he panicked. He was drowning. "Claudia!" He called out. "Oh, God." Nathan muttered to himself panicking.  Claudia was a in panic. She was on her knees on the bridge looking down into the river.  

"NATHAN! Cooper!" Claudia called out. Nathan could hear Claudia's voice in his air bubble that was beginning to fill up.  " Nathan!" Claudia cried as she continued to look down into the water. "HEEEEELP!" Claudia shouted as she looked out on the deserted road. "SOMEBODY PLEASE  HEEEEEEELP!" Claudia screamed as loud as she physically could. She stood up and looked around her frantically. The beloved cracker jack bracelet was floating in the water as Nathan tried to reach it. However, his hand and the bracelet separated. Nathan was running out of air and he let out a bunch of air bubbles.

Lucas was stood next to a gallon of water. He sighed and walked down the hospital corridors. He saw Claudia hugging onto Haley as she cried. He looked at her sympathetically before he walked towards them. Claudia was a mess physically and mentally. Claudia couldn't cope without Nathan. Claudia turned around to see Lucas, she walked up to him and hugged him tightly. Lucas put his arm around both Haley and Claudia and they walked through the halls. They kept walking past, they walked past the hospital clock on the wall that read '2.30'

"My name is Lucas Scott I'm a senior at Tree Hill high school Tree Hill is just a place somewhere in the world maybe it's a lot like your world maybe it's nothing like it  but if you look closer you might see someone like you, or someone like my best friend, Claudia. If you're married, a senior in high school and not sure if your husband is still alive ... then I'd say your world is a lot like Claudia's Today was suppose to be the best day of her life ... but it's amazing how things can change in the blink of an eye. Or in this case ... in about 29 minutes ." 

Claudia and Nathan were driving in the same cuddled up position, before the accident, Nathan was laughing. Claudia looked up at him confused.

"What?" Claudia smiled extremely.

"I can't believe that Rachel got drunk and stole our wedding limo." Nathan laughed and Claudia sat up and turned to face him.

"I can't believe that your Uncle Cooper slept with Rachel!" Claudia exclaimed in shock, "she's seventeen." Claudia enunciated. "What is he like thirty?" Claudia asked laughing a little.

"He must not've known. I mean, he couldn't of known." Nathan replied and Claudia did not give him a comforting look. "Right?" Nathan asked and Claudia laughed as the car continued up the road.

Claudia and Nathan were still in the car. Claudia was away to tell him something important when they saw their limo in front of them as they drove to meet Lucas.

"Look out!" Claudia shouted as Nathan stopped the car, however, the limo fell down of the bridge, Claudia and Nathan quickly got out and ran towards the edge.

"That was Cooper. Cooper!" Nathan shouted worried as Claudia held her stomach.

"Cooper!" Claudia shouted.

"Claudia, call 911." Nathan ordered as he walked backwards. Claudia shook her head.

"Nathan, don't you dare." Claudia warned, she was away to be sick. She didn't want Nathan to jump in the pool.

"I love you." Nathan replied and Claudia began to cry.

"Nathan!" She screamed as Nathan dived into the water. There was no answer. "Nathan! Nathan, don't! Nathan! Cooper! Anybody, please help!" Claudia cried out desperately as Nathan was under the water struggling to breathe. "Nathan! Help me!" Claudia screamed as she sat down on the ground and looked over the edge.

"Oh, God, help me! Claudia!" Nathan shouted with his head up the against the roof of the limo. He was struggling to find air and he was also struggling to find a way to get Cooper and Rachel to shore.

"Nathan! Cooper! Help! Somebody, please help! Help me!" Claudia cried out as she looked over the edge. Nathan looked inside the limo through the drivers side, he could see Cooper and Rachel unconscious. He then went through one of the limo windows and swam towards them. Nathan tugged on Cooper for a bit before he tried to pull off his seatbelt which seemed to bee jammed. But Nathan was still able to undo it, he tried to opened the car door but it would not budge. He then tried to carry Cooper but he was running out of air. He let got and swam at the the air bubble to catch some air. He took a deep breath. 

"God! HELP ME!" Nathan gasped for air as Claudia sat at the edge of the bridge and cried. 

"HELP, PLEASE!" Claudia cried out desperately. All of a sudden a car came driving by. Claudia rushed up to it. "Oh! Stop! Stop!" Claudia cried as she signalled for it too stop. The car stopped. "Oh, Luke!" Claudia gasped happy as she tried to open the driver door. Lucas and Karen were in the car and quickly ran out and head to the bridge.  "The limousine--with Cooper--went off the bridge and then--and then Nathan jumped over and he hasn't come up for a really long time." Claudia cried frantically to the mom and son as she tried to explain. They looked over at the murky river and a body floated up head side down. "NATHAN!" Claudia cried thinking the worse.

"Oh, God." Lucas muttered horrified as he took of his jacket. Claudia was a mess.

"NATHAN!" Claudia called out frantically as Lucas dropped his jacket and jumped into the water feet first. The girls screamed horrifically as Lucas jumped in. He swam back up and looked around.  

"Did you call nine--one--one?!" Karen asked loudly as she held onto Claudia's shoulder.

"I did! I called them!" Claudia cried in panic. She walked closer to the edge. "HELP HIM, LUKE!" Claudia exclaimed scared. She covered her mouth and cried as Lucas grabbed a body and dragged it to shore. 

"NATHAN!" Claudia shouted as Lucas pulled the body to shore. He looked at it and saw it was Cooper. He placed Cooper on land and lied him down, stomach side down. 

"IT'S COOPER!" Lucas screamed as he looked around to the river, trying to find Nathan. Claudia looked at the body and felt weak in the knees. Karen ran down to the bridge and kneeled down beside him.  Lucas was swimming and swam into the limo. He saw that Rachel's body was not there anymore. He swam back up to shore. "AAH! I CAN'T FIND HIM!" Lucas groaned screaming and Claudia shook her head.

"WHAT?!" Claudia shouted in complete shock, she was not taking that as an answer.

"I CAN'T FIND HIM!" Lucas groaned, he needed to get Nathan.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! HE'S DOWN THERE!" Claudia screamed worried as she held onto her stomach.

"NO! THE CAR IS EMPTY!" Lucas replied back shouting. He looked around and so did Karen. Lucas swam back under the water. 

"NATHAN!" Claudia called out worried and frightened. She placed a shaking hand on her head. Lucas swam back up.  

"Nathan!" Lucas shouted as he looked around. Then he saw on the other side of the shore- Rachel and Nathan lying down belly side down. Nathan had his arm around her. Lucas mouthed "Oh, my God". "Claudia, DON'T LOOK!" Lucas warned as he swam towards him. Claudia didn't listen and ran to the other side of the bridge so she could see Nathan. 

"Oh, GOD!" Claudia cried as she ran towards them. "NATHAN!" She screamed as Lucas swan towards an unconscious Rachel and Nathan.

Claudia, Haley, Jack and Lucas sat in the waiting room. Haley and Jack were cuddled up on one side and Lucas and Claudia were on the other side. Claudia leaned on his shoulder as they both stared into space.

"Things that take fourteen minutes ... boiling an ostrich egg, Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video, it also takes fourteen minutes to get from the Molina Bridge to Tree Hill hospital In those fourteen minutes, three lives are in the balance . For the rest of us there was nothing to do but wait ... I guess that's why they call it the waiting room."  

"Someone should call Dan." Lucas said expressionless as he stood up. Claudia looked up at him before she looked over at her brother and his girlfriend.

"I should kill you for not listening to me." Claudia stated as the doctor left the room, Nathan had just woken up and Claudia was by his side. "But I love you too much." Claudia smiled as she kissed him on the lips. Nathan smiled weakly at her.

"I love you too." He croaked and Claudia smiled at him. That was all she wanted to hear, that as all she wanted him to say.

"How are you feeling?" She asked as she stroke his cheek comforting, she was still dressed them same way she was at the wedding, however, her hair was a mess. 

"Tired." Nathan replied whispering as Claudia pouted at him. She wasn't leaving him.

"Do you want to talk about what happened down there?" Claudia asked as she stood beside him, hospitals creeped her out all the machinery and patients just scared at her. Nathan shook his head. Lucas ran and in and saw Nathan on the examining bed with Claudia by his side. Lucas handed Claudia his jacket and she wrapped it around her.

"So what? The wedding wasn't enough, you needed even more attention?" Lucas scoffed sarcastically and Claudia smiled. Nathan held his hand out for Lucas.

"Thank you, Luke." Nathan said truthfully as Lucas shook his head. 

"For what?" Lucas asked smirking as Claudia rubbed Nathan's cheek. 

"For saving my life." Nathan replied and Lucas shook his head. Claudia couldn't keep her eyes off of Nathan, she was just so happy to see him.

"I just got Cooper to shore, man, you're the one who saved everybody." Lucas explained but Nathan wasn't buying it. "You're a hero, Nate." Lucas stated and Nathan looked forward, trying to remember. 

Nathan was in the limo that was drowning underwater. He was desperately swimming up to the limo roof to breath for air from the bubble.

"HELP ME!" Nathan screamed as the cracker jack box bracelet floated under the water, Nathan ring hand was furiously pounding on the roof of the limo. "Claudia!" Nathan called out. He then saw Claudia under the water staring like a zombie for a spilt second.

Nathan was still looking away from his wife and brother. Claudia looked at him sad and then she turned to Lucas. He gave her a sympathetic look.

___

Claudia, Nathan, Deb and Dan were all with the doctor looking at Nathan's X-Rays. Claudia looked over at Nathan who was sitting up. Dan hugged his emancipated son.

"How you feeling?" Dan asked as he let go of Nathan. Claudia bit onto her wedding ring finger nervously. 

"I just wanna go home." Nathan sighed and Claudia looked at her husband sympathetically.

"Yeah, sure, I understand." Dan whispered before he turned to face Claudia and Deb."How 'bout you, Claudia? Not exactly the honeymoon planned." Dan asked trying to be civil. Claudia and Deb were standing by the entrance door next to the Doctor who was looking at Nathan's x-rays.

"It's okay, honeymoon can wait." Claudia replied as she placed both arms around herself and hugged herself. Dan smiled. Claudia hated how he was being all civil.

"How's the knee, doctor?" Dan asked the doctor who walked up to Nathan.

"Oh, it'll be fine, just sore for a couple of days but I'd like to run a couple tests if you don't mind." The doctor explained as he patted Nathan's back. 

"Yeah." Dan replied for his son as he helped Nathan stand up. They all started to exit the room, except for Dan. 

"Uh, Deb? Do you have a minute?" Dan asked and Deb stopped. Claudia looked at her for a moment and then she followed Nathan as the doors closed. Claudia helped the doctor by placing Nathan in a wheelchair. Claudia held onto the handles as she pushed the wheelchair into the other room.

Claudia and Nathan enter their apartment, Nathan got released from hospital. Claudia brought in their luggage and her veil as Nathan held the airline tickets. 

"Claude, I can get those." Nathan groaned and Claudia shook her head.

"Nathan, you literally just got out of hospital. You are not doing anything." Claudia laughed as Nathan closed the door behind them. Claudia looked around and noticed the changes in the room, however, she focused on the wall behind the couch. It was a bag mural of the London Bridge and the city, the walls were blue and there was a expensive tall cylinder of glass that was glowing neon blue. It was filled with water and the bubbles were going up. Claudia looked at it in awe.

"I was gonna surprise you when we got back." Nathan said and then he smiled. "It's the London Bridge." Claudia turned around to face him.

"Thank you." Claudia grinned as she placed a hand on Nathan's cheek. After a second or so she dropped her hand back down beside her.

"It's probably good that we didn't go." Nathan stated clearing his throat.  "I mean the wedding wasn't cheap, now we got new furniture to pay for and I can't wait to get those hospital bills especially considering we don't have insurance." Nathan explained groaning as he walked towards the kitchen. He faced the mural and had a flashback from the accident. Claudia walked up to him and rubbed his arm gently. "It's okay, you're safe, you're home now." Claudia whispered comfortingly and Nathan put his arm around her. Claudia looked at him for a moment before they hugged. 

"Hey, um ... before thee accident ... there was something that you wanted to tell me." Nathan stated and Claudia looked down. She actually had two pieces of news but one she was not one hundred percent sure off.

"I ... got accepted to UCLA." Claudia replied as she looked up and smiled. Nathan made a "really?" expression as he looked down at her.

"Wow ... Well I'm happy for you, Claude." Nathan smiled truthfully until he took a deep sigh. "Even though we just spent your tuition money." Nathan added and Claudia sadly groaned as she buried her head into his chest. 

"Mmm, it's all right we'll figure something out, as long as were together." Claudia smiled as she looked up to face. Nathan looked forward and thought to himself.

___

The TV was on and it was showing the limo being pulled out of the river as the phone rang. Nathan who was sat on the couch stared at the TV intensely and it seemed like he didn't even notice the phone ringing.

"Though the car leapt The Molina Bridge and crashed through the guard rail was completely submerged. The occupants of the car were bein driving to." The Anchorman on the TV said. Claudia, hair wet, walked into the living room and answered the phone. She was holding two cups of coffee. 

"Hello?" Claudia said looking annoyed. "I'm sorry, no comment, go bug someone else." Claudia groaned as she hung up the phone and put it back down. She walked up to Nathan and sat on the couch with him.  "The hardest days seem to last the longest." Claudia said as she sat on the couch and leaned back."Is it possible we only renewed our wedding vows this morning." Claudia continued as Nathan did not bother to look away from the TV.

"It was like another life ago." Nathan replied monotone as he watched on TV the limo being pulled out of the water.   

"Mr. Lee and Miss Gatina ... some viewers will recall that Nathan's Heroism, also at the center of a tragic." The Anchorman continued to say in the background. Claudia noticed how it was getting to Nathan so she sympathetically put her arm around his but he did not take his eyes off the TV..  (HALEY must notice how it's getting to NATHAN a bit so she sympathetically puts her arm around him but he doesn't take his eyes off the TV) 

"Hey." Claudia smiled as she placed her hand on Nathan's cheek and turned his head to look at her. When he did do it Claudia grinning at him as she lightly rubbed his face. "HALEY: What happened down there?--at the river? Can you tell me?" Claudia asked and Nathan slowly looked away. Nathan had a horrific flashback to the accident.

"I don't know." Nathan replied quietly as he looked away.

"It's gonna be okay, Nathan." Claudia replied as she hugged him, Nathan leaned back on the couch and Claudia kept her arms around his neck. "Everything's gonna be okay." Claudia comfortingly continued and she moved her hand up and down his chest gently.

"I don't think so, Claudia ... today, for the first time in a long time ... it doesn't feel like anything's gonna be okay." Nathan confessed and Claudia looked at him for a moment before she held his head and brought it closer to hers. She kissed his neck lightly.

"You're a hero, you did everything that you could." Claudia smiled as she leaned back a little. Nathan looked at Claudia with a "Did I" expression.

"Did I?" Nathan asked, Claudia nodded her head as she looked at him.

Cooper was lying in bed as Rachel, back facing door and sitting down, held his wrist and stared at him, scared and sad. Claudia entered holding a bouquet of flowers and looked at Rachel for a moment, before she walked in. Rachel turned to look at Claudia before she looked back at Cooper. Claudia placed the flowers on a table. 

"He should've been awake by now." Rachel stated as she still stared at Cooper. Claudia walked up to them but stared at her with a 'this is your fault' look. "They told me Nathan saved my life." Rachel continued but Claudia wasn't interested. Claudia crossed her arms over. "How is he?" Rachel asked and Claudia shook her head as she looked down as Cooper.

"How is he?" Claudia asked mockingly as she looked back up at Claudia coldly. "He's devastated, Rachel, and it's all your fault." Claudia explained honestly and bluntly. Claudia had reached the breaking point with Rachel.

"Claudia, I-" Rachel began to say sadly but Claudia interrupted.

"I saw you in the limo, with Cooper, you were arguing with him, weren't you?" Claudia asked straight forward as she looked at Rachel pissed off.

"It wasn't what it looked like--" Rachel began to say with a croaking voice. Claudia cut in angrily.

"You ruined everything, you caused a huge scene at the reception, you stole the limo and now everybody's life is worse because of you!" Claudia spat angrily, however, she kept a low voice because Cooper was there. Rachel looked down sadly. "Does it even matter to you?" Claudia asked, she thought that Rachel was always a selfish bitch and I guess in some way this proved it to her. Rachel looked up. "Are you gonna change one single thing because of it?" Claudia asked and Rachel looked up at her tearfully.  "Nathan doesn't need you're thanks--neither do I. So why don't you stay the hell away from us. All of us." Claudia suggested angrily before she walked off. Rachel looked at Cooper sadly.

Claudia was asleep on the bed, Nathan was lying next to her on his back wide wake- he looked worried.   

Nathan was at the roof of the limo trying to breath for air. 

"Claudia!" Nathan exclaimed frightened. He needed her. 

Nathan blinked for a moment, before looking over at Claudia. He got up out of the bed and walked over to the bathroom. Claudia opened her eyes as if she'd never been asleep, only pretending.

___

Brooke walked up to Nathan and Claudia's apartment. She knocked on the door a couple of times. A sleepy Claudia opened the door.

"Hey, Brooke." Claudia croaked as she rubbed her eyes.

"Hey, um.Look, I know it's really late and it's been a long day--but ... I need to talk to you." Brooke confessed nervously as she looked down.

"Yeah," Claudia whispered as she motioned for Brooke to go inside. "Come on in." Claudia smiled and Brooke walked in. Claudia closed the door behind her. 

___

The doctor walked in with a folder, Claudia and Brooke were sitting down waiting patiently. "Well. You're definitely pregnant." The doctor smiled and a shocked Brooke turned to an equally  shocked Claudia. Claudia grabbed Brooke's hand andBrooke held her hand and put her other one on top of there hands. Claudia sighed.

"How the hell am I meant to tell Nathan?" Claudia asked turning to face Brooke, she honestly didn't know what Nathan's reaction would be after everything that had just happened.

___

Nathan was looking at the river, the guard rail wood was all over the side of the bridge and there were booey's with "caution" crime tape around the bridge to warn people of the broken rail. Nathan looked out trying to find something or someone, trying to remember what happened.
