Chapter 114
As I head downstairs with my suitcase in tow I am surprised to find that none of my soulmates seem to be lingering about anywhere in the immediate vicinity. My cell phone chimes out a notification so I pull it out of my purse and check what the message that I just received might be about.
Joonie: Don't worry about the rest of us, Baby. We will see you tomorrow.
I didn't realize that I was uneasy until after reading that text, and I automatically took a deep breath as right away I found myself relaxing due to that information. I think subconsciously I might have worried that they were upset that I was being 'kidnapped' away from the rest of them for the night. I smile as I comprehend that the opposite is true. They are instead freely giving us this moment of alone time together.
The suitcase I am toting along isn't even remotely heavy, but the minute I shut the door behind me I find Han Bin beside me taking it from me as if it was filled with cement bricks or something at least as equally as heavy. He opens the side door for me before putting the suitcase in the trunk.
Once he gets in I smile warmly, albeit apologetically, at him. "I'm sorry that we didn't invite the staff to the ceremony, Han Bin. Truthfully, I would have liked to have you there. It would have been nice to see another warm familiar face." I don't vocalize the reason why we didn't invite any of the Big Hit staff members. He is already quite aware how we are being extra precautious since the club night and my pseudo attack. We couldn't very well invite the few that we do trust explicitly and not the others without unintentionally raising suspicion. The only member of security that had been in the vicinity at all had been the one working the gate. With how busy I was today, I am not even sure of which member it was.
He shakes his head at me, bringing me back to the present with both the action and his response. "It's okay, Daisy. Truthfully, aside from myself and a couple of other members of security I trust explicitly, no one else even knows about the ceremony." Because I simply can't control my own curiosity I ask him who is in that circle of trust of his. "Only a few honestly. Jaegeun, Byung-hoon, Chi-won, Minjae, and Korain."
The minute he says Korain my body seems to freeze. "Korain?" I ask, my immediate concern and shocked surprise obviously coloring my voice.
He looks at me briefly in the rearview mirror noticeably trying to get a read on my reaction. "Ah. That's right, Jungkook-ssi told you about that one occurrence." He pauses for a moment to make a sharp turn. "Let's just say that there was more to that moment than appeared. I can't divulge the story though, that would betray the trust he has in me."
Naturally, I can't help but be interested to know more, but I know that I won't get more out of him than he already told me. I have of course wondered if perhaps there was more to the story since the company didn't let him go. The thing is though, over the past few months I have gotten the impression that the staff of Big Hit seems to not only follow what's best for the business, but they seem to lead with their heart and intuition on many things also as well. So, in my head, I had been chalking it up to the possibility that perhaps Big Hit was simply giving him a second chance. Now, however, I am naturally more puzzled than ever.
I look outside as we cross over a very populated area near Han river. The darkening sky is quickly lit up by the numerous lights coming from the windows of several tall office buildings. One building stands out significantly amongst the rest due to its unusual almost rocket-like shape and the fact that it towers above the others against the backdrop of the growing dark panel of the indigo colored evening sky. Color me shocked when only a few minutes later Han Bin turns into the drive of this building. "Is this where I am staying tonight?"
As he puts the car in park in front of the entrance to the building he turns and smiles at me. "It is. This building is the Lotte World Tower. It's South Korea's tallest building. Floors 76 through 101 house the Signiel. Seokjin-ssi told me that he reserved the Presidential Suite for the two of you."
My eyes immediately start hurting after I widen them in astonishment. He reserved what is probably the most expensive room for one night in what is probably also the most expensive hotel in all of South Korea. I find it equally astonishing that I will be staying in a hotel room that could very well cost somewhere high in the triple digits (United States Dollar) per night. Hell, it's equally astonishing to be in any of these high elevation hotel rooms, just due to the fact that the first level is on the 76th floor.
A staff member is there waiting curbside for my bag with a trolley. I'm thankful that Jin laid out one of my new pieces of luggage to put the few articles of clothing and toiletries I needed for tonight. Had it been up to me I probably would have automatically grabbed my older carry on. That would have looked really shabby on the base of the shiny golden chrome trolley. I'm not really surprised to see Han Bin pull out his own bag from the trunk. I am sure that he, and whatever other member of security that will be escorting Jin over, will give us our privacy. It's unsurprising though that he insisted on also staying somewhere in the lavish hotel tonight.
I'm pleased to find though that the lobby is fairly empty, and those that are lingering are mostly staff. Another staff member takes the trolley from the first and leads us to the elevator. Han Bin stands at my back to protect me from any potential threats despite the vacantness of the room. "I'll be staying on the 97th floor. It's the closest room I could get with two beds to your location." The staff member presses the 99th floor button. "I'll follow you up to your room first though. To make sure you get there safely, and only leave once you are inside."
I nod at him. I try to do my best to not be nervous as the elevator climbs higher and higher. When I feel pressure on my eardrums I don't even hesitate to swallow to relieve it, although I do wish that I had some gum on hand to make the attempt a tad bit easier.
We turn right once we get off the elevator, and the Presidential Suite is located at the end of the hallway. Han Bin doesn't look terribly pleased to discover this, but I'm personally not bothered. I really don't think anyone will bother us up here. I'm sure the hotel, if not the building itself, has a large security detail of their own to restrain anyone that doesn't belong here from even entering.
I tip the staff member and tell him that he can just leave the suitcase inside the door once he opens it. I would honestly like a moment to myself to look around the suite that Jin allocated for the two of us. In fact, I don't let myself focus on the room at all until Han Bin reminds me that he is only a couple floors down and they both bow to tell me goodbye.
Because it's a suite I am not remotely stunned to find the first room I come across is a living area of sorts. The room is basically a large long rectangle. The long side being the width of the room, the short sides making up the depth. There is a table situated on either side of the room. The one to my immediate right has a pretty white and gray marble top with four plush dining chairs seated at it, even though I am sure it would be difficult to fit both the people and the amount of food for each person on the table.
The table to the far left has only two chairs and is quite a bit more narrow then the one on the right. I can only hazard a guess that this one is probably meant more for working at or even two person board games.
In the center of the room is a medium sized sofa that could fit at least three people comfortably, but I can also easily imagine a minimum of five people squishing themselves to fit on it. There is a small coffee table in front of it with a marble top similar to the one of the table on the right. Directly across from the couch is a large flat screen television. I would guesstimate it to be about 50 inches (127 cm), but I am horrible at eyeballing the size of such things.
When I walk into the next room I nearly back up out of it right away. This bathroom almost puts mine to shame. The only thing not marble in this room is the ceiling. The walls and floor are both white marble with swirls of black and gray. There is a stool with a private vanity tucked in one corner, and opposite that are his and her sink vanities. The marble here is done in opposite colors as the floor and walls, with black being the base color and swirls of white and gray. Tucked away in a separate corner is the bathing area, and I both want to take a swim in the deep two person sized tub and also run screaming from the hotel. It is situated only a foot (.30 meters), at most, away from the window that nearly occupies the whole wall from floor to ceiling. Perhaps if there were a curtain and the room weren't on the 99th floor then I might be more comfortable taking a bath while looking outside and watching the clouds roll by. I scan the room again wondering where the shower might be, it takes me a couple moments to realize that there is a showerhead hooked up to the faucet of the tub. I go back out to the entryway and grab my bag. I drag it in and place my toiletries in their appropriate places before I finally visit the last room of the suite.
I don't know what I expected from the bedroom, but honestly this isn't it. Perhaps, I have seen far too many romance movies. The colors in this room simply don't scream that this is someone's boudoir of seduction. The colors are neutral and almost soothing in their simplicity. The walls are all painted a vanilla cream color. Due to the angles and light of the room the wall behind the bed almost looks to be a taupe brown, but in reality the color is actually the same as the rest of the room. There is a cherry blossom tree painted on that wall with some of those blossoms breaking away from the branches and blowing on the breeze. At the foot of the bed is a blush colored couch with four deeper pink hued pillows.
I place my suitcase on the bed and open it up to pull out the beautiful garments I bought somewhat recently. After I had learned about the ceremony I had bought a new negligee and robe combination. It was both in hopes that a special night like this would be Jin's, and if it weren't this night to be prepared to make his first night with me exceptionally special.
When I looked at feminine pink negligees I had only a couple of options. The first was a simple straight a-line garment of silky fabric where the neckline sort of swooped down in a v. That one probably would have been the smarter choice, since Jin and I haven't really even had a proper make out session yet. The closest he has seen me to being unclothed at all are my bikinis and even they cover quite a bit more than the negligee I ended up purchasing.
The bottom half of the negligee is made out of much the same material as the first one I considered, but that is the only similarity between the two pieces of lingerie. The top half of the negligee is completely sheer lace with only a smattering of an embroidered pattern covering the lace in strategic places. If it weren't for the extravagant robe I bought with it I would probably have chickened out on wearing this at all. My plan is to hopefully wear the robe for as long as possible before unveiling how little the negligee covers.
The pair of panties I purchased to go with it are practically composed entirely of lace. The only exceptions are the front panel and the actual gusset, or the part that of the panties that would also be called the crotch. I'm not sure why I prefer the word gusset over crotch honestly. I'm not as concerned about the amount of lace on the panties due to the fact that they will be the last piece of fabric he sees before I am completely nude before him for the first time.
When I saw the robe I instantly fell in love with it. However, it was when I tried it on that I knew it was meant to be the garment I wore for Jin. He called me his princess, well this garment made me feel like one with it's billowing bell sleeves, embroidered lace pattern at the hem, sleeves, and belt. Not to mention the shimmering bands of ribbon at the collar of the robe.
I take a deep breath before I lay out the three garments on the bed, sit aside a lotion I bought specifically for this moment, stow away my suitcase, and disrobe down to only my current bra and panties. I pick the lotion back up and contemplate using it once again. I might have went a bit too far with this purchase honestly. First of all, it wasn't my traditional fragrance. Instead it was a mix of rosemary, bitter cherry, and cherry blossoms. Perhaps, it was the cherry blossoms, which reminded me of our most recent date, paired with the natural ingredients that sold me on the purchase. Although, it was honestly the fact that it was a shimmering body lotion that drew my attention to it initially. I thought the shimmery aspect would add to the overall "princess-like" impression I was trying to make with the outfit. Before I scrutinized my concerns regarding the lotion too closely I started to apply the lotion in faint sweeping brushes across my bare skin.
Once I was satisfied with the silky softness and delicate, subtle shimmer that the lotion left behind I removed my bra and panties and started dressing myself in the beautiful nightwear. It's only after I have cinched the satin belt around me and tied a bow that I pick up my phone from where I had placed it on the bedside table.
Me: You have outdone yourself with this room you reserved for us. How much longer do you think you will be?
I only have to wait about ten seconds before he replies.
Jin: We are just pulling up to the building now, Princess.
Me: See you soon then.
A/N: Per normal I will be posting links to the available garments I found for their night together, and yes those images are from the actual presidential suite. If I still have the homepage I found those at I will post that too. :)
