Thanks to watching the Muster I got the urge to write out a background story for the VCR.   It will be a general audience/teen story, and I have no current plans to make it a romance. (Perhaps a spin off or this could be a prequel to one however.)  *Please note though that I may scrap this idea since Science Fiction isn't my forte and it does overwhelm me a bit.  

(Working) Synopsis

BTS is a space crew that are either having difficulty with their spacecraft or are trying to search for a new place to repopulate after Earth has died. The nearest planet they find with sustainable life is pink with two rings that are made up of floating rock surrounding it. When they try to navigate through it they lose control and hit the rocks which sends them completely off course to the spot they were aiming for landing. Instead they end up in a completely barren wasteland where the air is toxic (either due to the lack of plants or perhaps the soil here has some component that makes the particles in the air toxic). Their aircraft is left unfixable, and their target landing point months away traveling via their landrover.

This will be my next BTS story.  Although their are two other projects fighting for next project release.

Synopsis

This isn't your typical paranormal/fantasy demon based romance...

There is a thin line between a god and a demon. Lucifer recruited seven former greek gods as his own dominion. The dominions over the seven deadly sins.

Dionysus was charged as the head of the dominion of gluttony. He reigned over hundreds of legions that walked the earthen realm to spread his brand of chaos. But he was most proud of his legion of seven that not only spread his cravings of gluttony to humans but also kept their eyes peeled for potential cambion who were illegally born of the the other dominions of the seven sins.

The Legion of Dionysus had never had as much trouble tracking an illegal demon as they have had with this one. She was slippery and often had seemed to just disappear right under their noses. Her death count was climbing rapidly, and they were determined to capture her and deem out punishment.

Only when they do finally corral her nothing is what it seems. Sure she has the abilities they had feared. But she also has abilities that no demon should have. They have to wonder if she is somehow a halfbreed. If somehow she is a misfit, just like the rest of them.

This story is done in multiple first person perspectives and combines multiple mythological references, folklore references, and even references from a classical narrative poem.

Don't think of demons as monstrous looking creatures. Because these beings look anything but. Not to mention being a demon seems to be only half of what they are...

It seems to be only half of what she is as well.

Sneak Peaks (Some are shorter simply due to potential spoilers)Everleigh Perspective:

I glance around me and notice a tall dark haired man approaching me. I licked my lips as I took in his appearance. I could easily get the impression of the form of his body due to his choice in tight clothing. I chose to steer my eyes away from the muscles that the fabric was barely veiling. I instead focused on his face. He had this darkness about him. It didn't seem cloaked with sinister intent, but rather a heated intriguing curiosity. His face was most definitely handsome and it was made that much more so when he got this dangerous look in his eyes. I almost wondered what he would look like when he wasn't attempting to be so seductive. I wondered at the way his face would transform when he smiled. I mean yeah, there was no denying his attractiveness, and judging by the cocky smirk that appeared on his face as he walked towards me he knew it too, but cuteness was equally attractive to me and I found myself almost wanting to see that kind of expression on his face as well.

Namjoon's Perspective:

I scowled as he unintentionally shared his scene with us telepathically as he said goodbye to a shadowed woman who's pupils were quite obviously dilated, pulse was accelerated, and as he left her behind I could hear how she was heavily panting as she leaned against the brick wall that was behind her. If the shared vision were able to include scent along with it I was sure that the slickness gathered between her thighs would permeate through my nostrils. I groaned at that salacious lingering thought. We weren't immune to the seven sins ourselves. The polar opposite actually. (Luckily, as demons, our own growing sins didn't feed the quota for the dominion over said sin.) We each had our own vices...

Taehyung's Perspective:

I climb up a small set of stairs so I can watch the dance floor only a couple feet below my elevation as she flits through the crowd of undulating bodies. Somehow, when she passes by, she manages to both come within each dancer's personal bubble, but also keep a controlled distance. It's almost choreographed how practiced her movements are. From one beat to the next she moves, and I find myself no longer simply on task to stalk a suspect. It hardly matters if she is a potential cambion that doesn't know of her lineage, or a potential demonic killer that needs to be brought to justice. Not in this moment at least. Because right now I'm simply a man ogling the beauty and shape of the woman before him.

Hoseok's Perspective:

Once I was within a few feet of her I gave her my dazzling smile and pressed myself into her personal bubble.

That's the moment I felt her lust dwindle, and I was immediately able to read the panic that set in her eyes. Instead of being drawn into my presence she immediately backs away. Huh? That's a first. I don't think a woman has ever ran from me before.

Taehyung happens to see what is happening and telepathically communicates the problem before I can pull my head out of my own ass to do so. I take offense to the fact that he narked on me, and we argue briefly like children about it before Namjoon gets us back on track.

Jimin's Perspective:

When she turned back to them I took the opportunity to step out of the veil myself. I focused on her and let my empathic magic reach out and get acquainted with her and her alone. So many emotions.

Fear. She was afraid of us. Reasonable, we were demons after all.

Concern. I studied that one for a second. I tried to keep the surprise from echoing on my face when I understood her reasoning. She didn't want to hurt anyone.

Repulsion. What was she repulsed by? I asked myself. It took a second to realize that she was repulsed by herself. By the monster she viewed herself to be.

The next emotion was almost hesitant. Like she didn't want to feel the way she did but couldn't help herself. Attraction.

Jungkook's Perspective

Perhaps Namjoon's idea to send the three of us out to coerce human targets to be gluttonous wasn't the best idea he ever had. We were, after all, the three out of all seven of us that happened to struggle the most with gluttony. Usually the groups are a bit more balanced than they happen to be tonight, but this elusive threat who was somehow constantly managing to elude us was causing our leader to lose sight of the best protocol to implement in these situations. Luckily, I was the most balanced of the three of us on the task tonight.

Hmm. Okay perhaps I should admit to myself that was probably my own pride talking. Tonight we were supposed to work from within the veil, and only send out impulses to convince our targets to indulge in the sin. I didn't know if the other two would succeed themselves.

Seokjin's Perspective:

Because of this huge curveball and memories I wished that had been kept buried deep inside me, or at least in the past, I surprisingly lost my appetite. That fact at least in turn made it easy to regain my focus on the task at hand. I managed my quota for the night in under an hour. I didn't linger, even though a part of me heavily considered it. The receptacle that the sin deposited into didn't have a set volume to it after all; I could continue working past my quota for the night if I so chose. Instead, I decided to hang up my job for the night and head to our rendezvous point; I was assuming I would be waiting on the others to arrive.

Yoongi's Perspective

Namjoon's suggestion be damned. I thought to myself as I arrived at the first bar. I wouldn't consume enough alcohol to get drunk. After all that would probably take the bar's entire shelf of alcohol plus whatever they had stocked in the back. Hmm, actually even that amount probably wouldn't get the job done. However, I also wasn't about to fucking just sit in the veil forcing myself to refrain from the libations and simply focus solely on the job I had to do.

I could do this shit with my eyes closed. Actually I would find sleep a lot more fucking appealing than this grunt work. Hmph. Then again that was my main vice. Of course sleep would appeal to someone that is plagued by sloth after all. 

*Before heading into the synopsis please know that this particular start is on the back burner, and I don't know when I will be working on it.  But because it is a potential future project I felt I should include it.

Synopsis

A slow paced moving love story between a lonely girl who has no one and the seven members of BTS.

Evie wasn't expecting to lose her grandmother like she did. She thought she would have been taken in her sleep. But there was a huge accident that quite literally tore her family apart.

Her grandmother left her everything in the will, including a hefty amount of cash and a spacious 8 bedroom cabin in a small town in Colorado.

Her brother pushes her away in the worst way possible leaving her to decide to pick up the pieces and move in the cabin.

Little does she know that three months ago the cabin was rented out to BTS and late in the middle of the night after she falls asleep she is rudely awakened by their unexpected intrusion. 

Now onto the next Kpop Fanfiction before I pop into it let me let you know that this is a continuation of the underlying plotline of Encoded in Our DNA.  So yes it is going to be a series.  Also, I am sure that a lot of you have already made the connection, but in case you didn't I was making connections to the second story by bringing in both Minghao (The8) and Soonyoung (Hoshi) toward the end of the story.  So, this announcement is the second story in that series.

Synopsis

Calliope has always had a difficult life. No, that difficulty didn't start with her blindness. In fact in some ways she considered her blindness a blessing. However, it did add its own set of challenges.

Despite the challenges blindness provided though she chose a field of study that she was highly advised against since part of learning language and the science of language is visual. She also elected to learn not one foreign language, but three, and despite the challenges learning those languages presented she persevered.

She never expected for those languages to come in handy after she identifies who her soulmates are. She is shocked when she learns that they are six members from the large Kpop group, Seventeen. It's a good thing that two of the three foreign languages she is proficient at are Chinese and Korean.

Edit 6/24/22:  First off, the title and potential cover changed. Let me know which one you prefer, but even these aren't necessarily the final product.

Now I don't expect everyone to know about Seventeen, and even I am struggling to learn their personalities since there are thirteen members.  So, while I haven't started it yet, I am planning on taking a lot more liberties for the sake of the story.  Which means you probably don't necessarily need to know Seventeen to read it.  Also, it is planned to have a lot more conflict and some even triggering moments.  

Now you might ask what about the other members that have a soulmate mentioned when Minghao is first introduced in this story.  I do plan on doing a brief prelude with their story as well because Calliope and their soulmate will become pretty close, but I don't plan on making it terribly long.  I can only handle so many characters.  

Because I don't have any sneak peaks to offer, since I am still in research stage,  I figured I would introduce those of you that don't know Seventeen to the members instead, as well as how I envisioned Calliope.

I picture Calliope to mostly look like Saoirse Ronan.  Especially how pale blue her eyes are in this picture.  But I wanted her to have a nose more similar to Carey Mulligan's.

I look over at the trio who should be doing more than listening to our music and goofing off, and despite the fact that I am quite irritated with them, I can't keep the fond smile from my face. We are supposed to be practicing our choreo for a new song that we will be releasing in a month for our new comeback. Instead of course the maknae is winding up the other two by showing off the latest app on his phone that he has exhibited interest in. Judging by the goofy expressions they are making at the phone it must be some new camera filter.

I see what Jaeyeon is doing, and I'm honestly mildly surprised by his actions. Out of all of us he is the most athletic due to his involvement with football, volleyball, and jokgu (foot volleyball). The problem is he has spurts of sheer laziness. That fact is pushed to the extreme when it comes to cleaning. His room isn't a pigsty by any means, but it isn't exactly tidy either. Granted the fact that he shares his room with Jibyeol is probably a key factor to why it isn't as much of a pigsty as it could be. He enjoys being both the younger member's roommate as well as his role model. So it isn't a strain for him to try to be better in the youngest member's eyes.

Watching Gamon-hyung's phone conversation with Minsookie is almost comical. He becomes quite animated when he grows overly concerned, and if he doesn't focus his hands fly around gesticulating all willy nilly in no real sensical pattern. Good thing he has enough of a state of mind to keep his right hand still otherwise his cell phone would go flying. Perhaps, it is the memory of how in fact that very scenario has happened in the past that makes him able to retain enough focus to keep that hand in particular as steady as possible.

Twenty minutes later, the photographer claims he has what he needs for the outfit that I am currently wearing. I make my way to the small changing room and eyeball the next outfit they plan on shooting. It honestly is pushing the clause in my contract regarding how revealing my clothing during these shoots is allowed to be, but that's why I specifically keep getting hired for these shoots. Because I am willing to take such huge risks and stand at the edge of what is right and wrong, both morally in general and in regards to the clauses that my manager insisted be put in my contract.

I always worried for my future, because honestly I didn't know what I would end up doing with myself after we eventually disbanded. If what Juah-hyung just suggested is possible though that means that we would never have to separate, even if we do eventually disband the group. We would still be a family just because our soulmate would keep us tied forever together.

Lily's perspective:

It's been five days since I received my marks. Five days since I learned the possibility that I might have five Internationally famous soulmates. And, unfortunately, Five days without any kind of news about Alluvion potentially having received their own soulmate marks. If my soulmates were the members of Alluvion I would have thought that I would have heard something due to how fast celebrity news travels via social media, but I've heard nothing; even though I don't peruse social media myself much I have two friends that do. Perhaps it was my own fault to have silently agreed to rely on them to be my resource to inform me of the potential news. However, they have shared nothing in the past five days which I can only assume is because there was nothing newsworthy yet for them to share.

Another thing I have considered doing is potentially looking into and opening a Patreon account.  I don't know much about it, nor what I would post as benefits.  But since this is essentially my job that I don't get paid for I figured it might be a good idea.  

Also, I apologize that this took so long to post.  I literally had most of my notes already to simply copy and paste, but then I decided to include info about Seventeen since I can't expect everyone to be a Carats.

Oh, and yes I based the visual representation of the members of Alluvion on real Kpop stars.  If you guess who each of them are I will probably confirm it.  But it's not something I plan on releasing.
