First of all let's get the formality out of the way. This story is a piece of fiction completely thought out by me. So the story and Daisy are my own creation and therefore I claim the copyright to them both. Please do not post this piece of fiction on other sites. Share it via the tools Wattpad already has made accessible.

The main part of the story is finished, however you will still see me updating it periodically because I do plan on including bonus chapters afterward.  So, please do not think I simply just marked it finished when it's not.

***General Note/Update 4/23/21

(I sincerely thought I had posted this already in the Foreword, but apparently not) Personally I love comments, and if I am able to I try to reply to them.  The only times this doesn't happen is when I either can't decide how to respond, my response might contain a spoiler, or the question is answered somewhere else in the chapter.  

I do also want to say though that I reserve the right to delete any negative comments.  If you don't like something then simply don't respond, or if you aren't liking the story then just don't waste my time or yours and stop reading it.  

I would like to add specifically though that I put some outfits that Daisy wears into the story.  It took me hours to comb for the garments in question.  If you don't like the outfit then don't comment on it.  I didn't have to put it there at all after all; I simply wanted the readers to get a very clear understanding of what I had in mind for the outfit she is wearing.

***6/11/21  Feel free to read this and see who I was when I first started this story in late 2019/early 2020, but please understand that my mindset has changed somewhat thanks to the viewers of the story's comments and my own personal growth through the time writing this.

A short personal introduction

Before I dive right into the story I wanted to share a bit about myself. I don't want to disappoint anyone but I haven't been a BTS fan for long. The first song I think I heard was Danger and that was about two years ago, but I didn't really seek out who they were until recently. I think about a year ago I saw the mv for Lights for the first time and it clicked that I needed to know more. But, my life is a busy one, and I still didn't even really get involved in them until maybe two months ago at the most.

I am sure you noted that I said BTS fan and not Army. I want to clarify my reasoning for this really quick. I am under the assumption that to be Army you have to pay for the membership and since I barely have two pennies to rub together I haven't done that as of yet. (I do plan to when I have excess funds available to me.) I don't want claim to be Army when I am not sure that term fully suits me because of this.  If you believe I am mistaken then please feel free to comment on this paragraph.

***Edited 4/2/20.  I want to openly thank so many people who have offered supportive and heartfelt comments to the above paragraph.  I should state after seeing even the first I realized that there is no way I am not anything but ARMY.  Heck, I'm typing this and currently listening to BTS in the background.  So thank you!  Thank you for being so supportive and helpful with my mild identity crisis I guess you could say.  I've seen the light! lol

As I stated before I barely know much about the members of BTS. But, I have been trying to do as much research regarding the story as possible. Because I want the story to be as authentic as possible.  Every day I add even more to my growing list of research that I have done.

I have literally written the first twelve chapters in three to four days time. So, hopefully I can keep continuing at this pace. (Editing this I should add that I have 33 chapters currently written and almost 72,000 words.)

I think this story was brought to life because I haven't found many Reverse Harem BTS fanfics out there that aren't BTSxreader, which personally I'm not really a fan of. I understand their place in the community it just isn't what I like to read.  If you prefer BTS x Reader then you probably won't enjoy this story, but give it a try before you decide that.

***Edited 4/23/21  I want to add simply because I forgot to mention it.  I do mention it later but I think I was perhaps a bit apprehensive to do so before the story began.  While my daughter is not Army, I am more so of Army Mom age.  (My daughter is almost 19 to give you an idea of what age range that puts me at without having to actually share the numerical number.)  

I only bring this up because should some comment happen that I don't understand I will have to own up to my age anyway.  

Also know that while I do adore the members.  I am happily married, and while I squeal like every other fangirl for my bias, I don't hold any delusions of having a romantic relationship with him or any other member.  (No I will not mention my bias before the story is over.  But I will share after I finish the story.)

DNA

This story refers to this BTS song quite often due to the way the lyrics translate in English, and how well those lyrics apply to the story. I am sure that anyone reads this already knows said lyrics well, but if for any reason you don't then please brush up on them.

A Quick shoutout/recommendation

I recommend to anyone that hasn't read it to try Borahae by BTS_PinkyPromises. It's fantastic and I have already re-read most of it over a dozen times. (I can probably attribute my urge to write this story because I love Borahae so much.)

Story framework

Most of the chapters will be in Daisy's first person point of view. But a few here and there will be in BTS 3rd person point of view. I may include some first person chapters from the guy's perspectives later, but I want to get a feel for how the story is going first.

Regarding the texting moments. I don't use my phone or tablet to write the chapters. I use Google Docs and copy paste each chapter. So unless I can find images of emojis I want to use they probably won't include the proper emoji images.

Also, the story is slow paced as I am developing a step by step timeline on their lives together.  I will do some time skips but, at least in the beginning, most everything will be from moment to moment.  And just an FYI  they don't meet up until Chapter 6.  

***Edited 4/2/20  I am wanting to draw emphasis at the above paragraph.  It is slow paced and most of the beginning is essentially fluff, character building, and the stirrings of early romance.  I'm on chapter 48 right now and there has only been mild conflict at this point.  But I want to demonstrate that life isn't always about conflict.  If you want more conflict in a story and find mine too slow paced for you then I understand, but I wanted to reiterate this point as it was really the one concerning detail when the framework of the story started building in my head.

***Edited 3/17/21 Because it has been asked often I am going to go ahead and address this here.  Originally I was planning on writing the story as realistic as possible and have the members all speak the amount of English they were capable of.  Unfortunately I wasn't able to make the story work that way so assume that they speak more English than they originally let on, or since this is an alternate timeline of sorts understand that they just happen to speak English in this story.

Let me also add that when characters do speak in Korean it looks like this:  

"So and so tells so and so how it is"

If it looks like this it's the current character thinking.

Updates

As it stands right now, with how rapidly this story is coming together I plan on doing updates Tuesdays and Fridays. I will notify via an author's note if for some reason that changes because life gets in the way or other outside factors.

***Edit  4/2/20:  I got a little crazy with extra updates and a little behind with actually writing so I may be changing this to once a week for a little bit.  Still in making  a decision mode.

***Edit 5/2/21:  I finished with the story on 4/29/21 so the updates have been moved up to three times a week.  MWF mornings.  This should have the story fully complete mid/lateJuly.

I found these images on Pixabay (a copyright free image website), and they were almost exactly how I was imagining Daisy would look like. I am not great with Photoshop, but I did attempt to make her lips a different shade than the lipstick color she already had.
