Chapter 7 (Friend?)

"Uhhh.." Steve lifted from his bed, one hand over his forehead to keep the spinning at a minimum.

"Wakey wakey, who wants some steaky?" Steve heard a feminine voice break the silence he feared he was stuck in. Steve jumped up further, making his head only feel worse, and he opened his eyes only to find them blurry. "Oh, glowey eyes. Sweet. No wonder they locked you up in here. You must be some sort of malfunction too." The voice continued. Slowly, Steve's eyes adjusted to a world he didn't like. Grey was all around him. Iron bars made up one wall, while the rest were made up of stone bricks. Steve looked down and saw he was on a couple simple trap doors which were padded with carpet. But, as much as he looked around, he couldn't seem to find whoever had spoken earlier. Suddenly, he heard something land on the stone floor, and swiftly turned his head to the right, eyeing a piece of steak as it bounced a bit before settling. He then looked up slightly, seeing a woman with bribht red hair, wearing a green shirt and brown pants as well as grey boots, chilling in a window sill right below the roof. Though she looked a little cramped, casually watching whatever was considered interesting through the iron bars that made up the window, she also looked quite comfortable. "Hey. My name is Alex. Don't wear it out, because we are going to be stuck here for a loooong time!" The lady said casually. Steve was mostly puzzled by her care free attitude.

"Wai.. wha?. Where am I? Who are you?! How did I get here?! Where is here!?" Steve began to panic, quickly standing to his aching feet and running over to the wall of bars. He began pulling and punching on them, but from the beginning he knew it was pointless.

"That ain't going to work, Potato Head!" The lady scoffed, crossing her arms while smirking down at him.

"What did you call me, mortal?" Steve's voice darkened, his eyes shining brighter as his feet lifted off the floor. He then turned amid air, angered to the bone.

"Oh, you must be that.. Uh- Herobrine-dude! Yeah, the one who can do magic, and stuff.. go figure." The lady said carelessly. Steve hovered over to her, a glare on his face most would tremble at.

"Listen here Little Missie, I will not go disrespecte-" He was smacked across the face and sent tumbling down onto the floor where his dignity was replaced with pain.

"You don't speak that way to me, foo! Na-ah! Maybe to whichever player you've been chasing around, but not me! We clear?!" The woman snapped down at him, angered with his attitude as much as he was with hers. But, with his senses momentarily knocked away, Steve go up, quietly picked up the steak without a single thanks, and sat back down where he had woken up, easing as quietly as possible. He could tell his staying here was going to be long lived, so he didn't feel rushed for anything, such as answers.
